Great service with excellent food !! The owner is amazing as he keeps checking that everything is perfect. And definitely one of the best authentic Mediterranean food places in Jacksonville.

My husband and I have been customers for 10 years. We went again this past Saturday and had an absolutely delightful experience at this authentic Lebanese restaurant. The moment we stepped in, you are captivated by the charming atmosphere and beautiful decor that transported us to the heart of Lebanon. The menu offers a tantalizing array of traditional dishes that were bursting with flavors and authenticity. Every bite was a journey through Lebanese culinary traditions, leaving our taste buds dancing with joy. What truly elevated the experience is the impeccable service. The staff is always attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about sharing the culture and flavors of Lebanon. The son and owner are great chefs and hosts. From recommendations to accommodating dietary preferences, they went above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. The combination of delectable food, a warm and inviting atmosphere, and top-notch service made this restaurant a true gem. I can't wait to return and indulge in more of their mouthwatering dishes !

Pretty good and authentic Lebanese restaurant. Food was all around tasty. They have an outdoor seating area that allows for smoking hookah and eating. Interior designs are clean and attractive. Service was attentive and friendly. Our party ordered the Moujadara, Sijouk, Kefte Mishwe platter, Moussaka and Chicken Mishwe platter. The Moussaka could've been better enjoyed with rice or some sort of starch, as the dish was minimal. The lamb kebabs were very tender and flavorful. Veggies also were perfectly cooked. The tiramisu was delicious, but was not made in house. Originally wanted the Jebnah dessert but it took too long to make. Prices are a little higher than I'd like. Glad the menu wasn’t the bare boned Mediterranean spread, it was closer to what you'd eat at a Lebanese household. We left just in time as a belly dancer presentation came up, wife was happy to get me outta there😂.

My husband and I wanted to try Mediterranean food and it was close to our house. We loved the quiet and intimate atmosphere. The buffet was amazing and the food had much flavor. The chef was very personable and came out to talk with the guests and the staff was very friendly. We will be coming back.

Unassuming store front opens to a classy restaurant. I can imagine dinner on a Friday night would be the place to be! Nice cloth napkins good atmosphere. And the food was amazing! My wife loved the grape leaves and I loved the Baba Ganoush. Everyone was so nice. Our server with the curly hair knew just what to say. 10 out of 10!!!!

Best hummus in town just the right ingredients for the yummiest taste. I loved the kebbeh , eggplant dip, I also had the chicken kabab and garlic, tabouleh, and fatoush,very generous servings. It was amazing all around. Amazing service the owner and all the staff are welcoming. Definitely a must visit, I recommend you visit for tasty food and friendly atmosphere. You can also order hookah and alcoholic beverages. A+++ restaurant. Don't hesitate to stop by when you are in Jacksonville!

The food is always amazing here. This is the first time we had the lunch buffet and it was nice to have the extra variety in one meal, without sacrificing any quality (food comes out in small batches so it's fresh every few minutes but there's no wait). Price is a little high compared to some other lunch alternatives, but not for the quality of the food you get here.

Chef "Z" was extraordinarily personable and very friendly with us. Our first time in we were pleased to see how lovely the interior was. The food was fresh and flavorful!! One suggestion/wish was the mint tea actually came in traditional chi glasses & pot of hot water like they do in the Mediterranean_ mine was in a western-style teacup. It had fresh mint so, yeah it worked. The gyro my husband had was lacking meat to filling ratio (dinners be warned) but tasty. My dish was super delicious. All in all, we will be back to discover and try other entries.

I recently visited and had a highly disappointing experience with their gyro. The gyro meat was shockingly flavorless, leaving me utterly unimpressed. It was clear to me that the meat didn't come from a spit as expected but rather seemed like pre-packaged meat, lacking the authentic taste and texture that a good gyro should have. The service was far from satisfactory. The server (Bob Ross lookalike) appeared impatient and seemed uninterested in providing a pleasant experience for a first time customer. It's disheartening when the service doesn't match the restaurant's reputation or the price you pay for the meal. Honestly, I've had a better gyro at Arby's. At least there, the meat is consistently flavorful and juicy. Mandaloun needs to seriously reconsider their gyro recipe and improve their quality control. My visit left a lot to be desired. I won't be returning. I would recommend looking elsewhere if you're craving a delicious, authentic gyro experience.

