This place is nice. The food was delicious. They lady who makes the omelet, is very entertaining to the guess, she's fiesty but keeps you laughing. Her omelet and waffles are delicious!!

I recently had a fantastic dining experience at Golden Corral Buffet and Grill. Despite the busy Saturday evening, we only had to wait around 8 to 10 minutes at the register before being seated by a friendly hostess. The restaurant was crowded, but I was impressed to see that every food pan on the bar was fully stocked with hot and fresh items. The service personnel and food staff were incredibly hardworking and efficient throughout the entire dinner service. I didn't witness any staff members slacking off; they were constantly bustling around the hot kitchen and clearing tables promptly. The food itself was delightful, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The dessert bar was particularly impressive, featuring delectable treats like slushes, ice cream, cakes, pies, cookies, and bread pudding. It's worth noting that not all Golden Corral locations offer the same atmosphere, quality, and service, but this particular establishment exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend giving it a try!

The establishment was very clean. Food was great, especially my omelete and steak. Even my kids went to get their own steak after trying mine. Wasn't overly crowed, which is a plus for me. If ever in the area again, I'll come back.

Went for dinner here last night (a Friday night) as a family of four (2 adults and 2 children). The restaurant was very busy as expected for a Friday night. Despite how busy it was we had a great experience. Our server was attentive and kept our drinks refilled as needed. There was a huge selection of foods to choose from which even my two little ones (very picky eaters) were satisfied with. Overall, it was a great experience and I'm certain this will be a top choice for our family to go back to again in the near future!

Perfect place to eat. Had a great time with my friend. The food was amazing and the banana pudding is always amazing! 👌 they had a good selection of food today too. Everything was fresh and delicious.

Just stopped in, I like to try a little of everything, best corn bread ever. I notice they have recipe cards up on the walls as pictures. Thought that was pretty cool. Packed dessert to go!!

Had an issue being seated because we have 7 kids. We were told to go to the banquet room.. some staff were in there on break and didn't want us going in there nor did they care to wait on us. One amazing server came over and took on our family and another large family despite him already working a whole other section! Rated 5 stars because of him and his service. Without him it would be a 2. Food was great, atmosphere was great. It's a very large location and super clean!

My Dad’s go-to place when we visit on weekends. Definitely affordable for the various types of food you can eat. They have the best fried chicken and I always load up on those. Pot roast, mashed potatoes and gravy, grilled pork, and fried chicken are my main targets. If you have their app, you get $10 for every $100 purchase. Can easily earn that after three visits.

I hadn't been to this location sense before Covid hit so thought I would give it a go. I went about 1045am when they were setting up for lunch and still had some breakfast options too. Everything was fresh and tasty. Only complaint is although I was delighted to see steak on the grill,it was tough and even if I get it med rare it still seems to be tough must be a cheap cut of meat? Overall though it was great. I paid a little over $11 for myself. Much better than a burger combo.

This by far has been the best location I have been to since moving to Jax a year ago. The staff was friendly and fresh was quickly replaced when a pan became empty. There was no one was just standing around, everyone was busy preparing something or cleaning something. Every bit of food i put on my plate was hot, tasty, and FRESH and myself or my son have no complaints. One downside I found a lot of the plates near the buffet were dirty.

OMG absolutely amazing I was doing my physical therapy and all the sudden I thought as I'm riding the bicycle for 5 minutes I would love some roast beef potatoes and carrots and brown gravy. So then my next thought was where can I get potatoes gravy carrots and roast beef? I finished my physical therapy I got in the car with my roommate and I said how about Golden Corral so we were both in and it was only one mile from where we were at and it was amazing and the service was amazing and I ate way too much food it was only $10 for the lunch buffet the drinks are $3 so if you want a cheap lunch to get anything you're absolutely craving go there and bring a water.

Large variety of food for low cost at lunch.

We went there because it was my grandsons birthday and he chose this restaurant. 🎂 🥳 🎉 When we got inside, there were 2 lines, one for dining in and another one for carrying out. It was rather full, but we were moving at a good pace. Once we got to the register, we asked for a large table, as we were sitting together, and it was a group. The table was provided in less than 5 minutes, and we were guided to our table. The waitress came out right away and instructed us to proceed to the buffet while she got our drinks. As always, the food was very good and stocked. Except for the one thing I was actually craving, corn bread. There wasn't any on the buffet when I got there, and it was never refilled. That was kind of disappointing 😞 Everything else was excellent, and we had a great time and left a nice tip. Thank you for hiring individuals who actually want to work and train them really well.

