Definitely will become my Number One go-to hotel when I am in the area. Lucinda, the front desk associate, was very helpful, kind and patient from the initial booking interaction. Over the phone, I knew I’d selected the perfect ‘get away’ stay, because of her promptness and welcoming personality. She even assured me that she’d be here upon arrival on check in date which made me feel even more comfortable. In fact, when I arrived, she instantly remembered my voice and greeted me by name. Reggie, the Manager on duty, was also very personable, and took the initiative to stand and greet me formally. The room seemed to be clean as I completed a walk through inspection! Customer Service is ALWAYS a winner for me!!

Well located to the airport if you have a flight around 07:00 am or later. The shuttle doesn't start until 05:00 am. So for the 05:00 and 06:00 you will need a car. Staff did not communicate this very well. Luckily the desk did correct this when apon arrival. Aside from a couple of corporate restaurants across the street the bulk are at least a mile away. The gas stations are close by and easily accessible but let the buyer beware. There were gas prices that were thirty to forty cent cheaper several miles from the hotel. If you need clothes there are several stores within a mile where most of the restaurants are located.

The staff was nice( upon checking in the lady held a nice short conversation to welcome us and upon checking out we were thanked for coming and wished safe travels back home😊), breakfast was good( even though I wish they had offered turkey meat because we don't eat pork), the only issue we had was with our room. We found some hair on one of the beds and in the bathroom sink, and a blood like stain on the mattress when we took the covers off before we left

Enjoyed my stay at Hampton Inn. I was pleased that it lived up to prior comments that I had read in their reviews. My room was nice and clean. The bathroom was very clean and accommodating. Even the grout and caulk work were pristinely clean. I also liked how I could pick the floor and room that I wanted to stay in. It was very close to the airport which made it nice on my wallet. I'd stay here again if I visited Jacksonville again.

Lucinda at the front desk is by far and away the most valuable asset Hampton Inn, and the company that owns the chain, has. She goes above and beyond the call of duty to ensure the most excellent stay for guests and providing directions for non-guests alike. I cannot stress enough that whatever Lucinda is being paid is not nearly enough for what she does to show the most professional and amazing care for anyone who sets foot on this property. She is extremely courteous and informative and knows her job through and through. Kudos to the individual who brought her on board. You did this company a great service upon hiring her.

Rooms were extremely average but reasonably clean. Bed needs replacement. Reception was ok. A little more personality wouldn't hurt. Overpriced for the quality but location was perfect. Slightly disappointing from a Hilton Honors diamond member standpoint.

Rooms were clean, staff were very helpful and friendly, and they arranged for a free shuttle to the airport which was very convenient and only 3 minutes from the hotel. A few restaurants are within walking distance. Free continental breakfast and coffee 24/7. Would definitely recommend!

My bestfriend was getting married in Folkston, Georgia. We decided to stay here because it was very close to the Jacksonville Airport, which is where we were flying out of the next day. They allowed us to check in early so my boyfriend could get ready for the wedding while I was already at the venue because I was a bridesmaid. It was great to come back to the hotel room after the wedding and just relax. I don't remember her name, but she was a lady with dark brown/black colored hair and she worked the late shift into the early morning. She was very helpful and kind. She put our names on the list for the free shuttle to the airport. It came right on time with no issues. Beds were also very comfy, would definitely stay here again if we were in the area. Highly recommend this hotel!

The only reason I’m giving this a 2/5 is because the breakfast was really good and plentiful for our large family. If it weren’t for that, the rating would’ve been a 1/5 as there were dead ants in the refrigerator, ants crawling outside of the fridge and bathroom, and the cleanliness of the room was poor. Thankfully we only had to stay one night for an over night pit stop. The hotel must be infested with ants, because we stayed on the fifth floor.

Stayed here for about a week for work. The room layout is bizarre with the desk right in the middle of the room, so you have to turn the tv to see it from the bed. The breakfast was pretty good as well. The older lady running it the breakfast during the weekend kept yelling at people trying to serve their own food and it was a bit much. Overall, a decent stay and a convenient location for getting around.

