I traveled for about 8years for work and it happens once in a blue moon when you have the room from hell. First the AC didn't work, then the TV wasn't working... Called to the front desk and by the time I got back to the room all was fixed. Nice fireplace in the back next to the pool. Great experience even with the problems. Great to know that if you ask for help they will take care of it!

Staff was friendly. We checked in at almost 5:00 pm and room still wasn’t ready. Front desk said someone was still in the room as of 4pm. So, we waited .. the Bistro was not open (on a Saturday night ?) Room is just ok. Window lock was broken. First floor room so concerned and had to rig it with a wooden hanger. One of the reasons we booked this hotel is they advertised a Starbucks in the Bistro. Sadly, it was never operational. Each morning we were served less then hot coffee from a dispenser in a Starbucks cup. Again, I realize everyone is doing the best they can, but this property falls short. I felt like the staff did the best they could. Rooms are outdated and we were in a handicapped room for whatever reason.

I was really impressed, place is clean, seems pretty up to date, modern style, room was comfortable and quiet. And the bed was surprisingly comfortable. Looking forward to staying here again.

I called Front desk night before. Me: Can I order breakfast for pick up? Front desk: Absolutely, just call us tomorrow and we will relay it to the restaurant. Me: great, thanks. -----The next morning----- Me: I'd like to place an order for pick up. Front desk: unfortunately, that's not possible. You have to place the order yourself and there's no way for us to communicate with the restaurant. Please educate your staff about this process!

Very accommodating pet friendly hotel. We stayed in a large comfortable king bed. With requesting a first floor room we were able to take the dogs out easily to a grassy area.

We came back to our room and found it as we left it. Bed unmade and towels still wet. I Went and asked the front desk why our room was not cleaned and she said they only cleaned the rooms every three days, unless you requested. She said there was a card in room explaining. There was not. I requested a cleaning the next (and last day) and they brought us fresh towels that night. The room was "cleaned" the next day, however, the trash was not emptied. The bar in the hotel closes at 10 pm but there is an honor shop with soda, beer and snacks. My husband went down and got a beer, only to discover nobody had a bottle opener. We called the front desk for a very important wake up call (we had an early flight.) No wake up ever came. This was service I expected from a budget motel, not a Marriott.

I could never thank the staff enough for how kind & accommodating they are! My family stayed here for 2 weeks with our pets in multiple rooms before moving into our new home. The employees were always sweet to the dogs when we would take them out for walks and always stop to talk to us. The hotel itself is extremely clean and always smells like it was just sanitized. The furnishings are updated and beautiful. Our one dog has extreme arthritis and the staff always ensured that he was okay as he made his way around the premises. The rooms themselves are incredible and sometimes I want to go back and stay there again for a night!

I booked this hotel before reading the bad reviews, so I was a bit worried before checking in. However, the overall experience turned out well. Pros: The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable, especially for someone who prefers a firm mattress. The front desk young man, despite being a new hire, was accommodating and polite. The location is good with easy access to restaurants and groceries like Publix’s. Cons: The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, affecting the lobby and 5th floor. There was a connecting door between our room and the next one, allowing us to hear the next-door customers, though they were mostly quiet. Generally speaking, the hotel is quite basic, if you only need a clean room for sleeping, the reasonable price makes it a good consideration.

Always lived Marriott Hotels..Rated a 3 because of a few issues!! CHARGE TO PARK IN THE HOTEL PARKING LOT!! TV had limited channels.. Breakfast $$, Room was nice, comfortable. ( Bathroom floor and shower not cleaned enough)

This hotel was nice but for the price you pay you would think they would have continental breakfast... be aware of the Lizards in your room😂😂😂

A wonderful night's stay The mattress was a 10/10! The staff was very customer service oriented. It felt a high end hotel. We were very impressed.

I stayed at this location for a wedding, and the staff was beyond pleasant. Everyone was overly welcoming and hospitable, I arrived early than the check in time and they had a room ready for me instantly, the room was very clean and nice. But I can't overstate how pleasant the front desk staff and cleaning crew were. If you're going to Jacksonville, definitely put this location at the top of your list! Edit: Also, I saw a couple reviews stating that you had to pay to park here, which is absolutely not the case. You do not have to pay to park.

