Nope, don't do it! The girl at the front desk was pleasant and helpful, this is about the only positive about this location, well, other than the fact that they have coffee available all day. The owner of the property has construction people staying on site, hotel employees have their friends over for pool time at night, and they do not get along! Screaming and yelling directly outside of my door while these folks fought last night, ended up having to call the police. Just to be clear, had these been other guests of the hotel, this would not have been included in the review, however, due to the fact that this was self-inflicted by employees and ownership, I felt it notable. I had to go to front desk and ask for cleaner and a scrub brush so that I could clean my shower head, as it clearly had not been cleaned since purchased, water barely trickled out. Bugs. I travel for work, over 80 nights in hotels this year alone and understand that bugs are a part of the process, especially in Florida. However, last night at around 3:00 a.m. while I was laying awake from the extremely uncomfortable bed and pillows, I felt something scurry underneath my back, swiped it away and fell back asleep out of sheer and utter exhaustion, hoping it was a bad dream. This morning when I went to make my bed, the blood on the sheets indicated that this was not a bad dream, but reality. Cigarette butts and trash throughout the property. Does not look like it has been maintained in years. I could go on and on, but I think I've made my point. Owners, take some pride in your establishment!

This was the worst hotel that I have ever stayed at in my whole entire life the rooms were extremely nasty and we had to be moved three different times the first room that we went into the covers were nasty and dirty they had cigarette Burns in the quilt and also on the sheets the bathroom was very small and it wasn't even clean the door handle was coming off of the bathroom door the walls were dirty and we also saw bugs. We went to the management staff and they tried to move us to another room well we went to look at that room it was even worse there was a white substance all over the dressers and all over the nightstands so we couldn't stay in that room so they moved us to another room and it still wasn't the best we had to go out and buy our own cover because we didn't want to sleep on theirs and again there were cigarette Burns and cigarette holes in the quilt and the sheet that you sleep under as well the only reason we didn't leave was because all the hotels were booked up there are people outside playing loud music having a fiesta the hallways were extremely dirty there was trash everywhere someone left a shoebox the elevator was dirty inside too there are people double parked in the parking lot and to be honest with you it appeared as if that hotel was a crack house the pictures are extremely misleading there is no breakfast buffet and they tell you you have to request I'll grab and go breakfast but with the conditions of the room and the people we saw that were supposed to be cleaning the room it's so wonder why the rooms are so dirty and disgusting I will never stay here again I would not recommend anyone stay here because you will be disappointed this was the worst experience with the hotel that I have ever encountered you have been warned save your money go to another hotel and stay away from this one. I took pictures of the condition of the room and I will be sharing them with a news crew this place needs to be shut down for good.

All the lamps were old and rusted. Bathroom faucet, clothes rack and even the ironing table were old and rusted out too. People smoking all over the place occupant to the left was smoking weed all day and night and to the right would not stop screaming and howling because they were so drunk. Management did come by once because everybody was complaining about them but they kept on for a really long time. Water was seeping between the floor boards. Place really looked like it needed a complete make over. I guess they tried fixing some things it just was not enough at all. For example they had a little microwave and a fridge and tv and some furniture but desk chair was broken paint was peeling off walls and doors. Matress are old stiff and make noise like they need oil on there coils. Hallways with bad or no illumination at all. Had a pool which was not opened to the public but, it was uncovered and full of water so it could be fatal if a kid decides to take a dip and something bad happens anyone can jump that guarding fence.

