I was here for business working with AT&T with my team . The check-in was easy. The reception staff were friendly and courteous. The room was clean and fresh. The room was also spacious and inviting. Breakfast was what to be expected during Covid season. I enjoyed my stay and would gladly return to and recommend this location to others. I would like to thank everyone, also I would like to thank Front desk manager Stacy Williams she is a great person. Thanks Stacy, as well General Manager Brian Brooks. Thank you all

This review is mostly for the Bar. Today was my second day coming down to the bar this trip. Carolyn and Danny are amazing at what they do. They truly know how to work as a team and help each other out. It got pretty busy and I was impressed by both of them on how they handled it. The lemon garlic flavored wings were amazing. Don’t ever get rid of that sauce please!! I will definitely continue to choose this hotel as my preferred stay. Customer service is everything and they have it on point. Thank you both and thank you Crowne Plaza.

I only stayed one night. The hotel lobby is clean and the room was perfect for what I needed. I was not pleased with the state of bathroom. The exhaust fan didn't work which I think lead to the rusting of door hinges and a strange film on the ceiling. The shower head was cheap and there was exposed thread tape hanging from an attempt to stop a leak. There are ceramic tiles pulling away from the wall that could become a hazard for someone or children. The actual faucet in the shower seems like it is just going to pull away from the wall. Finally, it looks like there was a leak in the bathroom above mine at some point with a bad repair job done. There is bubbling in the ceiling paint. I let the front desk know when I checked out since I was only in the room for about 9 hours or so. They told me that they would let maintenance know. I think they should have refunded the stay since the bathroom was so bad. There are safety issues with staying in such a room. Hopefully it gets fixed and you all don't have these issues. I expect more from a hotel. The experience is part of the stay. Not just a nice bed to sleep on. I was not there long enough to enjoy the restaurant. It looks nice with a decent looking menu.

Our stay started badly before we ever got there. We traveled to Jacksonville on an overnight train for a 6:00 PM wedding so we could not wait until 3:00 PM to get into our room. For this reason, months in advance, I reserved two nights. I called on Thursday to make (very, very) late arrival arrangements but the clerk cancelled Friday night & guaranteed early arrival. When we got there we were told no early access. Very tired, hungry, and now angry I explained the situation. The manager (?) took me aside & said she usually doesn't help people with bad attitudes (seriously?) but if we'd wait 15 minutes she'd get us into a room. One bed was stripped, unmade. We asked housekeeping for help directly so as not to get someone in trouble with that viper manager who certainly doesn't realize she's in the HOSPITALITY industry. We were happy to tip the housekeepers well as they were they only ones who took good care of us. Housekeeping staff were lovely. Room was comfy. Restaurant was excellent.

The hotel is old. While the lobby looks nice the rooms are old. I could not sleep in my room. The matters had to be at least 20 years old as was the chair and bathroom. Needs a major up grade. Only good thing is the shuttle to the airport. On the club level don’t get anything. The lounge is closed no breakfast nothing. Stay at one of the new hotels.

This is my review as of 4/7/23. The room was just okay. I brought my pet with me so I expected to do a little wiping down and spraying at check in. The room had a sort of mildew smell when we checked in, but the smell faded as the week went as I sprayed and cleaned. The food is good and fresh from the restaurant. Customer service is good. The only issue is, the website states that they offer free breakfast for guess but I was told on our last day that ONLY 2 BREAKFAST COUPONS PER DAY PER room is given. That would have heavily influenced my decision to book here had I knew this upfront as I am traveling with myself and two children. I saw lots of families here I’m guessing they did not know this either. The website needs to update this, there are plenty of other places to stay in Jacksonville that offer ALL guess breakfast. If they fix clean better fix the smell in the rooms and update the website all stars can be awarded.

This was a last minute stop for my family and I. We were so impressed!! Everything was on point . The staff was the most friendly and kind and helped in any way. The food was excellent! The drinks at the bar perfect. The pool was huge, clean and peaceful. Beds so comfortable. Breakfast was amazing and quick. We will be back! Definitely 5 + stars.

