I love their BBQ chicken pizza!! I always get it 😅 the calzones and the zucchini fries are awesome too. Overall good food. I've recommended them several time before. Staff is always friendly and pick up orders are pretty easy as well. Seating area is a nice size. I do wish there was more leg space at the booths though.

Me and my husband are lunch at Al's today and it was delicious!! I ordered the lunch size chicken carbonara and he ordered the deluxe calzone and as you can see we had more than enough food. The food tastes great as well. We will definitely be back!!!

I place a order for pickup and I was told that it was going to take between 15 to 20 minutes. Well when my wife got there she to have the order brought out because it was a curbside pickup. Well the very rude attendant told her well you need to come inside because I'm not going outside. Then my wife explained to her that she was not dressed appropriately to go inside and that she had a local flavor certificate to pay for the food and her response was. I don't even know how to use those. So you have none trained rude people working at your place. She doesn't need to be working at a place where she had to deal with customers.

I could have given a better review if the service was better. Waiting 5 minutes for someone to come to the front to tell us to sit wherever we want. It then took 5 minutes for waiter to bring us menus and another 10 for him to come back and get our order. I would understand this if they were crowded. There were literally 3 other tables and they were all eating when I came in.

Came to FL in vacation to get pizza from a different place than chain pizza establishments. We came across Al's Pizza. Server was friendly, attentive and helpful. Food was made fresh and was brought out hot. You can even see them making fresh dough. When we were done, the server told us about a coupon that we could use on the app and boxes our leftover pizza for us. I highly recommend Al's Pizza if you are in Jacksonville.

Was tanning next door & didn't feel like cooking. Tried Al's tonight for the 1st time. Was told when I inquired that they have "New York" style pizza. Was excited about this being we are from Connecticut. I purchased 3 - 10 inch pizza's one for my husband; son and myself. All 3 were doughy and most of the pie was crust. New York Pizza is typically think crusted and crispy. The flavors of each of the pie's also didn't impress us; we agreed the best way to describe this pizza was that it was a glorified Papa John's. Also the lady acting as the hostess was very curt with no personality; almost too serious to be the face of the restaurant. Could be a cultural disconnect as she seemed to be from another country?? The other crew members were very pleasant.

I purchased the Medium Buffalo Chicken Pizza as well as Chicken Alfredo. The Alfredo came out as a large portion with side salad and several pieces of bread. The medium pizza was 14 inches of pure deliciousness. Service was awesome and place was clean. Highly recommend. My waiter was Rick and he was awesome.

Went for eggplant parm, and it is no longer on the menu. The sub sandwiches are weak. Very small. Who uses shortie rolls in a restaurant for sub rolls. It's definitely not worth me going again. Wifey had pizza slices. They were weak, too. Barely any sauce, madd thin, and burnt. Horrible !!!!!

I'm a little over Al's. They have a pizza that I love when they make it according to the menu description but they haven't made it that way for quite a while. At first they said it was a supply issue so I walked across the street and bought them the missing ingredient (red peppers). Now they don't even bother saying anything. They just don't put them on. We have plenty of other pizza options in the neighborhood.

I really like the pizza at this place! And the staff is very nice.

Food is great and the appearance is beautiful. My son and I enjoyed sitting outside after riding bikes around town. Only thing is, the seasoning for the outside tables do not have covers on them to prevent dust or small particles to go in the salt, pepper, parmesan cheese or chili peppers. Other than that, it was great! Also the staff has amazing customer service. Everyone is smiling and more than happy to assist you; even if they're not your waiter or waitress.

New to town, wanted some Italian. Boy was this a mistake! The pizza must be the only good thing here. I ordered the Chicken Alfredo, and a Calzone. Both were very bland. I had to add garlic powder, salt, and pepper to give it any taste. The portion size was very small for $15. The Calzone was cold, and really had no flavor. $40 later for a lunch and I was pretty disappointed. I have no clue why this place has a 4 star review, I'll never order from them again sadly!!!

