What did Tiffany Haddish say..? 😂 “ Oooh, this is nice! It don't smell like roaches in here or nothing. “ The staff & manager were nice. Never really been to a place that made you feel comfortable. I recommend anyone to stop and stay here. (( Keep it up! )) Definitely coming back to this spot if I’m out here again!

The only reason I gave them the slower the rating was because it’s just a really old property. The staff was extremely friendly and all or some of the most friendly people I have met at a Marriott property. So if I were just reading the staff, it would be five stars but the property itself is a much needed repair and updates. The one thing it does have going for it is that the beds and linens or clean which is obviously a must. The bathroom light which I opted not to grab a picture of was completely rusted over and the bathroom tiles and what not were coming apart. Again, just needs a massive update and then this will be a great property.

The whole thing is just "meh". Not terrible, but it's no effort put forth to make it seem memorable. I guess not a big deal for local residents, but when you come from out of town, the hotel experience is part of the trip.

My experience at TownePlace Suites was not great. The sleeper sofa was disgusting and smelled like posterior. Also, we heard barking dogs throughout the night. I'm giving this place 1 star because the breakfast was desent. But overall, the sofa bed needs to be replaced, and dogs need to be muted

Reasons to stay here: pet friendly, decent breakfast, location Reasons not to: tv doesn't synch with sound. Ok, but when you ask for help and they say, will have someone come to look, but no one ever does..rooms really need to be cleaner. Things are "sticky" even considering the humidity

Room: The room was laid out incredibly weirdly so that neither the bed nor the couch had a proper straight on view of the TV. The room was also dirty when we checked in with visible sticky residue on the desk and food gunk on the stove. The room also smelled like fish the entire stay (more than a week); a smell that seemed to linger more heavily in the cabinets. Hotel: The staff were a mix of friendly and non-existent. We requested extra towels and another blanket in the app, and even though it was marked complete, we never got the requested items. Also, when trying to do laundry, there was no one at the front desk to sell soap, even though I could hear them on their phone around the corner. I waited over 5 minutes, and no one showed up. That being said, the staff were very friendly when I ran into them. General: The fitness center was under construction the entire stay. When they say under construction, it just means the electronic equipment is MIA, so no treadmill or elliptical. There was, however, dumbells, a bench, and a yoga mat all in total disrepair. The yoga mat was flaking apart when you touched it, and the bench was literally missing the screws that would hold it together, so it slid around a bunch. When that's all you have access to, it really should be a little bit better off - a yoga mat is literally $20. Aside from the fitness center, the second floor elevator button was just missing for a day? Also, the water for the whole building was cut off without prior warning or notice for an entire afternoon; I understand that emergencies happen, but at least let us know by leaving a voicemail on the phone or something.

Honestly I don't really understand where the bad reviews are coming from but I'm just 1 person but to be honest when I first got here. I thought it was a bit sketchy looking. But upon check in and arriving in my room it seems to be ok small nice little kitchen which is not what you get in most hotels you get a tiny microwave in most. Reasonable sized space... everything worked, My opinion so far..I think it's a really nice hotel and It was a pleasure being here. Thanks staff and housekeeping.

Other than the signage on the building, this isn’t quite a Towneplace just yet…it’s an old Courtyard or other Marriott property that’a about to get a full renovation according to the staff. The $85 pet fee for a property this old and wore out is laughable. If I wasn’t exhausted I would have walked out bc there are prob 6-7 other hotels in this office park. Staff was nice and the bed was comfortable. I’ll stay here again when the renovation is complete

Room is okay, tv placed in awkward position. Floors are dirty. Some of the staff are extremely unprofessional holding private conversations, on the phone at the front desk, while also using provocative language. Staff making too much loud noise by our room before 8 in the morning and I have a one year old. I just can’t believe the lack of consideration for the people who are PAYING to stay here.

My first time in a TownePlace. This is my new high water mark for great hotel rooms! Very nice, clean and nice carts!

Overall, good overnight room, but probably not for a long stay. The beds were high for younger children, and the cleaning products they used were strong, but overall great for an overnight with a dog.

The Staff was very friendly, the food they put put for breakfast was better than most, not the warmed up frozen sausage patties but offer an variety of breakfast options.

Pool closed by Health dept. Room smells musty. Cigarette burns in curtains, stains on carpet, terrible water pressure, paint chipped, decor from 70s/80s, couch uncomfortable, rooms cramped, but the staff is super friendly.

Stayed here for two weeks and really enjoyed my stay. Room was great with the kitchen and clean when we arrived. A lot of places to eat in the area. Staff here really put our stay over the top. Becky and Zack made our day every time we returned from work. They were always positive and made our stay much more enjoyable. We will stay here anytime we are back in town.