I was recognized as a “Diamond Member” when I walked in and gave the, very nice, lady my ID & was offered items. This doesn’t seem like much but a lot of the hotels fail to do this, and given my reason for travel- my dads in hospice- it was nice. I was given restaurant recommendations and told that most car rental companies charge for such an early am drop off, so that made up my mind to drop off luggage & then car and take a Lyft back to hotel and to airport at 3am. Room was clean and fresh smelling. Pool looked great but I was too exhausted to partake. And I left too early for the breakfast… Highly recommend this hotel Due to room, staff and restaurant choice as well as location to airport.

My daughter and I were traveling to Clermont, FL when I began to feel ill in Jacksonville. We had to get a hotel and thankfully, we chose this Hampton Inn. The young lady behind the desk immediately ran over to assist my daughter with me, upon seeing that I was sick. I was very weak, shaking, stuttering and in a somewhat confused state. She was ready to call 911 until my daughter told her that I normally don't stay that way for too long. Well, she wasted no time in getting us checked in and then she proceeded to help my daughter and another guest who stepped in to assist, in getting me to our room. She insisted that my daughter let her know if I needed anything at all or if she needed help with me, before she left us. Even in the midst of that hypoglycemic episode, I saw and felt how genuine this wonderful young woman was. I regret that we forgot to get her name. She is proof that excellent customer / guest service does still exist! Because of her, I will choose this hotel if ever I'm in the Jacksonville area again.

My recent stay at Hampton Inn & Suites by the Airport was a delightful experience that left me with fond memories of their remarkable hospitality. From the moment we stepped foot into the hotel to the day of departure, we were warmly welcomed and treated like family. Though the room might have been slightly outdated, the exceptional service and amenities made up for it in every way. Especially, the shower at the hotel quickly heated up and provided excellent water pressure, which was a welcome relief after many hours of driving! Also, *Pet-friendly:)*

We requested a 4:00 check in but our room was not ready until almost 6:30 pm. The room was clean except the shower curtain and the toilet handle had to be held for several seconds before it would flush. The ac worked wonderfully. The beds were super hard and we woke up in so much pain. The next morning we went down for breakfast about 8:30 am and they were out of everything. The attendant (I think her name was Ms. Pearl) was so grumpy and rude. We ended up leaving and going to get breakfast elsewhere. I would have spoken to the front desk about it but she seemed unapproachable so I decided to wait until I got home to call back and speak with the manager. I have called twice and left messages with Angeline because the manager was always in a meeting. The manager has still not called me back.

Very outdated, carpets stink, walls dirty bathroom in room moldy... shuttle service VERY LIMITED which screwed us on our flights! UPDATE YOUR WEBSITE. Pool & Hot Tub close at dark ? It's Florida...HELLO... Customer service is pathetic ..employees on their phone instead of realizing you're standing at front desk!! Irritating Totally canceling my Hilton Honors Credit Card. Worse trip ever to Florida

Great location. Near the airport with a shuttle. Clean rooms. Very friendly staff. Downside for me was the beds were very hard. But some people may prefer that. Other than no complaints for a short stay. Also very close to shopping and restaurants. There is also a longhorn restaurant right across the parking lot.

You got kids unsupervised running up, and down the hallway making noise when you're trying to sleep ! I didn't like the hotel. For what I paid for, I expected better. Not the Ritz Carlton level better, but cleanliness. Paying attention to details when you requesting things for your room, be accommodating. Better presentations with the people working the front desk. Act like you actually want to be of service, rather then act like I'm bugging you for the simplest things.

5 Star Service & Bountiful breakfast! The front desk is super accommodating and helpful with challenges. Mrs. Pearl is the best breakfast hostess generous with love and genuine hospitality. She loves serving others and making waffle for her guests. The Hampton Inn at Jacksonville Airport offers great rates and provides comfortable clean accommodations and Southern hospitality.

