If
you
expect
to
use
the
pool,
call
to
confirm
it's
open
before
you
go!
My
mom
called
to
reserve
the
rooms
and
asked
the
pool
hours
and
was
told
until
8pm.
When
we
arrived
(well
before
8pm
and
maybe
2.5
hours
after
she'd
called
to
book
the
rooms)
she
was
informed
the
pool
was
"closed
for
maintenance."
Why
they
didn't
tell
mom
that
info
when
she
asked
the
hours
is
a
challenge
to
understand.
There
was
also
no
offer
to
call
one
of
the
neighboring
Marriott
hotels
that
had
an
open
pool
to
ask
if
we
could
use
it.
The
beds
were
harder
than
rocks
(and
I've
slept
on
rocks
while
camping)
and
the
cleaning
solution
used
is
REALLY
strong,
for
those
who
are
sensitive
to
scents
(smelled
like
undilluted
PineSol
was
used,
it
was
that
strong).
My
mom
was
under
the
impression
the
hotel
was
new
but
it
most
definitely
was
not.
It
had
a
makeover,
for
sure,
and
the
lobby
area
was
nice.
But
our
1st
floor
room
still
felt
dated.
It
was
nice
to
have
the
sink
separate
from
the
toilet/shower
area.
And
I
the
fridge/microwave/bar
area
was
convenient.
We
could
hear
all
the
doors
along
the
hallway
closing
-
likely
due
to
the
inch
tall
gap
under
our
entry
door.
The
free
breakfast
was
very
basic
but
met
our
needs
(toast,
scrambled
eggs,
hard
boiled
eggs,
sausage
patties,
some
sort
of
breakfast
corn
muffin,
cereals,
juice,
fruit
that
was
pretty
old).
The
individual
milk
boxes
the
kids
got
had
soured
but
the
nice
lady
maintaining
the
breakfast
area
brought
out
a
gallon
of
milk
to
use
for
cereal.
