Enjoyed the Christmas pop up event. The drinks are good and strong. Bartenders aren't much for talkers whether they're busy or not but they make great drinks so no complaints. I was surprised to see them so busy with just liquor sales but they offer that too

I have to say I have never in 53 years of life seen such an inconsiderate and unprofessional group of people in my life. In the area for the festival of lights 5k run and a tornado warning is issued and severe thunderstorm is happening and the management actually made people get out of the atrium INTO THE SEVERE WEATHER AND LIGHTING stating that the alcohol needed to start being served. SO VISIT THIS PLACE AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION AS THEY OBVIOUSLY HAVE NO REGARDS FOR PERSONAL SAFETY it's all about the alcohol being served.. and to throw people out into the unsafe weather conditions is ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE

I visited the Grape and Grain Exchange for post-dinner drinks, and I must say it came highly recommended by the staff at the restaurant I previously ate dinner at, and it truly lived up to its reputation. The establishment boasts a captivating layout, with a fully stocked bar in the front adorned with an impressive display of liquors and wines along the walls, providing a unique and immersive experience for patrons. There is ample curbside seating available. Venturing further into the establishment, a corridor leads to another room, which can be aptly described as a lounge or club. This secondary space, which was dimly lit, created an intimate ambiance. Notably, the room features a stage, serving as a platform for live performances by bands, pianists, or DJs, depending on the evening's entertainment schedule. The overall atmosphere is undeniably cozy, offering a perfect setting to unwind and savor well-crafted beverages. The drinks themselves were expertly prepared, a testament to the establishment's commitment to quality. The lively and enjoyable vibe further adds to the overall appeal of the Grape and Grain Exchange. Without a doubt, my visit was a delightful experience, and I am eagerly looking forward to returning on my next trip to the area.

Very cool place with two distinct areas: the front casual well lit and the back a hip, dark, classier feel with live music. Bartenders here are superb, especially Faith! Just ask her to make you a drink, she will deliver.

What a cool vibe! Great bartenders as well. Parking can be a little challenging during the busy times.

All great if you ask me. Had a very pleasant experience here. Will definitely return again. Service was top notch. The drink I had was great couldn't ask for anything better. So I had the boss hog when I tell you this was a very smooth drink and with every sip of some water this whiskey changes flavors.

The aesthetic is the only pro for this place. I stood at the bar and waited over 20 minutes to be served. I watched the bartenders continue to pass me over for other people and even take the time to take shots with a group of girls. The place was not even that busy as there were multiple open spots at the bar. I ended up leaving. Thanks for a great experience. I was really looking forward to going.

Amazing cocktails by cool, friendly and very experienced bartenders. I like how they have varieties of liquor near the bar to look at and buy if you want with reasonable prices. Really chill atmosphere and at a really good location.

I usually have a great experience at this bar and love coming here with my friends/family. I was shocked at what I experienced a couple of days ago when a bartender grabbed my arm aggressively after assuming that I would spill my drink. For context, I was aware of my surroundings and the proximity of my arm to the drink. However, even if I was close to spilling the drink or if I did in fact spill it, this does not excuse that kind of behavior. It was completely unprofessional and uncalled for. On the other hand, a different bartender Flip, was extremely attentive and provided us with amazing service!

Super great experience. Their stock of wine and spirits is truly amazing and you can sit at the bar and try any of their regular or seasonal cocktails. If you are looking for that high-end product with friendly staff, checkout Grape and Grain Exchange in San Marco.

A friend took us here after an early dinner. What a fun higher energy place. They have a fantastic selection of bourbons, scotch and wine.

My boyfriend and I love this place! I go every year for their Christmas pop up bar and it’s worth the wait. They have a speak easy in the back that has a New York vibe to it. Sometimes you can catch live music as well!

I went during the Christmas time and it was Christmas themed and very cool. The themed drinks were delcious, and the atmosphere was great. They really put me in the Christmas spirit. :)

The Grape & Grain Speakeasy gives a secretive vibe. It is located behind the Grape & Grain Exchange. The Art Deco furniture, the chandler, and the jazz band all contribute to a vintage atmosphere. They also have a variety of interesting and tasty drinks. It was a wonderful spot to relax and catch up with friends. A must see.