Great hotel with reasonable prices. It is very close to the airport and just a short drive to the cruise terminal. Even with the closeness of the airport to the hotel, we were never bothered by the sounds of incoming or outgoing planes. The staff was wonderful. Whenever staying in Jacksonville, check it out.

We were treated well. Breakfast attendant was very helpful, making sure we were aware of everything available. Rooms were clean and housekeeping checked in on day 2 to see if we needed anything. Everyone was pleasant and happy to help.

This was one of the worst Hampton Inn hotels that we've ever stayed in. The room was very small and not updated. My sister woke up with bites on both of her legs that we are assuming were bedbugs because they weren't there before she went to sleep. I've never had a bad stay at a Hampton Inn but this was an exception. We'll never stay at this hotel again.

I traveled to Florida from Tennessee to drop off my grandkids. We stayed here for the night. The hotel is older but nice and clean for the exception of the garbage cans outside the front lobby, which were full in the evening when we arrived and overflowing when we were leaving in the early morning. I was a little spectacle of the room because the hotel looked so dated. But to my surprise though the room was dated it was clean and it wasn't too bad. It had a clean fridge, a nice large flat screen TV, and a well cleaned bathroom. We took advantage of the free breakfast we went down. They had scrambled eggs and sausage patties. Waffle mix and waffle maker, so you can make your own waffles, home fries, bagles, toast, muffins, marble cake slices, oatmeal, coffee, orange juice. The area was very clean. What made our day was an employee called Pearl she greats everyone when you go to the breakfast area. She is what you call sugar and spice served with tons of love. She is an older lady who shows love to everyone who walks down to have breakfast and has the honor to meet her. She is there in case you need anything or help with getting what you want for breakfast. She keeps the area clean and tidy. While she is doing that, she is asking everyone how they are doing, engaging in conversation and in the same breath, blessing you with sweet words of encouragement and love. Every hotel needs a Pearl working for them in their lobby. It should be a trend that is most needed, Thank you, Pearl, for your awesome customer service, your kindness, sweetness, and giving everyone without discrimination of color, gender or race the love of God that flows through you. It was an honor and a blessing to have you. It made me want to be a better person.

the hotel was in great enough distance for airport. The room was clean however it had an peculiar smell that was not appealing. It would be nice if small bottle of Lysol or some type of refresher the smell of old mold was not accommodating. Customer services was awesome and well received. Thank you!

Check in experience was good. Was recognized as a diamond member and received my choice of some items. I choose two bottles of water. I was very disappointed in the room. There was hair on the toilet seat and shower. I only had shampoo, no conditioner in the shower. The soap bar box that was laid out to wash my hands with, was dirty. The bathroom overall looked thrown together, the vanity and caulking looked poorly done. The beds and pillows were fine, nothing special. Unfortunately could hear straight into the next room that had a crying baby. I did like the constant fan option on the thermostat. The gym was very nice and included a peloton, treadmill, and elliptical that changes incline. The lady running the breakfast during the weekend kept being very stern with people trying to serve their own food, it was a bit much. Took the shuttle to the airport. You have to ask to reserve the shuttle, but great experience with that. Overall, a decent stay and a convenient location for getting around. I usually enjoy most stays at a Hilton owned branch. This stay wasn't bad overall, but definitely not as good as many of the other hotels I’ve been at recently.

The girl that was on the third shift she was fantastic. She got us a bus Ride to the airport it was on time when she called for it right at 5 AM on Thursday, December 3 and she gave us some breakfast to go because it started at six we went earlier fantastic. Do you need more people like that above and beyond?

The rooms were very clean and the staff was helpful and fairly friendly. I appreciated the breakfast bar and gym. I stayed in two different rooms - the first was great, the second had a deadbolt that wouldn't work, and when I picked up the hotel phone to report it, it didn't work either. They moved me to a new room. There was bad weather so I tried scrolling through the channels to find the weather channel, though the remote was in rough shape and the buttons hardly worked - took me a long time to get to the right channel. It just made me feel like the place was a bit old and neglected in some ways. I'd definitely stay there again, as it was far more positive than not

I've stayed here about 4 times a year for the past 3 years and it's always a pleasant experience. The rooms and Lobby area are always clean, and the staff is always on top of their game. The continental breakfast is pretty decent as well.

