Ordered the Merry Prankster and ask for thick crust but when I got there it was thin so they had to remake it which took another 20 minutes. There was no aioli sauce on the pizza which is normally supposed to have all of them. Friendly staff though and a lot of seating inside (ours was to go)

Came here on a Saturday night and it wasn’t too busy. Our waitress was nice and we got our food quickly. I had their mushroom soup and it wasn’t bad but was a bit lackluster and very acidic. The wings we got very dry and small too. Not bad just a bit bland for what you pay. The environment is nice though and the paintings are pretty cool, we got sat in the bus booth.

After accidentally discovering their Flagship store in the Atlanta area with my Pops around 20 years ago, the Mellow Mushroom locations in FL were always a welcome addition for an amazing slice of pizza pie up to a large build your own for multiple meals! There's a hearty vegan menu, gf free, and truly an option for even the pickiest of eaters and a cool psychedelic nod in the decor makes it fun and funky. The Jax Beach location greeted me quickly and politely even had I been a lone late night diner and seamlessly escorted me over to the pickup station. My order was perfect, ready early, and the manager on duty was an actual delight who humored my questions and traveler naivety for a new locale. I was told they hoped I'd return very soon, and if I were local, it'd be a welcome invitation. As a traveler who will be back and for the best "vegan greek goddess" style pizza I've had in 20 years... it's a relief to have a quality option that makes returning a pleasure and a treat. Thanks Mellow Mushroom Jax Beach, it appears you're making the chain proud with your customer service. (Also, next time I hope to eat inside your version of The Hog Farmer's "Further" bus if you're a Wavy Gravy or Tom Wolfe fan you'll understand!)

The Holy Shitake Pizza was the #1 at the table tonight. Yes, we had quite a variety to choose from- Kosmic Karma, Buffalo Chicken, Mauie Wowie, Pacific Rim and they were all EXCELLENT but nothing compared to Holy Shitake. It’s such a fun atmosphere, active and full of energy. Always find a way to put a smile on my face. Desserts - brownie, brownie sundae, root beer float nice way to end a good meal. Appetizers we had the pretzel bites with beer cheese (YUM) and mild oven baked chicken wings. Nice and lightly spiced not over whelming AMC’s filled with flavor. Plenty of parking. Easy access. Outside seating area. Wednesday is trivia night. Full bar.

Had a good tasting calzone and happy hour wine. The calzone came out hot and took about 25 minutes. The staff did a great job checking back to see if we needed anything. Great when you are trying to get the most out of happy hour prices. Will definitely recommend visiting.

Went here while visiting for a family wedding. Pizza is great here. Their ranch they make for their salads was unique and delicious and I ended up getting a second so I could have some more. Will go here again when I am back in this area. Highly recommend trying this place.

We loved Charlie our waitor..he was very friendly and helpful. Food was awesome and huge pieces. The atmosphere was so clean and enjoyable. Loved the 70s vibe in there! Make sure to check out the bus..lol definitely would go back! Thanks Charlie for making my families lunch such a good time! Great service!

Let me start this by saying my review is solely based on the service. While the pizza was delicious, the service...correction server and, more specifically, Michaela. Michaela was attentive, accommodating, and sweet. We were seated on the patio when a group of smokers came out, and she politely asked them to move down wind. This leads me to my only criticism, I would recommend moving the smoking area away from dining areas to avoid causing a bad customer experience. I can confirm that cigarette smoke does not pair well with your delicious food.

We had a great meal at the JAX Beach Mellow Mushroom. The pizza was simply amazing! It was warm and tasted very fresh!! Our server Sharon was upbeat and served us well too.

We love coming here! the pizza is always amazing and we tend to sit at the bar where the staff is friendly and fixes orders. 10/10 recommend this location

I ordered 11 pizzas at 9 o’clock in the morning to have them ready at 11. I knew that I was pushing my luck with making such a large order same day. When I arrive, there were three people working, and they were behind scheduled due to the oven being down. The three of them knocked out 11 pizzas in about 15 minutes and were super kind and friendly throughout the whole process. Love this location!

Lauren was AMAZING!!! She provided the best service! & this place is such a vibe. They always have the best playlist!! Kosmic Karma with italian sausage and pretzel bites were BOMB af. Super dank local beers on tap, too! Yeeeee!!! Will def be back and ask for Lauren!!! 💚💚💚

My experience with Mellow Mushroom comes from living in Charleston, SC in the 2010 era- it was always good; but I was a college student- I recently moved to AB and found this MM is awesome- I placed the order wrong ( I wanted garlic sauce instead of tomato sauce ) on a brocolli, extra cheese pizza- ( dare you to try it- itll change your world ) it came out with red sauce, because I didnt mention I wanted garlic sauce as the base. AGAIN MY FAULT! The bar manager Zee, took care of it- no question asked, and since it was busy while our pizza was being made, he brought out an appetizer and said - hey we are backed up in the kitchen, this is on me, Ill get your pizza! This guy is the man, but this place is awesome - check this place out! It's awesome, not only is the food on point- the people that work here care!