Don't arrive during the night shift after midnight when a young black lady named Keturiah Baker is working the front desk. She had an attitude and refused to let us access our rooms, even after checking us in and giving us our room key. It seemed to me that it was a power play and probably racially motivated based on her comment about how she felt that we were treating her like a "servant". She complained that she was treated disrespectfully, but that is false. People who don't want to serve others shouldn't work in customer service positions like front desk clerks at a hotel. At first, before she checked us into the room, she asked us to pay for the room again, even though it was a prepaid Hotwire reservation, but she claimed that her computer system wasn't showing it as prepaid, so we had to call Hotwire to get them to prove to her that the room was prepaid. She claimed that some Hotwire reservations are not prepaid, but I have never heard of that being the case, and she admitted that she had a Hotwire credit card on file on the reservation. I have never had a problem like this with a Hotwire reservation before, but this hotel is best avoided if you have to check in after midnight, especially if you are white. She ended up putting our family out on the street around 1 am, even after she verified that our reservation was prepaid and she had checked us in, and it was very hard finding another place to stay in the area as most rooms were already booked. Hotwire wasn't able to be very much help either. Apparently this hotel is having trouble finding good help to work the night shift.

We had read bad reviews for this hotel and almost cancelled our reservation. We were pleasantly surprised. The staff was quite friendly and our stay was comfortable. We would stay there again.

If I could have left no stars, I would have. It all started with my reservation. I booked a room on points, and then was allowed to check in online. Mobile key that I requested never came so I decided to call the hotel and spoke with Deb. She advised me she could not check me in without a credit card. I asked why she couldn’t just use the card I booked with and she stated she only had the last 4 digits so needed an additional card for incidentals. So I gave her a card, and it was authorized for 20 which is fine for incidentals, but then the card she claimed she could not use was also authorized for another 40. What the heck, and mind you, this stay was free as I used points from my membership. So I get to the hotel and of course Deb is not there, nor is any manager. Zack was at the desk and he apologized, and was very nice, the only bright spot to this stay. He assured me the GM would be in at 7 am and would speak to me upon check out. Guess what…no Gm when I checked out, but Deb acted like she had no idea what was going on when I told her of the two separate authorizations. She advised me that I would be hearing from the GM and guess what… I never heard from anybody. I am so disgusted with the unprofessional way that I was treated and then made to feel like it was my fault that this all happened. At the very least Deb needs to be trained how to do her job properly, so that she is aware of what cards get authorized at what time. I travel with my company quite often and I will be letting them know how poorly this stay was so that we may perhaps find a new chain that appreciates us. My only thanks is to Zack who at least offered an apology and was very nice to us. All else was an epic fail.

Worst property that I have stayed at under the Marriott umbrella. Room smelled musty and the room is definitely in need of an renovation. The furniture looks like it is from the 70s and need some updating. The only reason that I did give it one start is the staff was friendly and helpful.

After our AC stopped working we looked into a hotel for the weekend as it’s the dead of summer and I’m 9 months pregnant. We called ahead and mentioned our landlord not responding and asked if they accepted pets. They assured us they had rooms and could take our small dog… Upon arrival I was met with the most foul attitude I’ve ever experience. I’m not one to pull the “status card” but traveling for work, I stay at Marriotts often and have never been treated so poorly. Even after explaining our situation and calling ahead, we were told they “wouldn’t rent to us” because we have a local address on our ID. Mike made sure to let me know this policy is upheld by his manager, Kari as he hastily tossed her business card at me following up with “and if you have a problem with this, you can contact her,” as I will be.

Lovely hotel in a nice, safe area. The staff have been nothing but friendly, kind, helpful, and understanding. I'm travelling under somewhat unique circumstances, having evacuated from Hurricane Ian, and the staff have been so empathetic and sweet. My dogs have very much enjoyed the pet-friendly rooms and the sidewalks around the area they can walk at (not to mention all the squirrels to chase!). If I ever pass through the Jax area again, this will be a must- stay stop for me. Thank you!!!

Booked a room with a king-sized bed and got a full-sized bed. Staff insisted the bed was a king. No way! My 10-year-old son, who’s small for his age, took up half the bed. He has more room in my queen-sized bed at home! By the time we arrived they were sold out, so no chance of getting the size of bed we actually paid for. Very disappointed in the false advertising. The room also smelled really badly of body odor.

Nice size room - 1 bedroom mini suite - for a good price. Bed is on the small size for a queen. Hot water takes a long time to come out but eventually does. Building is older, a little tired, but seems to be well kept. Restaurants within walking distance

The overall experience was nice. the Staff was probably the best part because they are so sweet and helpful and kind, but my room on the other hand... it looked like the door had been broken open before and there were just little things all around that were kind of ruined. but other than the room itself the service and experience was very nice

This was my second stay at this location, for a work-related trip. I'm not a picky person, by any means. On both trips here, many months apart, and in 2 different rooms; mold in the shower, notably located under the corner mounted shampoo/soap trays, mold at the bottom corner of the tub, and mold on the ceilings in the bathroom, as well as black mold on the shower curtain. The bed was made, and I didn't see any other major issue than that - which to me is not a great optic. This was the same on both trips. The front desk staff was pleasant, however. The facility itself is definitely in need of a major renovation.

Excellent hotel ! Wish I could give them more than 5 stars. Stayed here almost a month straight and no complaints at all. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Great breakfast every morning. Room was cleaned every time upon request. Definitely will recommend to others 100%.

The staff are amazing people especially the day shift. The breakfast was fresh. I loved the laundry option on the property. This hotel needs a major overhaul. It is extremely dated and needs some maintenance. Flooring needs to be replaced…drapery…the bathrooms…lighting and fixtures. I wish I could upload the pictures I took.