Started off A bit rocky. When I called to make a reservation I was being quoted a price almost $60 more than what I saw online. When I couldn't understand what blue box she was talking about (since there wasn't one) she started getting a little frustrated. She dropped the price to almost what I saw online so I took it. At the end of the call she asked if I would like to be transferred for details on vacation information. I politely declined and was told "Fine" and then she hung up. I mean it is what it is but in my opinion customer service is kind of important with this line of business. The hotel was great. The lady at the desk was super friendly and helpful. Said there was a lot more than the 2 rooms available that I was told by the reservation department. She also moved me to an inner room away from the pool and bar so it would be more quiet. Crowne Plaza give her a Christmas ham she deserves it. The room was cozy but I did find wadded up paper bracelets from Itchetukney so it kind of makes me wonder if the linens were properly changed. I will still give it a 4 star because it was still one of the better stays I have had in years. Available bar and grill plus pool. Was a good stay. I would recommend it.

We stayed here for one night. I found the rooms to be very clean and comfortable. They could use some updating in style. The lobby area is immaculate with a nice little restaurant and bar. We did have a chance to try out the restaurant, and found it a bit lackluster. The service and drinks were wonderful. Their food needed some serious help in technique and preparation.

We stayed here for one night. Made reservations 2 hours before we arrived. We got a room that was new/renovated. Bradley and Hannah were at the front desk. We had a terrible day, however they greeted us with a great smile, funny interaction. Made us feel welcomed and made sure to give us all information. The room was clean. The room designed was new and upgraded, the glass tops, and blue color and motifs were modern, relaxing and welcoming.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED…… First time staying at Crowne Plaza Airport Jacksonville. The service there was amazing. Food was the best I’ve ever had. Our waitress Alyssa Wilson went above and beyond for my 2 children, she was amazing. My family will definitely be returning again to The Crowne Plaza Airport Jacksonville.

Remember to use when booking your stay. This web site will compare hundreds of hotel sites and typically will have rooms much cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This place is one of my favorites in this area. I've been staying here for a very long time. If you decide to stay here you definitely won't regret it. Lovely clean hotel with excellent staff. When we checked into our room, the smoke alarm was chirping and they immediately moved us to an upgraded room at no charge. Gabriel at the front desk was very helpful and Alyssa Wilson at the restaurant was wonderful! Would definitely stay here again!

This hotel is nice looking at it from the outside. The staff is friendly and the lobby is nice. When I checked into my room it looked clean and comfortable. After settling in I found there is no microwaves in the room. You have to walk to the marketplace in the lobby to use the microwave. I wanted to take a bath and soak and there was like dog hair in the tub so I had to clean it and decided to take a shower. When I pulled the spring up for the shower, the faucet almost came out of the wall. The shower head did not spray properly and water was splashing everywhere. The water at this hotel take a while to get hot for a nice shower but it does get hot eventually. The toilets are very low so for older people or someone with bad knees the will need assistance getting on and off the toilet. Overall for the price, I could have stayed at the days inn across the street to have the same experience I had here for cheaper.

The overall location and parking area grounds were better than adequate. I was short on time, so I did not experience all the amenities the hotel had to offer. The front desk staff member was professional, polite, accommodating, and insightful. I was placed in Tower 2, 6th floor (key access required), and it was a nice quiet retreat from any hustle & bustle.

My husband has been staying there long term for work, and I joined him for a night. The staff at the front desk (Alisa and Bradley) were friendly and helpful. He had let them know I was coming, and I quickly figured out they knew him by name, and got me a key. Carolyn at the bar also stood out, as she is extremely friendly and attentive. Our room has been recently redone, and we have no complaints. Our two-year-old has plenty of room to play in the room.

The rooms decor may be dated, but the staff is wonderful. The bar and grill specifically has kept us coming back over multiple work trips. Danny and Carolyn are absolute angels at the bar, I'd recommend seating yourself there for the best service. The front desk staff is also wonderful. There are no microwaves in the room and no laundry services, though, so be advised.

