We were grateful when we arrived early, and they helped us and allowed us in our room earlier. We were shocked when we went into our room. I can be very nasty here, but they say a picture speaks a thousand words. I have managed a Holiday Resort with accommodation for six and a half years. I was shocked, and it was clear that there was no supervision over the cleaners. They don't do their job, or management don't employ enough people, and there are not enough cleaners to do their job properly. Maintenance is also lacking. The floors were so dirty that we had to walk with socks. They have not seen a broom or water for cleaning for a long time. In short, you through your business away with rooms looking like this.

A little bit off the highway. Definitely an older property that has been renovated a few times. The toilet was not clean. The room smelled very, very musty; even the air coming out of the AC Unit stunk....coils probably needed cleaning. The LVT floors were sticky and the humidity in the room made the dirt stick to anything that touched the floor. The best thing about the property is the parking lot is well lit and there was a security guard on site.

Absolutely disgusting. Would NOT Recommend. The first room we went to there are patches covering holes everywhere in the room, the floor was covered in cigarette Ash, the bed had cigarette ash on it. We got a second room and not much better, there are stains all over the walls, there are holes from knives in the floor, everything is covered in this oily cleaning solution that I almost fell because of. There is no refrigerator, no microwave, no coffee maker, there is a literally a small cheap TV and two small cheap beds and that is it. wifi is not secure. Just an open account. Don't even know if it's real. Got back from dinner and our key did not work so we got another key, then we got another key, then the manager came with us and forced the door open with a pry bar, leaves a since of security doesn't it?!?! We have decided not to post this until we have slept on it to make sure we did not over step out bounds due to being tired and-or emotional. We decided what we wrote was actually being kind. It's even worse than we wrote. Please stay away.

When I told Jessica/Jezebel at the front desk the room was just for one, I didn't realize it was a shared room. The second and third roommates arrived from behind the fridge 20 minutes after arrival. They were roaches. The place was dirty. Hair on the toilet seat, the shower appeared it hadn't been cleaned in years, the deadbolt flange was so bent from the door being kicked the deadbolt didn't work, the TV remote wouldn't turn off nor shut up Spongebob, and there was dog food on the floor. After that 15-hour drive, I could look past everything except the roaches. Took lots of pics. Asked the front counter for a refund. They didn't seem to care and couldn't do much. The previous shift manager outright lied to Motel 6 corporate about the room condition and roaches. A refund was provided with corporate assistance.

Horrible. Pretty much best word I can use to sum it up in one word but in all honesty, this hotel can't be explained in one word. Especially if you're trying to help others save/spend their money at a place that's worth it. Driving from MD to Miami on a business/vacation trip - stopped on a whim to get some sleep to complete our trip the following day - 2 adults and 3 kids....When we pulled in there we 3 police all over the front building for some reason. Then we parked and walked into the room and one child had to use the bathroom. Needless to say she was freaking out talking about bugs in the bathroom. When I went to look at her, I then seen 2 more bugs crawl behind the mirror on the wall. THEN, I look at the floor - we had already stepped on 3 and killed them. I looked at my spouse and said we cannot stay here that's when I seen 2 more baby roaches crawl up the wall beside the door he was standing in with my suitcase in hand. At that point we had only been in the room all of 3 minutes and had seen 9 roaches. We went to the front desk for a refund and that took a half hour because they couldn't figure out how to do it. Moral of story: NEVER BOOK THIS HOTEL!!

No hot water, room was extremely filthy. Definitely not well maintained or cleaned. Front desk was friendly. The photos do not do the grossness justice, under the sink was open food and a lot of bugs. After being there for less then thirty minutes, I went into the office and told them I wasn’t going to stay. No hot water? Blew my mind. I was only refunded for the other days of my stay, but still us to put for the first night even though the room was not sanitary to stay in.

Traveled from CA to FL and stayed at motel 6 the whole time with 4 small pets with no problem and no fees. This place has a 2 pet policy and charges $10 each per day. Doesn't make any sense, why is it so different?

This was honestly one of the grossest hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed at. The floor was nauseatingly dirty and coated with a film that visibly stuck to your feet, and the room stank of cigarette smoke even though I booked a non smoking room. Just a thin sheet on the bed as a cover, which was the consistency and texture of a paper napkin. Never ever again will I stay at a Motel 6 while passing from Asheville to Miami; this place was grim. I can’t believe I paid $75 to stay here.

Only planned on staying a night and ended up staying a week. Only complaint I have was not having a mini fridge in my room. Unlike some of the rude people I’ve encountered in the area, OZZY at the front desk is exceptional! The way he greeted me & his demeanor to take care of any issue or concern we had will always be a reason to come back and visit.

