I had a corporate reservation and was denied a room. The morning shift said there was an error on my reservation. I fixed the error. The size room I wanted was not available. Afternoon shift said the reservation was no good since I wasn't staying for at least 7 days. This is an extended stay hotel. Both shifts were rude and unprofessional. I'm happy I didn't stay.

Not all Marriott hotels are created equal, so beware single female travelers. I went for business and the hotel is very isolated and has about 4 different buildings with many entrances. The rooms weren’t great, and my windows didn’t lock. I’m used to traveling alone but I was fairly weary and spooked after checking in.

I recently just made a stay here for Valentine’s Day. I booked a last minute suite in the hopes of surprising my wife and I must say I am less than satisfied. My wife was absolutely terrified to step foot into the living quarters of the room because of the number of roaches crawling on the walls as well as the other insects we found crawling on the counters while we attempted to eat our meal. I attempted to have this matter resolved with the front desk but they just told me that they didn’t find any insects but they will spray bug repellent which is absolutely ridiculous. I took videos and photos because I was sure they were basically going to call me a liar and wanted to be sure I had proof. I plan to pursue this matter further and would not recommend a stay for anyone just based on the way they resolve there matters.

Such hotels should not be under the Marriott umbrella. It is not being maintained at all. Rooms are very old and not cleaned well, towels are covered with hair (who knows if they were washed), pillows are firm, small, and uncomfortable. Entire building smells like smoking property, and then smell of mold in the rooms. FO is unprofessional, rushed check in, no engagement. Location is probably the one thing that this hotel is good at.

Absolutely phenomenal time here, we were here for quite a while, and the staff were wonderful. They greeted us by name and we're always a delight to see. The manager helped us with some minor issues that had occured very professionally and with best work attitude I have seen in a long time. All of the staff had wonderfully enthusiastic behaviors that seemed to brighten up your day. Our room was very nice, and the amenities here are well kept. They have a basketball court, a very nice gym, a relaxing hot tub and pool and a grill that you can barbecue at. And on top of that the location is very convenient, coming right off of the highway and not to far from local stores. Highly recommend!

TERRIBLE FROM START TO FINISH! Update 10/13/23 Their response is disingenuous and inaccurate. They did not reach out to me during my stay. All contacts were initiated by me. And my colleague, was also staying at the hotel, also had no hot water. So I know I was not the only one experiencing that. And my guess is they knew about the water by the way they responded. Not with suprise, just a suggestion to "let it run". The fact that they intentionally rent rooms with no hot water is bad enough. Denying everything and lying about it is absolutely unacceptable. Original review- 10/12/23 The room that I was given on Wed 10/4 was clean and had a strong smell of having recently been cleaned. However, it soon became apparent that there was a smell of mildew in the room that just got worse as time went on. I also discovered that there was no hot water in the room, either in the bathroom sink or the kitchen sink. I called the front desk and was told to run it, which I did but it never got even warm. I was also aware that the faucet on the bathroom sink was installed backwards so hot was to the right not the left as it should have been. I also noticed that the panel under the sink that accessed the pipes had been removed at some point and not replaced which indicated that someone had been aware of the issue and had been under the sink working on it. When I returned to the room after my meeting on 10/5, it was very damp, and the smell of mildew was overwhelming. That is when I realized that the AC wasn’t working well and that was why the room had the mildew smell. I called the front desk again and asked to be moved to another room. They offered me a room on the 1st floor next to the parking lot. This room did not smell but there was no hot water either. There was also an issue with the internet. I was originally told that there was an upgraded internet that would provide better speed as I had one bar in my 1st room. However, after having to hot spot using my phone, to sign up for the service, no new wifi appeared in my list. And when I called the company that supports the hotel with tech support, I was told that there was no upgraded wifi. So apparently, I paid for something that did not exist. REALLY?! There was also virtually no TV service. In my second room all but one network channel was either black or so pixelated as to be unviewable. I have pictures and video as evidence. And finally, when I turned off my light to go to sleep, I discovered that the smoke detector in the room was running low on batteries, but since I was in a hearing-impaired room, it didn’t chirp, it flashed really brightly once, then 10 seconds later, then a minute and then 30 seconds later and then it repeated…all night. This stay turned out to be the #1 worst hotel experience of my entire life! No shower! No hot water! I had to microwave water in a bowl to wash my face! No TV! Weak internet! I will be sharing this information with my company travel department to let them know just how bad your hotel is with the goal of having you removed from the list of recommended of hotels for Jacksonville. You knew that the rooms didn’t have hot water and you booked them anyway. You knew that my first room had an issue with the AC which cause the room to become so damp that mildew had began to grow, and you booked it anyway. You knew that there was NO upgraded wifi and yet you sold it to me anyway. I will share this review on every platform I can find. This treatment of your guests is INEXCUSABLE!

