Good place for brunch and dessert. While the menu had some interesting dishes and the steak sandwich was delicious, they don't justify the expensive check. At these prices, I expect to be more impressed. However, the desserts are really good, though a bit too sweet for my taste. Service was friendly and we didn't wait long for food.

This upscale restaurant is perfect for a fancy date night out with your significant other. The service was quick and the staff were friendly. We ordered the duck napoleon, seared halibut, and prime rib. Everything was cooked to perfection. The halibut and steak both had a crispy outer crust the made your mouth water when you bit into it. The steak was tender, flavorful, and buttery and the halibut was light and flaky. The halibut came with roasted potatoes that were cooked in a cheesy lobster bisque that was absolutely incredible. It was the best lobster bisque I have ever tasted. The duck napoleon was a unique combination of flavors that went together so well. It was served to us cold but I took some to go so I could heat it up at home and it was delicious warmed up. Overall I would highly recommend dinning at this establishment.

It’s been almost five years since I’ve eaten at bb’s and I wondered why I hadn’t been back sooner. Had the pleasure of sampling some appetizers last night and happy to report that they were spot on. The duck wontons is a beautiful layer of deconstructed wontons drizzled with a delicious sweet yet savory sauce. The jambalaya pizza is something I never knew I needed in my life. Beautifully cooked shrimp atop a layer of cheese, with sausage and chicken hidden underneath. Man why haven’t I thought of this earlier?! But the star? The bread pudding. This is hands down one of the best deserts I’ve ever eaten in my life. I cannot wait to go back!

First date our with my fiance after having a baby. Food looked and tasted really good. Staff super nice. Food a little pricey but worth it. Interesting thing dessert varies so menu always changes. I guess we will come back to try new ones lol.

First time going to this restaurant. Waitress Kelsey wasted water on my wife, me and my phone. She was very apologetic and very sincere. She was new and everyone was new at something at a point in life. She turned out to be the best Waitress we ever had. The owner Jonas is a very honorable guy offered to have my phone replaced and gave me his contact information. Now to the food. Awesome!! Calamari was the best. Now cooked hard all the way. The inside was soft and tender with a unique flavor. .I had the salmon Benedict which I ate separately and together with Ingredients . Each bite was a treat to my mouth. TLC is what the chefs have when preparing your food. I say chefs not cooks. Big difference you will see in the food. This place comes highly recommended on my list. Make reservations . Ask about martini ,wine night and happy hour. This is the place to come for special occasions or just want some special time.

Major props to this chef and kitchen staff. Our food was interesting, delicious, and well priced given the exquisite taste. We don’t live here and I don’t know when we will be able to make it back. So….. can y’all go and report back so we can live vicariously? Seriously, if this gem existed in Raleigh we would eat here at least one a week. Icing on the cake….Mondays are half priced wine night. What???!!! All in all, we had a perfect experience here and am pretty sure everyone else will too. Cheers!

This is in my top 5 of best meals I have ever had. The service was great and the food is top notch from start to finish. They start you with crusty table side bread and sweet butter, and it goes up from there. We had trouble deciding and our server was so accommodating! Ended up with the white truffle pizza (otherworldly) and the fish BLT where we added a side of the pan Asian chop salad. EVERYTHING was to die for. I love food and don’t usually fawn over things I eat, but I still can’t shut up about how delicious this meal was. Highly recommend and the atmosphere is incredible too! We were too full for dessert, but their case of cakes looked amazing.

We went to BB’s for our Anniversary dinner tonight and it was the best food I’ve had in years! My husband had the best salmon I’ve ever tasted and my scallops were so plump and tender! The Shrimp lollipops for the starter was the perfect blend of sauces! The server was attentive and professional. We were too full for dessert, but took the Oreo mousse in a to go box. The only thing disappointing about the night, is that we didn’t order TWO slices of Oreo mousse. Highly recommend!

The venue was a nice setting. The restaurant was warm - AC may not have been working. The food was good but, not great. Dessert was my favorite. Not sure if I would go back or recommend.

Stopped in to pick up some cake and wow ! Ganache and Peanut Butter Cake were both so amazing! The pieces are large enough to share. We ordered two appetizers, the crab cakes and the shrimp lollipops, both were excellent. For entrees were had the salmon and the pork loin. Both were well prepared and delicious.