The rooms are full of mildew. The rooms have "ghost ants" and they are everywhere. The stove area was greasy and uncleaned. The bathroom had a line of toothpaste going down the wall by the sink. There was dust and hair everywhere. I felt sick the whole time. The staff was rude. One room below ours had women going in and out all night and day. I mean at least 20 different women. Then there was drug deals all over the parking lot. This place offended me. They cost as much as or more than a nice hotel would cost. I would not stay there again.

Check out the photos!!! Should have just slept in a Walmart parking lot!!!! I checked in at 3:45 and went back to the front desk not even an hour later. I should have checked the entire room but I have never been checked into a room before that was a problem. I’m not hard to please. And I’m not one to write bad reviews but this place and the manager was ridiculous! I had just stayed at a motel 6 in Dallas with no issues. After being in the room for about an hour I used the restroom to find a massive growth of mold above the shower. The shower was rotted out also. I didn’t mind the humid, musty room. I didn’t mind the rotted out floor boards. I didn’t care that the microwave and fridge was missing or that the stove top in the room was disgusting. The bed was clean and I wanted to get some rest and take a shower before the last leg of my drive from Las Vegas to Miami. The front desk agent was nice but said she had to call her manager to reassign me a room. The property manager was condescending and passive aggressive. He asked me what the issue was with the room and cut me off when I was explaining it to him. I asked him to come to the room to see the mold!! He acted uninterested in the issue. It was such an inconvenience to him that I was asking for another room so I could take a shower!?! He had to leave his “baby” in the room. Poor you!!! He explained to me that he could only issue me a half refund and he would not give me another room because his cleaner would have to clean two rooms now!! LoL!!! All I wanted was a room without mold and a clean shower and a bed. Instead he kept half of my money and kicked me out!! The other issues in a similar room would not even be an issue. I feel robbed!!

Very rude staff and the hotels looks like it’s never been cleaned. The sheets had dirt stains and the air conditioner was black. Would not recommend for anyone.

Motel 6 Studio 6, is a large Long term stay hotel, where contracting crews from all over come to the area for work to help with our cities growth and find the need for a place to stay throughout the projects. Not to mention families that have chosen to make North Florida there home must have a place to stay while "House Hunting" which can be time consuming. However, Most people have some standards at there home. When 2-3, Children and/or parents spend three months anywhere, Should at least treat it like a place you could be residing for weeks too months. I would think that any adult should realize that maintaining there on area, indoors or in the Florida campgrounds and other outdoor parks should be left at least as they were when you arrived. I would like to see how most of the complaintants maintain there own homes. "Come on guys" Really.

My daughter booked the room for me and the stay has been very pleasant. Derrick and Andrea at the front office has been very accommodating. These new employees deserve some recognition. They seen me switching rooms from a standard room to a handicap room and stopped what they were doing to help as I am I am in a wheelchair. I just want to say thank you Derrick and Andrea. You guys are wonderful. God bless you both!!

Do NOT book this hotel!!! The pictures on the internet are definitely deceiving. We got stuck in a room in the back where the local live-ins stay. It was noisy. The room was not up to par. Roaches in the room but if you don't see any roaches in the 1st fifteen minutes you cannot get a refund! It was completely disgusting and not worth the $200+ charged. When front office was notified of roaches they had no care or concern and walked away to the back when suggested the room should be sprayed before renting to someone else. The bed was worse than sleeping on a rock. The covers had cigarette holes, paint chipping off wall, and only given one washcloth for two adults. This place is a dump. The service representative that checked us in was friendly and nice, the only positive thing about the hotel.

Hello I’m normally not this person once I leave good review it stay however as of today it must be removed because my exit from the hotel was not all so pleasant I am very much so aware that check out is at 11 and room must be paid however I had a run in with house keeping this afternoon round 2:30 as Informed house-keeping I am coming to the door now mind you I over slept due to being out in the weather door dashing to making a living for myself just to keep my room which the property manger knew that however on this day he became a whole new person because as I went to go pay my room now before that I had opened my door and yes I told housekeeping after speaking to her 2 mins before everything happened and was forced to leave all because of her. As I spoke with Ozzy right before she came in when I was walking to the office another work spoke to housekeeping because he was listening to what I said and I felt threatened because he came out of nowhere involving himself in something he didn’t have to I didn’t threaten nobody nor harmed anyone. On the other hand Ozzy told me to hold on real quick while he was speaking with housekeeping now at this time I felt like it was a set up because housekeeping told the young man that she got this and I felt as if she went in my room and had a talk with Ozzy now I never had a bother with Ozzy however the issue I have is the fact that because housekeeping and him step to the back to talk and I informed him that I’m not crazy so that was very unprofessional not only that the housekeeper don’t clean the room good enough right before the storm and I was paying for another night a man wanted his money back because of bugs in the bed and room which in deed is true I was in two different rooms and both had roaches as I was paying for my room one of the girls from front desk sound that was the fourth one and her and another employee was talking about house keeping and how they don’t clean up right you have security open room doors after you have checked in let alone you have the hotel manger saying out his mouth he has a gun underneath his shirt when another issue happened with another guest he was kicking out so the whole site needs to be shut down and redone over and for the record I’m not upset I had to leave I’m more upset that people play childish games and don’t know what a person maybe going on although this a business it’s not ran like one Ozzy felt some type of way as manger he felt the need to protect his employee instead of saying I’m so sorry I had already spoke with the guest and I got them more of the reason of being up set once I said I don’t play kid games and I don’t have time for it that’s when he changed his mind to protect her

