Very nice and friendly place to go have breakfast or lunch. Friendly staff. They check on customers frequently. I made new friends. It's my kind of place! Oh yeah, I'm not a regular customer, but they treated me like I was. They made me feel like I was at home. The coffee is excellent!!

Nothing fancy, just good diner food!! Had the best breakfast, cooked fresh to order, outstanding service (our waitress took our 3 orders with all the changes we requested, no pad to write it down and everything was perfect)! I'll definitely be back!!!

In a sea of random waffle houses Im so glad we stumbled across this establishment with the help of google. Best loaded hash brown breakfast I’ve had in the US. Lovely service and evidently popular with locals. Thank you for a great start to my Florida trip!

Stopped for breakfast. The food & atmosphere was quaint & friendly. My only problem was I felt I wasn't given the same attention as the regulars. The obvious regulars got multiple refills on coffee without asking; I had to ask for my one refill. Everyone gets their toast; I get none. Never asked if I needed anything else & I had to run down my check. Another gentleman came in midway thru my food who was obviously new as well because he didn't know whether to sit or wait. They still hadn't checked on him when I left. If you're a regular, you'll love the place. If you're new, and are ok being overlooked while they joke with everyone else & don't mind waiting a while you'll probably enjoy the food as well as the atmosphere. Otherwise nice little Old School Hole in the wall Diner.

Great little place. The staff was really friendly and you can tell this place has been here awhile. We always enjoy finding little places like these on our road trips.

We only had breakfast but it was pretty good. I always regret not getting a burger when I have a choice and the burgers looked pretty good. Might have to come back for lunch one day. The building looks a little run down, but don't let that scare you away.

Stopped in to order some breakfast to go. So happy we did! Cute, laid back atmosphere. We got big Mike's tater omelet...fed us both easily. Came with toast and yummy grits with plenty of butter! We will be back to try the burgers that the very friendly cook suggested

Great little hole in the wall. Breakfast is pretty hard to beat, and they make one of the best patty melts out there in my opinion. Stop by once, and you'll be hooked; only down side are the hours of operation.

Small privately own restaurant. Serves breakfast till they close in the afternoon. Highly recommend the sausage gravy. Been there several times now and my breakfast has been cooked exactly as ordered. Looking forward to trying the beef tips lunch they serve on Thursdays.

My husband & I ate there this past Saturday for the first time. Food was good & so was the service. We will be back. This place reminds me of the little diners my grandpa took me too growing up. Oddly enough, his name was also Bill! Not too many like that left. This is a hidden gem on the westside of Jax.

Moved to Jacksonville 4 months ago and could not find good food. Stumbled upon Bill's and now I eat here almost everyday. My favorite type of place. Very good food and atmosphere.

This place is a hidden gem! Don't be fooled by the exterior (nor the old south interior). We were greeted warmly at the door, and the great customer service continued throughout our visit. We went for breakfast. It was busy, but not bad at all. They have ALL the breakfast faves, and everything was seasoned to perfection. I got a big breakfast with grits, eggs, corned beef hash, and pancakes. Of course, I ended up taking half home for the next day. I was expecting silver dollar pancakes. Nope! These are like the pancakes grandma made on Sunday morning...thick (like flattened biscuits) and steaming hot. It was all so good. I definitely recommend it. Sorry...I was so excited, I forgot to take photos.

What an amazing find, Bill's diner is! Talk about the epitome of a family restaurant. You will immediately be made to feel right at home. Many of the other diners are regulars and the staff will usually address them by name. The food is homemade and cooked with love! Try any of the daily specials and you'll be amazed. The breakfast is utterly fantastic as well! You must try it if you're ever in the area. You won't regret it!

Bills dinner on Ramona is a great place to have breakfast/lunch, very friendly staff, reminds me of Sunday breakfast at moms house.

If you like to eat local, this is definitely the place for breakfast/brunch. We came in on a Saturday with a decent size group (11 of us), and they were more than accommodating. We had to wait a little bit to get a table together, but it was worth the wait. I'd rather dine here and have to wait a little vs. spending money on a corporation.

Food was good and the service was absolutely amazing they have this waitress hope and she is the fastest I've ever seen and not to mention very sexy

This is an old worn down diner with lots of locals that seem to regularly meet here. The service was slow and the food was average. There was nothing special that will bring us back. Also, the regulars were mostly older men that were playing videos and making fun of Biden. ..this was not my crowd and if its not yours find another diner.

Food was delicious. Great place to grab a quick and tasty breakfast. No offense, not the place to go on a first date.

We stopped for lunch. I had grilled cheese and French fries. I don't usually eat French fries but Bill's serve really good French fries. My husband had chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and fried okra. He said his meal was real good.