The price was what drew me to take a room here for a couple of nights. The structure on the exterior is worn and torn here and there although that isn't what you see when you pull up. For first sight it looks fine. It's only when you've seen the photos in here you begin to look for the deterioration of materials from the salty air and other elements Florida experiences throughout the year every year. For those who have lived along the Eastern Seaboard most of their lives it's not an uncommon occurrence. Someone from another state in other parts of the country see it differently. They view it as disrepair (and fairly accurate) and neglect (maybe maybe not). The weather here in Florida certainly does take it's toll on buildings, vehicles and the environment. It's a costly maintenance. However it shouldn't reflect poorly on the services received here. From the time I checked in yesterday through the day today I've only enjoyed to he staff and their anxious willingness to be friendly, cordial and entertaining. All with a genuine smile and that matters a lot these days. The pitting of the metals in the rooms I agree should be addressed and perhaps a special cleaner to remove as much of it as possible but where there's salt water there's rust and corrosion. Maintenance budgets aren't what they used to be 20/30 years ago. The outrageous costs which could be considered gross extortion for the shoddy repair work offered these days is enough to break the profits in a way where a business could surely go under. I wouldn't want to be faced with only the rates the Hyatt would run so I tend to overlook the details that do not matter to me and focus on what I'm getting for my money. This was an exceptional price for a motel stay and I'm grateful I didn't have to pay exorbitant rates to bridge me between my old apartment and the new which lagged in availability. I'm cool with a little aged character as long as the roof doesn't collapse on my head. The beds are comfortable enough and the room was clean. The staff is awesome and life is good.

Let’s just start by saying I am a diamond member. I made a reservation at this hotel for the Florida/Georgia game and so did other friends and family. So while tailgating I get a email my reservation was canceled due to my card declined. So I called the hotel to ask why didn’t nobody give me a courtesy call saying something was wrong with the card on file. Because I told her I actually was gonna pay with a different card when I check in and whoever the lady work that night told me I should have called. I told her that doesn’t make since if I’m coming to stay. Why would I call. It was a simple fix, all she had to do was give me a courtesy call and I could have given her a different card. But she loved her job so much she didn’t take the time to call So she said we sent a email saying it was canceled. So you spent all that time when all you had to do was call me. She was pretty rude about it so I told her to have herself a good night. If you’re gonna book here make sure you use a card you gonna pay with because they will cancel your reservation with out calling. If you will be checking in late. But at the end of the day my family told me they didn’t wanna be there because the rooms had mold. So thank you Quality inn for doing me a favor by canceling my reservation but no worries I’ll never neither will my family ever book here again. I was able to find another nicer hotel, paid a little more but it was definitely worth it. I’ve stayed at many choice hotels locations and this has never happen before. Good thing there were other available hotels

My room was discussing. There was toilet paper shoved in the peep hole. The smoke detector was taken off. There is a nice gap under the doors to get into your room that bugs or anything small could come into your room. There are bugs in the room. The elevators carpet is stained and the buttons are sticky. There are other people here that I personally didn’t feel comfortable being here. I recommend not coming here unless you absolutely have to.

This place is absolute GARBAGE … the bathroom floor was soaking wet upon arrival… I quickly found out due to no shower curtain. Had to buy my own batteries for the remote to get TV to work .. the coffee maker leaked water everywhere. I made the front desk aware of my issues and they were never addressed. Stayed two nights and never saw housekeeping. The walls are dirty and people were banging on walls and being loud most of the night. I wish I had something positive to say .. I just can’t believe they charge what they charge to stay and have the audacity to call it “quality” Inn.

Very disappointed. Quality Inns over all have been a descent place to stop while traveling. This location was not. 1st room given had cigarette burns on the comforter, no towels in bathroom, leaking something down the wall. They gave us another room. 2nd room did have towels, still had dirt all on the floor, toilet ran all night. We did not get much rest at all but, was exhausted from traveling all day. Would not waste your time or money on this location.

This is the worse hotel around. I couldn’t stay. I got out of my car and said, “this place is a dump!”. It was in a very awkward, almost hidden location and I found out that local druggies used it so often that now there are signs posted all over stating that “if you live in Jacksonville, you can not stay there”! It was part of a package reservation through United Packages which is Priceline. Thankfully, the hotel manager cancelled my reservation and I was refunded. I had to find another hotel, last minute. There are huge areas of stucco missing, the pool is closed and the rooms are all exposed to the outside. The room door was all scratched up showing the many coats of paint below. It looked as though the door had been entered forcefully. Inside, they simply covered up the bad with tile. I did not feel safe.