My fiance and I ate here a couple of nights ago while on vacation and we were so happy with the overall experience!! The food was incredible. We had the cheese stuffed bruschetta, calamari caesar salad, the jambalaya pizza, and the ancho spiced rotisserie turkey sandwich. Each and every single dish was so flavorful! The restaurant itself was clean, and the decor was beautiful.

Conveniently located on the corner of Prudential Dr and Hendricks. BeBe’s is the perfect place for luncheons. Of course the food is always perfect. Anything on the menu is great. My only suggestion is that breakfast is served everyday and not just Saturday.

One of my favorite locations for tasty American food. Food with real quality ingredients. Really nothing but enjoyable experiences here, I'll be back. Prices are appropriate for the quality. Ambience reminds me of San Diego's scene.

We met some friends who were traveling through town and I looked for something close to there hotel. BB's was right next door to their hotel and was highly rated on google. It had a good mix of food on the menu. We had 2 apps and then all 6 of us had a different entree and all were very good.

Service was very good. They were nice enough to let me have a patio table while I dined solo. I tried the crab Benedict and loved it. It’s only one crab cake, but it’s huge! It was also a welcome change to have a Benedict over chickpeas and veggies instead of fried potatoes and/or an English muffin.

Early Sunday dinner. It was not crowded and the tables were not too close together. The food was delicious. Fried green tomato appetizer with bacon jam was great. The flounder and lobster in lobster/fennel broth with potatoes and carrots was amazing. Too full to eat dessert, so took cake home to enjoy later. Thanks Chef Tito. Mark was on point as server and took great care of us.

Really like this place, especially when it is not too busy. The duck wonton appetizer is fabulous! The peanut butter mouse pie/cake is also delicious if you like peanut butter. The only thing that could make it better is if the acoustics were better...when the place is full you cannot hear the person next to you. Went last night though and it was not real busy and everything was great!!

Just in town for business, enjoyed every bite from the delicious crab cakes to the fried green tomatoes. We ordered the bistro steak and jambalaya pizza as our main courses. Great presentation and flavor. Thank you to our server Kate for excellent service as well detailing every single dessert available in the display case.. Thank you to the local Lori for the recommendation. Will have to come back and try the lollipops.

Outstanding meal before the show. I wasn't too crazy about the bruschetta app (I could do without the bread), but everything else was amazing. Pork tenderloin was fabulous. The best I've ever had. Ever! Our waitress was great. She even split our plates!

I really love BB's for the atmosphere, the food, the service, and most especially the DESSERTS. It is at the higher end of most people's price range, but it makes for a really lovely date night or celebratory dinner. I brought my parents here when they were visiting from out of town. The food was awesome and the dessert was spectacular! (We had already started eating cake before I thought to take photos)

This is a very quaint small establishment. The ambience is OK. The way it’s designed is nice. . The food Came out pretty quick. Our waitress was very knowledgeable. Gave great suggestions. Very attentive I ordered pork chops. It was 3 1/2 out of five. I would return. The drinks are a bit pricey we ended up spending 140$ on our meal and drinks. We went on a Saturday afternoon when we got in. It was empty, but filled up really quick. I noticed that people were coming and picking up orders so you can call in and do carry out.

This is a really nice restaurant. It has a very intimate feel. Great place for a date. And the surf and turf was amazing! That was one of the best ribeyes I ever ate. It comes with shrimp, vegetables, and mashed potatoes. The flavor palate is off the charts. If you're looking for a steak in Jacksonville I'm not sure if you could find a better one.

It's worth a trip to Jacksonville solely to eat at bb's. Seriously, I'm trying to find excuses to go back just because our experience here was so good. We had late night dinner reservations following a comedy show in early December. Everything from the atmosphere to the service to the food was impeccable. I was particularly taken with the calamari on my caesar salad, which had a delicious crust on it that tasted of curry. The portions were huge and we had leftovers, but still had to try bb's famous dessert. So our server led us over to the cakes, where another member of the staff aided us for the ten minutes it took to decide on just one of the many mouth-watering options. Definitely going to come back to try the others! It was one of those dining experiences that we still talk about wistfully. I wish I remembered our server's name because she was really wonderful.

What a great meal! Large wine selection, very nice smokey old fashioned, and the meals were outstanding! Highly recommend the pork shank osso bucco. It was delicious. And we saved room for a slice of chocolate peppermint cake - a seasonal special. (OK, we had to take most of that dessert with us.). I hope to return someday! Make reservations!

