We went to celebrate a baby shower so it was a larger group. We had a reservation and were allowed to set up before they "officially" opened which was a huge help! Service was great. Food was okay. No sodas, there are teas, lemonades, coffee/espressos, and an alcohol/cocktail selection. This is a more-so health conscious place in what they offer. Average to smaller portion sizes, depending on what you get. I had the lasagna bolognese and it was flavorful but not what I was expecting.

True food kitchen is a great and healthy spot in the St. John’s town center. The pizza was fantastic. Highly recommend. Staff was friendly. Will definitely be going back. Only comment is that it’s a bit pricey for some of their drink options for what it is.

My wife and I didn't have a reservation and went to the bar. It was a great experience. The food took a bit of time to come out and my wife's did come out before mine but overall it was great. Ended up getting a drink and the recommendations of the bar keeper which was spot on. Everything was amazing and I loved how much amazing vegan and vegetarian options were available. Will definitely be back. So far the best restaurant I've been to in Jacksonville.

I'm not vegan, however True food Kitchen is so good that it can easily make you want to turn vegan! This place is classy , elegant, and delicious. The service is wonderful and the drinks are delicious. I had the teriyaki bowl and the flavors were paired perfectly. If you're looking for a ladies date , this is the place to go!

We hosted a bridal shower brunch here this weekend and it was perfect! Jordan, who helped us coordinate the event was so easy and kind to work with. Our server Lulu was awesome- she was there whenever you needed something. The food was phenomenal, everyone was raving how fresh and delicious their meal was. Would highly recommend for a meal or to host an event/shower.

True Food is one of my favorite places to eat at the Town Center. The menu selection is unique and healthy. I’ve enjoyed every item I’ve had. The burger is one of my favorites. Sweet potatoes are a good side item. Coffee is fantastic. If you want something healthy, look no further.

I was blown away how lovely the inside is!! I was looking for somewhere healthy and filling to eat, and this place exceeded all expectations. All menu it's were conveniently labeled so I knew which ones were vegan. Ordered both the Edamame Guacamole and the Charred Cauliflower to start. The guac was OK, but the Cauliflower was so saucy and flavorful!! The ancient grains bowl was delicious, just needed some more sauce. And the strawberry mojito I had was the perfect palate cleanser!! Beautiful decor, great service, definitely going back.

Always great vegetarian and vegan food here. It’s also very flavorful. You can’t go wrong with whatever you choose. The cocktails are a little weak though. It’s a great place to bring kids if you want them to have a healthy meal.

This place is a complete joke. To charge what they charge and serve what I received in my to go order today is just wrong. I ordered the grass fed beef burger. I did not remove any toppings from my order but what I received was maybe one piece of mushroom on top and 2 slithers of caramelized onion. They also forgot the sauce. So 2 dry buns. The patty itself was terrible , had a strange taste and texture to it. It was super pink even though it was meant to be medium well. The side (sweet potato hash) was literal scrappings and hardly a “side”. I paid $19.50 for this. It went in the garbage and with It my appetite. This place is unacceptable and should really consider lowering the prices if this is the kind of service you provide.

A great unique restaurant where you’ll feel good afterwards. Atmosphere: We ate outdoors and it was great, nice cool breeze during this time and day so we enjoyed it. They could add a subtle background music but they didn’t even with outdoor speakers. The volume was low, maybe because it wasn’t too busy around the time. Service: It was great, we came on a Sunday afternoon, not too busy and since we had a pet they made outdoor accommodations with a short wait time. The host and server were great as well, provided for our needs at any given moment. Food: We ordered several things but I would recommend getting the roasted Brussel Sprouts, Roasted Acorn Squash Flatbread and herb hummus, all were delicious. I ordered a margarita pizza which was filling hut didn’t feel bloated afterwards either so that was great. My wife and others ordered a grilled chicken avocado wrap which was okay, definitely missing the hot grilled chicken since it was cold and maybe also a sauce that would complete it. Verdict: If you want a healthy spot to eat, you’ll enjoy this place, if you’re looking to get full and bloated, try another restaurant. This place is definitely somewhere I would come again and try other entrees in the future the next time I visit.