Staff was friendly, and admittedly, the place is a great value for the price. Only complaints were that some portions of their buffet weren’t replaced in a timely manner, even though it wasn’t very busy. Some of the food tasted like it had been sitting out for a while. Nonetheless, if you’re willing to make the most of it, it’s a great place to eat if you’re on a budget.

Golden corral lost my bussiness had toliets with pee on them on the floor only 1 toliet ladies working toliet paper on the floor. and food wasnt fresh all out of half things was busy didnt even refill my drinks couldnt find waitress half time and there was hair in my food didnt notice until got back until got back to the table for table of 4

The food was AMAZING! 10 out of 10. Best Golden Corral food I have had in years from the salad far, meats, sides, to desserts. Now the reason I gave 3 stars is because I patiently waited with my 3 year old grandson for pizza. When I asked the 1st time I was told they was getting in the back. When I asked thr 2nd time I was told 7 minuets. We all ate and waited. Pizza never came out and that was literally why we went because he don't eat anything and we knew the place would at least have pizza for him. Food still really good. I do recommend the food.

I come from a rather large family, we've had all of our family reunions and get togethers here. For at least the entire existence of Golden corral it has been one of our most favorite family spots. The food is amazing, the service is some of the best I have ever experienced in the industry, their family atmosphere is great. Honestly I can't say enough about this establishment.

Really good food! Nothing wrong with the food at all! Some extra comments: There's really no spoons unless you ask for one but that's totally fine honestly, just remember to ask if you go and want one. I'm only giving 4 stars because when I went to get a bowl, it wasn't thoroughly washed (and it was recently washed because it was still wet so I know nobody got to it) but it had some fuzz and a piece of food stuck to it still. I grabbed a different one that was clean and dried it off though. But overall nice place and welcoming ☺

Food is always freshly made, plenty of variety, nice family atmosphere and friendly service. Breakfast is the best deal and time to go for me.

I've been to about 15 or 20 Golden Corrals in my life. This one is one of the better ones I've been to. It is usually really clean, their fried fish is fantastic and their steaks can be really good. Sadly the steaks are very hit or miss. Some of the staff behind the bar can be kind of rude. We try to visit twice a month, and almost always try to sit in Donnie's section. Last visit we got Zola, who was a funny and personable guy. From our 10 or so visits at this location, they have been the most attentive and fastest staff we have had. Big props to those two for doing a great job and having great attitudes.

Place was very busy tonight. Erin was very polite and helpful when she waited on us. The cashier at the front counter on the other hand had a horrible attitude, she was rude, never once smiled or greeted us and she looked like she was in a bad mood. I asked her to smile and greet her customers and she instantly replied no and shook her head. Of course I had to talk to the manager on duty and he said he will have a talk with her. I may go there again but if she is there again at the front door forget it.

Hey you can't beat glad the price. We went at 3 and got there in time did they're Early Bird $ 9.02 and that included the drink. The hot food was hot and the cold food cold. Service and cleanliness were better this time than it has been in the past. Love This place!

In my opinion this is the best Golden Corral in Jax. Food is always fresh and seasoned,unlike the other locations. Always refreshing dishes, so your never left with an empty item. Service is great as well. Desserts are great as well. Would return and recommend. Management is definitely on point here .

I'm going to give this restaurant a bunch of stars for their courtesy and pride they have in their food and service. Unlike the Merrill road location they had me not going over there ever which was close to me like 10 minutes. This place is worth the drive, 30 minutes from the east side. I was always felt welcomed and satisfied here, thank you team your not only selling great food but selling the name. The best buffet in USA.

Was very busy on Sunday afternoon, which we expected. However, got a table and only one guest in our group got her water. The rest of us, one more water and 2 cokes had to ask a server at least 2 more times for our drinks. Not enough plates for the amount of people. Food was good. Some better than others. Ladies bathroom was disgusting. That won't stop us from going back. Overall was a good dinner.

