A trip to Riverside will never disappoint as it’s a cute old town. My girlfriend and I stopped in because her friend works there. This place is amazing! They have the main restaurant on the lower level that’s decorated perfectly. The roof top bar has a breathtaking view over the St John’s River. They two outside dining areas and a cute inside bar area. They have a limited menu on the rooftop which was my only disappointment so I’ll have to come back and try the main menu. The food was spectacular! There was so much flavor that we wanted to order more. I’ll definitely be back to take advantage of the main menu 💪🏽🔥

Service was excellent, ambiance enjoyable, and food was delicious (although a little on the salty side). I ordered the broiled seafood platter. Quantity was good for the moderate price. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. The offer a variety of foods on the menu, something for everyone. The tableside service was great as the server paid attention to our needs. They offer a full bar and the pour was generous. After dinner we enjoyed some nice river views and a cocktail from their rooftop outdoor lounge area. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

M3 and a friend went for dinner. We sat on the roof top. It was pretty full but we managed to get a couch. We had to damn near run a waitress down for service. 5he service is the reason I cant give them 5stars. Service was pretty poor but the food made up for it. I had the compressed watermelon salad and mushroom and spinach oven bread, with a glass of wine. My friend had stuffed mushrooms and Brooklyn finest oven bread with a gin and cranberry. The food was really yummy and different. I would go back again but ill be prepared for slow and poor service.

Came into Jacksonville for the Jaguar vs Giants game and was this place was recommended. Came here with the fellas and this place did not disappoint l. Absolutely gorgeous location and and roof top bar was dope as hell. We walked in and was greeted by a great staff. Once we got seated, we were met with a great young waitress (Lauren) as well as her trainee. The best part was Lauren promised that she was going to finish her shift strong and she did come up clutch. I started with appetizers and got calamari and a crab cake for the table.. Man that stuff was delicious. I finished my food quest with a simple R&P burger and that was so on point and the fries were great. For my friends, they ordered Fried chicken thighs, fried shrimp and a ribeye steak. I didn't get to taste them all but they sure looked delicious. I got a bite of the chicken thighs but they couldn't stop ranting and raving about their food. All in all, we enjoyed everything we experienced and River & Post and highly suggest folks come out here for a bite, drinks and music.

We had cocktails on the rooftop bar. We arrived around 6:30PM on a Tuesday and there were a few tables free. The waitress was very nice and helpful and even had some drinks made for us which were not on the menu. The view from up there is amazing. Looking forward to my next visit.

What an amazing place the ambience is breathtaking. The food is so yummy. The service was on point and so perfect. So you make a reservation to sit at the restaurant and eat till you're full. The drinks are well worth it. Our server was knowledgeable. Now once you're done and ready for dessert go upstairs and the only problem is that it is first come first serve. The sofas do have a fire pit.

Restaurant is phenomenal located in historical district of riverside along river with amazing upscale dishes. I ordered this last time blackened sea bass and was amazing. Rooftop lounge with stunning views and live music sets this place apart from so many. Highly recommend.

Went here for our anniversary. The location is prime. Food came out fresh and delicious. Service was quick. It was pretty dead on a weekday at 5pm. I’d love to come back and try other dishes. We went simple this time. Dessert wasn’t that great, was expecting more in that area.

Stopped by for brunch before heading over to the Cummer museum, the most convenient spot to go to aside from the museum cafe. The staff was friendly and helpful, the food did take a while to arrive but was well worth it. Ordered the eggs Benedict with cured salmon on top, delicious! Prices were reasonable for a spot like this. Didn't have a chance to check out the rooftop, will have to do it next time!

First visit here with friends from Maryland. We went for brunch. All the food was amazing! We sat outside. There was a young lady singing that had the vibes of the artist Jewel. Music was definitely a plus. Parking was good.

Events & link ups here are so lovely. They have an attentive staff. The rooftop vibe is phenomenal. Drinks & small bites are nice. I will definitely be returning to host more and share.

There is a nice place for outdoor dining which I love. The indoor space is very pretty and cozy and they have a nice bar area. We went for lunch It was relatively quiet on a Tuesday but the service was excellent which was a relief because sometimes in some places when it is slow the service is slack….I don’t think that would happen here. I had the portobello burger which was so delicious and there were so many delicious fries! My daughter had the rock shrimp, the portion was meant to share as an appetizer because it was huge however she ordered as her main meal. I definitely want to return for diner as the menu looked delicious and I would love to have some fresh fish!

The restaurant is beautiful. We really wanted to sit on the rooftop but there was absolutely no seating available and it was extremely loud. I really wish there were tables up there to enjoy a nice dinner. Still beautiful view. We sat on the first floor and initially our server Antonio greeted us with such enthusiasm. He was very friendly but it was quickly apparent that he wasn’t a very seasoned employee. He didn’t know the menu very well at all we actually had to stop him and ask that he took our dinner order. We took our daughter and grandson out and he literally asked us three times if it was all on one check. That to me, is an odd thing to ask. Our drinks stayed empty for a long time and we had to ask for more water. My daughter had a special request for her dinner and it was thoroughly explained and he said it was “simple” but it didn’t come out as requested. When he gave us the check he said he didn’t charge us for one of the sides as if he was doing us a favor. The appetizers were very good - I recommend the goat cheese balls for sure. My salmon was delicious and my husband got the crab cakes - which he said he would not have had again. It was a beautiful establishment and good food - I just think our server could benefit from being more attentive and learning the menu - he was incredibly friendly though.