I don't like giving bad reviews but it was a bad experience. Pizza was not good in any way. Topping and cheese falls off. Paper thin crust. I spent 25$ for one person. One small pizza . I wounldnt come back

Quick and friendly service and fresh beer! Only criticism I have is that I wish the tomato sauce was individually crafted and had a distinct, Italian flavor. The calamari was excellent. The garlic bread was ok. The lasagna was middle-of-the-road. Good place to hang out over beers but not a place I'd consider special or unique.

Al's Pizza fails to be a genuine Italian restaurant, and at the same time produces food that tastes a day old. Their spaghetti is loaded with sauce to the point where it's more tomato sauce and a few huge noodles swimming in it. The best thing on their menu is their Lasagna. somehow something goes right in the kitchen when they make this dish because it's very good. The noodles and spices in the Lasagna shows this kitchen is capable. I guess they just don't care. Honestly I'd save some money and get better food by going to Olive Garden.

I'm happy I visit this place every time I go! Great food that is served promptly, the staff is always polite and helpful, and the "vibe" that I get is very chilled and relaxed. Plus the food tastes fantastic and I usually have more than I can eat in one sitting for a very good price! I can't complain really. If you're unsure about eating here, just try it. You won't regret it!😁

This was a good spot for lunch. I had the chicken parmigiana with the house made chips and it was good. Would go again.

Eating here is my favorite part of the day! Always pleasant people to deal with and the food (especially the calzone) is the best on the planet!

At the riverside location Took a while to be acknowledged because the only person up front was stuck taking phone orders while the rest stayed in the back. The food was just ok. Not much flavor even after a few visits. Prefer the Beach location. Still a clean place to dine and in walking distance of local attractions.

The Deluxe pizza was very good. The Veggie pizza was not good to me at all. I took one bite of the Veggie pizza and gave the entire box to a homeless person; I thought about taking it home and doctoring it up but decided against it. The Veggie pizza lacked flavor, seasoning and it seems like there wasn’t any sauce on it. I took one bite of the Deluxe and ate 2 slices.

The mozzarella sticks were amazing and the pizza is very good as well. My lasagna had underdone noodles, but I did not complain. I wouldn't order it again though. Service was sub par and the atmosphere is kinda plain. The music was good though.

Amazing!!! The vegan pizza is the best I've ever had at a restaurant. Twice as good as Mellow Mushroom. My kids got the lasagna and cleaned their plates. Mom got the stuffed shells and salad with the blue cheese dressing and she raved about it. Rebecca was our waitress and gave outstanding service. Very pleasant person and quick to wait/check on us.

A year ago I would have given five stars. I moved from Riverside to Murray Hill and ever since then, the pizzas that Al's has delivered have been sub-par to say the least. I guess they don't like coming to this neighborhood and want to discourage me from ordering delivery anymore? The last three pizzas: I ordered pepperoni and cheese with light sauce. Just got cheese with regular sauce. Next was the same pizza but it still came with heavy sauce. Last pizza was burnt black on the bottom and looked and tasted like one someone didn't pick up and it had sat around. I almost always order the same pizza. I was a loyal customer. I always tip the driver well too. Done now.

Years ago it was a good place to eat NOT anymore. Pizza taste like cardboard and cheese. They used to have good pizza and beer day sales NOT any more. Not the best place for pizza but it'll do temporary for lunch sake.

Order pizza its the main thing made fresh. Me and my family wanted to try a different place for once. We picked the wrong place.. The pizza was good.. However, I ordered the stuffed shell with grilled chicken.. Not only was my food cold and tasted as if it had been sitting for a while. When I asked for it to be remade they took my plate and heated it up in the microwave and brought it back to. The manager could care less and stated he would remove it if I didn't want it and proceeded to tell me I would have to pay for a salad that was apart of my meal as if I had an issue with paying my bill was the issue.. I definitely won't be going back.

Delicious and super fast service. Delivery guy was really kind. Our hotel recommended them and we're so glad we listened. Ordered 2 large pizzas and some zeppolis. Delish A+