Loved the Lamb here!!! Im usually picky about the way the lamb is made and last night we stopped by before closing and had a quick bite to eat here. I enjoyed the it very much! I was not a fan of the cheese and meat pies. Seemed like they need a little more seasoning. The vegetables were done right not overly cooked. Just perfect. Thank you for a good experience and service.

Magnificent is the word I would use to describe this establishment, as well as my experience on my first patronage of this establishment. Clean, elegant and well set tables greeted me upon entry. I was welcomed by the hostesses shown a menu and escorted to the buffet. The food was delicious. Customer service is alive and well here. Expect to be treated like a diplomat. To top it all off my meal was 20 bucks!! I thought it would be a hundred. Definitely will return. I took a few pics of the place which I will share with you all.

My first time here and it was AMAZING! A hidden gem tucked away in a plaza off of Baymeadows. Every bite was so so good. Service was good. The owner Pierre came over to make sure we enjoyed our meal which was a nice touch. Highly recommend.

What a gem of a restaurant this place is! The ambience and the attentive service makes you feel like a royalty. The food was delicious beyond expectations and for very reasonable prices. The Belly Dance show was the cherry on top! This place is a Must Visit. P.S~ Be sure to tip the dancer, you can tip her while she dances or at the end of the show when she is sitting by the bar.

Easy parking. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. Ouzi and beef shawarma are highly recommended. The meat was tender and flavorful. There was belly dancing. I'm not sure if that's a daily/weekly thing or it's because there's a party there Overall, great place to enjoy with family

As soon as we walked in we were greeted and sat down. We went during lunch hour so we were asked if we wanted the buffet or menus. We opted for menus and I got the lunch special with kafta, baba gannouj, tabbouleh. My husband ordered kafta with the veggies and rice. The flavors were out of this wolrd. The kaftas were so juicy and tender. The baba gannouj had a sweet, savory smokey flavor and the pomegranate seeds added a burst of fresh fruity flavor. We also got Kebbe and it came with fresh taziki sauce. They gave us a basket of soft fresh pita bread with a side of seasoned sesame oil to dip it in (I really don't know the name of it but it was so good). I was really full and couldn't finish all my food but I made sure my husband didn't finish my plate because I wanted it for later. All around great service. Delicious food. Staff was super friendly and attentive and we will definitely be coming back.

My co workers and I were in town for a work trip. We wanted some Mediterranean food and came across this place. It did not disappoint one bit. We were also entertained by the belly dancer who supplied the evenings entertainment. Overall, nice atmosphere, good service, great food. Will return, one day.

We went here for dinner on Valentine’s Day on a whim since our original plans had been disrupted and it turned out to be the best experience! We expected to get turned away or told it’d be a crazy long wait, given we didn’t have reservations at a peak time, but they still accommodated us and gave us a table that was prepared for the holiday with crisp white linens and red roses on the table. It was beautiful and romantic. We ordered the chicken shawarma, and the garlic sauce was the best I’ve ever had. The food is high quality and delicious, and you could tell they take food seriously (it’s not just a production line like many others). The service was excellent. They brought out a complimentary dessert to all the tables for the holiday and gave all the ladies a single red rose, too! They went out of their way to make the holiday special. As we were leaving, the owner/chef stopped by and said hello, introduced himself, and treated us like family, despite us telling him we were in the area on business. Even though we will rarely be in Jacksonville going forward, we’ll always make time to eat at this place. I highly recommend it to everyone in the area.

I went there for a Friday lunch buffet once. The server was very attentive. They have many different dishes to choose from, fresh and tasty. It is not your typical all your can eat buffet quality. It is high quality. The rice pudding as a dessert is very delicious. I am glad that I tried this for at least once. It a very valued lunch buffet. I believe that they don’t have dinner buffet.

The Baklava was amazing. I was very impressed. I’m not sure if its made there but wherever they get it from its perfect and nice and soft to. The homemade sauce with it was very good as well. Five stars for that. I didn’t try anything else but I did hear a customer complement them on the food so I think its safe to say these guy know what they are doing.

The food at Mandaloun is probably the best food I've ever eaten. The little hole in the wall restaurant packs an incredible punch when it comes to their cuisine. I've never experienced Lebanese food like I've had here at Mandaloun and I'm Lebanese. The Owner/Chef welcomed us in at the door and came and checked up on us during our service. Prices were well worth it as the experience we had was incredible.

My new favorite stop for grape leaves and strong coffee. The patio area reminds me of a place I used to go to in Chicago. Name something better than some fresh air, good food, strong coffee and a cigarette? It's not possible. It feels like a hidden gem here, I will be back.
