First room we were assigned reeked of smoke. Second room we were assigned seemed okay, definitely did not smell of smoke, and I had a decent night’s sleep. But in the morning, we saw a cockroach had been in our bed. And we tried to take a shower but the water immediately pooled in the tub. It just wouldn’t drain (and the drain was open!). When we told the front desk, they did not care, and told us to call the police if we wanted anything to be done.

Only choose this hotel if you are desperate and in need of accommodation for a few hours but this is not the place to be. There was a stain of blood on my cover sheet ? Idk if it's from previous tenant bedbugs stain. The hallway stank. The bed lamps were dirty. It is basically a motel. It's crazy how they charge more than a 100$ a night for this place. I guess it's because of the area where it's located but it shouldn't be that pricey... However, the young black lady at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful 😀

Checked in, room smelled like cigarettes. They moved us to a new room. Roaches in bed, shower had a lot of hair in it, lights didn't work, sink and shower didn't drain, fridge broken, stains on carpets in the room and stairwells, trash and food stuffed in air conditioner, wifi did not work. Refused to give a refund, said they could do $30 off, but when I looked at receipt there was no discount. They told me to call the police if I wanted to get my money back and that it was my fault because they already moved my room once. I was calm and polite, never raised my voice or used bad language.

Booked via Priceline and this was the hotel I was assigned. The location was OK, the check-in clerk was fine, but the room left something to be desired. It didn't appear well maintained as the shower enclosure was pulling away from the wall, the toilet was clogged, and the previous guests entire wardrobe was still in the closet.

After booking months in advance, the only room available had a broken AC unit (missing every control knob), the room had a flickering light, and multiple other guests were complaining that someone had been in their rooms while they were out. Would not recommend if you can afford even slightly more expensive options.

This location felt low class surprisingly. I thought based on a stay at another Sleep Inn loction that’s it would be of the same quality. Sadly not. We did not feel wholly safe pulling up to this hotel late at night. The first room we were assigned was down a hall that stunk. The room smelled funky, not fresh & clean. We were given another room. This room has scarred & chipped furniture, stained & bare spot carpet. On the plus side the room didn’t smell funky, still not fresh & clean, but not funky. The bed was very comfortable. The room & bathroom clean. For a one night stay on our way north it was adequate but we won’t be returning on our next trip. Best to find somewhere else.

To start the cleanliness and presentation of the hotel is sub par. Quiet unpleasant. The stained furniture, disgusting carpets, the bathroom, the tub that fills up after showering for 2 minutes and its passed your ankles, worn out beds that are sunken in as well as the odor is just unacceptable. Lets not forget the inconsiderate neighbors above and around you that the Front Office supposably went and monitored the area for noise and didn't hear or see anything. Buts its still continuously going on. Well see how the breakfast and morning is. As im still in my room writing this. What a great and amazing place to stay so far and i say that with the most sarcastic tone possible.

Could have been a bit cleaner. The building makes noise like its wood framed, you can hear everybody's footsteps. They have breakfast from 6-9am. Blueberry muffins were tasty 😋

I was booked a 3 day stay for the weekend by my company because my tractor is under repairs. Upon walking in the motel the front desk person Tee yelled at me to get out of the hotel because I had my service animal. She said “we’re highly allergic “ She then proceeded to call the police on me, told them I refused to leave all in front of other customers. I’ve never been so humiliated in my life. A simple Im sorry we don’t accept dogs would you mind stepping out?, would have sufficed. Rude and disgusting behavior from management.

The location is terrible, you don't want to go out after dark type terrible. Couple nice restaurants right down the road though. Front desk lady was great and super sweet. The rooms were dirty and smelled like smoke.

