I stayed here for a week. Love the location and customer service was good but house keeping did show anything. I stayed more then 4 days and didn’t even get my room clean once. I took out my own trash and got my own set of new towels. They had a sign at the check in desk stating if staying more then 4 nights the room would be clean that was a lie. I complain twice to the front desk I didn’t get nothing in return. If you stay here make sure they get house keeping to clean your room and give you fresh towels. Other then that I love my stay.

Stayed here overnight, it is a great location, close to restaurants and mall. Front staff were quick with check in and out. Room was clean, and most of all had a fridge and microwave. Some hotels in area no longer have them in the rooms so this was another reason I chose this hotel. Reasonably priced as well. Thanks for a great night.

For everyone posting about cleanliness - they could not be more right! I'm rating this a 5/5 for the following reasons: 1) Is this a brand new facility: no, but it's priced accordingly, and the staff are super friendly, very attentive to cleanliness, and the stay is worth every penny. 2) There are a lot of hotels that do not care about their customers or how clean their facilities are, and they charge easily double what I paid for here at Comfort Suites! 3) In many places you "get what you pay for" as in: low rates equals bad service. This was not that. The rooms were fairly priced and the service, the attention to cleanliness, and the size of the rooms exceeded every expectation! Thank you CS Baymeadows - we will definitely be back! For future travelers reading this: we had a great experience and would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful 4-day stay at Comfort Suites. We were pleasantly surprised at the size of the room! Our room had two queen size beds and a large sitting area with a comfortable sofa. I do have one recommendation: towel racks in the bathroom. Aside from a hook on the back door- there was no place to hang towels except over the shower curtain rod. The lobby area was nothing fancy- but it was very comfortable and accommodating for our large group. They provided a sufficient complimentary breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful.

NOT RECOMMENDED. We did check inn and when we got to the room it stank of humidity. We asked to change to another room. It had the smell but it was less. Carpet was dirty. Door locks and gosnes were loose. We went and bought an odor neutralizer and disinfectant wipes. In a week there was only one cleaning visit and because we asked for it since the bedding when we arrived had little animals that itched. There were cockroaches. We covered the sofa bed with sheets because it was dirty. When we asked for towels and other items at the reception they did not attend us well. Our room was next to the washing machines but using them was a pain. The hotel has two washers and two dryers for everyone. The reception did not have to change coins. There was no window detergent although there was a machine. When we called the reception they told us to go to another place to wash which was five minutes away by car. At the end of the stay, the housekeeping told us that a snack vending machine had change for quarter. Breakfast for a week was the same. In the part near the pool there were people smoking and with a dubious reputation. The maintenance of the pool and surroundings was almost none. Five years ago we stayed at this Hotel and we stayed again thinking that it was the same or better but WE WILL NOT GO BACK

Newly renovated? Stayed on 3rd floor in a suite with King-size bed. The bathroom was very small, too small for a room that size. The aroma of Marijuana was quite loud on that floor and they're all non-smoking area! I reported the smell and they put a fan in the hallway. I will not pay premium rates with poorly designed rooms. Service was outstanding

The employees who work here are very friendly and helpful. You can tell that cleanliness is a priority here. The rate was extremely reasonable at $93 a night. The hotel has been recently renovated, the rooms and amenities are nice. Outdoor pool has been redone as of October 2022. Location is right off of I-95, with many food options and convenience stores open 24 hours are within walking distance. The area seems safe, although there was some pan-handling going on on the interstate exit of the interstate but they are kept off the hotel property.

Pros - -We stayed here for 3 nights and the service was amazing. -Close to Amelia island, only 20 min drive and not far from restaurants and coffee shops -The complimentary breakfast was pretty good, with food such as oatmeal, cereal, eggs , waffles, sausage, yogurt and coffee and fruit juice. The area was clean -Room was very clean and had fresh sheets. The bedding was clean too and mattress comfortable Cons- -Our room had a very nasty stale smell. -Also, there was no housekeeping, unless you stayed over 4 nights, which doesn’t make sense. What are we paying money for then ? And what are the housekeepers getting paid to do?We had to go to the lobby to ask for more towels and leave the dirty ones by the door in the morning so they can be picked up. And same for the trash -Tables in eating area very wobbly

We had a double bed room on the second floor right near the elevator so didn't have to walk real far. Beds were comfy, had plenty of towels and such. Shower was good too. Every one was gracious and kind and helpful.

