First time visit to this brand new restaurant so I thought I would give an honest review. Be sure to like and follow me for my unbiased reviews of restaurants, entertainment spots, and other places to go. Let's get into this... First off, the decor is both elegant and yet charming. Not stuffy shirt formal but more like business casual or semi formal. When you first walk in, there are literally over 1,000 bottles of wine or more on display. While you wait for your table, the huge wine bar has plenty of room to step up and try a glass or two. There is also a section on the right where you can simply come in and purchase a bottle to go, along with fresh truffles. I only saw four flavors of those, and all were delicious. Once seated, they brought it fresh bread and butter. The menu has a great deal of variety so it should be easy for everyone to find something that they like or want to try. I had the shrimp and scallop risotto and it was very delicious. Be sure to ask for fresh parmesan, the waiter didn't offer. I also had the bacon wrapped shrimps for an appetizer and it was quite good too. I saw that they offered vegetarian dishes as well as gluten free dishes. There were some delicious desserts as well, I wanted to try them all but settled on the truffles eventually. Of curious note, the menus were basic plain paper. Most nice places have thick fancy menus, and just swap out inserts. And after we ordered, the waiter actually balled them up, as if throwing them away. One could only assume this was because maybe the menu offering changed daily or often. I will update this and find out next time I go there. Check out my pictures for th scenery, the menu, and pics of our dishes we had.

This place was recommended by friends and I was pleasantly impressed. It did not disappoint. This restaurant and winery offers a very upscale experience without being too stuffy. We came in with a very large group without a reservation and they still were able to accommodate us with some flexibility on our end. Which was completely understandable and impressive. Ask about a membership that offers wine tastings and deals on purchases from the winery. My friend was able to have us both take part in a tasting that offered 8 once pours of house wine. This tasting included the sweet options and the bartender was extremely knowledgeable and fun during the experience. We moved on to lunch where the server did excellent with handling roughly 20 guests across a couple of tables. I ordered a namesake margarita which was well balanced and tasty. I went with 2 appetizers for my lunch ordering the ahi tuna tartare and the chicken pot stickers. The tuna was fresh and excellent. A drop of hot sauce, fresh avocado, light seasoning and a sweet sauce made for an amazing dish. The pop stickers we perfectly seared and I really enjoyed the Asian slaw. This is definitely a place to try. Great for any occasion. The one area of opportunity would be on service. Where almost everyone was top notch, we had one food runner deliver a dish where a guest had to pick up their empty plate for her to set it yet she did not offer to take the plate from him. He also asked if his salad was still to come since his main dish was delivered and she basically blew it off and said ya it should be coming. Felt like she wasn’t playing at the same level we had come to expect. Seemed like one off but worth noting nevertheless.

Stopped here for a snack one evening during the Players tournament.⛳Wouldn't hesitate to return! Delicious appetizers. I has the Thai lettuce wraps. Absolutely delicious. Husband had pork belly tostadas. Washed mine down with a Bubbles flight! Staff was exceptional too!

I’ll start with the bad stuff. We had a reservation. Sat down at our table after sitting for more that’s 15-20 minutes I came to one of the staff and asked why no one even came to our table to give us water. The staff member reacted very professionally and send a waitress our way. Later on the manager came up and apologized and offered to give us a discount for the inconvenience. So I respect that they owned up to their mistake. Service after that was great. Food was pretty good. God the bacon shrimp, very flavorful. Place is super clean, great drinks, lots of variety.

Very nice place with a variety of dishes and seafood. My daughter picked to celebrate her master graduation. Service was courteous and friendly food was delicious. There's plenty wines to choose from. The only thing odd is the bar area, no chairs to seat at all, so us a standing bar lol. Overall place is clean and nice atmosphere, reservation recommended

Hadn’t been back here for years, so glad we finally went back! Amazing lunch. Service was great, ambiance was perfect, seating was wonderful, and the food was outstanding. So flavorful and fresh! It is pricey, but well worth it.

Our waitress, Laura, was super sweet and very much catered to me being vegan. She was on point the whole time and knew everything about the menu! The food was superb and honestly not they badly priced for a restaurant this nice. Their wine was also amazing! 11/10 recommendation this place to vegans and non vegans alike!

We've been here twice and loved it. The staff was very professional and provided great service. The food was delicious too. They have a large wine selection and wine bar, as well as some good beers. My husband loved the locally brewed beer they served. There's a very nice outdoor patio as well. We were traveling from South Florida, we wish there was a Coopers Hawk where we live!