I’m giving a 5 star based entirely on the staff and service. I’ve never felt so welcomed and taken care of. I booked the wrong type of room I needed and Ozzy jumped to help me make it better by offering other amenities to satisfy my needs. How Ozzy runs this place you can see he really cares for people. Some other reviews comment on him that he has children working here and that’s plainly not true. Some families live here and this place is like a community and he is the center of it. Sometimes he has the kids “helping” so they learn a thing or two rather than possibly running in the streets getting in to trouble. My husband and I spoke about this community here and we can’t imagine anyone else that would be better than Ozzy himself for this place. As for the rooms, it’s a motel 6 not a 5 star Hilton suite, if that’s what you are looking for then stay there. But here you can bring your pets with no hassle and extra charges. I would 💯 stay here again.

I made the mistake of putting the wrong dates on my reservation and Mr. Ozzy did not hesitate to take time out of his already fleeting schedule on his shift to graciously help me and my spouse. 10/10 exemplary human. Thank you for all the help, sincerely, from the waiting until I was accommodated to standing by for the phone call to modify my reservation through a third party website. Thank you a MILLION. Do recommend! Ask for Ozzy!

By far the best motel 6 I've been in, even the best motel. From the staff to the rooms themselves. Staying here regularly and having less than no problems. They've actually been more than accommodating. Hot showers, steaming. Polite and kind staff. Especially Ozzy, who i like more than my own mother.

  • 4/5 Matt M. 3 months ago on Google New
Ozzie and his team are some of the sweetest people I’ve ever talked to or dealt with when it’s come to working with people at hotel front desks, We had a couple issues with the people who stayed above us as they were drinking, racing up and down the back driveway and their trucks, and overall just being loud. Ozzie showed up on his day off and personally found me and wanted to apologize for all the issues that happened and then went up in personally discussed all the issues with them and ended up making it right The rooms aren’t perfect. They are trying to do some renovations and things like that, but Ozzie and his team are some of the most caring people I’ve ever dealt with, and will go out of your way to make sure that you were having a good experience. As somebody who just moved to the Jacksonville area a week ago and has stayed a few hotels this week, the experience here was the best of all three hotels that I have stayed at overall, and I hope to keep in touch with Ozzie after this!

Ozzy and the staff are some of the most accommodating and polite motel staff... ever i think. Its so nice ive reviewed it twice. I have yet to have a single negative experience here. By far the best motel 6, or even motel ive been in. Everything works, lightswitches, ac, shower, the people. I actually feel a sense of home when i lay my head here after a long day at work. Its cozy like Christmas.

Sept. 1, 2023 Today I went to the front desk to pay for a room and SHAWN was the receptionist at this desk he was very rude; nasty & sarcastic to me.His behavior was very unacceptable. But I politely put him in place. Ozzy is an exception to the rule he is a people person and he is very polite, he attended to my every need. He is the only one that showed that he cared about the customers. I give OZZY the four stars for his service. I was not able to use the stove or sink in the kitchenette, Ozzy was willing to get someone to check and request repair on those items. THANK YOU OZZY!

I came in to Motel6 I was kind of down from the day I had. Came in front office and the General Manager Ozzy noticed how I was looking him and front office Clerk Marshe. They was so polite and made me smile by singing a Christmas song. They turned my day around. The room was neat and clean and I can truly say a smile and song goes a long way.

Excellent hotel! The receptionist was very polite, the rooms were obsolete and I felt very safe. Would definitely recommended for anyone on a business trip. Not to mention the coffee was fresh and hot and the breakfast near by was delightful. I’m shocked as I experience nothing the other reviews are mentioning.

Complete garbage. When you go, avoid room. 253. There is no fridge or faucet. No microwave, and they didn't add covers to the bed. Thin walls and nosy tenants (but that's something you really gotta handle on your own, it's about respect). The employees do try, but they're hindered by an incompetent establishment.

I would think twice before booking a room at this hotel me and my wife paid for a week at this location and the first night my wife woke up in the middle of the night with roaches crawling on her! Needless to say we didn't sleep the rest of the night and requested a refund for the remainder of the days paid for!

The front check-out manager was absent and check-out was closed (at check-out time), posted as "out of office for 15-20 minutes". Had to wait and was late for my meeting. Room was filthy, roaches, smelled like mildew, phone was broke, no blanket, felt unsafe, etc.. Dont stay here.