    1. Dirty bathroom with dirty coffee maker. The tea bag placed there was already soaked and leaking on the tray. 2. The hair dryer was not working and I requested another one 3. Paid for a non-smoke room but was given a room which someone already smoked and it was heavily bleached to conceal the smell. 4. Couldn't sleep because the AC almost caught fire, it sparked severally and the room was smelling of smoke around 3am in the morning. Called the reception with the phone in the room, no one picked up. Called the front desk number on their Google page, no one picked up. It was very chilly and I could not get out because I 'd have to go outside the building for me to enter into the reception so I stayed awake so I don't get killed I'm my sleep because of an AC malfunction which resulted in smoke in the room 5. Reported it to the front desk officer once it was morning and I was told her manager will contact me since I booked directly from choice website because I didn't feel safe and will be issued a refund. No one has called me yet. 5. Told her my priority was to make sure the AC in the room was fixed because someone else might not get lucky. Room number is 203 Summary The fact I had to keep leaving my room to report issues in a span of 2 short nights is not acceptable, what would have happened if I stayed longer. This is a no no and I'm glad I didn't suffocate in my room due to the malfunction in their appliances

Nasty hotel for having to pay $217 for 2 night stay. We arrived around 9 pm with no clean towels in the bathroom and the phone didn’t work so my husband had to walk to the front desk to tell them we needed towels. took them about an hour. There were roaches. Stains on the bedding. Literally the “comforter” on the bed was a gold curtain. It had the hole for a curtain rod to go into it. Like RATCHET. Also. The A/C kept freezing. It got so hot we had to just clean the A/C ourselves. The tub and shower head looked as if it had NEVER been cleaned. And the hard floors throughout the room clearly had never been mopped. My kids feet tops&bottoms were BLACK from playing around in the room🙄. NEVER AGAIN. choice hotels/quality inn will never receive another dime from my family. Also their pool was broken, so the kids were BUMMED about that. Horrible

Get power wash done outside of the rooms and everywhere. Rooms smells bad. Staff is friendly. Some of the doors doesn’t work. I had roam around to the office multiple times and finally they gave a different room which smelled very bad so I had to stick to the room even though the card to enter doesn’t work. Finally they gave another room next day which was far better. Definitely the place needs a power wash outside which would at least feel you are not in some dark area. You should be Lucky to get a room which doesn’t smell. I surely wouldn’t come back to this place even if the price is low.

The service desk young lady was very nice so were the cleaning people. Good tv hot water in shower was nice. I had to ask for towels no biggie and elevator worked. Sacked bags with food for breakfast for covid - understandable. When my husband went to use the microwave a roach crawled up his arm and he was very upset. We wont be coming back.

This place should be condemned. Run down overpriced and the rooms were full of mold and dirty, Cracked walls and the door looked like someone used it for target practice. The coffee pot hadn't been cleaned there was an old filter. The vent in the bathroom hadn't been cleaned caked on molded dust, a big water bug in the bed. I wouldn't recommend this place to no one. It was less than 1 star. Very nasty! We didn't want the free breakfast in fear of health issues.

Came here for the georgia florida game, I will never return to this hotel. The room had mold all in it from the walls ceilings lampshade everywhere, Room service could have wiped mold. The bathroom only had one electrical outlet and did not work. Look like a child had colored with a crayon on the wall was not cleaned. Went to use the restroom, and water was dripping on my back from the toilet above us and had created a water pocket in the ceiling paint. You can come here and stay at your own risk.

Out of the way, but close enough to be near all necessities. Nice feel to the place. Wasn't built in the 20s, but looks like it. Reasonable prices. I have wonderful memories of this particular Quality Inn over the course of several years, having spent multiple weeks at a time there with a special lady-friend. Have, also, appreciated the attention given to us by a long-term employee, who remembered us from the very first time we checked in at her hotel. I'll have life-long memories of our having been there.