They DO NOT (as of 4-2-23) have a heated pool as the websites say, and they have not made an effort to correct that misinformation. The front desk person told my 6 year old daughter that she could "handle it". The water is about 70 degrees which is too cold for kids to enjoy for very long. There is damage on many walls all over the hotel, damage to light fixtures and floors around the hotel, and our room smells like mildew and smoke. Trust me, you deserve better than this hotel for the price. They DO NOT (as of 4-2-23) have a heated pool as the websites say, and they have not made an effort to correct that misinformation. We arrived to find our reservation was not in the Crowne Plaza records and our reservation for which we had already paid could not be honored. The assistant manager, Ms Phelps first assured us we would have a room a room at the same rate we paid, and proceeded to locate evidence of our reservation. She went over board and finally (an hour later) located evidence on my phone to confirm we had made the reservation. She and her staff were extremely committed to making us comfortable, including giving us refreshment and vouchers for breakfast the next day. They put us in an upgrade room which was wonderful and made our visit more than satisfactory. We have already recommended to others to select the Jacksonville Airport Crowne Plaza for any visit to Jacksonville.

Clean rooms, modern-industrial style lobby, and amenities. But our highlight on the stay was our breakfast on our way out. First time to Jacksonville for vacation, with unfortunate poor experience when it comes to food and service. But that changed when we were served by Ursula in the hotel restaurant for breakfast. Finally, good food and service to complement it. Honestly, it had me looking at membership details on the way out the door.

Kyah and Carolyn at the bar has been such a great experience. There wasn’t much to do outside of the hotel so I decided to go downstairs to the bar and they made my Jacksonville Florida experience Amazing!!!! they are so funny and hospitable. The food is delicious and their happy hour is very happy!!! ❤️ I’m very happy! Thank you ladies !

The hotel was decent, but honestly, the bar was amazing. Carolyn was awesome. Funny and entertaining, and super helpful. Kyah was super knowledgeable about the drinks and an all-around great server who will go far in her career. Danny was pretty great too, even though I only chatted with him a few times. Almost all of the food was amazing, although a little pricey depending on what you get.

Adequate airport hotel with bar/restaurant. One of the hotel towers has newly renovated rooms. My room was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was super personable. The hotel location has some sketchy surroundings...but what airport hotel does not? I recommend this hotel if you need to be close to JAX airport.

Huge hotel, takes a while to get to the room and back. Clean rooms but nothing in particular helped our journey more than a typical hotel. Bed was fine. Pillow was meh. Checkin and checkout were fine. Price was lower than I expected but a notch more than listed in the confirmation

After a long day of work and travel, I was not in the best mood. However, John Call was so kind and funny, that my attitude changed. He was very polite and respectful as he checked me in. John walked me halfway to my room to ensure I would find it. When I remarked about this to the day manager, she informed me John was still in training. Due to his kindness, care and humor I would definitely stay here again. The room was a standard hotel room- nothing special. But, to have staff who provide professional service even late at night- that makes a difference when I stay in Jacksonville again.

My husband and I were very pleased with our stay! Although we only stayed one night we had a great experience throughout the stay. Check in was easy, we enjoyed conversation with the front desk host named Althea, who told us all about the amenities! Our room was spacious and clean. We tried to enjoy the heated pool but it was just a tad too chilly for us. After all, it was February… The bar/restaurant area looked very nice. I was happy with Starbucks the next morning. We would definitely stay here again.

We travel quite often and I use various booking sites. I booked a stay with this hotel and paid extra for breakfast to be included. When we arrived, the front desk gave me 2 vouchers instead of 4 and when I asked why, they were very dismissive about it being their policy but neither they nor another male employ could find the evidence of that online. The man said it can be seen AFTER you book but I couldn't. Regardless, giving us 2 pancakes or a breakfast sandwich and a water would have gone a long way towards customer satisfaction and as it is now we will not be staying at this brand ever again. We have stayed at many hotels and there is 100 percent wiggle room to accommodate guests.

We were just passing through and decided to stay at this hotel. The rooms looked like they had recently been done over and looked nice. The lobby area was very new and sparkly. I think overall the whole hotel could use some upgrading especially on the outside. We were treated very nicely.

We rented the room for the weekend. Desk girls were friendly and amazing. However, when the family went to the pool, I let her know that there was a bunch of ants running around the pool area and that one of my boys had them on his feet. She radioed to maintenance and I could literally hear him tell her, "Oh well, can't do anything about it." The poor girl looked mortified, so I played it off like I didn't hear him. Other than that, the hospitality and cleanliness of it ensured we may visit again.