I booked a “Corner King Suite” and while it looks like it does online, looks can be tricky in the southeast. The lobby was fine, the staff were friendly at check in and the snacks were affordable at the desk. The elevator has a really nice mural inside. The pool was open but we didn’t use it. It seemed ok. But this hotel has a big problem that I know from experience likely will not get better. It’s going to get worse. The hallway on the 3rd floor tells the whole story. Moldy. The AC in the room was kicked on super cold and when I got close to it I could smell mold. There was mold, dirt, or something on the handle of the drawer and there was condensation in the clock. The hotel is moist…and that generally means a plumbing problem. When I was washing my face the sink drained really slowly also. The breakfast was a normal comfort inn breakfast but it was just very unappetizing. Choice Hotels should really make some strides to change this. This is 100% fixable. I hope the owner of this property doesn’t take these things out on the staff. The owner has the ability to order higher quality breakfast items, provide some budget for upgrades, and bro you need some serious work done behind the walls. It’s not the housekeeping or the maintenance. You got leaks and clogs in the walls. That’s what causes that smell, and for over 100 bucks a night I didn’t expect to have to buy Benedryl to make it through the night.

We went down for the gator bowl And then we also stayed and watched the jacksonville jaguars. We stayed for 4 nights, the location is great Right off of interstate 95 and only 7 minutes or so from downtown.. There are multiple restaurants in the area from seafood to asian to chinese to fast food whatever you want. The only problem was the breakfast. I read the reviews before I stayed there and multiple people have said the same thing and I'm going to say it again Because the management has not fixed the issue. It is the same breakfast every morning, sausage patties and pre-made eggs. There were no bagels, the only thing they had was toast and muffins Along with waffles. I'm a choice member and have stayed all over the place and the breakfast usually At least changes from sausage patties to sausage links. Or they will have scrambled eggs one-day. They will have biscuits and gravy oneday. Not here, it was the same thing every morning. Sausage patties and pre-made eggs. If you could deal with eating the same breakfast, then you would love to stay here. Or you can go out and buy your own breakfast if you want to spend the money. the management really needs to address this issue. Other than that no complaints.

Ok, so we travel from Alabama to Jacksonville a lot. My wife has cancer so we go to Mayo Hospital at least every 3 months, sometime more. We always stay here at the Comfort Inn because it's clean, nearby the hospital and they have a Mayo discount. It's not a diamond rated hotel but it is nice and clean and modern. The staff all know us and treat us like family here and that means a lot to us!

Super easy to get to! Right off of I-95 and close to many food options. We were able to have pizza delivered to the hotel room. The front desk concierge was incredibly kind when we checked in and was focused on making sure everything was going well and up to customer expectations. This is a great spot for travelers. Rooms could use some updates but overall a great value for your money! Continental breakfast was offered as well!

Beautiful upgraded hotel with a wide variety of breakfast items. Staff was very courteous. Only thing was the doors have an opening at bottom and door slams keep you up every few hours.

Pros- AC worked great, half the staff I dealt with were nice, the pool was clean, breakfast area was clean and well stocked. Cons- Hallway and room had a weird smell, pool area was smaller, not enough seats and the gate was broken, half the staff I dealt with were not very friendly, it was really noisy, didn't get much sleep, towels had a stinky smell to them, beds were not comfortable, and rooms needed to be updated, breakfast food did not taste great and was barely room temperature. I've stayed at other choice hotels and not been disappointed, this was my first time at a Comfort Suites and from this experience I would not recommend.

Arrived on a Friday and checked out on Sunday, the staff and management were extremely accommodating and friendly throughout the entire stay! The hotel was conveniently located off of I-95 and was clean, safe, and comfortable. Located close by, I was able to enjoy Jacksonville Beaches, the nightlife, and an NFL game. Definitely will be back soon! Special thanks to Jitan as well as the housekeeping staff for ensuring a great experience!

I honestly had to use the restroom! The lobby is nicely decorated! I asked to use the restroom, the clerk was sweet and gave good directions on how to get there. The bathroom smelled fresh and was clean. I'd stop for a room one day if in the area 😊

We enjoyed our stay. This was a great deal, considering the price. The hotel had everything we needed because of the kitchenette and it was nice having the wall separating us from our teenager. The complimentary breakfast was great, also. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice, ok location. The shower however stinks with low pressure for the price you pay for places like this! Toilet is very close to the bathroom door, beds soft, pillows good. Breakfast is 10% ok! For comfort inn places, expect more for our money! We'll choose someplace else next time!

Last minute trip from Tampa and they were more than accomodating for my family of four. Great service...clean room. We enjoyed the breakfast. Would definitely stay there again. Very personable.

Pros: great, convenient location. Good service. Easy to get what you need. Good breakfast. King bed was soooo comfortable and everything was very clean in the room. Cons: the hallways on floor 5 smelled like nail polish remover. Really weird. The room had a damp, mild mildew smell upon entry but it kind of faded after the first day. Bathroom is really small but clean and the shower was clean. The floors in the room left my feet black.