The ladies at the front desk were SUPER sweet! I can’t remember their names, but I hope to see them again when we come back! Bathroom floor was sticky, but everything else was clean and comfortable.

Stated another hotel in the area and we had to leave, could not stay in our room. Was rated as a 3-star hotel. We stay in Hampton inns all over the US. And this one was no different. Exactly what we expected, clean, hot breakfast, service is always on point

The staff here are extremely friendly and helpful. We had issues with our room when we checked in and the overnight staffer was able to quickly resolve that was super apologetic and very friendly. Upon check out again the desk clerk was extremely friendly and really brightened my day.

Came from Tallahassee for a weekend getaway with the kids to go to the zoo and we loved Hampton Inn. We originally booked a cheaper place clear across town but after my husband seen the room and backup room they tried to give us we got a refund and booked Hampton Inn and I'm so glad we did. The kids enjoyed the pool and I enjoyed the clean room! The only downfall is the bed killed my back because it was like sleeping on concrete lol

My experience with Hilton has been nothing but a headache and unprofessional. You can save yourself countless hours by choosing another hotel chain. I made a reservation in June for a stay in November. I never received confirmation of the reservation, so I called Hilton. They had made my reservation with an incorrect email and incorrect spelling of my name. After talking with 2 different people this was told to be fixed. I still did not receive confirmation of my reservation. When I called in July, I talked to 2 different people again and spent nearly an hour on the phone for someone to find my reservation. At this point they also assured me a problem with my reservation would be rectified and they were going to send an email to the hotel I would be staying at and should expect a call back within 3 days. I called the hotel 2 weeks later, as I never got a response. They had no idea what I was talking about even after I provided them with a Hilton guest assistance case number. I did finally receive an email from the general manager of the hotel informing me that they needed to hear from Hilton Reservations directly to satisfactorily rectify the problem, and I needed to once again initiate that. Clearly indicative of their lack of communication within their company, and unprofessional mannerisms, I was forced to once again call Hilton Reservations myself to get them to follow up with the hotel on what they already said they would do. So, this morning I called Hilton Reservations again. The representative I talked with today would not rectify the problem stating “there was nothing she could do.” This is even though a previous representative assured me it would be done. She did inform me that she was the manager, she could not transfer me to anybody higher up as she was the highest up, that I could not get transferred to the previous person who said they fixed the issue, and that my only option was to call back to try to get connected to a different representative to try to rectify the problem. Save yourself a lot of headache and choose a different chain; I’ve traveled countless times and never had such a hard time even just to simply locate a reservation I paid for.

Received a very sincere welcome when we arrived. Desk clerk remembered my name hours later even though she was busy. Clean room and a decent breakfast. Would stay here again.

This hotel was perfect. The desk clerk who greeted me was friendly and informative. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. The hotel was only 15 minutes from downtown where we were attending a convention. And it was close to restaurants and stores. Very nice!

Nice hotel, typical Hampton inn properties. First stay (on the way to vacation) was $123.00 which is not bad but way back through town (on way home from vacation) price went up 225.00 but there was a playoff game in town the following day so that explains that. Location was great. Right behind a steakhouse…I think it was Longhorn. We were able to walk there for dinner. I would stay here again when passing through town.