What an amazing and generous restaurant. We were celebrating National Assisted Living Week and needed lunch for the staff. Chef Mike and his crew was there to save the day. A surprise we learned that they would cater our luncheon at no cost to us. The food was amazing. The hash was made with sweet potatoes instead of regular potatoes. A change to what I’m used to but a good change. Oh and let me tell you about the lasagna. One of my favorite foods of all times. This lasagna did not disappoint. During and after lunch everybody was talking about True Food Kitchen. It will truly be on our catering list for future events. Thank You again Chef Mike and your crew for the amazing experience and lunch. You have some returning customers headed your way. True Food Kitchen I wish I could give them more than 5 stars they deserve it. True Food Kitchen giving back to the community. Thank you from all of us at Anthem Lakes Waterfront Senior Living Community.

This is absolutely one of my favorite restaurants! The food is fresh, organic and they have fabulous plant based meals. You won't find another place as unique as this one for excellent vegan options. The chop salad 🥗 is my absolute favorite! Just tell them not to skimp on the toppings. I see why Oprah endorses them. 👍

I can honestly say I’ve never tasted so much salt in one small dish. I ordered the noodles with chicken which was $23 and I had to force myself to keep eating, with each bite I kept wondering how high my blood pressure will go up. Soy sauce was the first taste in each bite.

This place is pretty much my go to when I want something fresh, healthy, and within the realm of my dietary restrictions. It helps that their menu changes, so I don't get burnt out on the same items I know i can eat. I even really enjoy their alcohol free drink menu which boasts some tasty teas and tonics that are so refreshing. The staff has been friendly, attentive and knowledgeable each time I've come, and I particularly like sitting at their 'uge bar. There is always good conversations to be had up there it seems. A true gem in the restaurant saturated area of the Town Center imo. The price points are a bit high for the portion size, but I also feel it fits the area, and I know it's "true food" of quality, so as long as it still tastes good, I'm not mad about it being a bit expensive.

Took my co-workers to lunch. They were both willing to try new dishes, so it was a fun lunch. No soda, which was a disappointment. The iced tea was just ok. I had the Panang Curry bowl. Great flavors. But i think they sliced 3 pounds of ginger just for my dish. There was WAY WAY WAY too much ginger, not enough rice. But I'll be back.

Love this place. Totally recommend the ahi tuna tartare, the sauce was incredible, really fresh!!! The Peruvian burger and the OG burger were delicious. We had lemonades and they were pretty good, a little bit sweet but still good. Totally recommend it!! I’d come back and try the pizza next time.

True Food Kitchen is on of the rare veggie restaurant that I really like because their food look very good and delicious. Some of their dishes are pretty unique to True Food Kitchen which mean you are not going to find them anywhere else . If you are a vegan or you are on a plant base diet this restaurant is definitely going to be your main and favorite restaurant where you can have your daily meal which will have all the protein and the calories you want . So far, I can not find anything that I don’t like about this restaurant. I have no complaints whatsoever. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for delicious vegan food!

We love this restaurant we always go here more than 10 times. My husband loves their pizza. It's one of our favorite restaurant in town center. But last two days ago we are disappointed of the service. When we dine-in we always asked for a bread before ordering food and they don't charge the bread. And this time they didn't tell us that they charge the bread now. It's not about the bread it's about the service is not good I waited my drinks sangria like 15 or 20 mins. And the person who serve us I think his name is Collin he don't tell us about the bread was charge, no communication at all. And also he serve the bread for too long and that's the reason when he served my drink we order food right away because we don't wanna wait longer. It's not about that we can't afford the bread it's about communication. They serve the food faster than my drink. My husband order the beer on can and he served to glass. This is not the service that we experience before that's why.

Came here for brunch/ lunch on a Sunday. Pleased the full menu was available as brunch menu is a little limited. Food was great, very filling, my salad was more food than the chicken sandwich I got as my entree, and staff was very friendly, which is rare. Place is also clean and spacious, much bigger than anticipated from looking at website. There are a lot of nice restaurants in this area but we will definitely come back.

