Updated review: Whenever we travel with my 3 year old, we have always used an extra comforter for either edging to keep him from falling off his bed or to make a bed on the floor if he can't sleep on a bed. We are exclusive holiday inn express customers and have always been given an extra comforter upon request. We had an unfortunate situation this time where we were denied a comforter, not because they were unavailable, but simply because "we don't hand out comforters". But since our stay, which otherwise was quite pleasant, I received a call from the general manager and was shockingly pleased to hear from him. I really appreciate his call as he explained that this never should've happened and that it is not their policy to deny customers a comforter. Not only did he call to apologize but made several guestures to make it right. This was very impressive and I am much more inclined to stay at a place that is managed by someone so kind and caring.

This was a very pleasant experience. The Christmas tree was up, and the decorations were out making it very festive. I looked under the tree for a presewith my name on it, didn't see one, but realized it is too early. 🙂 Very nice employees doing a wonderful job. Thank you.

Sits back off the road and is fairly quiet. The room was nicely appointed but needed attention to a few things. The coffee maker in-room was broken and the toilet tank leaked making it run a lot. There's a Burger King across the street in case one wants a quick meal.

Pleasantly surprised for a Holiday Inn! Check in was fast and efficient. We were offered a water or beer upon check in. Room was clean all around. Bed was good but probably needs a flip around or new mattress. Seemed to be sunken in the middle. Felt like I had an uphill fight to get to the edge of the bed. Shower had a great flow of water! Little hiccup with the toiletries. Barely had body wash left in the shower. Conditioner was shampoo. Doesn’t warrant a negative review but definitely a mention so it can be straightened out for future guests. There was alway someone in the lobby cleaning. The breakfast was decent for a Holiday Inn. They offered a hot bar and also had gluten free or vegan items upon request (big plus). Was a pleasant stay and I definitely stay again when I’m on this side of Jacksonville.

Top Notch. Just as I would expect from a Holiday Inn Express & Suites property. Easy and quick check-in. The front desk associate, Angel was very welcoming. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Hot shower. Easy accessible internet. Quiet AC/Heater Unit. Nice, well presented hot breakfast...Bacon, eggs, sausage, Canadian bacon sandwiches, along with cinnamon buns and other typical cold breakfast fare.

This used to be my go to spot. It is clean & comfortable. I even had a fantastic breakfast. Lately, their prices have exploded & it's losing the value associated with the brand. They finished building the semi-truck dealership next door. I would hate to combine a repair bill with an extended stay here. I love staying at this hotel when someone else is paying for it.

Great place, newer hotel! Big breakfast the night we stayed there. Security is there , probably a troubled area. Easy access to the interstate, across the street is a Kenworth dealership. If you need semi truck parking, there is a small gas station in walking distance. Room for about 20 trucks, good luck grabbing a spot. Will definitely stay here again when we are in the area!

Amazing stay!!! We left a horrible rat hole of a motel called The Stayable Suites (and that’s what it was….barely stayable) literally 2 buildings down and came here for refuge and a room that didn’t make you feel like you were waiting to pay someone by the hour lol. We were greeted by the absolute friendliest staff who were welcoming, accommodating, gave us free chilled bottles of water, and recommendations for local food (shoutout to the young red headed gal - she checked in with us the next morning to make sure we enjoyed our first night and that it was better than The Stayable haha!) Their staff was so incredibly accommodating — we had a big race the next morning and were going to be leaving 45 minutes before their breakfast opened up, and they said no problem; just knock on the pantry door when you’re down there and we’ll open up so you can grab something. The woman who manages the pantry was incredibly sweet and when we told her we were racing the next morning she enthusiastically invited us down to grab breakfast early again and said she’d open at 6 instead of 7 am. The breakfast was the BEST free continental breakfast I’ve ever had in a hotel! They had everything from hot empanadas, egg and sausage breakfast sandwiches, warm cinnamon rolls, muffins, bagels, cereal, yogurt, fruit — we were blown away by how much they provided their guests. It truly was a wonderful experience staying at this Holiday Inn and if we are ever back in the area, we will definitely stay there again.

Excellent place to stay. Free beer on arrival, breakfast is on point. Rooms clean, no funny smelling hall ways.

Exceptional experience! Greeted with a smile by the kindest employee, Anne, who went above and beyond to make sure that we were all taken care upon check-in. The room is very spacious, incredibly clean and comfortable. The shower was my favorite feature. Extremely nice room and facility. The complimentary breakfast was amazing!

Clean, comfortable, spacious room. The location of this hotel was safe and secure. Staff was super friendly they even offered a beverage at check in. Breakfast was good.

I absolutely love love love this place!!! 1-The staff has gone out of their way to help me many times. 2- Everything is so clean. In this industry it can be hard 3- it's close to downtown, but also has a mall 10min away 4- Parking is never a problem! 5. They have an incredible pool, and a barbecue area. 6- Security at night time made me feel safe. Overall this place is fantastic! The rooms are quiet, cozy and clean. I've stayed multiple times, and I will definitely be going back! Steve Balsamo

Probably one of the nicer hotels I’ve stayed at. A top contender if i have to return back for work stays. The room felt brand new with modern amenities i don’t usually see at hotels. The breakfast downstairs had something to offer for everyone and each staff member i encountered was extremely pleasant. The pricing seemed high for a holiday inn at this location.

Very nice rooms, the bathroom was great with a walk-in shower, everything was clean and well stocked. I would suggest this place for anyone young or old.

One of the cleanest smelling hotels out of the chain that I have been to lately. Staff at the front desk are friendly and greet you coming and going. It doesn't appear that they have any social anxiety issues as you'll find elsewhere!

Great everything! Front Desk saved me with a reservation problem. Breakfast was awesome with personal touches not normal for HIX - weekend lady "C" was incredible and very helpful! I wish I got her name! Thanks for the beer too!