First time here for dinner. Very busy and lively. Service was just okay. We had the bruschetta for appetizer. It was delicious . Also the shrimp, lobster, and crab bisque. Very chunky but good. Dinner was the short ribs and shrimp and scallops risotto. The ribs came out cold but the risotto was hot. The scallops were seared only on one side. Told the waitress about the ribs and she took the plate and brought back a smaller plate with only the ribs which had been heated up. No mash potatoes or sauce. Which my husband said made the dish delicious. Brought the mash potatoes back on a separate plate. At least it was hot. But they should have just remade the entire dish. Might come back might not. The jury is still out.

No matter the location, CH never disappoints. This location in particular gave excellent customer service from the wine tasting to the meal to my bottle pickup. Ashleigh was amazing for the wine tasting. Jasmine was superb for our meal. If you visit this location, ask for them. Oh and shout out to the hostess that had bathroom karaoke with me LOL I didn't get her name. I'll be back since this is the closest location to my home.

Really like this place, business casual and it's usually best to call ahead for reservations or book online for dinner. Staff has been pleasant on several occasions. *I just went again to experience the wine tasting and chose the sweet wines. I was guided by Frank, who had a vast knowledge about flavor profiles and blending wines. Again, the consistency with all staff and the quality of Cooper's Hawk is what will bring me back. Their wine club is great!

We've heard the hype for several years and didn't want to believe it, but it's true!! This place makes their own wines. They let you have samples prior to buying. Smart decision, because you'll fall in love with some of their wines and inevitably order a drink. We had brussel sprouts and it was out of this world and a huge portion. They have a menu for lower calorie entrees. Both times we visited I had the blackened Ahi Tuna. It's. Huge portion for such little calories!! You won't be hungry after. They have complimentary pretzel bread that is soft and delicious. We had Jeff for lunch and he was awesome. I forgot the manager's name, but she was very nice and personally came out to our table to welcome us for our first visit. 3 night later we had Jennifer and she was also very knowledgeable about the wines.

I was slightly disappointed this time, I used to like this place. First thing I didn’t like, staff didn’t want to sit us at the patio because of “staff shortage “ I don’t see the difference of serving inside or outside. When we starting ordering we couldn’t order anything because they run out of things ( disappointing), meals that we ordered were good and our waitress was good. If you are planning to come make sure they have everything on menu. I think this place used to be alive. Now it feels like slightly dying( just my opinion)

I'll start by saying that our server was terrific, and so was the food and wine. He recommended a wine pairing for each food choice, and it was also clearly shown on the menu as well. The prices for the food was good to. It was just really loud and the tasting bar and where we dined. Maybe it was all of the wine flowing, but you did have to talk really loud across the table.

We celebrated our 12th year wedding Anniversary! Even though it was 30 minutes before the wine tasting closed, they still served us like we had all night and mind you we had the wine bar all to ourselves! Technically the kitchen was closed, but they still served us which was so Dope! It was a wonderful experience and a lovely way to end our evening! We're also members since 2022 and I love picking up my monthly selected wine choices!! We love this place!!

Awesome awesome place!! We got seated within 10 mins of arrival. The hostess and the waitress were professional and courteous. The food is 5 star all the way, everything we had tasted exceptional. We ordered the pot stickers and the lettuce wraps as appetizers. Those two tasted so good and so delicious!! The coleslaw with the pot stickers was a surprise. I ordered the trio filet minion and it was cooked to perfection. The taste was incredible with the different toppings!! Will definitely go back again and try other dishes!!

I like the concept of this restaurant for Jacksonville, but it just doesn’t cut it. Jacksonville is in desperate need of an upscale trendy restaurant scene that is comparable to a city of its size. I feel Cooper Hawks is a start in that direction. Unfortunately, as someone who is well traveled, not from Jacksonville, this restaurant deeply disappointed me, and the food was not terrible, but it was not. Starting with the pretzel bread it tasted like some microwaved processed, frozen bread that they tried to pass off as gourmet. We ordered the shrimp wrap appetizer, and it was good, but definitely missing some type of base such as a crostini or tortilla cups. The dish was just off. As for the short ribs I ordered, way too salty. I couldn’t even do it. I took it home to a family member and they didn’t even want it, not to mention the vegetables they served with the short ribs were burnt. Also, those egg rolls were nasty. Chili’s does a way better job of southwestern egg rolls than Cooper Hawks. For the price and quality, I would NEVER come back to Cooper Hawks. The place is overrated and the food is nasty.