Wow Wow Wow Wow Wow!! I can’t believe this was my first time here. Spectacular food and service. Thank you Adriene for doing an awesome job! I would have never considered the bread pudding had it not been for your fabulous description. What an explosion 💥 of amazing flavors. I can’t wait to come back and try more creations😘 My husband and I shared the duck wontons, a truffle pizza and the bread pudding.

I had an absolutely wonderful dinner and experience at Bb’s. The atmosphere is modern and chic, with indoor and outdoor dining options. The duck wontons were fantastic: crispy wonton, tender duck, and fabulous Boursin cheese and sauces accompaniment. Brussel sprout appetizer is a must! The slightly charred sprouts with the peanuts and sauce is a fantastic mix.The filet was tender and cooked perfectly. Oreo mousse cake was rich, and delicious. The cocktail and wine selection was extensive and the bar had a great selection of liquor. I very much recommend this place. Dress code is business casual or upscale. Jordan was a wonderful and attentive server as well.

Always a great place to have lunch or dinner! We just went for dessert and coffee. We tried something new, I believe it was the salted caramel mocha cake and a Boston cream eclair cake? Both were good but the salted caramel mocha was by far the favorite!

My girlfriend got me introduced to BBs. They do a great a job. The wine list quality. They make regular changes and Jonas knows what he doing. Great pallet. The bar tenders make awesome drinks. The food matches the quality of the wine / drinks. The deserts are worldly.

I had heard great things about this place and decided to give it a try. Happened to be in the area so we stopped there for lunch. It’s a nice little place, and it wasn’t easy to find parking during rush hour. I have to say the food was really good, and so was the service. The place itself though, nothing extraordinary. They can do a little better job maintaining the restrooms clean too. Not exactly what you expect on a nice restaurant. Overall though, it’s a nice place. Will have to go try some of their dinner dishes. Like I said, the food quality seemed pretty good.

Love BB's! I've passed this place hundreds of times, and I am disappointed it took me so long to check it out. I've now been twice in 3 weeks or so, and it's my new favorite place. They have a great wine list and full bar (half off bottles of wine on Mondays!) Everything I've tried is fantastic! We had their duck confit (amazing), white truffle pizza (which is vegan but we added chicken), their pork tenderloin and several desserts. All so good!

For nearly twenty years bb's has been serving excellent food and drink with superb service! From the opening party to a recent off-hour bb's has never failed to be anything but a world class bistro. The standards and specials are crafted with the finest ingredients, expertly prepared and served. The deserts are not to be overlooked, at least share something. Our waiter, Micah, exemplified the quality of staff with his knowledge of food, demeanor, and professionalism. You will not be disappointed.

I have bb's brunch every Saturday and dinner a few times per month. They have weekly dinner specials, half price martini's on Wednesday after 5, and a full bar. Appetizers are sized for sharing, or would make a good sized meal. Lunch - the bistro steak sandwich and dinner is a toss up between the beef duo, pork trio and duck breast. My dessert go-to is the croissant bread pudding (or when they have it) the French silk pie with Illy coffee of course. Favorite servers are Kate, Bo and Briana. Staff are experienced, attentive and friendly without being intrusive.

Food was good, deserts were excellent. Drinks lacking. Extensive wine list, nothing great by the glass. My wife's cocktails were ok.

I haven't been there in over a year and bb's did not disappoint. Fresh flowers. Great specials. Most importantly, the duck wontons are still on the menu and they are still to die for.

I have enjoyed this restaurant since it opened and have eaten there dozens of times but I will reconsider the choice in the future. We arrived around 8 this past Saturday night and were told we would have a 10-15 minute wait for a seat even though there was clearly a 4 top waiting for a paying customer. After about 10 minutes several other tables emptied and the hostess asked where we would like to seat. We chose the table which was open when we walked in the door. After some time a server finally showed up and took a drink order which took 15 minutes to arrive at our table. We were going to a later event so I put in an order for an appetizer. Once I realized how slow the service was going to be I went ahead and put in the dinner order when the drinks finally arrived. We finished the appetizer and when the server came to clear the table I said, " We are going to order wine for our dinner so maybe it will come at the same time as dinner. And by the way, is dinner coming soon ?"c About 5 minutes later the server came back not with food but with an apology saying he forgot to enter our dinner order. I told him we had tickets for an event up the street at 9 and he said he would put a rush on the order. It was now 9 and we had been there for an hour and were only served an appetizer. At 9:15 he finally brought our dinner and my friend found her duck lasagna was cold in the middle. My fish was hot but all of the sides were room temperature. I ate mine because I was really hungry but my friend sent hers back and did not want a replacement. A manager came over and apoligized for the poor experience and took the one meal off the tab and gave us a gift certificate for the exact same dish. We graciously accepted the certificate but we would have much preferred a good meal and experience. We do not go out to eat to collect free meals. It appears this restaurant is riding on their past reputation and is suffering badly from poor management. They will probably not need to worry about us showing back up to redeem the certificate.