So, we got here and paid for the morning breakfast through a more expensive "plan" we were originally informed this was a FREE breakfast and we're unaware of the extra expenses because of the plan. When we were checking in they gave the party of 4, 2 free breakfast cards, when we asked the receptionist he said "kids don't need cards", kids in question are 16 and 14. Rooms were just fine. We got up in the morning to get breakfast and we're informed the cook isn't there yet (7:40a.m.) and told us we did need 4 breakfast cards, but we're happy to give us the other 2 cards. We waited and waited in our room checking every 10 minutes or so, and still "cooks not here" it is now 8:40 and we have places to be. We asked if we could get a parcial refund and they said "maybe" or they can give us a few things they don't need the cook to make. We were given a bacon egg and cheese sandwich and fruit, with a small drink, and only because someone from our party had a complaint. Overall nice people but I'm unimpressed.

My Family and I have stayed at this location a few times and the level of Customer service has always been top notch, Clean Rooms, and fresh breakfast choices. The entire staff at this location were very nice and made sure our stay was perfect. Definitely recommend this Marriott location :)

Beautiful hotel, staff was wonderful and very friendly. The beds were conformable, the room was spacious my only complaint would be the bathroom . The shower had hair on the wall , the tub could of been cleaned better and my bath sink had a ton of finger nails in it. I went to the front desk and they gave me a new room and apologized for the inconvenience.

We just checked in and there was a dried urine puddle on the bathroom floor, wet spots, most likely more pet urine on the carpet all over the room, dry dog or cat food on the floor and pet hair. This is not something I've seen at any Marriott hotel ever. The lady that came up from the front desk, I think her nickname is Q, has absolutely no manners at all. Very odd for a Marriott hotel. Won't stay here ever again.

At 3am they pick up the garage with an artillery bombardment that last 5 minutes smashing large metal containers around. Being from New York and lining through 911 I thought it was a terrorist attack it was loud and woke me up from a deep sleep causing heart palpitations for an hour. I'm sure the hotel will say they don't control collection times. Also their wifi doesn't work at all practically as I couldn't watch videos, although I have an older 4g computer so don't know if that makes a difference. Their engineer told me he isn't responsible for the Internet. The cat5 hard connection worked perfectly. And NO WATER this morning. And they don't have whole milk for breakfast. Bottom line if you don't need sleep, water or Internet it's a convenient place to stay to visit the hospital and the people are nice. I guess if I were 20, drunk and visiting the beach I wouldn't care. But being old and visiting my mother in the hospital desperately sleep deprived this matters.

Clean room, comfy beds, close to highway and to restaurants. However the hole place is under what i would describe as a major remodel. Lobby is a construction zone.

Room was clean, but bed was hard and pillows were either flat or overfilled with lumpy foam. Will not stay at this hotel again.

This was clean as expected at a Courtyard. Front desk person upon check in was super friendly. The reason for three stars: they were out of foam pillows and even out of extra feather pillows. We had less pillows on our bed than a typical hotel. The pillows were awful and the bed was hard. I believe the hotel should have enough pillows to accommodate their guests. Also, no free coffee in the am.

The best hotel room we have ever stayed in hands down! Layout was like an apartment, however it was an upgrade for our Bonvoy Titanium status. Everything was immaculate, perfect & quiet. Now we are really spoiled!

A real disappoint for a Courtyard. Worst one I have ever stayed. Shower had long matted hair in the soap tray, something on the floor of the shower, no water pressure to wash your hair, sink had pressure, bed was clean thankfully, everywhere you looked it was poorly maintained, and no coffee station open. Usually Marriott maintains certain levels at their Courtyards. They missed this one.