We were visiting from out of town. During our stay in Jacksonville we choose to eat at River & Post . The food was great, great flavors. We really enjoyed the appetizer Crab cake. The flavors of the dishes were delicious. We didn't experience the rooftop but the ambiance was great downstairs. We enjoyed ourselves. Great menu and atmosphere! Loved coming here for the oysters. They're amazing. Unfortunately, the food lacks consistency when it comes to flavor and temperature. Entrees often come to the table cold. It hard eating a supposed to be hot entree, cold. The general manager isn't the nicest guy either. He was pretty condescending when bringing these issues to his attention. He literally took our cold order of oysters and reheated them then brought it back to us. Talk about cross contamination! He refused to make it over for us completely because he said he didn't want to waste food. That was the straw for us. We won't be returning. This experience was a deal breaker for sure. Can't believe he's the general manager. Need to learn how to provide better customer service and become a little more sincere when communicating with guests who are spending their money at your establishment.

We had a great time here yesterday! The food was fantastic and the drinks were well done. The staff was fast and friendly and even bantered back and forth with us making the experience that much more enjoyable!

Roof top bars are always fun. Great place to get some appetizers and some cocktails. It’s a little pricey but what isn’t now a days. Great views and vibes. Has a lot of live music going on and it’s kind of small. First Come first serve. Gotta get lucky and get table when someone gets up

We ate outside on the patio for brunch. The Mimosas were delicious and the food Divine. Pictured is the mouthwatering French Toast and Candied Bacon- Best bacon I ever had. Our server was so attentive and kind. Definitely will be back again.

Just seemed like more sizzle than substance but that may have been what we ordered. Probably would have been better off with the shrimp and grits! Pretty dazzling presentation of a ceviche that just wasn't as flavorful as I've had. The lobster roll was more like a lobster salad bun. Not a lot of lobster flavor even though there seem to be plenty of lobster. I really could give four stars just for the room and the overall vibe. Impressive coming in and seeing the fish. The atmosphere is very nice and the staff were attentive and polite. But in the end it's the food that has to deliver. I would certainly give it another chance and not order a sandwich.

Nice location, atmosphere was nice for a date night, took a while to be seated and get drinks but food came out at a reasonable time; the fish wasn't as crunchy as pictured (catch fried plate) but fries and hush puppies were great and Burger was huge!!! bang bang shrimp and calamari was a nice serving and delicious.. but be cautious of the tartar sauce if you dont like dill/lemon in it

Food was so good! Service was just ok. Our server was very dry and abrupt. But that didn't stop our merriment and the atmosphere was amazing.

Excellent on the roof top. Must try the restaurant . Staff very friendly. Snack food and drinks come out fast. A little breezy and chilly but fireplace and heat lanterns help

A waiter at a hotel's restaurant recommended this restaurant. He said it was the best in town. I didn't believe him, but I had to find out. We were in town for a concert so we really didn't have much time to enjoy. Also, it was drizzling, so we could not indulge ourselves on the rooftop. We visited around 5 pm, the place wasn't filled at all. We were seated almost immediately upon entering the restaurant. We informed the waiter that we had plans. He made sure to get our orders in quickly. I tried the fried goat cheese, crab cake and the Chef's special (Halibut). Our entire party enjoyed our dishes. We also loved the Coquitos 😋. I can't say if it's the best in town, but it's darn good. I'll have to come back when I'm not in a rush and can enjoy the atmosphere.

Excellent food, family friendly dinning with several seating options both indoors and outdoors. Food options including several sea food options and nice steaks. For starters we ordered calamari which I highly recommend. Ribeye steak over mashed potatoes and a side of Gouda grits. Kids ordered buttered noodles which were a hit and shrimp and fries. Customer service was good a bit busy for a Saturday evening. Highly recommend.

Arrived at 5:00PM went to the Rooftop for cocktails and appetizers. The Rooftop has its own “food menu” and you cannot order from the regular menu which we knew before I am just letting you know that if you go. Drinks were a Blackberry Sidecar and Bourbon and Berries. The Sidecar was ok the B&B (my favorite) was spot on as always. Order the Blackberry BBQ wings (8) served with and the Stuffed Mushrooms (6). Wings were served a little warmer than room temperature but, not hot. They were very good served with ranch (blue cheese was not an option) and were very tasty finger lickin’ good! The Mushrooms were warmer and they too were tasty. Our server was Bristol she did a great job checking on us and making sure our needs were met. There was a couple that sat down behind us and after 15 minutes of seating there they left. We happened to be leaving, this couple rode the whole elevator down with us. I asked did they decide to eat in the restaurant (it was cool on 5/26/23) they said no one asked to help them. That did not affect our enjoyable time.

Rooftop lounge has an amazing view. Drinks were great. Casual atmosphere. Servers were attentive. Prices were reasonable for this level of food. Gouda grits were a unique find and were delicious.

Ginger waffles is a NO for me next time. The server made my coffee which was a first ever and it didn’t taste good so I asked her to bring the coffee I’ll mix it. Will visit again I normally have a great meal every time but the waffles are not a good choice for me. They taste like ginger just like they are called. Ginger waffles! No you can’t substitute because the vanilla waffles are made the same way with GINGER!

This was our first visit at the restaurant; we wanted to try something different for Christmas Eve. We received excellent service from the staff and the food was delicious. I only give four stars for the food because there were no poultry options on the menu that evening. Four stars for atmosphere because the dining area was a little crowded; not sure if it was because it was Christmas Eve, but the tables were very close together. Perhaps they were trying to accommodate more people for an evening…? If I had to change anything, maybe the distance between tables. Otherwise, very good experience. We will be going back in future.