⚠️ These are the pictures they should have in the description! It is very unfortunate when a cleaning staff and front desk staff are unaware of basic human health requirements. Our first room had black mold growing by the headboard, mildew and hair and dust covering the nightstand and phone, and food and grease caked up on the tv remote! The front desk worker kindly moved us to another room but that room also was inhabitable and he assured us it was up to par! More stains were found on the walls that looked like mold, multiple stains and hairs on the sheets and comforter along with holes in them, the bath tub was extremely dirty, there was dried up toothpaste all over the sink, and the door looked like a burrito exploded on it!

Staff was great. 5 stars for them. Opened pool for us so kids could swim for 30 minutes. (We arrived after normal pool hours) While pool was nice, we had picked this hotel because website said it had a hot tub. It HAD one. Looks like it hasn't worked in a long time. Rooms were clean enough, but could have been much better. It had an odd smell. Fixtures and furniture were worn. Glad it was just a quick stop for some rest. Breakfast bar was adequate and clean. Again staff members were awesome!

It’s a budget hotel, and I wouldn’t call myself boujee, but my husband and I could stand about 15 mins total in this place. The entire place smelled- in some places of weed, but most of it was cigarettes, chlorine and/or mildew. Our original room, room 107 smelled so strongly of mildew we had to go up and ask for another room. Our second room wasn’t much better in smell… Nothing was clean, there were bugs, the outlets were broken for phone, alarm clock, etc.. The ONLY redeeming thing about this place was the very kind woman up front. It’s certainly not the clerks fault and she was very accommodating, apologetic, understand and gave no qualms about refund. For that, I’m Very grateful.

This place needs total do-over. It is very rough. Definitely the worst Quality Inn I've ever stayed at. If I was in ownership or in the board I would consider selling this property. I believe that puts a black eye on the Quality Inn standards.

  • 1/5 Patrick S. 1 year ago on Google
Look, to be honest- the whole choice privileges is some what a joke, they have no standards to cleanliness or structure. I will share pictures with you too. The area is like a Crack town around it. Drove 7+ hours paid in advance, just to be greater by disgust. Also stayed 4 night cause paid in advance The key had to be programed 3 of the 4 nights to get in the room. Let the photos speak for themselves Also- bring a epi-pen if you are allergic to anything. ( they also turn the air off in the middle of the night.) All in all I would highly recommend sleeping in your car. Forget the post of they had bugs- roaches run freely around Their is a gap of 1" under the front door. If you stay here and don't read this post, Don't complain when I told you so.

Hotel aesthetics definitely gets a C- but the staff, including the 2 managers I actually encountered, were all very pleasant. We're right across from the JSO sub station and while The Nights End, Days Out and America's Worst look suspect somehow Quality Inn and their neighbor ES managed to look and feel safe. That's all I ask as a traveling contractor. Just be clean and safe. I just wanna get some rest. Mission accomplished. Kirk out.

I can’t put zero stars. I checked in late and the room was still dirty. Came back 8hrs later and still the exact same way. Dirty drawers, unmade beds, dresser in the middle of the floor, dirty sink looked like vomit, no toiletries at all, ac was blasting, broken light fixtures, this mess was pathetic beyond words. Where can I upload the pics. Keep your money. Save yourself a major headache. This place should be closed down.

This place is under rated, you get what you pay for. I stayed almost two weeks. Rooms where nice ,had good room service. The hotel was quiet. Come stay here and make this place a 4 star hotel

  • 3/5 Shawn M. 7 months ago on Google
The hotel is an older location. The stay was not bad, but if you're used to Hilton style hotel rooms, this isn't for you. For traveling construction workers, this is a perfect location to stay at. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

I was very happy with my stay here. The staff members were all amazing. Being a deaf person, it's not always easy to communicate. The whole staff was awesome and accommodating. My room was very nice and clean. I would definitely stay here again. I enjoyed the morning waffle makers for breakfast

My favorite service has always been from ! I visited on 2/4 for my birthday weekend and was amazed by their service! Upon entering the suite, which was upgraded to a larger one, I was greeted with balloons, champagne, tiramisu and fresh flowers! It was worth every penny from the moment I stepped in!

