We came here because of all the good reviews. The seating here is casual and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is focused on Cajun but not really hot Cajun. We had gumbo which gets a a+ from me it’s spice and sweet balance we’re In Perfect combination. I had the sangria which was very typical of southern us sangria as opposed to the flavorings of Spanish sangria different blends of liquors It was refreshing and enjoyable. We are gluten free and we had the gluten free shrimp scampi this was ok but they don’t have gluten free pasta so it’s served on rice additionally the lemon sauce which actually makes many of their dishes special has to be excluded for gluten. I feel a few small tweaks would have made this a haven for people with gluten issues. You have a great restaurant keep up the great service.

It was very busy despite Google maps saying it wasn't. We decided to dine upstairs at the bar. The food was tasty and the service was OK. I really enjoyed the collard greens. It was cooked to its natural sweetness and packed with a kicker. The collard greens were delicious. It took a little while to get our order, bit the people sitting beside me were pleasant.

This is probably one of the biggest restaurants with an outdoor patio and an indoor setting that that I've ever seen. Food was spot on and the service was amazing. It may have been packed in there but They didn't miss a beat on the service. All of the food was fresh and hot. I had requested my food to be spiced up and they did it to perfection. I frequent the one in Ocala and coming to St. Augustine and seeing this same type of service speaks volumes about their commitment to customer service/ food quality as a company. The ambiance/ atmosphere was exceptional as well. It was a cold day and they had positioned heat lamps so that everyone stayed warm and toasty outside.

Sat on the top balcony overlooking the harbour - such a nice spot to sit, have a drink and some nice seafood. Food was got and fresh, the waiter Erin was awesome! The food was good... Just too much sauce for my liking - but I will return!

Our waiter Greg was TOP NOTCH! The chef sent us masterful dishes, they were so delicious! Greg invited us to explore the upper level dining area and balcony. I’d eat here again as I want to try their different dishes 😋

This place has such a pleasant atmosphere and staff! Outdoor seating is wonderful when the weather cooperates! I was surprised to find that fried green tomatoes are good...at least they are here. This is a very nice, peaceful place to enjoy dinner! If you plan to arrive during normal dinner time, plan on a wait. We arrived a little after 4:00 P.M. on the Monday of Thanksgiving week and had a 15-minute wait. By the time we had our appetizers, there was a line just to get on the waiting list.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. For the most part the food was great. Unfortunately I found a hair literally mixed into the food. I am lucky I caught it. For this main reason I question how sanitary this location is. It could be a one time thing but unfortunately this was my experience.

Very cute courtyard, with great hospitality. Food was good, well seasoned, and good portions for the price. Shrimp and scallop with the grit cake was delicious with the sauce and my husband enjoyed the flavors of his shrimp and chicken creole. We were warned that it was really spicy but we eat super spicy and didn't feel a like of heat. But great flavor as well. Drinks left something to be desired. Not quite sure any place we visited had great cocktails.. Love that they're dog friendly on their patio and would definitely recommend and revisit. Only major downside was that there was this overwhelming sewage smell from the perimeter wall and it was really off putting. Like their cocktails, the only other thing we noticed was that their tap water in st augustine was quite unique. Every restaurant and bar tasted the same. Kinda sewage-y. I'm sure it's a well water but yeah, definitely needed lots of lemons to even sip it.

I enjoyed the food. Everything was flavorful and delicious. The Calamari and Shrimp Spinach Dip was a great appetizer. The shrimp scampi was rich and filling. Our service was great and everyone was really polite. I highly recommend this place for seafood dishes or a legit creole style experience.

First off the the server was very pleasant. And informative about all the menu items. His suggestions were very helpful and everyone enjoyed what was selected. Atmosphere was clean and simple. They have a wonderful outdoor seating area, to hot still for me. But I would love to co e back and enjoy during the short cooler periods.

We were lucky to have no wait on a busy Tuesday night. About 6 o’clock. Hostess was super friendly, and gave us a window seat on the second floor. Later we found many people prefer the outside, as there was heaters, live music and very nice twinkle light ambience. (But we were not disappointed to be inside because it was chilly.) Second floor, our server Cory, was excellent. Even though the menu had the descriptions well presented, he went through the entire menu again giving recommendations. We loved most everything. And took pictures of everything. BOUDIN BALLS, FONDEAUX a hit with all GROUPER FINGERS , no Everyone agreed that the SCALLOPS were amazing in a very rich sauce, which he pointed out in advance. Two of us ordered the STUFFED SHRIMP with crab which came with a side of your choice. And we loved it. The portions were very ample. We were all surprised. The drinks are pricey, and a little watery from the two that we chose. The banana foster dessert was over the top. Absolutely wonderful. All in all we were very pleased with this restaurant we had a beautiful view. Great service and amazing food. And everyone that we ran into or seem to be happy. And having a good time! They won’t seat you until your party is there. You can’t call ahead, and parking is a hassle, but it’s all worth it!

