The hotel is beautiful! The service was good. When you walk in the first thing I noticed was that the hotel pic online was a true representation of the hotel. Anyways, the room was beautifully kept with an exception of the bathroom shower. The walls and floor in the shower were supposed to be white but there was mildew all over the grout on some of the walls and on the floor. I always wear shower shoes when I take a shower anyplace that is not home. I am glad that is my habit because I would've requested a room with cleaner showers, or a refund and went somewhere else. You would think that such a prestigious place would pay a little more to ensure the showers were cleaned better. Any shower mildew remover would've worked. Everything else was on point. Changed it to 4 star because it was a very nice hotel with a great ambiance with an exception of what I stated.

The Indigo had a great location for us. The room was beautiful with plenty of space. The shower was wonderful, very large. The beds were comfortable. We really enjoyed spending time out on the patio overlooking the water. We will definitely stay here whenever we are in the area. My only negative is that my room key stopped working 3x during my stay and I had to go down to front desk to get it fixed. But, the staff is so friendly that I would not take away a star for the inconvenience.

The lobby host was absolutely rude from the moment we walked through the door to check in. She was on a personal phone call which was playing on speaker phone. Later we asked if the hot tub was open, and she said they had been waiting on parts, but we could clearly see if was in operation with no marked signs that it was out of order. It seemed to be more of an inconvenience that I was asking. I also probably wouldn't have stayed at this hotel if I had known it was out of order. If you get a two bed room, the double bed is extremely small. I regret staying at this hotel and will not stay here again in the future.

Overall it was a very good experience. It was also lovely to be able to sit outside in between sessions; there were multiple types of seating areas both inside and out. I did not stay overnight, so cannot speak about the rooms.

This place is very clean and updated in a quieter, safe-feeling area. Stayed for two nights with pets and thought the fee ($75 one time) was fair. It borders a pond with a walkway which was nice. Starbucks and some restaurants in walking distance.

Im a Diamond member who travels often for work,this was one of my favorite stays. From the proximity to dinning and shopping steps away to the views outside my window. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and beautiful, and the breakfast was made to order. What else can you ask for! Highly recommended!

Hotel was nice and staff was courteous, my only complaint was that I saw 1 roach on the night stand. Which made me nervous, I called front desk to let them know and staff explained that they do regular pest control. I understand that at some point u may encounter a bug or something somewhere. But as a customer it would have been nice if a discount or something was offered in regards to me witnessing a roach. With that being said, I still rate it a 4. Hotel was nice overall and staff was welcoming.

We have been staying in a hotel every other week since August for my daughter to receive treatment for cancer. I try to stay at different places to change up the scenery for her. Every hotel we have stayed at in Jacksonville has been great with the exception of this one. Their staff is absolutely horrible. They are all so extremely rude to include the Bistro staff. I would 10/10 NOT RECOMMEND this place to anyone. When you are already going through so much and juggling doctors appointments , making that almost 5 hour drive one way, the last thing you need is terribly rude people. They were not only rude to me but they were extremely rude to my husband as well. He wasn't able to join us until almost 4 am but he was going to be there for our baby girl. Here it is, 4 o'clock in the morning, he is exhausted from working all day and then making the drive only to be met with yet another extremely rude employee of this establishment. DO BETTER HOTEL INDIGO.....

We just stayed here for one night but it was lovely! The hotel is beautiful from the moment you walk in the door. It has a very welcoming lobby with a bar and plenty of seating. We found a nice place to work in the lobby with power outlets after we checked out. That's really important for us because we are remote employees and often. Work while we travel. The location of this hotel is tough to beat. It's right off the highway but doesn't feel that way. The back of the hotel looks out over a beautiful lake. The hotel is at the back of a small retail center with shops and restaurants. There are a couple of casual options and one high end steakhouse that you can walk to. If those don't appeal to you there are about a million restaurants within a 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk. The room was very comfortable. We had a view of the lake, which was a bonus. The bathroom was spacious and the shower had hot water and good water pressure. The free soaps also smelled really lovely. Each room has a Keurig with several pods and condiments. They give you ceramic mugs instead of paper cups which o thought was a nice touch. I would stay here again if I were passing through Jacksonville or even staying for a while.

The room and bathroom were super clean and very spacious. I loved the mid-century modern inspired decor. The nearby lake is a beautiful backdrop for the hotel. It's in a central location near the highway, shops, and restaurants, but is very peaceful and quiet. The lobby has a really nice bar as well. We would definitely stay here again when in the Jacksonville area. The only cons were the bed was a little too firm for my personal preference and breakfast isn't included.

Pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Not sure what to expect when we first turned into the estate where it's situated but it was nestled away at the back next to the lake and really quiet. They are currently going through a revamp so there is obvious work going on but it doesn't interfere at all. My only complaint is that the doors aren't really soft close and they bang. Most guests just let them slam shut so it's not the quietest hotel. If that could be sorted then you've got a really nice hotel. Overall it was a pleasant stay. I will also add, Beth, who checked us in was just lovely.

