Ok place for the craft beer, but not the food. No table service here, you order and pay at the bar. The bar is open to the outside with garage door windows. Although it was a rainy day, it was very warm inside and didn't seem to have much ventilation other than a few fans. We had our son with us, and ordered a water for him. The glass was very dirty...stained brown at the bottom. Portions are small for both food and beer. Expect more bar-bite sized portions when you order. Although the food is "made from scratch", it was underwhelming for what we ordered. The fries were tasty, but that was about it. It's a better place for those who are into casual bars and craft beer.

Man what an awesome place! The food was excellent the staff was awesome and played a little chess with the bartender while we hung out. The selection of beers is immense and the bartender really knows his beers. The ambiance is great. Definitely recommend this place to anyone who is in the area.

After this weeks sister spa outing, my sister picks this spot for a quick bite and drinks. You order and pay, then grab a seat anywhere you wish. I was a little taken back when the bar back collected my menu WHILE I was still trying to decide what to order 😕 but I didn’t let that sway me. I simply pulled out my phone and hovered over the convenient menu sticker on the table. The food servings DO NOT meet what one would expect for the asking price, so if a meal that will satisfy a hungry stomach is what you are looking for, this will not be the spot for you. This is a very nice social spot for drinks. They brew a selection of hops on location which is a great conversation starter for any enthusiast. If you are looking for a pretty awesome Happy Hour hangout or place to simply meet someone to Break The Ice, both you and your wallet won’t be disappointed.

Service was quick despite a big crowd. So many beer selections to choose from... my friends enjoyed the hard cider too. It's a hopping good time. Great.location on Southside.

Great selection of brews, I loved the orange creamsicle ale and the pina colada ale! However there was only one employee running the place on a Saturday evening. Management needs to look after their employees so one isn’t taking on all the stress of getting the food out and putting drinks out at the bar

This was the weirdest experience. And my first time here. Went in today around 5:00. I sat at a table for a bout 10-15 minutes. There was only 1 other person in the whole restaurant sitting at the bar. We were definitely hungry so I went up to the bar and the bartender said that it’s bar service only and there isn’t service at the tables. I ordered my beer and asked for a menu. I asked the bartender if someone will be taking our order. She said no. We had a beer and went to seven bridges. How is this place in business with one other customer in the whole restaurant and literally no service? I had family In town and embarrassed that I recommend this place. Oh and the one beer I wanted was out. Awesome.

Wide selection of taps in a casual environment. Beers trend on the milder side but well worth it, especially good representation of fruity beers and sours, with a good selection of guest taps also.

Just had beer-had great selection of beers. House made fries apparently but we did not eat here. Friendly staff and was dog friendly on the outdoor covered patio. Great place

Fortunately, some of the other breweries we planned to visit were closed since it was a Monday, so I went online and found this one. I see why it was one of the top rated breweries in Jacksonville. I enjoyed a flight of beer including a nice rum barrel aged Imperial Stout and their version of a pumpkin beer. Their swamp fries were a meal in itself. I highly recommend this and will stop

Came here for a soccer match and had a really great time. I’d asked for my burger to be cooked rare but it came out well done. Surprising it didn’t taste like shoe leather so I didn’t complain. The fries were tasty too. I have a feeling they aren’t cooking fresh food here, so be warned that it’s not homemade restaurant style stuff. But I enjoyed it just the same. I had the Triple Berry Jam Cider and loved it. Delicious, sweet and fruity. Great staff who were friendly to me and to all of the other patrons. I’ll be back.

This is related strictly to the Trivia Night on Tuesdays. We went there because we were told turnout was small and they would like new teams. I know why it was small. The trivia is Jax Fast Trivia, with an emphasis on the fast part. The announcer made us all think he was going to break out into an auctioneer's chant at any point and try to sell us a cow or something. This was rapid fire, overly loud, and poorly written trivia. The questions were no better than the delivery, with most of them being too convoluted. There are better trivia options around. All that aside, Bottlenose as a brewery and restaurant are excellent. Matt, the owner, has worked hard and it shows. The brews are good, the place is clean, and the service is stellar. You won't go wrong with a trip to check them out, just don't expect too much from the trivia.

Whenever I visit Jacksonville, I always make a point to go to Bottlenose. The customers, staff and bartenders are always very friendly and make you feel welcome. Charli is the best and of course my favorite!! The food and drinks are great! I like plying the games and interacting with everyone! I always have the best time and always look forward to going back! Definitely recommend 💯

Wide range of onsite brewed beers. I sampled a few of them and all were good. Tasty burgers. Quiet place so it’s nice to come with friends to chat.

This isn't my favorite brewery in town but I still really like it here. They always have a good selection and variety of beers on tap so there's a little bit of something for everyone. I have a diverse group of beer drinking friends and everyone can find something they like here. They have a good amount of IPAs, stouts, sours, and some easy to drink beers. If you're a fan of coffee beers like me, make sure you try their current coffee flavored brew on tap because they rotate it frequently but have never disappointed me. They're suddenly carrying quite a few non-alcoholic brews on tap too so if you're looking for something like that this is a good place. I would definitely suggest getting a flight (they are reasonably priced too) to start if you're not sure of what to drink. It's a nice place to just go and chill with friends. Perfect for catching up and having a pseudo-early night. They have board games available and a pinball machine. Service is pretty good. The staff is friendly but they usually don't have many bartenders staffed (even on weekends) and they can sometimes get pretty slammed so bring your patience. A nice touch is that you're allowed to bring in outside food the hours that their kitchen is closed. So, during that time, you can grab some Mellow or even something from the fast food restaurants nearby to enjoy with your beer! Overall, a nice quiet brewery. If you haven't been here at least once, you really need to give it a try.

Fun place. Only one bartender though. Food was really subpar but it's a bar not a restaurant. Had the fried pickles, chicken tacos, and adult grilled cheese.

Chelsie is my girl! She turned my whole day around - the kindest and friendliest person who makes you feel at home. I had the BEST beer - Southside Haze! Of course recommended by Chelsie - on point! I will be back to see Chelsie and drink more amazing beer!

We love it for trivia nights. Great bear selection and the food is consistently good. I love their burger and they have great fries. The staff is great as well.

One of the best hidden gem in Jacksonville!! The beer is top tier and the environment is so welcoming and fun. Brian, the owner, treated us like family and I will 100% be back!!!

Great local brewery. Only con I have is we were out of town visitors and love to purchase pint glasses from breweries, they don't offer that. But they do have other cool merch! 👍 The food was amazing!

Went for an American Outlaw viewing of the USMNT v Holland. Great turn out. Service was slow but it was really crowded. Had tacos after which did the job. Nothing fancy. Beers were good

Saltiest hockey puck burger I’ve ever had. I’m literally awake at 3am because the sodium has brought me out of my slumber and is making my stomach burn with acid. Do not recommend eating here.

It's a simple place to grab a quick beer & bite. Nothing too special but really I was only there for not even 30 minutes. I'll come back another time, could change My review then.