I was traveling with a disabled veteran , his Federal Service Dog and his caregiver ,helping them to get to their home in upstate NY. Feb 22,2023 at approx 11:30pm, this veteran was completely disrespected by the woman at the desk, Connie. She was rude after being questioned why his Federal Service dog was not allowed. The reason? her words "we don't accept Service dogs listed for 'emotional support.' What is his disability?" His caregiver showed her the document provided by the Veterans Administration and the clerk repeated that his service dog was not accepted because his disability did not qualify. Then she sarcastically said "you can even call the police, others who've had this problem have, and even the police tell them they can do this. This isn't about calling the police, this is about our veterans being disrespected and being made to feel humiliated as though what they had done serving our Country was for nothing. This veteran is a 100% Disabled Combat Veteran. Basically what Sleep Inns 'policy' is saying is that emotional support service animals really isn't a disability. Categorizing a disability. I'd say thats a serious form of discrimination. How dare you Sleep Inn! His caregiver took the next hour and a half helping him through this humiliation only to drive another hour to find another Sleep Inn (having called said Sleep Inn prior to arriving (in Georgia) to verify that his Service dog will be allowed in which his caregiver was told it was horrible as to what Jacksonville Sleep Inn had done to this veteran and telling his caregiver that that hotel needs to be reported according to Sleep Inn management. So we arrive at the Brunswick Sleep Inn in Georgia , it began with a hassle with the reservation and then to be told by THAT hotel clerk " well, I hate to tell you but we are the same way. So you cant stay here ." On top of this, his credit card was charged for the two rooms that had been reserved!!! His caregiver was assured they wouldn't be charged and she would receive a confirmation email. Both are lies. The bank account was charged and as of right now, she has no email! I would not recommend this Sleep Inn or ANY Sleep Inn for that matter to anyone . its clear they are a Veteran Hating Corporation!

Worst experience in my life by far!! My husband and I went there to celebrate our 15 year anniversary. Thought it would be nice to have one of their jacuzzi rooms to have a nice relaxing evening without the kids. When we checked in the person at the front desk was very kind & and helpful. We were told we had to pay a deposit of $150 because we are locals that live in Jacksonville (btw: I thought was a bit unfair) So we were hesitant of course because that is a lot of money but it was our anniversary and we really needed to get away for a night so we paid it in cash & was told that as long as there was no damage to the room then we would get our deposit back in cash just as we paid it when we check out the following day. My husband & I are smokers so all throughout the evening and the following morning we had gone outside for a smoke we weren't dumb enough to risk losing our cash deposit just to smoke inside the room it's not worth it because that's a lot of money we work very hard for our money and wouldn't risk it just to smoke in the room! So the next morning it's time to check out and this very rude woman at the front desk tells us that she will NOT be giving us our deposit back because she smells smoke & supposedly found some ashes on the floor in the room but couldn't provide any evidence of that and so of course now we are getting quite upset because we were really counting on getting our money back to buy groceries for the week and we know we did not smoke in the room at all! So now this woman is refusing to tell us any other info on who management is or anything at all and totally ignores us refusing to Answer any of our questions & she then tells us we need to leave our she will call the cops I said no I'm not leaving until I get my money back & I would like to tell the cops how you are basically stealing my money. So we waited over an hour the cops never show up and at this point I realized that we are not getting anywhere with this very rude woman who also said "F*** You* to me! I never in my life have ever been treated so badly at an establishment! Not only did this ruin my what was supposed to be a very special occasion to celebrate 15 years of marriage but it also was taking food of my table to feed my children! So I called Choice Hotels & spoke with a very nice girl on the phone who was trying to resolve the issue for us. She tried to contact the hotel directly to discuss the matter and was hung up on not once not twice but 3 times they hung up her! The nice lady on the phone also tells me that when she looked in the computer system that it shows that they refunded us our deposit!! Which NEVER did happen! So I truly believe that this woman pocketed my $150 cash deposit because we still haven't received it!!

The only positive I have to say was that the staff was polite. Check in and check out were a pretty smooth processAlso they had goo hot water and free Wi-Fi..During my stay which was a week ago, when I entered my room there was a dirty rag on the side table, there were two pillows on the bed with their cases laying next to them as if the person who was cleaning the room was interrupted in the middle of it. As previously stated they do not really serve breakfast. They have the choice between a jimmy dean’s breakfast sandwich or burrito and a prepackaged Danish or muffin. In my room the refrigerator had some white substance on the side of it as if someone spilled milk on it and it was not cleaned, and I also found two of the Jimmy dean’s breakfast sandwiches inside the microwave from a previous stay I’m guessing. There was a beer can in the stairwell that leads down to the pool. The carpets were very dingy and dirty like they could use a deep clean. And to top it all off the pool was closed due to maintenance so we couldn’t even enjoy a swim in the pool for which we actually planned to do that weekend. I didn’t mention this to staff as they said they were short staffed and actively seeking help. I still left a tip for the cleaning personnel as they still have a job to do. I just think people really should plan on lowering their expectations for what you may think you are getting coming here. Needless to say I will not be staying there for the foreseeable future.