Room was tidy but very dusty. In particular, the curtains and the fan were dusty. Upon turning on the heat/AC fan, dust blew out of the fan, causing one of us to have an allergy attack that lasted more than two days. The sheets appeared clean except they had stains. Hotel sheets should not be reused if they have stains. The bath tub spigot was coming loose from the wall. I called the front desk to report it and to let them know it was already like that when we arrived to the room so I should not be charged for that. The person who answered (Maria) indicated she would make note of it so I would not be charged. Although what happened later makes me wonder if she actually reported it. The desk phone was dirty. It looked like it had never been cleaned. There were dirty smudges on the lamp switch and the pull-out tray underthe bedside desk was also dirty. The sign in the bathroom indicated cleaning would be done upon request. While reporting the loose tub spigot I also requested the bathroom to be cleaned out and fresh towels given. The person who answered (Maria) did not have a nice tone, and said the housekeeping had shorter hours due to the holiday. The holidays are a busy time for hotels, so I couldn't understand why this particular hotel would shorten housekeeping hours during one of the busiest times of the year. The holidays are all hands on deck time at hotels, not a time to go home early. Maria said I'd have to go downstairs for fresh towels. This was totally opposite from when we checked in. The gentleman at the front desk during the night shift was helpful and brought what we needed to our room. We had needed extra towels and he even brought us some Lysol wipes. I had also asked Maria for a razor, since the bathroom sign also mentioned this in complimentary items that could be requested. She confirmed they had them available, so I sent my boyfriend down to get one. He brought a fancy Venus razor and said he paid for it. I told him they were supposed to give him a free one. So I called the desk again and asked why he was charged. Maria answered and said that particular razor was not among the free ones. So I let her know I would be bringing it down for a refund since she had told us they had free razors. She said that would be fine. I went down and requested the refund. Maria said she processed the refund. She would not give me a receipt when I asked for one, and told me the refund would appear immediately via Apple pay. I asked if she could take a picture with it on my camera phone. She ignored me and proceeded to ask the patron behind me if he wanted a check out receipt. Later that evening the refund still did not appear in my boyfriend's Apple pay account. I went down to the front desk again and spoke to a different lady (Siobhan) regarding the refund. She was a lot nicer than Maria, and printed some screenshots of the transaction. It turned out Maria had refunded the wrong account. The refund went to someone in a different room. Also we discovered Maria had tried to charge my room for the items instead of letting my boyfriend pay for them. Siobhan said there was nothing she could do and we would have to speak to the manager in the morning. The manager was courteous and refunded us in cash since it was only either $3 or $7. Maria did not provide an itemized receipt during the purchase either, so we don't know if she charged the correct amount or not. Also the manager was able to print my checkout receipt since the Hilton app indicated it was emailed and but was not. Fridge, microwave and coffee maker were provided. Fridge and microwave were clean. We did not use the coffee maker. Breakfast buffet was okay but there was no good vegetarian or vegan options. Waffles, cereal, 2% milk, scrambled powdered eggs, potatoes, some kind of pork, bagels, toast, and juice. And some fruit that did not look very appealing. They had plenty of juice except they were out of cranberry juice.

Free breakfast was good. Rooms were nice and clean with lots of room. Water pressure was excellent with a massaging shower head that helped with travel back tightness. Considering how close it was to the airport the price was quite reasonable. We have stayed at this hotel several times and it is always an enjoyable stay.

Just like the couple that was checking in at the same time as I was, this hotel was simply a place to stay as we waited for our flight home, as the hotel is an easy drive of about two miles from the airport. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly, so what more could you ask? It is located on a busy main road that leads to the airport, and restaurants and stores are nearby. Like most hotels, the pillows were limp bags of fluff, but the bed was cozy enough. The TV offered a nice variety of channels to while away your hours as you wait for your flight. I had to leave early, so I missed the breakfast.

came down to Jacksonville for my mom birthday. The 1st night we was there we thought was great until I woke up with hair on my legs and hands. Once my daughter woke up she had hair all over her also. I went in to the bathroom and seen hair all over the bathroom shower. That morning I went to the front desk and talked to a heavy set lady and she said she would have housekeeping clear my room by the time we get back. later on that night my mom and daughter went to the room and called me and stated no one came to clean to room. that morning when I went to pick them up I talked to a light skinned lady with short hair and told her everything that happened and she told me since I booked my appointment with a 3rd party it was nothing they can do. Travelocity called the hotel and they told them I never made a complaint and I was lying. The location was great because it was close to where the rest of my family was staying. My room was nasty, I woke up with hair on my legs and in my hair. My daughter also had hair on her when she woke up. Very upset with my room.