One of the worst places I've been. The outside is so nice. At booking I asked for hot breakfast, gym and 24 hour pool. Well none of this was available. The hotel had a odor and the room was depressing. Me and my family had to search for another hotel at the last minute. I would definitely not recommend this hotel.

I spend close to $10k/year traveling for work and a majority of that time and money was spent with Comfort Inn Suites at Baymeadows. This hotels night staff have caused me to not come back ever again because my moneys not good enough. Apparently Jay K believes it’s best to not do business with residents of Jacksonville but to be perfectly fine doing business in Jacksonville. Hey Jay, If you don’t like the people of Jacksonville so much, why don’t you just leave town and do business elsewhere?

We have a beautiful room and it's very clean. Would definitely come back here for another stay. Nice large king bed that's very comfy, big flat screen tv, desk, couch, big full length mirror, complimentary breakfast, coffee in the room, nice clean bathroom. I highly recommend this place

My primary complaint about this hotel was the shower. We stayed in the newer/bigger room, which was one that had upgrades-remodel to a few areas of the room & bathroom. The bathroom literally had NOT ONE towel rack OR hook on the door to hang towels or washcloths. The worst part was the shower did not have one single shelf or soap dish ...nothing to put a bar of soap or shampoo bottle, razor. Nothing! Not even a hangover on the shower base to set any hygiene items. So, we had to basically put our bar of soap and shampoo and razor ON THE FLOOR OF THE SHOWER. Additionally, there was EXTREMELY LOW water pressure for the shower. There were only 2 towels and the box of facial tissue had run out, so we had to get another box and more towels at the front desk. Additionally, there was NO coffee maker in the room when we arrived. We stopped at the front desk on our way out for the evening to tell them, and they did notify housekeeping. When we returned, they did put one in our room. The mini fridge was not very cold and had no temperature adjustment dial to turn it up. For the HIGH rate we paid for a Sunday night of $207, this hotel failed to meet our basic necessity needs & expectations. We are Choice Hotel Diamond level members, and it is rare that we have an unpleasant experience or a need to leave a bad review. While this wasn't the worst, for the reasons in this review, it was unacceptable.

When we got here to check in the parking lot was blocked off. We went to use our microwave and it kept blowing the fuse and all the front desk had to say was I'm sorry. I spend good money staying with choice hotels and this one is very disappointing. We were trying to relax before my husband had cancer surgery the next day and it was pretty stressful. The hot water that runs into the Jacuzzi is a trickle of water and then it kept draining without the drain being open makes me wonder where the water went.

The person at the front desk was great. The room was huge with high ceilings. The beds were more comfortable than most hotels, and it was maintained pretty well. We would stay here again.

Didn’t get to stay- due to an expected illness of a family member and had to cancel last minute. However, the gm of this facility was kind enough to waive any penalty for late cancellation. We really appreciate it, and will stay there next time we’re in Jacksonville. Great customer service!

Me and my family have been staying here for a couple weeks now and it’s been a great experience all around ! The hotel is always clean or being cleaned through out the day. The staff is professional, friendly and willing to help right away. This hotel truly has a passion for what they do. Rooms are big and spacious , housekeepers come daily to make sure you need anything. The breakfast available in the morning is great also. Great hotel and great location ! THE BEST COMFORT SUITES EVER !

Everything was really clean, the customer service was great, breakfast was consistently good, warm and fresh. The only improvement would have been better lighting in the room and either a dresser and extra chair. We had a couch, coffee table, desk, microwave, fridge and alarm clock. Very friendly and helpful staff. Even with the parking lot being redone, still a good experience and great location for getting out and seeing all of Jacksonville.

The front desk clerk was great, not super enthusiastic but very informative and to the point, I liked it. The room was okay. We had two double beds and when my sister pulled the bedding back on her bed there was a long hair in the sheets. The lighting in the room was extremely poor and the bathroom was teeny tiny. We were there for a concert so it was difficult to get ready since we both couldn’t be in the bathroom due to the size and couldn’t do anything outside the bathroom because the lighting was so poor. All that being said, we never felt unsafe which is a plus.

We spent 1 night here on our way to Cocoa Beach so we could visit our grandchildren who live in Jacksonville. It was very clean and quiet. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay to the point that upon our trip back home we booked again, this time checking in early, so I was able to pick up the kids again and take them swimming, we had a great time. I do believe we have found our home away from home when in the area. Thank you. CSB for going the step above to accommodate us spending some extra time with our grands.

I have stayed here 4 times and the rooms are comfortable, clean, updated and affordable. This is an excellent property and they have great staff. You will often find the owner walking the property working his investment. This hotel is so well done on so many levels.

The hotel is having some renovations done, but don't let that stop you. She is rough, but very clean. Hallways clean. Elevators clean. Night Manager super frendly!!!!
