So I was sort of dreading this hotel since some of the reviews were so bad, but I got a great deal so I said hey I’m gonna give it a try…… The best thing about reviews preparing you to brace yourself is when you are very delightfully surprised to actually have an amazing experience. This is my 4th visit to jax and I’ve stayed in Wyndham garden, Hilton garden, sonesta, and so far this hotel is my favorite. 1. Super quiet inside room and super comfy bed even tho I was next to elevator I heard no noise 2. Tons of parking and tons of entrances 3. Soaps and shampoos it offers are great, lots of towels. 4. The manager was friendly to me. 5. Everything worked perfectly and no complaint at all. 6. Haven’t seen any bugs or roaches Sure there is some wear in the room and a stain here and there but it’s really nothing more than what I see in any hotel. Thanks! Will update this review if anything changes but I’m very happy !

Bathroom was in need of a make over. Bath hook falling out of the wall, tile in the shower had the spray over rebath covering and it was peeling off and dirty between the tiles. The side of tub had major paint clumps. Receptacles in the room wouldn't retain the plug (they were so worn out). The pool was covered and the area was just bad looking. There were 2 high points...the bed was great, and the TV was large and newer. Breakfast choices were slim, even for continental. I'd recommend another hotel, maybe we just got "the old room"?

I’ve stayed here on and off for years due to work and although it needs some renovations I can attest that I least get a piece of mind there. I travel extensively and have stayed at many hotels and CIS for the money isn’t bad. I’ve stayed at $200 a night hotels in San Diego and LA that had no microwave, had bugs, thin walls , and were noisy. I’ve stayed at hotels in this area that had no parking, roaches, trash in the corridors, and very poorly cleaned rooms. Any kind of breakfast or coffee was not available. Ok, I get it, it needs renovations and slowly but surely it’s happening , but people need to realize ALL hotels in any price range have some issues. Ever had a bunch of kids stomping over your head in a $350 a night corporate suite for a week and there was nothing staff could do about it? Ever had landscapers who came out daily and blowed dirt all over your Porsche everyday because they HAD to clean the parking lot? I get a good nights sleep, the manager and staff is great, nobody disturbs me or my vehicle , I pay a decent rate, and the highway is right there. I’m good and it always could be worse

So I have to be honest, this was not one of my best experiences in regards to a hotel stay. I will say that staff was friendly which was the positive. However, the cleanliness and the carpet needs to be addressed ASAP. We did not feel comfortable using the shower, there was a lot of dust from things not being cleaned prior. The refrigerator was unplugged and had a nasty smell when the door opened. The area has a lot of competition from other hotels so i would think they would need to adress some of these issues quickly.

We were having a quiet, relaxed time a with a very nice, helpful, professional staff till Tuesday 6am. I woke and went for a little breakfast for later when I wake up for the day. A loud woman approached with many questions, who am I there with, his name, my name, my room#, etc. She said she needed my ID on file. I told her again I would do that. Minutes later, she was at the door screaming at both of us, yelling she told me to bring ID and gave me an hour. We never imagined there was a time issued to deliver it nor did she specify a time frame. Again, this hotel had been pleasant, quiet, for days, a friendly, relaxed staff, we didn't dream this was suddenly an emergency situation we tried to explain. She yelled it's good we enjoyed it because we would never be allowed to stay at another country inn, she would make sure, she said she remembers us from other times there and we caused trouble every time. She refused to take my ID, demanded bring it down to the front desk and threatened if we did not immediately, she would call JSO to have us removed. We never stayed there before this stay. I tried to get a room there few weeks ago, she was extremely rude that day too, said pool don't work, gym don't work, there's no breakfast, I told her just needed a room, I was just tired, then she said oh well, we just got booked solid. (However, a few days later, she had charged me for a room anyway, $168 reporting me a no-show) ?? We áre still in shock that this woman mistreated us like this. And he is still in the hospital.

I visited Jacksonville for a 3-day trip. The stay at Country Inn was amazing. It was decorated for the New Year. The rooms were clean with good hot water! The breakfast was shockingly good. The staff was nice especially Charito. She was the sweetest person! I highly recommend staying here. It’s budget friendly as well.