Hotel Indi-NO-GO We value convenience and value in our hotels stays, and this hotel offered neither. The parking lot is the opposite side of the building from the front door. The lot is a thin and long strip, with poor lighting. Good luck if you are driving an oversize vehicle or have a trailer and the hotel is filled to capacity. The entrance driveway is small, only room for a few cars. The only elevator is in the font, far far away from the parking. The luggage cart is a small 3 wheeler, getting stuff from the car to the room was a pain. My wife checked in, and when I came through I asked the bored looking hostess about the Wi-Fi and got a somewhat flippant answer I would find that in the room card holder. Not the cheerful, helpful, friendly reception I was expecting. The room itself was fairly narrow, the entry way is probably too narrow for a full size luggage cart, hence the tricycle. The mini frig was broken, there is no microwave. The front door was not set right and very difficult to close, we accidently left the room unclosed twice by accident. The shower had mildew in the crack between the floor and the wall. We paid extra for a room on the lake size, and our view of the lake was 90% blocked by a big bushy tree. No complementary breakfast is offered, we don't need a fancy expensive dining experience in the morning, so we took a pass on the bistro. It is a nice looking hotel, with a beautiful lake. But lakes are dime a dozen in Florida, so not enough to redeem the stay. We would have been much happier at Marriott or Hilton...

We took an impromptu visit to Jacksonville with our two pups and haven't always had the best luck with hotels. But with Hotel Indigo, our girls had a blast and we were able to enjoy ourselves. The rooms are super clean and spacious. The staff were all very courteous to us and, despite it being a super dog friendly hotel, it was super quiet. We're so used to hearing small noises outside the hotel doors that generally spook our girls but not here! Water pressure in shower was perfect, location was perfect as there were plenty of food choices and close enough to anything you could imagine wanting to do, and areas to walk the dogs was plentiful. Can't wait to come back again!

The rooms are adorable and the view is amazing! I would love to give this place 5-stars but the front desk personnel has a very poor attitude, and put a horrible taste in my mouth. We’re staying here today and she spoke in a very condescending tone when asked pretty much any question, it’s obvious she either doesn’t want to be here or is having a horrible day. Either way it’s unfair to take it out on your guests and to act like we’re supposed to know certain things… we don’t work here. Serving as the face of the hotel, I would say that really needs to change or you’re going to lose a lot of business.

The rooms are clean, I think our issue was an isolated incident. I noticed that our sheet had a lot of pet hair on it. At first I thought it was maybe my cats hair, but upon further inspection it was dog hair. The customer service was great, lots of little shops near the area to check out. I would stay here again if I’m ever in town. :)

I love this hotel! We've stayed multiple times and service is top notch. It's a very convenient location and there are multiple restaurants within walking distance which makes it very convenient. It also has a beautiful outside area with fire pits and a boardwalk around a lake for walking. EDIT: The breakfast was really good with really great service by the waitress, I would highly recommend trying it (especially the French toast!). Mike at the front desk is amazing and provided excellent customer service and made us feel incredibly welcomed and valued as IHG platinum members. Thank you Mike and all the other staff!

Hotel staff was very nice and welcoming. It’s also in a great area. The rooms were a good size, but could have been cleaned a bit better. However it wasn’t bad. Outdoor seating area is very nice and the ambiance was peaceful. If I’m ever in Jacksonville again and need a place to stay I’ll be going back.

The room was great! The bed was comfortable and the shower was great. The noise level was really good. The staff were all very nice. Only issue came after check out. The room was to be billed to our office and was charged to our credit cards. Still working on resolving this. Otherwise it was quite pleasant!

The hotel and location were beautiful. Surrounding buildings and the hotel itself looked like it was all newly built. We had a room overlooking the water, on the fourth floor, if I remember correctly. (We visited in May 202 so can't really remember.) The room was spacious with 2 queen beds and a very good sized bath and huge shower. The bar/restaurant in the lobby was great and yummy. There is outdoor seating that is beautifully arranged and has lots of space. The staff all around was super friendly. We did ask for room service one of the days we were there which was not done but we were able to get needed essentials from the front desk.

Very impressive hotel on the water. Greeted by friendly, very helpful staff. Room was clean and bright and the beds were very comfortable. I would have given a 5 except for the following: public bathroom was very dirty, only 1 small trashcan in our room, the bar etal closed when we returned just before 10 and limited parking.

The room and location were great. However, I have contacted them multiple times for a refund of a night we were charged and a month later I still have not had any resolution. I initially contacted them to change the reservation, they supposedly did - they did not, they marked us as no shows and charged me anyways. When we got there we worked it out and I was promised a refund for that night. Never got it, contacted them again and once again was promised a refund and someone from management would reach out. Once again, no response and no refund. The hotel is super nice, but definitely not worth the hassle if you have to ever change your reservation. I'll try again in the morning.