  • 1/5 Cynthîa T. 8 months ago on Google
My room was disgusting and overpriced. There was mold on the shower curtain, refrigerator did not work, and broken ice machine. It smelled awful in the elevator. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Worse 3 days of a motel experience. Will not stay there again.

I remember back late 90's early 2000. The property was owned by suburban lodge . The rooms was very clean laundry room great shape. Intown suites owned very affordable and descent place. Now since motel 6 owns it by reviews ot gone down hill. Now they charge 2 prices for the rooms. Suites 460 a se week with fridge and microwave or without more less same price

The first room I was put in had mold all over the ceiling. I was changed to a different room that was so dirty. The bathtub wouldn't drain and had dirt in it. There were holes in the walls and the doors. The walls had blood smeared on them. The floors were so dirty my daughters feet were turned black every time she walked around like she had been playing outside. There are cockroaches, ants, and spiders. The bathroom towel holder was falling apart. The microwave had so much food like it is never cleaned. This place is disgusting don't pay to stay here $70-80 a night theres better places with free breakfast right down the road! I checked out early I couldn't take staying there and they told me if i check out early they'll be charging me extra and upping the rate! The manager is so disrespectful and rude he has no care for his customers at all!!!!!! Nothing but attitude cussing and walking off because he doesn't feel like handling the customers needs! Definitely needs new employees. Waking up with roaches crawling down the wall. Waking up with a ear ache and my eyes feeling matted and bite marks on my leg from some kind of bug. You might as well sleep Outside.

This place needs a renovation..AC so loud it wakes you up when it comes on, and the beds are totally uncomfortable..RUST on everything in the bathroom.. The staff are not given the resources to make your stay acceptable.. There are not even any pictures on the walls.. Repairs that were done, were done by non union people to say the least.. An extended stay location is only $100 a week more and well worth it... Ice machine does not work, TV only had 2 channels ( Barney or a Con man Preacher).. I would look somewhere else until they fix the place..

These workers are payed for nothing every worker here is rude besides the one nice lady at front the male has an attitude about everything even the little stuff maintenance has a problem working on things complaint about how he works all day I work all day to I’m 18 moved from al to Florida for Tulsa and this is the only place I could find to stay at with my gf I work as a construction welder and go to welding school after I have no time to go ask for maintenance if they write it down in the front office you still have to go get maintenance in the morning to remind them the only nice worker there is the lady everyone else gets paid for jack squat why apply for a job at a hotel if you can’t treat your guest right

Don’t stay here if you have kids. I was told my 3 kids being there are giving the hotel a BAD REP. They expect me to keep my 3 TODDLERS in ONE room all day long or take them off the property but they couldn’t be seen on the property, couldn’t play, no drawing with chalk no going outside. On top on them having us in a room infested with spiders and black mold.

I must have got the room from Hell. Do not take a room in the front all I wanted was a good night sleep this is not the place. People partying and hanging out . Rooms are poorly cheap . I walked to the middle of the building it was quite. I ask for another room said they didn't have any. Don't waste your money here!!! It's not safe.

I ended up having to leave because my animal who is trained was accused of using the bathroom on the elevator i was locked out of my room forced to pay 100$ to get back in for something My dog genuinely did not do manger Sean has tried to kick me out twice even tho I cause no issues stay to myself. Manger will also yell at you and is impossible to have a conversation with. I was locked out of my room for 4 hours and they actually made me break my way in with a screw driver didn’t even offer to help. I was also told the manager would come to motel to kick me out because that’s buisness but would not come to fix my door that he locked because that doesn’t concern them.

The staff was friendly and helpful. I understand hotels are under staffed at this time but they did everything they could to accommodate me and others. The room rates are affordable, it's a quiet and clean environment with all the basic amenities you could need. Have been in town for a job a couple weeks and feel like I made the best choice compared to other options.

Okay so first off, Sean customer service was AMAZING omg I love him. I had a rough day, and as soon as I walked in, he made it better he didn’t even have to say a word! His presence is phenomenal! The security? PROFESSIONAL! My room? 219?! BEAUTIFUL! I’m moving in lol 🔥🖤

I booked two rooms online. We got there and the woman at the front desk was immediately and inexplicably rude. After going through the check in process she told me everything was set and gave me the room total and said to swipe my card. The price was much lower than I was quoted when I booked online, so I asked if that was for both rooms. She then glared at me and told me that actually no rooms were available and to go. It was very weird and confusing how it went from swipe your card to complete check in to actually you're SOL, goodbye. Thankfully another employee on site came out after me and told me where two other locations were.

The front desk staff are always friendly and helpful. They are under new management and the new manager is great! He is very nice and good at his job. The property is clean and very quiet at night, no issues.
