I drove around 2 hours looking for a decent hotel with decent price! I called this one spoke to Donna! I asked her the rooms better be clean before making reservation! She promised me it is!! And she was up to her promise!!! Nice, Clean rooms! Location is great! Priced decent! I recommend this Hotel! Otherwise you’ll be wasting your time and money on some Trap Hotels in the area! Save yourself the trip and check this place out.

Initially, the room was not ideal - toilet ran and no hair drier. We spoke with Sean, one of the managers and he rose to the challenge. He also advised us how to best use the TV to watch a football game we desperately wanted to see. Spectacular customer service!! The facility met all of the basics, too: clean comfortable, and eventually quiet.

Clean rooms, great service from the front desk. The breakfast lady is rude. Not the way you want to start your day with a b+()h in the morning. Everything else was good. That woman needs to be fired.

#1 The staff was great ❤️ but…. #2 The rooms/motel is in terrible shape 🤨. If the details matter to you and yours, do NOT stay here. I booked a suite room and although it had a living room and separate bedroom it did not even have a table/chairs or couch in general area? Not extremely picky but do expect cleanliness and at minimum that simple maintenance is up to par. I have attached pics of what I felt are simple things they can take care of without too much effort. Many surfaces were not wiped down from previous guest and other areas have not been cleaned in a long time. No USB charging anywhere. The furniture (in my room) did not make sense at all. The is carpet everywhere. There is no coffee or water or anything in lobby/restaurant area. (Shut down for COVID? For maint? For what? Seems they could at least have coffee and water. Elevator and general areas need maint and repair. Again, the staff was very nice and attentive but the facility is not what pictures show online. Hope this helps. Safe travels! ✌🏽

Donna provided the best customer service in the entire hotel. She followed up with me to ensure all was good with my room, helped place my luggage in the room, and gave excellent food recommendations. She is an asset to the customer service team, and a main reason for my choice of this particular property.

If I could give this a negative status due to the overnight live in lady. The live in lady is on video being very disruptive and no excuse for her behavior. Will be talking to the owners in the morning of her firing. The outmost disrespectful woman I have ever met. The door hanger is more for display than anything. The housekeeping will try to breach the door every day. Ask for the owners information and get confronted with calling the cops. All this over asking why this is a continuous situation. Desk staff whoever she is need to be fired. I will follow up when the cops get here which they just have. They said I did nothing wrong and the woman behind the desk needs to find a new job. I would like a follow up and to speak with Sean. Which she refused to give the info to. I have video which they won't let me upload here. After all said and done the cops left cause I did nothing wrong here. This employee should be held accountable for her actions here today. And should definitely not be behind a desk at any job in her future. I cannot disclose her name at this time. But in the near future I can update my review with her information. Regardless this was the most upsetting experience I have ever had at a hotel. And if I had to book again it definitely wouldn't be here. The outmost disrespectful staff will steer my away from such a hotel. And at the same time this was happening she was super disrespectful to patrons trying to check in as well. A couple left due to her disrespect. I do hope the hotel makes this right. Cause I will be following up with the booming company and uploading the videos to the proper personal.

First time staying at this location in Jacksonville. The front counter person she was amazing great personality I'm very big on customer service so if you don't have great customer service it's a possibility I won't return to your establishment. I did not like the layout of the rooms. The free breakfast was great they kept the area clean. So this is a non-smoking hotel, this is where it gets to be a little shady. I was outside at 5:00 a.m. drinking coffee and smoking a cigarette and there was so much activity. I know there would be activity from the work crews that were staying in this location, but the foot traffic for young ladies and unsavory people was heavy I felt very unsafe This location is a great place to stay if you're not driving. there are roughly around 10 to 15 different eating locations within walking distance shopping as well. I chose this location because of the proximity to the Mayo clinic that was affordable.

We had about 4 rooms here at the beginning of June. We had people from Ohio, IL, CO, NC to attend a friends funeral. The staff was accepting and gave some of the rooms multiple chances when they didn’t have to. They worked with us on using the table area and the outdoor patio for some that got in late. The general manger deserves a raise for her compassion and support during the worst week of most of our lives. Job well done! Was a great stay despite our terrible reason for visiting.