The property overall has some modern updates glazes over too some old bones. The overall layout of the hotel is closer to a mini resort with multiple towers. The customer service was excellent which made up for the horrible rooms. Although my experience was limited, the king bed room we got had a large yellow stain on the comforters, dirty linen, and smelled of mildew. In my experience if there’s one room like this there are many more especially in such a large resort with limited staff. Unfortunate that such a busy property suffers from poor housekeeping. The courtyard across the road was considerably cleaner with the same level of excellent customer service.

Was down there for a cruise and stayed one day before and one day after. The rooms are a bit dated but the service was great and they were very accommodating. When coming back from the cruise we showed up 3 hours before check in and they were able to get our room ready for us almost immediately. The restaurant was wonderful.

I travel a lot for work. My expectations of customer service and cleanliness has gone down a lot since covid. This hotel was honestly a breath of fresh air. Clean, great food (get the blackened salmon) and amazing customer service. My room key didn’t work a couple times in a row and the general manager Brian Brooks took the situation to heart and made me feel seen and important. To me that situation happens all the time but Brian and his staff went over the top to make it up to me. I will definitely be going back. Thank you to Brian and his team ❤️

We were a large group of family in town for a wedding when we were evacuated from Amelia Island due to a hurricane. About 40 of us including 10+ children arrived and were met with an extremely welcoming and accommodating staff. Special thanks to Jasmine, who calmly found adjoining rooms for our son and grandchildren, Hannah who managed our special requests and Brad who was always helping with a smile! Russ helped us with space to be together and everything went really well. Breakfast was unexpectedly good, and we had two great days there together. Would definitely stay again!

Hannah was awesome! Her friendly smile and service is 5 stars! She made us feel welcomed and at home as soon as we walked through the front door. Our room was exactly what you would expect staying at a Crowne Plaza. Clean, spacious and super comfortable. We didn't have a chance to eat at the restaurant inside but it looked great from what I could see as it has an open concept viewable from the reception area. I highly recommend staying here. Their shuttle leaves every 15 minutes to the JAX airport.

Our room was on the second tower( quiet). Laura at front desk was amazing. Very welcoming, helpful and informative. She made our checking a pleasant and easy experience. Gave US choices of room, beds, floor and even buildings. The open lobby is very nice with a cool bar and restaurant. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Very clean overall and up to date. Easy access.

This hotel sets an example of what customer service needs to be. Even though the rooms were a bit dated, my experience here was unmatched anywhere. The front desk, housekeeping, security, bar and grill, and breakfast staff were some of the most helpful, friendly people I have ever met in any professional setting. Bar staff were absolutely unbelievable. I would come back here just to eat and drink.

We have been coming here for quite a few years now while attending the Amelia Island Concourse. The front desk staff is so helpful and friendly. Melinda and Josh were working in the breakfast area; they are always very efficient and attentive to the guests. The rooms are great, spacious, and clean. The restaurant has tasty food. It is also located close to other main restaurants and the highway. We will continue to book our stays here when in this area. Thank you for everything.

I stayed here last night. I was treated with excellence from beginning to the end of the stay! I wish I could give much more than 5 stars review. Everyone was over the top friendly and the hotel was exceptionally nice and clean. I wish I could remember the two ladies who checked me in last night but I don’t, sorry. However the two breakfast ladies are Melinda and Robin and they were both a joy this morning. Oh yes my breakfast was outstanding. I will stay here again and again!!!!!! One more thing-my room was amazing. The bed was so comfy I didn’t want to get out of bed!

Stellar help from Gabriel and Stacy. Best hotel period. I recently stayed for 3 weeks (not continuous, but 3 separate weeks) and the hotel was the quietest, most restful hotel I have ever stayed in. I travel continuously, and have stayed in a different location weekly since last July, and that is a lot of hotels, but this one was better than any other. The first 2 weeks, Gabriel at the front desk was excellent in finding me a quiet room (I have to get up at 3:30AM for work) and was quick and efficient during my late check-in. The rooms were very clean and quiet, and smelled great, and everything worked properly. The third week, Stacy was stellar at checking me in and finding another quiet room. So courteous and cheerful! If I had my own hotel, there are two people I would try to steal from Crowne Plaza, because cheerful efficient service doesn't get any better than this. Stay here. You won't regret it.