The staff were nice. The whole place seemed a little run down and not very clean. We booked on booking.com and we thought we were gonna get a suite with a room but only got a suite with no room.. highly disappointed for the price we paid! Brian was very nice and helpful, he checked us in Friday night. Kitchen was good, bathroom was okay.. no door to cover the shower so water got everywhere which is annoying. Pull out bed was uncomfortable. The area is good though.

Pretty clean room. Long hair on the towels but they were washed. The most ridiculous shower 1/2 door thing with no curtain. I froze while showering and needed to pile up 3 towels because the water was literally flowing onto the floor. TVs in the bedrooms were mounted to the wall unit thing so no connecting HDMI. I figured out how to lift it off and get a cable plugged in, but it took 2 of us. The living room TV was accessible. The hot tub was working great! The staff was awesome too.

After driving across state and attending an event I showed up to the hotel to check in with my guests. The receptionist mentioned my room included a pull out bed during check in. I informed her my reservation was two king beds, she requested I show her, and I did. I thought she was updating it on computer then tells me she will not give me a room with 2 king beds bc that is not what her system shows. Very aggravated as I showed her my reservation should be two kings and she refused to honor it while being extremely rude then walking away from me mid conversation. I asked if there were rooms with 2 king beds available to which she responded “I’m not giving you that room, I’m giving you what the system shows and that’s all I have to do for my job”. When I asked if there was anything I could do to avoid sleeping on a pullout couch tonight, she advised me to contact the manager using the number on their business card. That number was the hotel number and when I informed her of this, she said “I don’t know what to tell you.” I can not believe the attitude, games, and disrespect I received from this receptionist and will be staying elsewhere while in Jacksonville going forward.

There are a few things hotels of any class or level need to be sure their guests are happy and want to return, to any of their establishments across the globe: clean, safe, accommodating friendly and lastly, be sure the alarms are turned off before the next guest checks into the room. Why is this such an issue, it, inevitably, ruins every stay when an alarm goes off in the pre-dawn hours or it is not expected. Step up your game Marriott an train your staff to check the alarms, everywhere, everyday...........been going on for decades and this simple action will make for a more pleasant and welcoming stay.

Room was clean and the bed was comfy. The breakfast was good. The maintenance guy was super helpful getting my TV fixed and he even recommended things to do around the area. Very knowledgeable about the area. Front desk staff was polite and there was plenty of parking available. I'd come back.

Well located, clean, friendly staff. Grills need to be rebuilt. Enjoyed watching the squirrels in the court yard. Breakfast in the morning that is really nice. Not much water pressure in the shower. With kind regards, Room 143

The beds were beautiful but the dishwasher and one of the phones were not working and when I payed, I was told it was going to be $244 a night then when it was time to pay for a second night it was $250 then today it was all of a sudden $303...like this don't make no sense this hotel was not even worth it the pool had a rattlesnake in it and the customer service is the absolute worst... I was told I could pay late because I work overnight and then the so called manager came to my room and said I need to pay or leave... This is by far the worst hotel I ever stayed never again and I do not recommend

Staff very accommodating. The zoom smelled a little like gas from the fireplace but I was the only one who smelled it. Breakfast was good... 12P check out time is amazing too!

We have stayed here a couple different times but really enjoy it here. Sarah, the general manager, really understands exceptional customer service. She and her staff go above and beyond to make your stay here memorable. I highly recommend

By far the best place to stay in Jacksonville.. The staff do a remarkable job. Always friendly and helpful. Rooms are immaculate and always clean.. It's the perfect home away from home.