This was my first time trying this place out and I absolutely love this place. Food was delicious, staff super friendly and the atmosphere was terrific. They have a wonderful variety of desserts and had something for all of us. The German Chocolate Cake was my favorite.

We really enjoyed our Sunday lunch. The service was great, a little long waiting time but it’s worth it. The food was tasty and fresh, loved the variety on the menu , we are so full so have to take the desserts for to go . But sure did enjoy and will be back to try other items on the menu. Btw crab cakes and fingerling potatoes were amazing - try them out

I had the scallops, which were delicious, tender, and perfectly cooked. The fondant potatoes were full of flavor and tender. I also tried the bread pudding, which is delicious paired with the ice cream. The rum cake is on the sweeter side, and was a little too sweet for me, but really flavorful. Also, last but definitely not least, the service was above and beyond. Our waitress was super attentive and totally on top of everything. She really made dining a pleasant experience.

My son took me here for dessert after a Mother's Day dinner elsewhere. He thought I would like the atmosphere and dessert selection, and he was spot on! Very nice atmosphere, soft lighting, rich colors and our waitress was friendly and very personable. I got a slice of carrot cake and he got cheesecake, both were outstanding! I highly recommend a visit!

Fantastic. Lively setting and crowd on a Saturday night. I had the Salmon & Tuna Tartare to start. The salmon and tuna were served chopped on top of grill pinapple rings. Onions and sesame oil completed the tasty combination. My main course was Whole Red Snapper. This was served over Orzo and veggies. Absolutely cooked to perfection. Highly recommended.

Service was a bit slow. Atmosphere is ok, a little small. Appetizers were good, salmon wantons, salmon dip and crab cakes. The warm pecan rum cake served with vanilla ice cream was so delicious and a MUST try!

Yesterday I got the sweetest surprise! My hubby took the day off to throw me a summer birthday! My birthday is on December 14th, and I've always joked about moving it to June 14th. Unfortunately, last year we lost my best friend of 47 years two days before my birthday. So, we skipped my birthday because getting out of bed was even a challenge. 💔 Imagine my surprise yesterday when he threw me a summer birthday! Of course, he made reservations at my favorite restaurant BB's! The food, drinks, atmosphere and service were all amazing! I was so happy to get our favorite server, Sara. She's so great! I learned something new... did you know Wednesdays are half price martinis, all day??? I can't believe I didn't know that! We got there right in time to get one round of happy hour drinks and let me just say that salmon dip for $8 during happy hour is da bomb!!! It's the best salmon dip in town! 😋 My hubby got the scallops and it was crazy how many came with the order, and they were huge! It was such a wonderful dining experience and the best surprise right in the middle of the week. Now, I'm such a spoiled brat, I want two birthdays every year! 🤣😂🤣 If you've never been to BB's or haven't been lately, you're missing out! I highly recommend the Salted Caramel Mocha cake, the cheese board and that salmon dip is crazy good!

Enjoyed a fabulous dinner last night. The food was so delicious and the cakes are to die for. We had reservations, but it definitely was packed. When making the reservation, I noted it was my boyfriends birthday celebration and me passing the bar but mainly his thing. They did a great job decorating his cake and surprising him. I wish I remember our waitress’ name… but she was amazing. She tended to our table well and was very kind. She even wrote a note on our to go box when she packed up our left overs. We hope to come again soon!

We are visiting Jacksonville for a wedding and stumbled upon this place our first night. The food, atmosphere and service was absolutely wonderful. The truffle pizza stole the show. It was one of the best tasting pizzas we’ve had. Highly recommend stopping here if you’re in the area.