Great place to visit. Food was amazing. It was real seafood. Just a small note, be aware the soup and crabcakes might have some shell in them. Pretty sure it's made fresh. But it was only a couple small pieces and not unexpected. There were a lot of small rooms I side with a few tables. Was a great place but some rooms were warmer than others. Ours echoed a bit which made it harder to talk even at our own table. Would suggest sitting outside if the weather is nice. Wonderful atmosphere and live music at a decent level when seated outside.

10/10 rating. Simply delicious and authentic. Flavors are definitely on par with authentic New Orleans dishes. Not pictured but the fried green tomatoes were outstanding. Everything was fresh and I finished every last bite. Definitely worth the wait. Staff was very nice and attentive

One of my favorite places in the United States to eat outdoors. The atmosphere in the evening is just so romantic with all the lights and the gardens. I have never had anything bad to eat here either. Last night we got the seafood dip and filet mignon. It was cooked perfect and everything was tasty. Also check out the videos of the walk there with all the Christmas lights.

About a 30 minute wait to be seated, but worth every minute. It was a cool night, but the heaters were on and they felt great. A talented musician was playing the guitar and harmonica and singing. The food and drinks were fantastic. I had the jambalaya and my wife had the Chicken and Shrimp Creole. Both were fantastic. Some of the best that we’ve had without being in New Orleans itself. We would definitely go there again!

We go to Harry's about once a year when the weather suits because I'd rather sit outside than in a stuffy building, though that's a personal preference. The food here is pretty tasty and the portions are adequate, although I don't see anyone taking leftovers home. Most menu choices are priced $16-20. The service is reasonable and friendly, though it could be improved with a few more staff. On any given day, you will wait 40+ minutes for your entrée and they never bring you more than a half loaf of unremarkable bread while you are waiting. Outside tables are pet friendly. It's a beautiful patio setting and there is generally a light breeze and a lot of shade to keep it comfortable. All in all, it's a decent and reliable choice for lunch, but if I was looking for a place to splurge on a romantic or remarkable dinner, this wouldn't be it.

We had a problem in the beginning, the hostess mixed up our number and gave our table to another guest, after that she told us we would be the next ones to get the table, but we actually waited for more than 20min. Besides this problem, the restaurant is amazing. The food is fantastic and the ambience is so cozy and pretty. The seafood was very fresh. Delicious food! Our waiter was very attentive

For the positive, the waiter was polite. We were recommended this place. I'm not sure why. The food was very salty and ordinary. I was expecting a higher quality of food for the price. The indoor atmosphere is blah. There are much better dining options in St. Augustine. We asked to be seated outdoors and was told no. They would have had to wipe the tables down, which they did about a half hour after we left. I won't be recommending Harry's to anyone.

Amazing food!! I love the shrimp and scallop orleans and the fried green tomatoes. The butter that comes with the complimentary bread is so good. Everything is rich and flavorful. Great atmosphere too with live music on the patio. Only downside is it took awhile to get our food.

Beautiful ambiance outside with string lights and live music. Dog friendly outdoor area. Food was spectacular. I had the cool martini cucumber drink. It was refreshing. Food took about an hour to come out so don't come here if you are on a hurry. Also there was a 45 minute wait to be seated but it was all worth the wait. Prices are reasonable like under $20 for some of the mains. Food style was like new Orleans style. I highly recommend upgrading your side dish for $1 to the fried grits cake. So flavorful. FYI-there's no kids menu.

Wow might be the city's best! Great food and a cozy courtyard. The restaurant was very busy, and it's clear how good it is when so many people are willing to wait upwards of 2 hours. We had great service from Mia. She was handling a lot of tables but still able to treat us right. Good drinks too! Plan ahead for parking or a way into the city as Saint Augustine has been very crowded this week. It's the happening spot!

Where can I start. To say that I would highly recommend this place is an understatement. From the time I entered the restaurant for my first drink to the amazing appetizer followed by perfectly presented dishes that were cooked to perfection and were extremely flavorful. What put me over the top was my fried Oreo beignets they were amazing. Kudos to Patrick for serving us he was great too. My total time there was right around 2 hours. I never felt rushed I never felt like I was waiting too long.

We went on a Tuesday night and we were seated right away. Wade was our server and he was awesome. Great food, wonderful ambience, there's a band or singer at the outdoor area every night. It's a great place for a date night any day of the week! We ordered the french baked scallops and the stuffed shrimp, they were delicious! It was my fiancee's birthday so we were given a free dessert of our choice. One of the best restaurants in St. Augustine and totally deserve the high praises it's gotten!