My fiance and I visited to preview their venue for our wedding dinner and we ended up staying for a tasting and lunch. The tasting was great! Our sommelier was very knowledgeable and even gave us a mixture she came up with that was delicious! We ended up joining the wine club right after and were able to reap some of the benefits right away. The food was amazing! Like OMG! Their chicken egg rolls with this sweet salsa that I’ve never had before makes you want to curse! The burger tasted like a VIP Big Mac. But, for those who don’t eat Big Macs…it just tastes like the best burger you’ve ever remembered, experienced, or dreamt about lol. The Southern fried chicken sandwhich was so good it was still good cold. The bartender also created us a bomb cocktail with the wines we had just tasted. Let me not forget the purchasable items, which I wanted all of them. Their wine scented candles smell lovely. I hope you get to experience what we did! We can’t wait for our wedding dinner here!

Disclaimer: My husband and I are long time patrons of Coopers Hawk and this is the first time we have had this experience. I made reservations for 7pm Valentine’s Day early in January. We arrived and were seated promptly. We ordered a bottle of red wine and then placed our order. This was all done within a span of 15-20 minutes. After and additional 30 minutes, our waitress told us that our food should be coming up soon. The restaurant was super busy and we went there last year for Valentine’s Day and had zero issues. When our food arrived, at 7:50 my husband’s dish wasn’t warm. I had the filet medallions and they were tough and had a pungent flavor. I sent my order back and noticed a few other tables next to us sent theirs back as well. I then ordered the braised short rib risotto (pictured here). The dish wasn’t warm and not appetizing visually or by taste. I ended up canceling my order and not placing another one because at that point, I was tired of the back and forth and waiting for food that did not taste good. We paid for my husband’s meal and our bottle of wine. I ended up stopping at a fast food restaurant for my Valentine’s Day meal.

This was our first time dining, and what a great experience! Our server was Colby, top notch service. He went above and beyond with recommendations, knowledge and just overall attentiveness. This company is lucky to have him. Now for the food… everything was absolutely delicious! We ate the drunken shrimp, and arancini balls for appetizers. Both wonderful! For entrees we chose chicken piccata, ahi tuna, and gnocchi carbonara. Food was very tasty, fresh and everything we hoped it would be. Will definitely dine again!

I had lunch to try a few items for an upcoming event. I love this menu, so much variety! I want to try everything! I had the Drunken shrimp and Brussels sprouts appetizers, Chicken Madeira entree and S'mores Budino dessert - all excellent, delicious choices! Great service and awesome food and drinks but they pretty much had me at wine! Totally enjoyed and Highly recommend!

This is always a great place to go! Our server was Janny and she was awesome! Very knowledgeable about the wines we were tasting! My sister and I are members. Our experiences get better each time we go! One of my favorite spots in the town center and I live on the Westside of town.

We tried calling for a reservation for 7, but they were fully committed for larger parties, so we opted for 2 different reservation but asked to sit next to each other. Perfect. Our server was nice and checked on us frequently. Food: Complimentary Bread Caprese Flatbread Gnocchi Carbonara Pretzel Crusted Pork Chop add Drunken Shrimp Aranchini- Deep Fried rice ball with cheese The complimentary bread was delicious. The pork chop was meh, and the shrimp was overcooked and rubbery. I tasted the carbonara, and the flavor was not there. It lacked. The highlight was the appetizers. They were the best. I'd return for the wine and appetizers only. Overall, it's a really nice restaurant, and I would love to stop by again for the wine tasting.

This contemporary winery offers very tasty food, making it a great upscale option for a date night. The risotto is a standout dish and worth the price.

Always great food and service! Got the tuna special appetizer - it was to-die-for. Delicate and delicious, full of flavor. The passion fruit margarita is superb, one of the best margaritas I’ve had. Did the flatbread and salad combo which is a ton of food for the price! Love it here!

Nice atmosphere with a good menu. Staff was friendly. There hasn’t been much I have had here that I didn’t like. I recommend this for a date night, for a nice dinner for no reason or any other reason you can think of to enjoy their food. Reservations are highly recommended

Classy establishment that offers wine tastings before or instead of lunch/dinner and then also offer wine pairings with your food. They start you with pretzel bread which is delicious and the menu has lots of different options! Food is fresh and the servers are very nice.

Had a reservation here the other night, but made sure we arrived early to do the wine tasting before hand. We made our way through the tasting and after about an hour after our reservation window had passed, we were finally seated... The bread and the salmon were really good, and the wine tasting helps you to figure out what might be a good glass to have with dinner. My pasta on the other hand had good flavor but was on the dry side of things for sure. The hostess (can't remember her name right now) was super sweet and accommodating for us, and the poor bartender had to yell out to us what each course of wine was because it is a mad house up front there at the bar.

We were celebrating our anniversary and they made us feel special. Our server Leslie was amazing. Her suggestions were spot on. The food was delicious. They pair wine withh your entree or you can sample a selection before you request a glass or a bottle. My husband who is a foodie was very impressed.