The speak-easy vibe in the back and the live music is worth a trip back. I loved it. I was there on an open mic / Jazz night and was so impressed. I look forward to returning.

This was the first bar I went to when I moved to Jax. I went on a Tuesday and sat in their speakeasy that’s hidden behind a shelf in the bar. The atmosphere in the speakeasy is intimate and cozy with dimmed lighting and on Wednesdays they have live music. The atmosphere in the bar itself is a little louder and brighter. Being that the bar in narrow it can get packed quickly so if you’re not a fan of crowds I would avoid coming here on the weekends. Overall the drinks are great and the bartenders are friendly and professional.

Lovely atmosphere. Very kind people, good funk band, "Air Tight". Brandon the bartender made me a yummy drink called, "Saturn". It was a lovely evening for my stay in Jacksonville. Will be back for jazz. Lovely.

I really really really want to love this place, but it is so hard to find seating. I got lucky this time and found a seat at the bar. I wasn't drinking alcohol but ordered a $3 ginger beer and sat waiting on my friends. The bar gets crowded with people trying to order drinks, and in the front bar, there is hardly any walking space. The bartenders are very attentive, though and my ginger beer mocktail was amazing! I know it's not going to happen, but it would be so much more customer-friendly if they got rid of the lounging furniture and just added tables. I've been here more than 10 times, and this was the first time I was able to ever get a seat inside.

We came here for after dinner drinks on 12/21. It was cold and rainy but there was no waiting so it was nice. The inside was decorated for Christmas. Lights and ornaments everywhere. The seasonal drinks were also served in very cute glasses. The glasses are even for sale. We had a really good time and I really enjoyed the bar.

Attended the April Wine Tasting at Grape & Grain with my niece. Before I begin commenting, we both had a lovely time and met some nice people. We went thinking, because of how it was advertised, that we would gain insight on how different wines paired with different cheeses. That is not what happened. We tasted 5 different wines and during the course of the tasting heard interesting information about the different wines. Did we like all 5? No. But, it was more due to our palate than the wine. What did not happen was a cheese with each wine and why they paired well. We did get very small pieces of 3 different cheeses, a couple of crackers, and some almonds. Nothing was said about the cheeses. I asked a couple who we met there what they thought was to happen. They, too, thought it was how certain wines paired with various cheeses. Am I glad I went? Yes. It was a lovely evening, just not what I was expecting. Grape and Grain has a very nice atmosphere to sit and talk while enjoying an adult beverage. It is a gem in the San Marco area. My rating is due to how the event was portrayed and parking. Just be aware that the parking sucks big time!

My wife and I got married yesterday and wanted to celebrate at night with friends and family. I had called a week prior and spoke with FLIP. He was so courteous and customer service friendly which I have to say, was a joy to even meet in person. I called to see if we could reserve a booth in the back bar (the parlour). He had congratulated us, and said he would be more than happy to for our special day. Our favorite bar went above and beyond for us. Flip and the stablishment made our magical day even better for us into the night. It's always such a pleasure to visit. Until next time, cheers! TY FLIP! ❤️🤙

Great local spot to grab a fancy drink and something you won't see on your everyday drink menu. Excellent for showing friends and family a cool bar to go to. It's busy but worth the wait!

The bartender told us that he could serve us a gin drink that we'd like because we told him we didn't like gin. He made a couple different drinks and let us taste a citrus gin. Pretty good. I still don't like gin but it can be dressed up nicely.

Good chill place to hang out. I was here for about an hour on a Friday night in October '22. This place was busy. Not busy enough that you couldn't get in, but busy enough to to keep moving around mid conversation from the amount of people going in and coming out. Atmosphere has that chill vibe. Back room with the jazz was different from other venues. Definitely a must stop if you are around.

Grape and grain exchange is one of my favorite hang outs in San Marco. Some of the friendliest staff ever…. Their craft cocktails are delectable and if your looking to take a bottle home they have a fabulous selection in the store front. If you haven’t tried Grape and Grain Exchange in San Marco what are you waiting for?
