Mediocre hotel, I would have expected better for Courtyard. The room smelled as soon as you opened the door. The only thing that helped the mildewy smell was to have the AC fan running constantly which made the room a little drafty and as we were traveling with kids it was less than ideal. Had one roach in the room, although I know that can happen anywhere. Other than that the room appeared clean. Pool was closed even though we called the day before (as we were making the reservation) and they said it was open. So that was a bummer. We did not have the food because of how crazy overpriced it was so I can't say what the quality would have been...just that it's very expensive. Staff was friendly although some were definitely much more helpful than others and we received conflicting information from different people which was confusing. Overall, it could have been worse but I wouldn't stay here again if I'm back in the area and with so many hotels nearby, I'd recommend checking out a different one.

Do not stay at this location. I booked this hotel for a family room block to attend a funeral. Upon arrival, all the rooms had a mildew smell. The carpets badly need to be replaced. Since everywhere else was sold out, we bought air fresheners and stayed. The elevator shakes so bad, people opted for the stairs. To top it off, my car was broken into with items taken and the hotel has NO security cameras outside the building. I reached out to the leadership team a month ago and have yet to be contacted. Very disappointed as I am very Marriott loyal and the sales person was extremely helpful.

I’m a loyal Marriott member and have been for years (Ambassador). I’ve been to plenty and seen the spectrum of service and cleanliness. The only real saving grace for this review is the absolutely stellar customer service provided by Ms. Rochelle at the front desk this evening. Unfortunately, I cannot for the life of me endorse the rest of this property based on my complete dissatisfaction with the cleanliness of the room. From live reptiles (I get it, it happens- but in the room though?), to visible body hair in the shower, and (blood?) stain on the ceiling… I just can’t work with that. Not the worst place I’ve stayed, but definitely in the bottom rung of the Marriott properties I’ve been to. Rochelle though- promote above peers and relocate to a better property that matches her awesome value. Will be reporting the positives and the negatives of this review as far up as I can.

Enjoyed our stay, excellent staff, only issue was the workout room was too warm. Location was great, easy access from I95. Clean room, We will definitely stay here again.

What a difference, this Marriott is worth staying at, the people are very friendly and pleasant the place is clean there’s a. Bistro that’s open that serves excellent food overall we will come back here for sure. Great staff great service equals a good nights sleep.

My room was actually better than the hotel looked on the outside. You can tell the hotel somewhat updated, but not fully. My room was clean which is what matters to me. The bed was also very comfy, like any other Marriott hotel. Staff was friendly. Equipment in fitness center was newer, which is nice!

The staff is SUPER friendly, was really impressed with how everyone I walked by either offered to help me (I must've looked lost) or said good morning! Keep it up! One star lost b/c I was really not impressed with the pre-made microwaved breakfast sandwich. Coffee was good though!

We arrived after driving for 7 hours, so happy to reach our destination safely for the night!! We walked into a cool, sparkling clean lobby and were welcomed by a friendly staff! While Courtyards are predictable (thank goodness) this did not disappoint! The Bistro was clean and lovely! Sarah was warm and welcoming and very geared to please us. Food was great and service was greater!!

Pamela at the front desk was amazing! We stopped through while traveling to Disney around 1am as we were too tired to continue our trek. She was more than accommodating, professional and courteous. They were down to the last few rooms; she went above and beyond to make sure we were able to get a place to lay our heads for the night, I am forget grateful. The rooms were comfy and clean. I’ll be sure to stop through again just to see Pamela! Recommend recommend recommend!

Business Trip Feb. 3-6 ... beware of the housekeeper on the first floor she is super rude and aggy. The Asst. general manager needs to be RE-Trained her people skills are way off. I hope they hire an exterminator for all the pest in the hotel with the TV's don't work hotel is just trashy.... my whole family will review this hotel being that we had about 4 room this weekend. DO NOT STAY HERE !!!!!!!

Rooms were great. I didn't mind paying 140$ after arriving at 2am .but woke up to a busted drivers side window. Only to find out that there are no security cameras or security guards. All the hotel offered was a piece of plastic to cover my broken window. Before that I was about to get another room for two more nights. I won't be going back. Improve your security measures.

I stayed with my brother, and my sister service was awesome, but only one thing that really bothered me was there was no ice on our floor. I had to go to the 2nd? Floor still no ice, but the lady at the customer service desk she provided me with ice from the kitchen. All in all great stay I will return.

