Great place to get lunch and take a break. Usually take a few friends with me when I go or solo to clear my head. Outstanding hospitality and always welcoming.

After years of driving past this restaurant and its jam-packed parking lot we finally decided to give it a try. I fully expected this to be a relaxed, easy place which it is. The inside matches the outside-basic, old, worn and defiantly committed to ugliness, but if the food is good, who cares, right? Well it's not. Initially I thought we found a gem when our server brought a portion of spread and crackers. It was tasty - a cream cheese base with shrimp, scallops, fish and other scraps I'm sure. I liked it, but then there was dinner. I ordered fettuccine with shrimp and scallops. It came with two sides, but most of the side selections are loaded with carbs. I could have had a salad, but I didn't. Instead I got cheese grits and green beans. They were both good. Still it would have been better to have some other green options. My scallops were just gross; undercooked, mushy and very foul-tasting. I ate only two and left the rest. The shrimp and pasta were just okay. The hubs had a duo-platter with shrimp and scallops. The hubs said his was okay but also felt the scallops were undercooked. For sides, he had a baked potato and cole slaw, which he enjoyed. Service was good. The menu offered a good selection. Pricing would have been fair if the place was nicer and the food was better. At the register, I told the young, (very young - like 12 years old) lady about the scallops and she said, "Yeah, a lot of people say that about the scallops. Maybe they're just bad?". Poor little thing, I think she was clueless. I'm glad we tried it and now we know. We won't be back.

This was very wonderful experience... waitress was wonderful getting all of our food out in a timely manner no mistakes very professional and the food was awesome!!! My husband is allergic to shrimp and they were very accommodating to make sure he felt secure in eating the food was cooked in a separate pan just overall a great experience

I don't normally leave reviews but sense there is a check your food before you leave policy and they don't answer their phone, I thought I should leave my review. I ordered the whole catfish and some other things but only have concerns about the whole catfish. I'm not sure how I can see the inside of the fish without eating ot there. The fish looked old, was tough, and was not edible. Maybe cooked when it wasn't fully thawed. I really don't know but I started to eat on it in the car on my ride home and said something doesn't taste right and it's tough. I turned on the inside car light and glad I did because the picture shows what the fish looked like. Very disappointing to say the least. My first and last time at this restaurant.

This was such a disappointment!!! My order was made wrong. Even though the staff was friendly. I ordered a trio platter and only got two of the things I ordered. My bake beans had so many chopped onions I couldn't eat it. I asked for fried corn on the cob and got steamed corn that had a dirt taste to it. Mac n cheese was box mac n cheese that barely had cheese on it.. I really wish I could of got a refund.

I got a flounder which was soft. We also got chicken strips for the kids meal. It is popular with a lot of customers

Stop by with the Boss Lady. First time here, gotta say it was great. My only complaint ((shrimp are to small)) but other then that We had a good time food was great Amanda our waitress was awesome her service and her friendly attitude is what makes you to come back. And honestly as soon you set foot on the door. everyone is smiling given you a warming welcome, felt real good it was a pleasure coming here.👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The food is really good! *The catfish and green beans were perfect! Thing is... You just don.t get much for the price. + I think they should put a little more into the upkeep of the restaurant. *The condiments on the tables were all really gross. The sweet tea is awesome! The staff is okay... The woman at the register complained about everything and everyone. Our waiter was a nice guy and was attentive and thoughtful. Made sure we had everything we needed.

My rating is based purely on service, or lack thereof. We were seated and given a menu...and that's where it ended. We waited 20 minutes and nobody even took our drink order, despite our getting the attention of one of the servers to ask if someone could please come and take our order. It wasn't very busy, probably around 1:45 on Sunday. So we got up and left while the woman at the cash register watched as we walked out, she never said a word. It was me, my Mom and my daughter just trying to have a late girl's lunch. Their food is usually good. But today the service was non-existent.

Tasty seafood and a nice ambiance with wood decorum. USA theme sporting the red, white and blue! Loved the clam chowder (smooth not grainy), fried catfish, blackened snapper and cole slaw.

My experience with this place has been like a hurricane. Their food is never consistent, yet their service is very good and their employees are very nice in the front of house. The quality and the size of the food that is coming out is not on par to other restaurants in the area, especially considering the quality of the dining at this restaurant. Not only are portions not adequate but they are not ever consistent. You may get 1 piece of fish for a kid fish (5oz) or you may get 2 pieces of fish that weigh 9oz. A kid Tender, is 3 huge pieces of fried breast right now, last week was 3 pieces of fried tender-size pieces. Inconsistent and not managed properly.