I have actually delivered groceries here before! The owner reported them missing and has actually done this to other shoppers here as well. I think that maybe the corporate office should be made aware of this. It’s stealing and lying. I work in finance as well and just don’t feel comfortable even giving this establishment my credit card numbers. Like if they would lie about some milk to get it for free what would they do with credit card numbers with thousands of dollars on them.

Under renovation, sites didn't mention but staff was very upfront and honest right off. The rooms have a urine smell. They offered to refund but obviously a inconvenient for me at least minute late at night. So I just made due as my grandbaby was just born and I wasn't going to be there much. Bed was nice, fully furnished, bathroom could have been cleaned more. Would have loved a hot breakfast but again with them not being up to par with the work being done. Have faith it will be great once all work is done as long as the front staff stays.

We have always trusted in staying at a Country Inn and Suites hotel until this stay. As soon as we walked in we noticed the hotel smelled, it was dim and had no A/C. The elevator was creepy with no certifications. Our room smelled musty and was dirty. The desk chair had holes all over, the shower and refrigerator had mold and mildew. The shower was lukewarm at best. The pool and fitness center has been under construction for 4 months but nothing has been been done. On a positive note, the breakfast options were good and the morning staff were very nice.

Will not go back. Older place and it shows. Room was good and was clean. Floor was carpet that has seen better days. Bkfst. Was still like covid extreme yuck. Big sign in bkfst. area that food can only be in food room so my wife could not have food as I normally take to her. On TV was Housewives of New Jersey. Not exactly justified for a place of business. Most of guests seem to live in hotel and seemed to have govt. paying for their staying. Seemed like a neighborhood that we didn't belong. Although there were no totally uncomfortable moment's.

The first observation was a female that checked me in was on her personal phone, leaving it on speaker phone and I wasn't sure when she was talking to me or person on phone. Although, she was nice, I had to ask where everything was, and which way to go. The room was moldy and musty. The air conditioner was off, in Florida. New carpet is a must! Def was not my worst stay but no where near the best. With all the options in the area, next time I'll probably pass on this one.

Room was musty and smelly - hallway carpets were filthy and bleach stained - elevator was ragged, dirty and did not have mandatory permit hanging in it. I paid full price expecting a pool and was told under renovation day 1 - then day 2 was told it was due to covid - when i said there were no covid exceptions out anymore Joe got rude with me - department of health closure sign on pool - door to side entrance filthy - very saddened that this hotel carries the Radisson name. Asked for discount due to pool and was told NO - asked for mgr Jamie and Joe said he was manger and refused to tell me when Jamie would be in. Apparently I should have read these reviews prior to booking - I do not see how you can advertise a pool and fitness area and not have one (for atleast 12 months according to these reviews) and still charge a Radisson hotel price - do not stay here

I stayed when it was under renovation, so that accounts for the missing star, might be slightly higher without that being a factor. It is definitely time for renovations. Otherwise, the staff are friendly, and the bed was clean. One thing of note, though. The booking site I used sent me to the address of a different Country Inn & Suites, and the staff there told me it was a very common occurrence.

The general manager here is truly a great person with a great heart. If there was anything I needed she made sure I had it. I'm a traveler and haven't had the best time in jacksonville but her in particular, she was more than a staff member. She treated me like a human. The stay was as good as it gets. I recommend 10/10.

I was just yelled at by the woman working the front desk because she didn't hear me say good morning back to her! She treated me like a child! Then threatened to call the police and kick me out!! All because SHE DIDN'T HEAR ME SAY GOOD MORNING!!

I understood the hotel was under renovation and the room was very nice, but the hall carpet was unacceptable. That is the reason for my low rating.

Service was very friendly. The room was clean, but a bit outdated. However, they are doing renovations. It was a good place for an overnight stay on the way to our destination!

This hotel is in a great location and it has great customer service. It has recently gone through change in ownership and is gearing up. Yes there are some issues that need to be addressed immediately and they are aware of these. These things do take time and that should be understood by all.I would definitely stay there any time I was in Jacksonville!