The room was nice and clean. The bed very comfortable. The bathroom is very clean too. The atmosphere is great and peaceful. I love going there. Well not anymore, went there ask if the pool is open coming to find out in the morning that it had a sign , under maintenance, was going to stay two days, cut it short a day lost my 10% discount. When I complaint about a pool, receptionist yelled at me saying if I want a pool that there are public pools and or the beach which is not far. The bathtub was dirty too. Have to find another favorite hotel.

Room was tidy, bed was super comfortable and Miss Tee at the front desk was incredibly helpful and courteous during my stay. Hotel staff were very kind and helpful in general.

Very bad area. Dead ants on bathroom floor. Soap scum all over tub and walls in bathroom. Stains all over carpet. Smelled bad. Green pool. Linens were used and not cleaned. Transients hanging all around property. Stayed for 7 hours and woke up as early as possible to leave this place. Ughhh!

The room smells terrible like old and cleaner trying to cover up the smell. There is mold and mildew in every corner of the bathroom and the windows aren’t cleaned at all. The room has roaches. The first desk is extremely slow with their service and needs to know the names of every single guest including children. Terrible experience for a $200/night room.

Sam at the front desk was AMAZING! she made me and my 2 sisters feel so welcomed and comfortable as soon as we walked through the doors. The beds were comfortable! However, there were a few stains on the top sheet but we didn’t want to make a big fuss. The only downside to our trip was the breakfast. There weren’t many options :( besides that it was great! Thanks again Sam:)

Decent for last min. If maintenance can unclog the sinks and shower drains from nasty particles and hair the ratings could have went up. That's unsanitary and disgusting! Room also smelled Horrible!! Like feet! 🤮. Glad it was a stay for a few hours.

I do not recommend staying here unless you have no other choice. I’m a platinum memeber and stayed here bc it’s part of the choice hotel reward program. I booked my reservation on the app as usual. Upon arrival they told me if I didn’t give them 150$ deposit they would have to cancel my reservation (which was non refundable on the application). After I had to find an ATM to get cash out ( very inconvenient) I came back to check in because I didn’t have time to rebook a new hotel and cancel the current one, as I was tired from getting back from New York this same day on business. I checked in and received my room key only to find out the AC barely worked, bathroom light in the shower was automatic so only came on sometimes . Had to shower in the dark. I ordered a pizza from a local pizza place only for them to call and say they don’t deliver to this area after sunset (because crime is so bad). Don’t stay here

connie at the front desk is an angel. my boyfriend and i blew a tire and we desperately needed a place to stay (2hrs away from home) and she helped us out. the room didn’t smell bad and it was actually quite nice. bed was comfortable, great bath/shower, nice tv, great fridge, and super cold AC. free coffee in the morning was nice and we enjoyed our stay for the night. this is a good and affordable place. was also nice and quiet

Very clean. The staff is friendly, helpful and careful with your information. We enjoyed our stay. The only sadness was it's not a full breakfast. Its frozen burritos or biscuits.

Our room was very clean and the hotel staff was very friendly. Enjoyed talking to Brandy at the front desk ! A lot of restaurants nearby. I would recommend this hotel if you are in the area and need a room. To all the staff , have a great day and weekend ! This is me (in the middle), Brandy , and this nice man (never got his name)that works at the hotel.

Upon entering the room, I was shocked that the room was filthy. Even though I did hear great reviews about this hotel, I did not expect to come to a nasty domicile. Afterwards, the bed did not have the top sheet.Lastly, it would be well appreciated that toothpaste be provided in the bathroom.

A low quality dump in a sketchy area! Front desk clerk has a nasty attitude with zero customer service skills. It takes what seems like forever to get checked in only to regret booking. The free breakfast is a joke. I didn’t get to sleep at The Sleep Inn because of all the noise. There are way better quality hotels at cheaper rates in Jax so don’t bother with this place!
