A great bar in Five Points. What is to love about this place? They support artists. The windows are always adorned with fringed artists. Inside there is a lending library and a zine library. Rain Dogs hosts a number of events throughout the month. There is the Old Time Jam session in the back. There is seating inside and out.

I normally have a fun and great time at rain dogs but the female manager was not very nice or attentive. I got my wrist band for 21+ for the show that was in the back, As I asked for a drink she re-asked me for my ID (not a biggie I look young I understand that) , I ask her what drinks does she have, each response she gave me was full of attitude and I just met this woman. I paid and tipped her ignoring her rudeness, but then I went back up again with a friend to which she holds her finger up to us insinuating for us to hold on as she TEXTED on her phone right in front of us for 30 secs and when she finally finished with whatever she was so caught up on her phone doing, she talks To us in a rude manor AGAIN, ( I don't understand why maybe she was having A bad night but she spoke that way the WHOLE NIGHT) it was so bad I didn't want to go up there again and went to a different bar where I was treated so much better. Needless to say not a good experience up at the bar, but great live music!

Horrible place that stereotypes. The DJ kept bumping our song when we were money spending customers. She was very rude and the customer service is awful. If you want to go and spend money to be treated horribly you’ve found your spot. Thanks for wasting our time and announcing over the speaker “we’re happy you’re leaving,” because we asked why we were being skipped in Karaoke.

Love this bar because you never feel unwelcomed. Love the live music (weekends in the back room), and art events that happen here. Highly recommend the comedy (Monday) and karaoke nights (Thursday&Saturday) There's never a boring night! Drink selection is fantastic and the art on the walls is always in rotation.

Great atmosphere. People of all races were there. I went to see the comedians showcase their talents. I laughed at some, n some I didn't laugh at all. I'd return each Monday around 10 pm for open Mic Comedy night.

Best place to go meet all sorts of awesome people! Got a karaoke set up the night I went to and it was awesome! Service was on point with the delivery of cold beverages! Didn't order food but heard need to def come back to try it! With the night I had there being a newbie, definitely going to return!

I had my first date here. 8 years later, we're still together. Been married for almost 6 years. Great place, great atmosphere.

I saw this on Google maps and decided to try it out. It was a Friday night and figured it would be busy. The main part was not. But the secret club in the back was very lively. I do recommend this bar. Especially the hidden gem in the back.

Now serving coffee at 7am. I highly recommend the German chocolate coffee or the honeycomb. They also have pastries

My friends and I visited Jacksonville from the UK in October and after two visits to Rain Dogs we were delighted. We were treated like regulars by the end of the weekend, had a new drink created in our honour and had the best time with the locals. 100% will visit again if we're ever back in Duval County.

Great place to meet kind and unique people. If you’re looking for a chill, nonjudgemental crowd this is a good place to start

Laila is 🔥. The drinks and atmosphere is 10000% perfy. They have a piano and I'm pretty sure that you can it, bc I played it and it was dope. Thanks for everything,

Super cool bar in like this 5 points/downtown area of Jacksonville. Very cool vibes in there with a cool little concert room in the back of the place. For bands or musicians: As a band (I was playing there with my band, Garotte), I will say that the parking/load-in situation leaves a little to be desired but that's not inherently Rain Dogs fault they are doing the best they can with the little space they have.

Attended a weekend event here and all the staff were so nice! Loved having different settings to enjoy from the patio to the back! Will definitely be returning when I'm in Jax!

Just went to rain dogs unaware of the time they open and a taller women there just told me they were still closed which was fine but then presumed to get obnoxious as I asked when they open. I had to repeat myself for her to hear me because she was trying not to listen. I have rarely heard bad things about this place but that employee needs an attitude adjustment. Rude employees turn off for locals. sounds really bad and should probably be worked on.

Never been here before, I'm front outta town. We initially were going to another place but when we heard the music and went inside we were more than happy. The atmosphere was very nice and the crowd was very friendly. Will be back

I was traveling alone and checked this bar out. Great beer on tap, positive mix of music and a very friendly vibe. I played n64 games. The bartender went out of his way to make sure I felt comfortable and safe. I will return.

Don't sleep on Thurs. Karaoke! Ms. Howard runs an excellent program. The KBBQ Sandwich is subpar and salty, but who cares when you're rollicked off of DRAGON'S MILK STOUT in a PROPRIETARY glass. I love Raindogs. 10/10

Cody created a great new menu. We had the buffalo chicken sandwich and fries tonight during open mic. I haven't been to Rain Dogs in years because I live at the beach and am one of those beach locals that never crosses "The Ditch", but open mic, the atmosphere, and food were great!

Sometimes I feel joy when I'm there and other times I feel like an invisiline for barstools. This place is magical. They keep me coming back for more.