Normally we have really great service. Our last visit we could not get the waitress to come back. We had to go find someone. Also, be prepared that now if you pay with a card they charge 3.5% fee that you don't find out about until you pay at the desk. If you need to charge more it should be posted before you sit down to order.

Their phone sometimes doesn't work eg the people at the front don't always pick up, but they are open. The online order process could also be improved. However if you like fried shrimp they have good seafood. Good value for the money.

This place has great food, wish it was cheaper though. Prices have gone up a great deal just as any other place, but we still like it. Hope they get more specials and discounts in. Also, they charge you a fee to use your credit card too. We will still eat here, just not as much. Can't afford $40 lunches.

We came from TN n we knew where we were going!!! We have eaten here for years. Our 18 yro granddaughter came from Denver n she had the 20 shrimp n begged us for half of ours. She usually gets the 30 piece n she only weighs 110. You can’t find a better place n the sides are awesome. Our servers are always wonderful n make sure we have what we need n the prices Are so reasonable. We will be back in Feb for our birthday 23 n 24 of February!!🥰

I took my family for my mom's birthday. The meal came out mostly barely hot. Especially with everything they fried was not hot & fresh. Spent $118 on food that was below the average of being great. Will never visit again.

My waiter was really a cool guy checking on me and reminded me the gator tail lol my first time eating it 🤣 it honestly taste like chicken nuggets but I didn't have the guts to do frog legs lol so I went with chicken pasta it did need a lil bit more seasoning

Don’t ever Order from them!!! They said they didn’t do raw or undercooked oyster and they lied cause it’s on their website!! I order raw oysters not fried oysters!!! What a waste of money!!!

Always great customer service takeout or dine-in. Large size portions at a reasonable price. Food is tasty and always fresh cooked to order. I look-forward to their homemade ranch salad dressing & cocktail sauce which is the best! I highly recommend!!

Food was great but a bit salty, however service was wonderful. Atmosphere was calm an classic friendly staff, and appetizers were great. Definitely recommend the frog legs an gator tail, I know they sound odd but they won't disappoint. Fish was just a tad to salty but otherwise pretty good. My friend got the 12 oz ribeye and loved it. Would recommend you try.

Excellent quality food at a price comparable to any other local casual seafood restaurant. Their seafood dip is still one of the best highlights of the business. I always get an extra cup to go and enjoy it for a few days as a snack. The price is commensurate with the local seafood options in the NE Florida area. Unless you are going out on a boat somewhere I do not believe you will find any fresher tasting seafood anywhere else.

Much worth the visit. In Florida you don't hit the big chain seafood establishment, you do local and will discover how much more appetizing it is !

The food was great. We had a full spread between the 5 of us. The lobster and salmon and Cajun shrimp were all delicious. My least favorite foods were the stuffed mushrooms and the hush puppies. The service was good too!

Arrived at 6pm on Sat night. Seated w/in two minutes. Hostess was friendly. Waitress arrived w/in 4 minutes & checked on us twice while we ate. Food was hot & steaming when brought to us. Stay was between 30-45 mins.

I love fried seafood. Got the platter for 2 and was not disappointed. Fish, clam strips, shrimp, scallops, crab cakes, oysters and hush puppies. Waitress was ok, but not attentive. Nice atmosphere and plenty of parking. I highly recommend.

Amazing food from start to finish. The gator tail was seasoned to perfection. The cinnamon butter for the sweet potato fries were addictive. The appetizer was so good I didn't get to get a picture of it.

This is, without reservation, the best seafood, at the best price in town. I usually have a shrimp and fish combo. Every time, the food is cooked perfectly and the sides are great accompaniments. I cant always make it back out to the west-side and would put seafood kitchen and safe harbor a very close second and third.

Usually when I go here the service is great and food comes out quickly. My latest experience here has left much to be desired. Granted it was a party of 5 our food took much longer than anticipated to come out and people who came in after us were served before us. Other than that food and service are great. I would go again.

Service was really great. The price was good for the amount of food. My mom and I split the mussels and stuffed mushrooms. They were both very well cooked and flavored right. The house salad is pretty standard and boring, but fresh. The seafood spread they serve with crackers is tasty. My husband ordered fried shrimp and they were cooked just right. Not too much batter and fried golden brown. Would definitely be back.
