After
years
of
driving
past
this
restaurant
and
its
jam-packed
parking
lot
we
finally
decided
to
give
it
a
try.
I
fully
expected
this
to
be
a
relaxed,
easy
place
which
it
is.
The
inside
matches
the
outside-basic,
old,
worn
and
defiantly
committed
to
ugliness,
but
if
the
food
is
good,
who
cares,
right?
Well
it's
not.
Initially
I
thought
we
found
a
gem
when
our
server
brought
a
portion
of
spread
and
crackers.
It
was
tasty
-
a
cream
cheese
base
with
shrimp,
scallops,
fish
and
other
scraps
I'm
sure.
I
liked
it,
but
then
there
was
dinner.
I
ordered
fettuccine
with
shrimp
and
scallops.
It
came
with
two
sides,
but
most
of
the
side
selections
are
loaded
with
carbs.
I
could
have
had
a
salad,
but
I
didn't.
Instead
I
got
cheese
grits
and
green
beans.
They
were
both
good.
Still
it
would
have
been
better
to
have
some
other
green
options.
My
scallops
were
just
gross;
undercooked,
mushy
and
very
foul-tasting.
I
ate
only
two
and
left
the
rest.
The
shrimp
and
pasta
were
just
okay.
The
hubs
had
a
duo-platter
with
shrimp
and
scallops.
The
hubs
said
his
was
okay
but
also
felt
the
scallops
were
undercooked.
For
sides,
he
had
a
baked
potato
and
cole
slaw,
which
he
enjoyed.
Service
was
good.
The
menu
offered
a
good
selection.
Pricing
would
have
been
fair
if
the
place
was
nicer
and
the
food
was
better.
At
the
register,
I
told
the
young,
(very
young
-
like
12
years
old)
lady
about
the
scallops
and
she
said,
"Yeah,
a
lot
of
people
say
that
about
the
scallops.
Maybe
they're
just
bad?".
Poor
little
thing,
I
think
she
was
clueless.
I'm
glad
we
tried
it
and
now
we
know.
We
won't
be
back.