Roaches , roaches , roaches!! Staff is friendly, offer military discount, location was good near highway. Rooms are very dated, heck whole hotel is dated. Repairs need to be done, beds not comfy, blankets were like just having sheets no comforters, no hand towels in rooms or hand soap, vending machines were empty even though we were told where they were, Overall it served it purpose and for a late last minute stop, We would not have stayed if it wasn’t already midnight when we got there

I️ booked this hotel thinking it’s not that bad because it’s at least a 3 star almost a 4, but it was definitely not my best experience. The first night I️ started getting small bites all over my body and I️ ignored it because my skin is sensitive anyways. Then me and my fiancé went left for breakfast in the morning while the housekeeping were cleaning rooms, and we come back to only clean towels and they empty out our trash. That was all they did. Normally I️ come back to my hotel room with new sheets and my bed made at any other typical hotel but not this one. At first we weren’t complaining, we were just accepting the fact that they weren’t changing our sheets. Until the 3rd night my fiancé got the worst bites on his neck. That’s when I️ started getting worried and we searched up what bed bug bites look like and it definitely look like the ones we both got. His reaction was definitely worst and we might even had to go to the doctor to get that checked out. I️ didn’t want to leave a complaint because the staff at the front desk were the nicest people, but the hotel needs to do better at cleaning the rooms. Sheets should be changed and washed and disinfected better on a daily. There was other little issues but my biggest concern is getting the rooms cleaned better.

Black mold. I got in super late almost falling asleep behind the wheel tired. I checked into this hotel and when I got into my room I immediately noticed an odd smell. My partner and I looked at each other and questioned if we should go back downstairs and get a different room but we were beyond exhausted. The next morning when I opened my eyes up it quickly became apparent what that smell was all about. The whole ceiling was covered with spots of black mold.

I don't understand some of the low ratings and complaints. We were just there over the weekend, and only minor issue was the wifi service, it was very limited. If your looking for a high class hotel then the Ritz. Hilton etc are those places to go. This place staff was friendly, accommodating. Room was clean and above expectations. Breakfast was good. So thumbs 👍🏼 for this place.

I am a Diamond member with Wyndham which entitles me to late checkout, a suite upgrade and a welcome snack/beverage. I was given none of these despite asking, instead I was served with a side of attitude from the manager. Safe to see I will not be back to stay in the rooms with the rusted lamps, sticky bathroom floors and dirty sheets. Whoever hired these jokers needs to be fired.

The night Staff was very pushy, I thought it strange they wanted my guests IDs. And told me I wasn't allowed to have visitors. as a Diamond member I deserve the mind your own business hospitality. I'm not sure what kind of people they have coming in ,I'm here for business and I felt they wanted. me to jump through hoops for a shower an 7 hours of sleep. The morning staff however was very friendly and considerate. So best to book a room during the day before the night shift gets there.

Very nice stay. Room was very clean and quiet. Michelle (I hope I spelled that correctly) was so pleasant during checking and every time I walked in, she greated me by name. Breakfast was a little disappointing but it has been since covid. Just glad that something was offered. Will stay again when in Jax again.

Service was good. Staff were friendly and helpful with the exception of the rude lady stocking breakfast. Rooms were decent with comfortable beds. Location is good and the restaurants within walking distance are a plus. Overall not bad for the price.

We are Wyndham travellers and this trip from Canada to Florida and back has had a few disappointments - so we were nervous about this stay as it was a very good rate. COULD NOT HAVE BEEN BETTER. Clean, fresh and wonderful staff - including Margaret who kept the breakfast room immaculate and refreshed. CAN SCORE THIS ONE HIGH ENOUGH!!!!!! need more stars!!!!!!

We had a pleasant time. Staff was very friendly. The waffle maker was a nice little touch. The room was very clean.

Rooms are dated and in need of repair and upgrading. Arrived late and stayed one night in a room that smelled of some type of solvent, ammonia I believe. Was too tired to complain and switch rooms but the hotel should never have rented the room in this condition in the first place. Will avoid this property in the future until it's fully renovated and updated. Poor value in its current condition.

I went to the hotel, was told they don't accept locals. I was given a room that had mold, urine smell. I asked to change rooms, was told to leave. No refund would be given. Staff was rude, stormed in my room and told me it was a mistake to allow me to come in the hotel. Wyndham hotels need a overhaul.

After a long drive, the fact that they allowed an early check in was a huge plus. A huge ground floor room near the lobby was also nice. Numerous amenities. Nice shower stall. Soft and clean towels. The only negative was the fact that the bathroom door was hard to close and then would stick, requiring a great deal of effort to get open again.

The hallways smell strongly of mildew and they need to invest in dehumidifiers. The room was so humid that the sheets felt damp all night which made everything very uncomfortable and cold. It seemed like they try to cover up the humidity by turning the air up really high. Other than that the rooms were relatively clean and the front desk staff were kind and professional.

Our usual choice not being available, we took a chance on Wyndham. We found the finishes to need a little upgrading & the rooms were little smaller BUT the service was outstanding . The personalized service & cleanliness really shined. At check in, the lady at the desk went out of her way to help us find the best, most secure place to park our truck & open trailer. Showing us how the cameras covered each area. The room & bathroom were spotless. The housekeepers were exceptionally responsive. Tracking us down to bring us the toothpaste we requested at breakfast. The coffee was delicious & waffle station was clean & well stocked. All very friendly with ready smiles. Nowadays that kind of service is rare. We travel to Jax fairly regularly & have found a new place to call home while we’re there!

