Sadly
the
restaurant
we
wanted
to
go
to
was
closed
so
on
a
whim
we
tried
Sandollar,
HUGE
mistake.
The
entire
place
was
filthy.
We
ordered
the
seafood
platter
for
two,
the
fried
fish
was
fantastic,
the
clams
okay,
the
shrimp
obviously
frozen
and
not
fresh,
and
the
scallops?
NOT
SCALLOPS.
Scallops
should
be
smooth
and
buttery
these
were
tough,
gritty,
and
resembled
a
chicken
nugget
in
consistency.
They
lacked
the
scalloped
taste,
smell,
or
texture.
We
mentioned
it
to
the
server
who
advised
perhaps
the
texture
was
off
because
they
came
out
of
a
can.
The
manager
came
out
and
was
rude
and
condescending
and
told
us
they
were
scallops
and
it
was
clear
we
just
didn’t
know
what
scallops
tasted
like
and
that
maybe
the
texture
was
off
because
they
were
fried.
She
repeated
over
and
over
that
they
couldn’t
legally
sell
something
as
scallops
if
they
weren’t,
well
they
weren’t!
Add
to
the
fact
that
the
deviled
crab
was
made
with
fake
Krab
and
it
was
the
icing
on
the
cake
to
ensure
we
will
NEVER
be
back.
It’s
unfortunate
because
the
setting
is
lovely
but
it’s
clear
the
management
does
not
care
about
the
product,
customer
satisfaction,
or
cleanliness.
I’m
leaving
grossed
out!
