I’m
not
one
to
leave
reviews
usually,
so
when
I
do,
it
means
it
was
worth
me
going
out
of
my
way
to
share.
Usually,
Extended
Stay
America
is
fairly
decent.
This
time,
I
booked
my
room
through
Orbitz,
who
I
usually
use.
When
I
arrived,
I
was
given
a
room
number
and
key.
I
went
to
the
room
number
I
was
told
and
was
written
on
the
little
envelope
the
key
was
in,
and
the
room
was
occupied!
I
went
back
to
the
desk
to
let
them
know
and
the
girl
behind
the
desk
at
first
accused
me
of
lying.
Then
she
begrudgingly
gave
me
a
new
room
assignment.
After
unpacking
in
the
room,
I
realized
that
my
phone
had
notified
me
that
I
had
been
charged
for
the
room
again
after
I
had
paid
in
full
through
Orbitz
when
I
booked.
I
went
to
the
front
desk
and
the
girl
there
told
me
I
couldn’t
get
a
refund
until
the
manager
was
in.
I
left
the
hotel
to
go
grab
some
dinner,
and
when
I
came
back
the
room
key
wouldn’t
work
in
the
door.
I
had
to
go
to
the
front
again
and
get
the
key
reactivated.
In
addition
to
all
of
this,
the
room
in
this
“non
smoking
hotel”
wreaked
of
cigarette
smoke.
Then,
when
I
called
to
speak
with
the
manager
to
get
my
refund,
I
had
to
call
in
four
times
just
to
get
an
answer.
When
I
did
talk
to
the
front
desk
girl,
she
was
very
polite
and
nice
which
I
appreciated.
She
was
working
on
getting
me
the
help
I
needed
when
I
got
hung
up
on.
When
I
called
back,
I
believe
the
manager
answered
(but
never
said
who
she
was)
and
told
me
the
refund
would
be
seen
in
3-5
business
days.
I
appreciate
the
fact
that
they
were
willing
to
get
me
the
refund
and
handled
it
fairly
well
when
I
finally
could
talk
to
someone,
but
I
was
very
disappointed
in
this
hotel
overall.
I
understand
that
it
was
a
cheap
room,
and
I
wasn’t
expecting
a
Marriott
stay,
but
I
was
expecting
this
to
be
better
than
it
was
in
comparison
to
my
other
stays
at
Extended
Stay
America.
