Very nice stay at Holiday Inn Express and Suites st Hodges Blvd, just one exit from Mayo Clinic. Very nice room and facilities and convenient location. A Publix Supermarket is just 150 yards away, to get some good food at the deli. Was also a very nice breakfast at Holiday Inn. Pricing is much better than the hotel which is on the campus of Mayo Clinic.

They were able to give us the option of choosing ground floor or top floor, we went for ground since it was so convenient for us. Parking was good and Publix was right next door. Very quiet location. Downside was that when we checked in we couldn't get in the pool since it wasn't heated, so we missed out on that. Overall the front desk guy was very nice!!

Price per night was not inflated like other hotels in the area. Clean, quiet location. Breakfasts and coffee was good. Only downside we had was the thermostat seemed to give us control of the A/C ...but we're sure the room twmps were hotter than 65°. Thanks Holiday Inn for a great stay!

My parents are both disabled. My mom has had a double lung transplant and my dad a stroke. My mom is a patient at Mayo Clinic. They stayed at this place recently and the ac leaked, soaking the carpet. They had no clean wash rags or towels even when requested. My parents do not like to make a fuss so I called and the guy at the front desk did not care. The guy at the front desk told me they do not replace towels daily. My parents ask and they still did not get clean towels! Disrespectful staff and not clean.

Hotel was an extreme pleasure to stay in. ALL the staff were 10-star people. Could not have asked for better. Room was large, clean, quiet and very comfortable. Breakfast was hot and delicious. Coffee was always available and fresh! Location was fabulous....close to everything. Reservations have already been made for our next visit!! Stay here!!

We stayed here in the past and it was much better. The physical condition of the hotel as deaerated. The curtains including blackout, don’t cover the entire window? The closet doors stick, coming apart. The owner apparently changed TV providers, reception is horrible, couldn’t watch any channel without interruption. Internet doesn’t load well. As an IHG member, status was not acknowledged or even mentioned. I’m wondering if the owner is

The room was clean and comfortable and had a good view of the pool and golf course however despite advertised photos there's no hot tub. Why would you take amenities away yet charge the same rates. When I told Nicholas, the front desk receptionist who was very nice, that this was one reason we chose the place he asked his manager who said there's nothing he could do since the photos were publicly posted by other guests. No excuse since they still respond to these reviews on Google and yet haven't updated. We also chose the place because my husband is a Mayo Clinic patient and this place was referred for discounts for patients. My husband is in a wheelchair so a wheelchair accessible room should be offered. Oh by the way the pool had debris from trees floating around in it and ladders and paint was on the deck. Water too cold too. Since the hot tub was removed the pool Should be heated but obviously they don't want to take the time to upkeep either. The place is average but not enough amenities for the price. If you're going to take away amenities then the rate should be decreased

This was the second time we stayed at this hotel, last year we stayed and in the morning when we went down for complimentary breakfast, the staff informed us that their food delivery didn't arrive so they had nothing to serve they didn't even have milk for the coffee even though they had a Publix next store. As IHG members we thought that one bad experience shouldn't stop us from trying again so on this second stay when we arrived at 6:00 PM after a long day of driving with our Autistic son when I was checking in, the front desk clerk was having a conversation with the guest ahead of us explaining that they had no hot water. I was very disappointed to hear this and when it was my turn, I asked why no one had called us that whole day so that we could make alternate arrangements and got no response. That was the last time we will be staying at this particular Holiday Inn. Customer experience is not important to them

It wasn't too bad of a hotel, but honestly it's pretty run down and needs some deep cleaning, updating and repairs, especially for the price. We had to visit Mayo so we stayed here once, but on return visits we plan to find somewhere a little bit nicer to stay.

We checked into the hotel with Kiah. She went above and beyond each day. Kiah was extremely friendly and made our stay absolutely enjoyable. Every member of the staff was friendly and welcoming. They took the time to get to know us and greeted us by name. I will definitely be staying here again!

I stayed at this hotel for 2 quick nights. Room was clean, bed was comfy. The pool area is nice and open late! Could not find front desk clerk when it was time to check out but other then that decent place.

In town for my sister's procedure at Mayo. The hotel is so clean and nice. The rooms aren't humid like most hotels. It's comfy like home. The staff is hands down some of the best hotel staff I have ever encountered in my life. They have been amazing in every single way. Thank you all for such a wonderful experience!

Natalia checked us in. We were there for my Brother's funeral. She was so sweet and comforting. Only thing that needed improvement was the breakfast bar. The poor guy cooking needed help. He was trying to cook and bring out the refills on the food. He tried so hard and a lot of people, including us we're very irritated. He should have had another person in the kitchen and one in the breakfast room. We felt sorry for him.

Absolutely the worst hotel experience EVER!!! Paid almost $300 to stay for less than 24 hours Heard banging all night from all different areas. Didn't get breakfast or coffee. No conditioner in room, "hot" shower was like warm. Absolutely the worst!!! Thank you for the response. However No thank you! We needed sleep as we just drove 22 hours and we got hardly any. For $300 and no sleep later we might as well have slept in our car.

This place is nothing like the pics. I paid $180 for one night, for a king bed and jetted tub. The jetted tub didn't work. One of the AC units didn't work. There was no light in the lamp on the nightstand. The hot tub is unavailable. The condition of the hotel is poor at best. I asked for another room with jetted tub. Nothing available. Yet no refund or discount! The only reason I chose this hotel was because of the jetted tub in the room and the hot tub by the pool. Neither worked! This room is worth maybe $50 a night at best. I'm livid to say the least. If nothing is done by management or corporate, I plan to post pictures and my negative review everywhere possible. This is unacceptable!!!!!!

My room was very clean. The staff are very friendly. Really appreciate housekeeping doing such a great job keeping the rooms nice and clean. Good location near Mayo Clinic. Thank you.

Website advertised jetted tub. There were none. Website stated there was an indoor and outdoor pool. Only outdoor pool half covered. Pool had as many leaves inside of it as the surrounding trees. Property is beautiful. Low rating for false advertising

Facility was clean, but the only reason we drove from the St. John’s Town center Holiday Inn express to this one was for their advertised indoor/ outdoor pool. Weather was unpredictable and looked like rain, so we stopped shopping and we’re gonna snag a room, but wanted to swim if we weren’t shopping. Upon check in, no one mentioned it being out of order. We were only staying the one day, as we had to check out for surgery at the Mayo Clinic the following day. After getting ready in our room for the pool, we were informed at the front desk that is was still closed, that they were working on it and it should be open tomorrow. Since it was the only time we could swim, I wish we had stayed over in the Town center or headed towards the beach as we could have done something local at that point. I do think it would be an awesome place to stay if everything had been open, it seems clean, they had Dove soap products in the rooms and a comfy King Size bed, cold ac and there was a Publix shopping Plaza very close.

This hotel is not up to holiday inn standards. It’s run down. The walls are all banged up. I requested a accessible room and you can barley get in the door. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was disconnected so the bathroom was loaded with mold. The shower had mold around the base. I would suggest looking for another hotel.

I can not comment on the rooms because we never made it there. If negative star options were available for service I would give this hotel negative stars. Do not assume they will have the room type you were guaranteed. This hotel staff, especially Ali, need some extreme training in customer service, tact, and decorum. Instead of trying to pass the blame to anyone else try to solve the problem. It seems to me that if a hotel is oversold, an equitable solution or a cancelation should be offered. Neither were by this hotel staff, or corporate customer service. Stay far away from IHG if you expect to get what you reserved.