We stayed here for vacation. We enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect and the rooms were clean. The pool is too cloudy for us. I get they need to treat for all situations but that's no reason to not have clear water in the pool. The sink space in the room is limiting for two. Besides this the rest was great. Cleveland was fantastic at the valet and took good care of our Jeep.

Very close to the airport so took advantage of their Park and Fly rate. Service was great. Rooms could use some TLC.

Excellent customer service, excellent rooms. Corine Matthias was overly helpful. She went over and beyond her job description and gave me an extra hour on late checkout. I will Definitely stay here again. One of the best Courtyards I've ever stayed in. I'm a driver so I've been to alot nationwide!! Excellent stay here!

Front desk is very friendly. The room is clean , the carpet looks like its dirty . There is no whirlpool and the swimming pool is not usable. It's dirty . After asking about it I got told ' o there should be a sign on the front desk not to use the swimming pool ' it wasn't. Breakfast you have to pay for it , nothing is included in the room price.

The room and service was excellent. It appeared to have a breakfast area, but it was a Starbucks. The manager was so sweet and gave us free coffee.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! We had the best customer service that I have ever had with a Marriott. We arrived late and used the shuttle service at the airport and our driver Reggie was courteous and welcoming. We got checked in with Pamela who was also very welcoming. We had some items door dashed to the front desk that she assisted with. My husband has a cpap and so we had ordered distilled water to be delivered in our dash order. When we got to our room it was clean and the bed was comfortable. We realized the dasher didn’t get the right kind of water we needed for the machine. We couldn’t get a new dasher at this late hour. Uber and Lyft were not available either. I went to the front desk to ask Pamela for a cab company recommendation. She said let me as my manager if the shuttle driver can take you. The approval was granted and Reggie took my husband and I to a 24 hour pharmacy and returned around 2am. This was way above and beyond his job. The staff there were so kind. Even the ones we interacted with when we checked out. The location is convenient to the airport and the shuttle to get to and from the airport is so helpful. I would highly recommend this place. I had read some reviews prior to staying and they almost stopped me from staying here. I am one who reads a lot of reviews but doesn’t leave them. However, these people helped us in a time of need and were so pleasant even though it was so late so I wanted to share that with the world! Anytime we pass through Jacksonville this will be our hotel. We can’t thank everyone enough. We were able to get a good nights sleep after some long travel. I am sure most who stay here use it for the airport proximity and the staff sees a lot of short term stays. They made us feel like friends and that they truly cared. Thank you to Reggie, Pamela and all the other staff. You all are ROCKSTARS!

Room was clean and had no smells, staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was really good! Several restaurants walking distance. Not the fanciest hotel you'll ever see but we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again. Shuttle from the airport was super helpful!

Unforgettable arrival, as we brace for Nicole, anticipating the overwhelming times ahead and the weather update on every weather channel we arrive at the Courtyard Marriott. Within minutes our checking was completed and we got our room keys in our hands. Other folks on this trip were also on their way, so we waited around in the lobby for 20 mins as l sat there l began to notice my surroundings the abstract wall pieces. I noticed the adds of delicious menus that was advertised like the bistro bar, Pizza and chef-like ideas It was not busy and not off-peak hours the counter clerks were at their post taking care of those that were checking for their details. Overall the Stay was comfortable At ease and very peaceful. I had never stayed at this location so l Just added it to the many locations around the US where I have stayed. DC, Courtyard Maryland, Dallas TX, LA, VA, Tyson corner, Jacksonville FL Chicago ILL, and the main DC Marriott. Marriot hotels are known for their complimentary breakfast and Dinner. During an extended stay at the Fairfax VA Church Street Tyson Corner, there were some meals of pasta salad, meats, and entrees on certain days. Breakfast starts at 9 pm and consists of a rich variety of options and choices to choose from. Cereal and fruit, and real boiling water for your tea and hot chocolate The children can eat to the max, milks water juices cakes ice cream, and yogurt. It is my experience that staying at the Marriott is the first choice for my hotel needs, cashback in your pocket with free breakfast and dinner for an extended stay, coin laundry for fresh Laundered clothing and taxi service at your fingertips. Wifi access in all rooms and available ice maker and cold drinks along the way, all of it to make your stay as comfortable as your home. Sharing this experience with my group was timeless, it now belongs to the team that visited with us on this trip. and our team of ministry travelers. Were very pleased. My travel ball organization and me stayed in this location for the weekend. The staff was exceptionally professional and helpful during our visit. I would specifically like to acknowledge the professionalism and customer service Ms. Aisha provides. She goes above and beyond the norm to take care of the guest.

