First time trying Mission BBQ. It was pretty good. I had a chopped brisket sandwich with fries and beans. My wife and daughter had chicken sandwiches and Mac and cheese. The meat was tender and flavorful. Mac and cheese was very good. The beans were too ketchup for my taste. Fries were better than most. It wasn't too busy and our food was out quickly. The building was clean, and the help was helpful and friendly. We'll be back to try more.

This is my second time eating at Mission Barbecue, this time it was at the one on Blanding. I ordered the brisket (lean) which was good and the chopped brisket. The chopped brisket tasted like burnt brisket ends, chopped up and a lot of barbecue sauce placed on top of it. It was like a scoop of mush to put it nicely.

Idk how it happened but my two meat meal came to like 21 or 24 bucks. That's steak money. It was good, but it wasn't 24 dollars good. We also happened to be there when the clock struck noon. Everyone stands up for the national anthem. At least I got to experience it. Jalapeño sausage was the highlight. Sauces were pretty average though.

Great barbecue! The meat is slow cooked and fresh, and the sides are homemade and delicious. The cornbread was exceptionally delicious and not too sweet. The interior of the restaurant is decorated with American military patches, medals, and photos. Our kids loved it! Highly recommended and not too expensive.

Customer service has improved @ this location. We felt like the staff appreciated our visit. Lidia was fantastic. And the cashier I wish I could remember his name was friendly, unlike most fast food places these days that make you feel like we are interrupting their day. Thank you!!!!!!! Oh and the new shrimp were 😍 amazing

First time eating here and the staff were very helpful and offered me an huge sample of their brisket. And to top it off they gave me a free brownie! The brisket and baby back ribs were juicy and tender. Will be planning to return here soon.

Warm atmosphere is very pro military and fantastic and quality food. The food was out fast. I had the baby back ribs with fries and mac&cheese. All was great. If you have someone who is a veteran and want to eat great food, take them here.

Great experience! We were greeted as soon as we entered the restaurant. Hostess, Emily, explained the ordering process and offered to bring our meals to the table when ready. Emily was very attentive. She was also busy restocking and cleaning the dining area. The food was hot and fresh. It came out shortly after we were seated. All in all great food and superior service.

Food so good it doesn’t need sauce! I can’t say enough about the food, management and service at my local Mission BBQ! Not only were they there for me the day my brother passed away but they have been there for me ever since! They gave me a place to memorialize my brother in an establishment where all our military & service personnel are honored. They recently generously sponsored a community K9s for Warriors donation event that me and another Realtor held. Oh and did I tell you, their food is so, melt in your mouth delicious that is doesn’t need sauce to be good!

I was in town for a week. I tried as many barbecue places as I could. This place was the best. Nice portions, DELICIOUS food, very friendly staff, and they even gave a free little treat because it was my birthday. I went 3 days in a row for lunch.

This was my first visit to Mission BBQ, and they did not disappoint. I had Turkey, Bake Beans, and Cole Slaw. My husband had the Hawaiian Rib Eye, Mac and Cheese, and Potato Salad. Both meals also came with a piece of Cornbread and we also had Peggy's Peach Cobbler. Everything was outstanding, and a sweet girl named Lydia checked on us several times to make sure we had everything we needed. They also have a variety of different BBQ Sauces on the table to choose from. The container their in has a description for each sauce. Some are sweet, some are spicy, and all were very good. They also have a roll of paper towels on each table, so you can dig in and don't have to worry about asking for more napkins. I have to mention Peggy's Peach Cobbler again. If you don't have room for it during your visit, get some to go. You want be disappointed. I would definitely recommend Mission BBQ, and we will be going back.

The BBQ at Mission BBQ is outstanding and the service is outstanding. In our group we ordered ribs, pulled port and brisket and have everything an A+. And since we were celebrating a birthday and it was our first time visiting, we were served banana cream pie. An awesome meal in an awesome place.

This Mission BBQ location is the best. The food is delicious, the service excellent (very military friendly), and a patriotic restaurant too. I have eaten here multiple times and always enjoy it. The pulled pork, the chicken, the brisket, all wonderful. Highly recommend.