As loyal Marriott customers we were very disappointed with this hotel. It was clean and spacious with a small couch, 2 chairs, mini fridge and microwave but the bed was as hard as a rock and the pillows were feather and too flat. After asking twice with the front desk for a foam pillow due to allergies, I received more feather pillows the following day!!! The hotel was fairly quiet except for occasional ambulance arrivals at the hospital next door and two dogs yapping from the room across the hall. I had no idea Marriott allowed dogs. We stayed four days to visit family and did not get any house keeping. We had to empty the trash and ask for soap and toilet paper. We never got either!!! I don't need anyone making my bed, or fresh towels, but I need toilet paper and soap. My husband took some from the bathroom near the pool so we had enough for our last day. I think I will try the Hilton next time. The front desk staff was cordial but not really friendly, except for the blonde haired man.

I used to stay at this location when traveling to Jacksonville for work. Last time was 5 years ago, was always pleased with rooms and staff. This stay started ok, but the place was really showing its age. Went to sleep, and was awakened by daughter saying she had bugs crawling on her. Found numerous flying bugs about the 1/2 inch long allover the room. Staff relocated us to new room with the comment that they would be losing $200 on that (not my problem). On checkout front desk (new person) explained that it is summer and there are more bugs (really??).

Had to stay for 3 days while moving. The desk help were all super friendly and very helpful. Our cleaning lady was exceptional and super friendly. While the hotel is being renovated our room / floor was completed, new & super clean. A great stay while we were there.

Great service, clean room, much nicer than many rooms I’ve seen. I would book there again. The bed was a little firmer than I like but I slept well. Never heard other people or doors slamming while I was resting.

The Courtyard by Marriott Jacksonville Flagler Center was great. The check in was easy and the room was very spacious and clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My only complaint was people smoking by the front door and having to walk through it.

Now... I won't post the photo because I've had some time to cool off but, the lady playing on her phone behind the desk completely ignoring everyone who came in was not a good start. I didn't say anything but I did sit there for a good 20 mins before she decided to turn off Judge Judy and check me in. The hotel full of baby Turkish wedding guests running around until 2 am wasn't the hotels fault but still wasn't the most pleasant experience. Otherwise, nice facility and friendly staff (except 1).

Very conveniently located of I95 and not far from shops and restaurants (even walking distance). The front desk worker who checked us in in the evening was very nice and so were both the evening and morning Bistro workers. The lobby is expansive and the pool area large and very attractive. The rooms also were large and there was plenty of parking. The 24 hour gym was a good size too.

If I could give this place no stars I would. My room had no shower curtains. I asked the front desk to provide and was given the curtains and told to take care of it. Well… that’s their job and not mine, but ok. Woke up in the middle of the night and what do I see on the floor? Roaches!!! I called the front desk to let them know and bo resolution. Do yourself a favor and stay away!

The staff was very friendly and our room was clean and very comfortable. Very impressed. The girl working walked all over hotel to find us a cart for all our luggage.

It is always a great stay when I stay here! Very beautiful hotel room, very comfortable beds, amazing showers - love the shower head and the soap, and the room is just set up so nice. The front looks amazing as well. Great snacks and drinks sup front. The front desk reps are super courteous, polite and make you feel like you’re at home / welcomed. This is my number 1, and only place, that I love to stay whenever I need a hotel room. No matter where I am in the world, Courtyard Marriott will always be my choice. The manager Gary Sabbagh at this location, and his staff, to shoved and beyond to make you feel valued, appreciated and like you are a t a hole away from home. Thank you all for everything that you do. -Kat (Empress)

This Is A Really Great Hotel Clean And Well Put Together... Are Receptionist at the front desk his name is Antonio he is really nice. He needs to be the face and head of this hotel. Never thought customer service could be so great!!! The hotel combination of his customers i would give this a 10/10 🌟.

I booked here while traveling ny to Miami expecting a pleasant stay .the hotel underwent a renovation since my last stay 2 years ago. I can be generous and say it was merely adequate and the renovation did little to improve anything. The staffing was sparse to nonexistent. I’m writing this while waiting for the complimentary breakfast now 45 minutes late. No coffee or food. Guests are stopping and leaving without . I’m it staying here again