This hotel was great. the staff was very nice and friendly. My room was very clean and smelled so good... I was in room 123 and loved it. I will return again.

I do not recommend this hotel house keeping is rude. The assistant GM is no better. The TV’s don’t work and even if you smoke outside housekeeping will frame you just to get a smoking fee…. Oh let’s not forget the roaches…

Within a 5 minutes drive from the airport you will find the Courtyard by Marriott. This seems to be an older property from the exterior, but they do a great job with building maintenance and an even better job with the interior renovations bringing in vibrant pops of colors against the dark wood decor. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Staff is friendly. My only concern is the speed of service in the bistro. Thankfully it was not very busy on the morning of my visit when I waited 15 minutes to place an order with only two people ahead of me. Seem to be one person working. He was very friendly and professional.

On arrival the clerk at the desk was swift and deligent to get us to our rooms. The lobby was not very busy, it was very beautifully arrayed. The computers were alongside the wall and this gives a sense of freedom and confidence as you can access the internet and outside your hotel room. There was food and drink for purchase The bistro add was very clear and inviting. Bottles of complimentary water was offered to us while we waited During the 3 days stay we had complementary breakfast and a private setting for all. Two beds non smoking rooms clean Spacious and enjoyable. A small mircowave, and refrigerator Flatscreen tv and iron and ironing board. A working phone and AC. There was one problem and that was with the keys to the room, the keys did not work, and this was our only concern, why we had to make trips to the front desk. Yesterday 7/22/22 i was flying to DR, my airplane had a breaks problem, and i have to stay in town, American Airlines gave me a hotel and a voucher for food, i stayed in Courtyard, in a king bed, they gave me a very good service, everything was very clean, i love the shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom, the customer service was ver professional and nice, I only have good things to say about the Courtyard. I had a shuttle driver to bring me back and fourth to the airport. Yesterday was a good day for me after have 7 bad years to wait for a good thing to happen to me.

My stay was absolutely amazing. Everything was super clean , fresh & comfortable. I also really utilized my Ambassador status perks which are the best ever. Thanks to PAM G who absolutely amazing and she had some funny jokes to brighten your mood. Also Amelia helped me with my check out and was so nice and helping I felt like a king. And to Tracey the nicest and caring hotel employee I’ve ever met in my life she was phenomenal im ending my visit here amd I can only think about when I come back! Great Job Courtyard By Marriott. I can’t wait until my next stay here. 5/5 stay!!

Easy in/Easy Out. The shuttle starts at 4am and you must tell the front office you intend to use it so they can put you on the list. Close to the airport with clean rooms. I made a comment to my wife that it was the best smelling hotel I've ever been too 😂.

Came to Jacksonville FL for a Jaguars Football Game. The hotel is conveniently located within a few minutes drive to the airport. The staff was polite.....friendly....&..... exceptionally helpful. They had a video monitor with the flights coming into & out of the airport. ...... It was a reasonable 25 minute ride to & from the stadium. The room was clean .......towels were restocked upon request.....&......the housekeeping staff kept the ENTIRE hotel immaculate and nearly spotless. There was also bountiful shopping within a 10 minute drive..... featuring an outdoor based SPRAWLING retail center I would recommend staying at The Marriott Courtyard by Jacksonville International Airport.

Good quality price ratio for long term stays. Rooms are cleaned, staff is very nice and cordial. The gym is very small, but you can adapt and do basic exercises. The have a few treadmills and a bench with dumbbells.

Check in and check out were a breeze! Staff is super friendly and helpful. It is a smaller and slightly older of a hotel than some others in the area, and it could be a little cleaner... but overall it was a nice stay. Everything was in working order, and we had no issues.

The staff at this hotel are so kind. I really enjoyed my stay. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The gym was on the small side, but I had the entire room to myself, so it was great! The folks who ran the restaurant at breakfast were very nice. Plus, it was only about 5 mins from the airport. I had a wonderful stay.