Finer dining, but it was worth the hour wait. We sat outside and it started to rain, not all of the tables have umbrellas and there is a sign that says the outside seating may be canceled due to rain. The fried tomatoes were delicious. They do have buzzers they give you for waiting in line. They do not take reservations.

The food and service was great! I really enjoyed my Mahi Arugula and side of collard greens. The price was very reasonable. I would stop here again my next visit for dinner. The ambiance of the inside was very classy but casual. I loved the art and decor.

Anytime I’m in St. Augustine old town I have to stop by Harry’s seafood for the best lunch/ dinner the town has to offer! The food here is always made well and delicious, it never disappoints and that’s saying a lot. Anytime I have people from out of town visiting I always recommend Harry’s because it has a little bit of everything! Service/ servers are friendly, hospitable and courteous here. The ambiance is the best part, you’re transported to New Orleans and it’s especially pretty during the holiday season as well! 10/10

Stopped here after shopping. Didn’t realize it’s a chain. Waitstaff are super friendly. Outdoor seating area is lush with greenery. Food is good, but if you want something unique to the area this is not the place to visit. Had the grouper sandwich without a bun. Try the fish dip and ask for cucumbers as a substitute to bread. The dip was my absolute favorite.

Had a great evening with my family of 4. The food was amazing. Service was good until the end of the meal. Then it was like we disappeared. Had to wait a while just to get our check so we could go enjoy the Nights of Lights

Omg!!! I enjoyed the food soo much! It was delicious! The best New Orleans style food I've had! We had an appetizer, drinks, and meals, and they were all delicious! They did not fail. I usually don't like grits, but I read recent reviews about how amazing the food is here, so I took a chance and ordered the shrimp and grits. It was delicious! The grits actually had corn in them and it was so creamy. My boyfriend's dish looked really nice at first but he mixed it all up and started eating before I could snap a pic. If you're in the area, you MUST try Harry's. The outdoor seating in the evening/night is very beautiful and it just gives you a nice vibe. You want to arrive earlier if you want to sit outside because it usually fills up pretty quick. They have live music out there, but if you don't like the loud music, they also have nice indoor seating. The Staff there has a great attitude as well. My party really enjoyed it

We were seated outside with no wait around 1:30 on a weekday. Our server was fairly prompt getting to us. We had our food ordered within less than 5 minutes and received the appetizer about 10 minutes later. The rest of our food arrived less than 10 minutes after that. I could be off on the times, but it all arrived very quickly. Everything was delicious!! Huge portions. Lunch for 2 was about $50 with the appetizer, and before the tip. For what we got, it seemed reasonable. They serve you bread ahead of your meal that was really good. Linen napkins, so this is a nicer place to eat. We tried the fried green tomatoes, which were amazing!!! Tomatoes were very sweet, the breading had a great flavor, the sauce and feta cheese on top were perfect for this dish. I tried the blackened shrimp salad. It was huge!! The shrimp was very tasty, not spicy if that's a concern. If I'm in the area, I would definitely come back here!

  • 5/5 Lauren M. 9 months ago on Google
Definitely recommend 10/10 so good! To start..Fried green tomatoes were some of the best I’ve had. The remoulade paired with feta was a perfect touch. Only wish the tomato was just a little meatier. Next..shrimp and scallops Orleans. My scallops were cooked just right. The blackened seasoning had a little kick, which I loved. Shrimp and grit cakes were also really good. The sauce..yum! Then the red fish with crawfish risotto..paired perfectly. Everything came out quickly and timely. Great service. Reasonable prices. Definitely go!

An old staple in St. Augustine and a must try. It's constantly busy for a reason. Be prepared to wait most weekends specially during busy times/summer. They do not accept reservations just like most restaurants in St. Augustine but I can tell you it will be worth the wait. Seafood is always fresh, crab cakes are delicious and Cajun food dishes that will rival some of the best from Louisiana. We have gone with multiple friends from Louisiana and they all approved. The outdoor patio area is just majestic and great specially during sunset and evenings when it's less hot. They also usually have live music.

  • 5/5 John M. 1 year ago on Google
The last time we tried to eat here there was a 2 hour line. So we were smart and went early (around 5 pm). We were seated right away and had the nicest server. The drinks and food was spectacular. When one guest in our group found their dish to be too spicy the server immediately changed it out. The portions on the rice dishes were amazing. The crab cake entree was a little small in portion, but that is the only complaint from this fabulous Nee Orleans cuisine restaurant!

  • 5/5 Connie C. 1 year ago on Google
Loved Harry's! The food was fresh and well prepared. So many good options. The outside patio is a wonderful spot. Grouper fingers were an excellent appetizer. Also quite enjoyed the crab crusted red fish as well as the shrimp and grits. Even the iced tea was outstanding. Only had a short visit in St. Augustine but managed to eat at Harry's twice.