My wife and I were visiting my parents who just moved here. They know I love BBQ and took me here for my birthday, and all the way around it was an awesome experience. The barbecue was excellent, and they had a great assortment of sauces. Better yet their sides were actually up to the the same level of quality and flavor as the entrees, which I have found to be very rare in barbecue places. Finally the service was top notch, especially from Dayna who helped recommend the best sauce combinations, made sure everything was ok, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a superior experience. She was a large contributing factor to what I am sure will be many follow up visits to come.

The service was outstanding. We went on 11/25/2022, and there was a lady who worked there with black hair that went above and beyond with her service. She welcomed us, answered any questions we had, and brought out a tray of chocolate brownies for us, on the house, because this was our first time visiting. She was awesome and really appreciated her kindness and warmth. The Smoked Prime Rib and Brisket chop was excellent. I loved the variety of sauces they offered. I loved them so much I asked my wife for a sauce pack for Christmas! Overall, the place was clean, orderly, and welcoming. Plus, it doesn't hurt if the food is good too! Highly recommend, especially for retired/active local first responders and military.

I went to mission bbq with my girlfriend for the first time on my birthday. The front girl Sara was super helpful and amazing. We really appreciate her service. She went above and beyond to delivered our food and to make sure we were content with our meals. Both Sara and her staffs were very attentive. The brisket sandwich is a winner. Also give the meat sampler a try to taste the different meats that they have to offer. I will definitely come back on a weekly basis!

I will start by say that I truly appreciate the dedication that the staff take to lift up our military and country with everything they do but also have GREAT food!!! I have been here many times and not one time been disappointed at all. I have tried many different things on their menu and let me say that they always bring it. If you stop by(in which I highly recommend) you will not be disappointed. They are highly worth the drive a the money.

Loved Mission BBQ. Their Collard Greens, Sliced Turkey, Coleslaw and Cornbread dinner was awesome. Reasonably priced. Restaurant was busy, empty tables were cleaned right away. Restaurant was clean, staff professional and helpful. 👍

The food is….okay! We ordered a brisket sandwich, ribs and chicken, and two kids meals. Everything was okay, nothing to write home about. The cheesy potatoes and Mac and cheese were not good. BUT, the customer service was AMAZING! The manager (i think), came out and spoke to us and gave our kids cookies and brownies after our meal. The people sitting around us were also very friendly, the table we were at featured a picture of their fallen family member. Cool and honorable restaurant concept. Need better recipes, especially for mac and cheese at a BBQ joint! 🤪

Not only was the food amazing (and we found out that every morsel is made from scratch, in house), but the experience is one I will never forget. What a beautiful way to honour our heroes! Thank you to Heidi and her team for the wonderful evening. I feel like I've made lifetime friends and will be eating at Mission BBQ every chance I get, no matter which state I happen to be in!

We wanted to let you know what an amazing person and manager Shelby is. My wife and I went to a nearby restaurant ( close to MISSION BBQ at I295 and Blanding blvd). When we walked in and sat down at this other restaurant, the waitress threw the menus at us. She asked us if we wanted an appetizer? We said no thank you, but can we please get some bread? The waitress immediately turned her head and rolled her eyes and said do you want a appetizer? Again we said no thank you. The waitress took our drink order and filled the cups and left them sitting on the end of the bar. She then proceeded to help other customers while our drinks just sat there with the ice melting and getting watered down. My wife and I looked at each other and said we should go. While walking to the car, we looked up and MISSION BBQ was right next door. We said let's eat here! When we walked into MISSIONS BBQ, we were immediately greeted with a smile and a cheerful voice of Shelby. She asked us how are you doing today? We said well we could be better, we were just treated so rudely by the restaurant next door. Shelby said I'm really sorry to hear that. I was asking Shelby's opinion on the Mac n cheese while I was trying to figure out what to order. Shelby said the Mac n cheese is so delicious it has four different cheese's in it and it's really creamy. After my wife and I placed our order, Shelby looked at us and said I'll be taking care of your lunch today, no charge. It touched our hearts so much, that my wife and I started tearing up. I literally couldn't hardly talk to tell Shelby thank you!!! Shelby has a heart of gold and is full of joy and compassion! You just don't see this kind of exceptional customer service these days. What a blessing that we met Shelby!!! She told my wife and I that she wanted our day to turn around and she certainly made that happen!!! Our meal was absolutely fantastic!!! We are grateful for Shelby's kindness!!!!