First room we booked and slept in did not have a working air conditioner. After one night of sweating, we asked to have it repaired or change rooms. They switched our room to a 3rd floor. Lots of stairs. Breakfast items were not diabetic friendly at all. The toilet didn't flush in the new room unles you stuck your hand into the back and fiddled with the flush valve. Beds were comfortable. Had a fridge. Better than sleeping in your car.

Everything outside of the room is dated and in need of care. The smell in the elevator had me concerned on the way to my room, but luckily there was no problem there. Oh the phone in the room didn't work and they never attempted to repair during my stay.

  • 1/5 enoc c. 1 year ago on Google
Our room had an unpleasant odor and a rusty door that had to be shoved open. The toilet did not work, neither did the phone. We complained and were moved to another room with a rusty broken shower head and a dark dingy tub. The towels were also subpar, as were the sheets and pillows which were stained. The room key did not work after a night even though it was kept in a separate pocket away from phones and keys to avoid demagnitizing it. Overall, a very poor experience that I would not recommend to anyone.

  • 1/5 Samantha P. 1 year ago on Google
Where to begin...the people next door were loud and kept me up all week...I would've called the front desk to complain but my phone lines were CUT. Then there were the roaches....and I am 80% sure there were large blood stains on the mattress 🙄 There were a lot of vagrants wondering in the area which you can not anticipate if you do not know the area and are just looking for a deal. Overall, you get what you pay for and I would definitely not recommend this establishment. The staff WAS very nice though...the only good thing I can attest to.

Hotel was disgusting and unsafe. Upon check-in, we went through 3 rooms until we found one that didn't smell like pot. The third room had many issues, but I was willing to overlook them if they'd just fix the smoke detector and toilet. I notified housekeeping who said they notified maintenance and that it would be taken care of. Upon returning from my business dinner, nothing had been repaired and the front desk manager knew nothing about it. At this point it is after 8pm and it would not be possible to fix until tomorrow. A non-functioning smoke detector and toilet are a deal breaker. Not to mention the missing light bulbs, broken fixtures, filthy floors, dirty linens, inoperable refrigerator, spider webs, noisy hard beds, broken hot tub, pool is out of service due to an "incident" involving 911 the night before and it has to be drained and refilled??? Enough is enough. We notified the front desk we were checking out as they didn't have anything better to offer us for a fourth room.

Poor location. Shady characters ganging out on the street. Door kept sticking and couldn't hardly get it to open. Inside of Check in area was very nice. Room was neat and clean. Smelled very nice, not like cigarettes. Landscaping could be much improved and work needed done outside the rooms. Ice machine didn't work. No hot breakfast; danishes, cold cereal , and juice.

The clerk was nice. She understood. I took off scared. I explained to her what happened. I called back later when I got back on the highway being shocked up by this guy a customer staying there ready to fight me blah blah blah never met the guy before in my life. Thought I was follow him. I just trying to look for the room. the clerk said she called the police and banned him off the property. I canceled the reservation, hope to get my $80 back on my card this week.

There was no hot water in my room. Our friends in the room next to us tissue between the sheets in bed so obviously no one made the bed properly or change the sheets as expected. The Hotel was back a dark and scary Road. Arriving in the daytime may have made the whole situation better. I could have turned around and gotten another room at another facility.

Family members booked this hotel for our stay before a cruise. I was skeptical with all bad reviews but it was a nice simple hotel to stay for the night. It is older and has some scrapes, scratches, dents, and rust but it was super clean and neat and did not see any bugs at all. The lady at the front desk was also really nice and asked me twice if I needed help with my bag(I packed too much lol).

  • 4/5 Isabella V. 3 months ago on Google • 1 review New
Yesterday before going into the hotel we went into the reviews and I was scared of going into the hotel on how bad the reviews were. When I got into the hotel I realized that the hotel was into its category. Rooms are clean, no outside sounds, breakfast was good, the staff was really good too. If you’re looking for a hotel to sleep and then leave afterwards then this is perfect but if you’re not looking for this then you have to look for another one.