Front desk is absolutely disgusting. They treat people like trash. There is zero customer service. It is like they are doing you a favor by doing their job. Lots of attitude. Lots of entitlement. You can tell they don't belong in the service industry.

This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had in my 30 years of living!!!! The customer service in the evening is horrible! I dealt with this lady literally treating me and my 4 year old daughter like we didn’t belong. So much that i decided to check out early from a stay that i originally extended. After I checked out the next day i realized I couldn’t find my drivers license. I call the hotel and ask was it there. The same lady that checked me out EARLY acted as if she had no idea who I was when I literally told her how I felt about how the woman treated me oh yea did I mention this samee lady was right there as this other woman interrogated me asking me personal questions then tried to make it seem like it was company policy. How do you not know who I am after I state the situation. Then she say she doesn’t see the drivers license I tell her I’m going to come there to look for my license you know thennnn this lady says I threatened her. All I said was I was going to come there after I left the pharmacy. How’s that a threat? I ended the call to finish my business at the pharmacy and I call back to make sure she understands I did not threaten her because I was headed there to search the outside perimeter for my license and did not want to be met with the police. This lady sits on this phone and says I’m not gonna go back and fourth with you so at this point I got upset and decided to write a longgg review and not go back to the hotel. I’ll just get another drivers license but I’ll neverrrrer sleep there again !!!

The location was perfect, making the reservation on the phone was ok, the hotel looks fine on the outside, it has enough parking space as well. Check in was a breeze with Micheline. Hotel is a bit outdated but the room and bedding looked clean...until I found a cockroach in the bathtub when I was about to take a shower! I have a phobia so I was having a hard time falling asleep after that but I was so exhausted of driving I didn't have energy to go to another hotel. I finally fell asleep, waking up to my partner, who was saying get out of there, because he found another one in the bathtub again in the morning. So we left in 5 min. Trying a bit of the continental breakfast, but honestly we only had a toast and a coffee after our experience. Cleanliness is one of the most important amenity (if you can even call that) in a hotel, so I hope they will working on finding a good exterminator, because like this there would be no returning customers!

  • 4/5 Philip M. 1 year ago on Google
Fairly priced, clean albeit a bit of an older hotel. Rooms are in good shape, sheets and bed were clean and tidy. Continental breakfast was appreciated but limited. Pool was closed when we went, would have been nice to know upon check in. Good for a stop and go stay over.

The reason for the 1 star is because i can't understand why they have no tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms. That's a complete deal breaker with me. Never will i use them again unless that policy changes... the girl on the desk when i checked in was fabulous and deserves credit for being a great member of staff.

Room was big enough and clean, I would definitely stay here again. Breakfast was frozen burritos, waffles, cereal, yogurt and couple other things, but was important to me is a clean room. Affordable price too. 1 minute walking distance to Waffle House and Applebees. Staff is wonderful.

Clean room, nice and helpful staff Not much of a breakfast if you're a family but good enough for adults. Ice machine was broken and that was a drag.

Not sure how this hotel has the rating it does. You can tell they tried to remodel, but it was horribly done. There’s A LOT of homeless walking through the parking lot, the elevator looks like the floor could fall off at any minute around the edges, our room was smoke free but still smells of smoke, it was HOT when we first walked in the room, the room was soooo musty and damp that I almost couldn’t breathe, the bed felt wet it’s so damp, the lamps had rust on them, remote didn’t work, there was a black residue on the ceiling, and a spider crawled out from under the blankets when I pulled them back. All in all we were not comfortable here.

  • 1/5 Kathy S. 2 years ago on Google
No free breakfast as described on priceline. The front desk knows about it and told me to go to vending machine in the back. I was overcharged and they wouldn't fix it. I paid for a hot breakfast I didn't get. The doors on the rooms are uneven with with slits so you can hear people doing their private matters as you walk by. The room is clean.

Great location. The staff are very courteous and helpful. I stayed here for a couple days on business and leisure. I do recommend this location. There is a few restaurants within walking distance.

Was very shocked after I got to the hotel. The picture shown of the hotel on the website is absolutely NOT indicative of what the hotel actually looks like. The location is just great, but I wouldn't ever stay there or refer anyone to stay there. I'm use to a more quality hotel and the Baymont didn't give me that!!!!

  • 4/5 J D Di A. 2 years ago on Google
The human staff was great. Room was very clean. The elevator and halls were spotless. Other than the green eyeballs on the microwave, that followed my movements around the room, everything was fine. I put a bag in front of "the microwave eyes". No idea what that was, nor what it was about, I only know I didn't like it. On a creepy scale from 1 to 5, it was a 5 for extremely creepy. Has anyone seen this? Does anyone know what it means or what it is for?