We've been to a few different locations over the years. This one had the best food quality and tastiest options. Our server Brian was excellent; best we've had at a GCB. 3 stars for atmosphere because of the restrooms.

My kids love this place so we go every once in awhile. The food is always great and the servers are very friendly. The only thing I dislike is never being directed for seating. It's uncomfortable walking around looking over everyone's table while they are eating just to find a seat. The last 2 times we have went we seated ourselves and 1 of those times we accidentally took someone else's spot because the table was empty with nothing to indicate it was being occupied.

Came in during the dinner switchover at 4pm. Items were freshly cooked, and I was able to get the new batch of steak from the grill. Donie, my server was very attentive and always made sure my glass was full and my table clear of dishes. I never see this Normandy location slow, which is a good thing for any buffet in that items were being replenished constantly. The chicken noodle soup was probably my only disappointment, as it wasn't that hot as I expected. Catfish and fried chicken were freshly cooked, as well as the gizzards. The only shrimp was breaded medium shrimp, but I found it (though hot), over breaded to my liking. Salad bar was fairly extensive and my ingredients were freshly prepared. No more chocolate fountain, but a decent amount of cakes and cookies and ice cream. The new thing I noticed was the slushy fruit drinks but I may try that next time for dessert. I chose soft serve and chocolate chip cookies as my go-to to end my meal. Don't forget you can earn points as a frequent diner on the app now.

It was extremely crowded there but everybody worked to try and get the customer served. The food was outstanding I even tried some stuff I would not normally try and it would really good. Since this is one of the last two in Jacksonville I would recommend this store

Good food if you like buffet style dinners or lunch. Fried chicken , pot roast,shrimp, steak ,wings. Salad bar,dessert bar, Mexican, you name it & all the side dishes you could imagine. For $19-$20 a head for adults. Really decent food.

The one or two times that I have been at this Golden Corral location have been positive experiences. The food is usually fresh when I get there. I would not recommend going on Sunday in the early afternoon. There was a line out the door, and parking in the far lot. The food is good, I gave 4 stars because I like my food seasoned while it's cooked. I understand why they don't though. The atmosphere is good, but always too close for my liking. I also feel that people should be required to wear gloves to fix their plates, as everyone is touching the serving utensils. The variety of food is always good.

This review is based on a one time visit; therefore, my review may be changed in the near future. To be fair, I am not a huge Golden Corral fan; however, when setting aside preferences, this Golden Corral location is not the greatest. There are a few things I did like about the food: The chicken tenders were juicy and the taste was great. The fried okra was actually pretty good. The desserts were astounding. Everything else was not very appetizing. The workers were kind and the place was crowded with customers. For how packed the place was, mostly everything was dried out and was not very fresh. If Golden Corral is your thing, this location has the potential of being a disappointment. If Golden Corral is not your favorite place, this location probably would not help.

Good experience as usual. Went for Father's day but wasn't a bad wait despite being packed. Event was great, steaks were spot on medium rare and tender from carving station. Everything tasted great, only small issue was the stuffing was very watery/loose but still tasted fine, just felt like it was kinda soupy. Very minor complaint because I tried several items and everything else was excellent.

Everything was nice and clean. I love that someone there knows how to cook gizzards. We'll definitely be going back to enjoy it. My hubby likes the fact as well that someone knows how to cook shrimp. The next time we go I want to try the steak.

I haven't been to Golden Corral in a long time. I love 4 hours away. But it was so nice to spend time in a private room with my family. Staff was wonderful and totally made sure we were accommodated even though we had over 20 guests and no reservation. Thanks

The food was all delicious. The steaks were out tonight which my crew all enjoyed. Shrimp were really good too. Lots of choices and our server took really good care of our large party. It floors are a little dated but still a great experience.

This restaurant has always been busy when we are there. But are able to keep the line's moving. Cashier and hostess are always helpful and engaged with guests. The food is always fresh and good they doing good job of keeping the buffet full and fresh. Service always good. The waitress was very attentive and pleasant, even though she was very busy, managed to keep a smile on her face. Casual buffet but very busy at times.

I really appreciated Brittany! She was so nice to me and my family! She made sure we had clean plates! She was so friendly, nice, sweet , kind, and She gave me a hug when she left! God bless her and this establishment. She makes it a better place to enjoy!