The food is very fresh and has quality ingredients. The restaurant is family and vegan friendly. We started off with the herb Hummus which was very different than what we are used but it was amazing. The butternut squash soup was made well and I enjoyed that as well. We also ordered the Korean noodle bowl, it had a lot going on in it and it was a bit salty for my taste but it definitely was magical haha. My little sister enjoyed it. We also ordered the burrito bowl and the kale salad.

My visit to True Food in Jacksonville was a delightful experience, marked by fresh, flavorful dishes and friendly service. The menu, brimming with healthy yet delicious options, was impressive. I highly recommend starting with the unique Guacamole with Edamame and the flavorful Hummus - both were exceptional. The standout feature of True Food is their commitment to freshness. Each dish is a celebration of quality ingredients, perfectly balanced for a satisfying and healthy meal. And don’t miss their lemonades; they’re a refreshing complement to any dish!

Our waitress was very positive and demonstrated excellent knowledge of the menu. She, I believe it was Marianne, showed exceptional customer service. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to try a healthy meal; vegetarian and carnivores alike.. Enjoy! Also, if you opt for an adult beverage, I recommend trying the Peach and Bourbon. It was amazing!

First time here! And it was amazing. My sever Paula was very attentive to my needs , Brooke the bar server gave us a freshly squeezed Watermelon Mojito, by the way all the fruit is freshly squeezed. Arianna the manger was great as well! Highly recommend if your switch over to plant based/ vegan or just looking for a good health restaurant to eat at!

When I dine alone, I'm the most comfortable at True Food. The banquet style booths allows one to view outwards toward to windows or toward to vast kitchen. I've had a good experience with the wait staff EVERY TIME which is remarkable. I especially like the rainbow trout. It has a crunchy finish with tender fish and seasoned perfectly. This is a special way I treat myself because my lunch meal will cost $33 with an ice tea. The rainbow trout has seasonal vegetables with it. It's July so this time, the fish was on a bed of couscous, roasted bell peppers and artichokes. The decor of the restaurant is bright and light. It's a pleasant place to be and a nice location at in the town center by the Apple store, Louis Viton's, and RH.

The food was great. I tried the Corn flatbread and it was delicious. Also tried the Herb Hummus and that was awesome as well. The only thing that was kinda off was that i had to place my to go order before I could get a drink at the bar to wait for it. The Jameson and ginger (substitute for Ginger was off the chain delicious) was yummy.

Enjoyed our appetizer the watermelon and cucumber salad.really loved the watermelon lemonade. Turkey burger was good. The Persian burger my wife said tasted like it was a frozen patty. Our sweet potatoes were not done they were hard as a rock. We had the mango custard dessert. The custard felt like it was a broken custard and had absolutely no mango flavor at at all and the whipped topping also was not the greatest. The crust was the best part. The atmosphere was awesome and the wait staff was amazing. The watermelon and heirloom tomato salad I should have just ordered as my main dish it was fantastic.

First time at Tru Food. We ordered the watermelon and tomato salad, cauliflower, corn soup and spinach and mushroom pizza. We loved the pizza most. The soup was a bit too spicy for me. The cauliflower starter was tasty. We did not wait to be seated and oir server was knowledgeable of the menu and friendly. She did wait too long in-between checks.

This is a great place. They have amazing “healthy” food choices. The pricing is pretty fair for average folks. Although beverages they charge you to refill them except regular team. I ordered the ancient bowl with blackened salmon which was very filling and tasty. I highly recommend this place!

We had a great family dinner at True Food. The food is fresh and seasonal so you feel healthier after eating there. I got the ancient grain bowl with shrimp added. My wife got a butternut squash pizza and loved it. My three boys got grass fed burgers and thought they were delicious. Their burgers came with carrots and hummus or you ca. sub in sweet potato hash.

Delicious healthy fresh dishes. Service with a smile. Great experience! Roast Brussel sprouts and fish tacos.

  • 5/5 Ryan N. 2 years ago on Google
True Kitchen was delicious! I honestly was a bit worried the menu selection leaned a bit too hard into "healthy", but the grilled chicken panini and kale salad I ordered was delicious! My wife really enjoyed her seasonal salad with chicken as well! Overall, it was a great cross between healthy and pricing and we are excited to go back. My one "complaint" is no Coca-Cola! They do have a selection of tea. Not really the same thing haha.
