First time trying this establishment today. The beer is icy cold. Fajitas flaming hot. Everything came out perfect. Server was awesome too. Highly recommend this place.

Really fresh food. Great staff. I asked for a Mexican flag burrito which they don't offer but made me an excellent version.

The fajitas are great to share! Really nice portions for a substantial meal. Especially if you are drinking a beer or two :) The veggies were perfectly cooked and loved the fact that they came sizzling on the grill! Enjoyable relaxed place to hang out with friends.

I will have to go a second time. My first time was ruined by our server who seemed very intoxicated. The food would have been delicious if it was warm.

The staff is very nice, however the food was un eatable. Nothing was fresh, they are just heating everything in the microwave.

I had this beast of a bowl that was blazing sizzling hot. That was still bubbling when I was done. Service was god , food was great beer was cold!

Honestly a great place to eat at in San Marco. The margaritas are pretty good, the food is great and they have some very good recipes even if they are pretty common. They have mastered the ways of fajitas. The service is nice and they are always kind. One warning though! Do not touch the plates. It is like touching lava.

We ate dinner here on Wednesday. The server was super nice. They had bogo margaritas that were pretty tasty. The food came out relatively quickly. The cups and salsa were great. Dinners were good, nothing that knocked my socks off but reliable. We will be back next time we want reliable Mexican in San Marco.

The food was delicious until I discovered a large piece of plastic packaging in my food. Manager was accommodating and removed price from bill. Tried this location again just bcuz thats what you're suppose to do bcuz anybody can have a bad day. This time food was superb but service was absolutely horrible.

This place have NASTY tasting margaritas. Can't compare at all with LA Nopalera in River City. Not even as far as Food or Menu & prices. No. Plus they charged an automatic gravity for 4 adults and one Child age 5! Really!! Say they do that is ifs a table of 5! Well the kid w/with her granny! The waitress was not friendly at all. Seem like she was not happy being at work. But that's not the customers problem. I will not go back here never again! Sorry not sorry.

Yes, yes, yes! Super fast service, super friendly waiter, and awesome atmosphere and music! The food was DELICIOUS! Our waiter stayed ON TOPPP of everything. It was the most near perfect experience I've had in a very, very long time.

As I was approaching Jacksonville, I reached out to my friend and suggested we meet up for drinks or coffee or even tacos. He suggested La Nopalera as it was close to I-95 as I'm heading north. They have a decent sized parking lot and at 12:00 on a Saturday, I had no problem fitting the Sprinter van into a good space. Inside, seated at a booth with a view of the door and then my chips and salsa arrived. A firm salsa and the chips were warm and salted nicely. Yay! Tacos for lunch, I chose the platter of street tacos with a variety of proteins. They arrived about 10 minutes later, hot and fresh and topped with the expected cilantro and chopped onions. The soft corn shells did collapse a bit as I ate them but the flavor was there and they were delicious. Friendly service as we spent a good two hours talking and drinking entirely too much Diet Coke this afternoon.

Enjoyed coming to this place. My wife loves authentic Mexican food, and we can't find it often, (there always seems to be some kind of flare added to it). But this was extremely good and well seasoned. The staff was polite and attentive. Wonderful place to eat.

Wait was little long but we had party of 6 so understandable for Saturday night. Food was great and service was excellent! There is an outside patio too for dining which was nice. They have a parking lot too which for Riverside area was a nice bonus. Little smaller than other napoleras but food was just as good!

Worst experience at this location tonight! The waitress was super rude! Gave the impression that she absolutely hated her job. Then was charged for the toppings for my nacho’s all because I asked her to put them on the side? How does that make sense?? It’s nachos!! She got my friends order completely wrong and in return acted as if it ways friends fault! When I spoke to a gentleman by the front counter he told me that everywhere charges for extra. But that’s the thing the toppings weren’t extra they were what the menu says comes on it!! He was extremely rude as well! I will not be coming back to this location ever! Also queso cheese dip was cold! Had to ask a gentleman walking by to heat it up so he said he’d throw it in the microwave!!

I always have a good time. I had this one waiter out of all the years I have been going there, he just didn't want to be at work. But I'm not going to give it a bad review,because I absolutely love this place. Good food and drinks and they won't break your pockets

Texan here! I have to say this is my favorite, Absolute Favorite spot for Mexican Food! The Margaritas (original only) are BOGO so that’s always a plus!!! I love it here! “Don’t mind all the hot sauce & cheese” I asked for extra !!!

Great food and even better service. We left with plenty of food to eat for later. There wasn’t a bartender at the bar so the waiters fixed the drink. I would pass on the drinks. It was also hot when we entered. However, when we mentioned it to the waitress she took care of it right away and the manager turned the a/c down.

Food was good .Service was ok had to ask for refills but not major. I gave 4 stars because of the amount of time it took a host to greet us and then put us on a list when the restaurant had several empty tables. After having someone acknowledged that we were still waiting to be seated... we were finally seated..But don't hold that against them other than this mishap the rest of the dining experience was awesome.

AMAZING. We loved our whole experience at La Nopalera. Margaritas were two-for-one and were totally delicious. The restaurant itself is so visually cool, too. A total vibe. Food was bangin’. Amazing guac, some of the best I’ve had. Shrimp was beautifully char-grilled, totally enjoyed the shrimp tacos. Chips and salsa were perfection. Churros were tasty, too. Louis (Panama!) was a wonderful server, we had a great chat and he couldn’t have been any kinder and more accommodating. A total gem in Jacksonville and we cannot wait to go back and have another lovely experience.

I recently stopped by on a taco Tuesday and was really impressed with this location and the food. Had a great time and the price was fair considering how big they made the meals.

They're always so sweet and quick with the food as well as with seating you. My fiance loved to go here often before leaving for the military. And may I say, heaven on a platter ❤ Small extra comment, iced tea here is really really good!

The food is really good. I think they could do better with having more people to deal with the peak hours. The real reason for the 3 stars is because twice I've had to dispute my bill concerning the happy hour margaritas. So be sure to pay attention to how many you order and at what hour (they're happy hour starts at 5pm).

The Carnitas and chicken street tacos were delicious! Sangria was good! The place gets really busy, so be understanding if you have to wait a few minutes to get served. Staff are friendly. Ate here both days I was in town!

The main reason I gave this restaurant a lower score is because it was extremely hard to find. It is set back off the street and needs a sign to show where it is & where to park. 2 out of 3 enjoyed the food, but 1 thought it was bland. The building is really cool, just hard to find even using GPS.