Great atmosphere, nice waiters and an awesome interior. Seats inside an old bus, nice drinks, cool menus. This restaurant has it all. I’m a bit of a food critic but the food was really good, the only thing is that I believe that they should have bacon as a free add-on or charge like 25 cents for bacon as an add-on because they could not only make some money but also some people don’t want bacon on their foods and almost everything has bacon! No problem just saying that bacon should be an add-on either for free or for a small charge. Great experience!

The food is insanely good. One of the few places I can order chicken in my food without it being fatty or undercooked. The food also tastes very fresh. Also no stomach issues. I've been to dozens of Italian restaurants and usually it's very greasy. This place has been consistently great. Been to multiple locations and they are all good. Only complaint is the lack of reservations. I don't need to call in for like 4 people but I feel bad if I can't set up for like 20 people. It makes the experience way slower. And it's immediately obvious how much stress is dropped on the wait staff.for family treats go for it. If you have a party Mabey skip this place. Even though it's absolutely worth the wait.

We went late evening on a Saturday and it was PACKED. Because of this the service was poor and very slow but I'm sure it's better most other days. The food was good but I was surprised when I ordered the "pie" and it was actually a pizza but oh well. We did get a free cookie though for our troubles but maybe that was a mistake as well LOL.

This was our first time at Mellow Mushroom. We absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was super fun- we got to eat in a bus! My 3 and 10 year olds spent most of the meal pretending to drive it. The food was amazing - highly recommend the Greek salad and the Veg Out/cheese pizza. Our server, Jay, was awesome. He was exceptionally friendly and personable. We will definitely be coming back whenever we are in the area.

Came here for the second time. Pizza is absolutely delicious. Had the thick crust last time and thin crust this time and I don’t know which one I like more they’re both so good. Super cute little place too, love the art on the walls. Lance waited on us this time and he did an awesome job! Will definitely be back.

My wife & I sat at the Bar because No One came to offer us a table. Waited 20 minutes for someone to show us menu’s - We ordered our meals and it began, a long long 45 minute wait for our food to come & when it did finally arrive the food was COLD. 🤬🤬🤬 The bar tender tried to push to get our order as she realized that we were upset because of the long wait. We only ordered hamburgers which can’t take more than 15-20 minutes to prepare but to add insult to injury the Manager that wore his Red Philly hat didn’t have the courtesy to come to us to apologize for the lack of service. The waitress told him about the problem, and he didn’t even have that common courtesy to come to us. He should be fired!!! When he was more concerned about the Phillys playing on TV & not the customers!! 🤬🤬 PS, the picture is what I had to eat after wasting my evening there!!! Ownership needs to be aware of the lack of service & there employees need to be better trained, There in the customer Service industry. “Shame on you”

Two nights in a row that Mellow accommodated our big group! Ashley was great! She has a wonderful personality. Props for giving up nicotine! Sam was extremely friendly and efficient the first night. Tyler also helped take care of the first night. We're all very grateful!

They have a unique variety of pizzas that taste delicious! 😋 The atmosphere was great; and our waitress was super friendly and helpful with suggestions on fun things to do in the area.

Today I went with my husband for dinner, it was our second time there. The food was great, we enjoyed our pizza. But the service , was amazing! We were very very pleased with everyone included the front door person.They were attentive and very courteous.Our sever kept our drinks filled all the time, and she checked on us continuously but without disturbing us. Really an outstanding smooth service. 😀

We had a gluten free pepperoni, calzone and the mahui wowi. The food was fresh, hit and delicious. Our server, Cara, was on point. Not overly attentive but there when we needed anything. Great job Ma'am. They had plenty of staff. Not like most places these days, where only one or two servers for the entire restaurant. 5+ stars.

Had a great time here! I got a sandwich but I got a taste of the pizza and realized if you eat here, that’s where it’s at!! Some of the best pizza I’ve tasted in a long time to be honest. Also if you order drinks, the martinis beat another local really nice restaurant chain. Just be sure to order it with gin! The service is great too and everyone helpful with a great attitude. The restaurant itself is pretty cool and nostalgic you could say. Very clean and well kept too! Keep up the good work.