Jennifer at the front desk was so pleasant to speak with, and helped us with a handful of booking issues we had. She quickly had us checked into a clean room with a pack and play we had requested. The shower was hot with plenty of pressure and we slept great. The coffee and breakfast selection was decent. Great job to the staff!

Cool layout with multiple small buildings surrounding a pool and courtyard. The front desk staff Jennifer and Zack were warm, friendly and professional. Alma did a great job with breakfast and Jose gave me extra towels. This place is added to my favorites now.

Love this place. Clean, quiet, and friendly. Everything was great. The staff was very helpful and considerate, both front desk workers were great. Thank you. Blake was a super star ⭐ he deserves a raise.

The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable. Don’t really care for the breakfast. You will get better customer service from the housekeeping staff then you would expect from the front office. Besides from Jennifer and the manager can’t remember her name it starts with an S, I want to say Sarah. They are the only two caring and professional ones, also one older nice white gentleman as well don’t know his name however the rest are very very rude. You better not need anything in the middle of the night the dude will show you little to no respect and be very upset because you woke him from his nap. You will definitely get better service from a a motel 6 then this place. The front office staff is am embarrassment to the Marriott name. Other then that everything was fine…

Checked in my hotel room turned the AC on and two hours later was not cooling off properly. Called front desk spoke with a young man named Blake and all I can say is he gives incredible customer service. Even when checking in he was great. He apologize for the AC not working. Offered me something from their store for the inconvenience and even brought me my new keys to another room. I wish all hotels had Blake’s working there. He is a gem and should be given a promotion. I’m a real guest Charles Smallins from Atlanta here for work so this is a REAL review. Hats off to Blake!!!!!!!!

It was a great stay. I checked in on 6/11 in the afternoon and Whoever the woman working the desk was was phenomenal. She was an older African American woman, made me feel very welcome. The stay was one of the best I’ve had on a trip in a while. Highly recommend.

If you're traveling with your family you will not be disappointed! The hotel decor is modern and well kept. The front desk staff is friendly and accommodating, maintenance and housekeeping are visible, but not over bearing. The pool area was nice but other guests left trash, the grill area is nice and it was easy to navigate the hotel and grounds. The gym and business spaces were nice. The breakfast was ok the lady who preferred it made it great " clinicia" great job! The 3bdrm was perfect!

We were very happy with this hotel. It's clean! Everything was in order and the way you'd expect. .. this hotel is made up of different buildings, there's the main office then a few other buildings where the rooms are. They are all clustered together and there's a great outdoor space, basketball hoop, Pavillion with grill, pool and open space for the kids. I was impressed with it, and a bit confused when we first walked in. The Nighttime guy was amazing, outgoing, energetic, friendly, treated everyone like a friend. Morning staff was , short and not nearly as outgoing and nice

I stayed here for two weeks, and it was great. Now, if you are on the side closer to the interstate (it's right behind it), it could be loud to some people, but I was able to sleep anyway.

Needed a few days away from home due to very bad neighbor behavior! This hotel was 4 miles away & was pet friendly. Reserved room on Thursday for 3 nights (Friday - Monday) Check in was perfect. Room was spacious & clean except housekeeping forgot to clean out fridge from prior guest. Front desk responded immediately to our call (thank you!) & had no other issues. I will say I didn't understand the shower since it did not have a shower curtain & glass door only covered half of the shower, since it was permanent in place & did not slide. Water from shower ran onto the floor soaking the bath towel that was laid down which could be a slip & fall hazard. While I know people hate smokers, they do exist. Maybe a few more outside "ashtrays" would be beneficial to avoid a lot of butts on the ground. Just saying. Overall, good stay. Thank you.

I liked this hotel a lot. I called to see if they would let me check in earlier because I had a conference call and they did. The lady at the front desk is very nice. Rooms are clean and quiet. Breakfast is not super extensive but great savory options. The lady in charge of breakfast was also nice. Location is great. I will consider it for future trips to the area.
