4/5 Ramono & Bianca H. 2 years ago on Google
Hubby
and
I
enjoyed
most
of
our
stay.
There
two
major
issues
that
we
noticed.
1)
At
10
pm,
on
the
very
last
day...
Our
smoke
detector
went
off
because
my
husband
took
a
long
hot
shower.
We
both
have
taken
hot
showers
all
five
nights
of
our
stay
and
never
had
any
issue
until
then.
It
was
a
major
inconvenience
for
over
an
hour.
Gene
from
maintenance
was
on
top
of
things
and
was
understanding.
Berry
the
night
manager
could
have
handled
the
matter
better
with
empathy
and
kindness
instead
of
standoffish
professionalism.
I
was
informed
his
hands
were
tied
and
to
speak
to
Management
the
next
morning.
We
were
given
a
$10
breakfast
credit
only
after
we
asked
if
the
alarm
would
go
off
again.
We
were
offered
a
different
room
at
this
point
but
at
now
11
pm...
There
was
no
way.
The
next
morning,
management
was
already
made
aware
of
the
situation
and
they
offered
to
comp
us
$50
from
our
final
bill.
That
was
enough
for
me
to
not
to
write
to
corporate
but
seriously
they
need
to
fix
that
issue
about
the
detectors
since
this
is
a
recurring
issue
with
this
hotel
per
staff.
2)
Potential
black
mold
on
the
ceiling
towards
the
window
where
diners
are
eating
at
the
Bistro.
We
informed
Berry
and
he
informed
Gene.
That's
all
I
know
happened.
There
were
a
few
pros:
-
There
is
a
Walmart
behind
the
hotel
that
is
within
walking
distance.
-
The
rooms
and
bathrooms
are
exactly
as
pictured.
-
The
hot
tub
was
awesome.
-
We
heard
no
one
next
to
us
and
the
doors
didn't
slam.
-
All
hotel
staff
that
I
encountered
was
at
least
kind
or
professional.
Richard,
the
Bistro
Team,
Gene
from
Maintenance,
and
Housekeepers
were
very
accommodating
and
get
my
praises.
-
The
TVs
in
the
room,
automatically
takes
you
to
the
wander
channel
to
find
local
activities
and
restaurants.
A
random
note
about
the
room
packages:
We
got
the
wine
and
dine
package
that
included
2
entrees
and
2
glasses
of
wine.
I
don't
think
the
package
was
really
worth
it
with
the
average
meal
cost
$10-12
&
$5
beer/special
drink
or
$15
glass
of
wine,
the
math
doesn't
equal
out
to
worth
it
for
us
but
profit
to
the
hotel.
I
think
it
added
an
extra
$40-$60
per
night
to
our
bill
based
on
the
rates
when
we
booked.
We
loved
the
idea
to
not
have
to
worry
about
leaving
the
hotel
for
food
or
coming
in
from
a
long
day
and
having
food
there.
But
after
a
few
days,
you
might
want
something
new
and
actual
variety
instead
of
tavern/bar
like
food
for
dinner.
We
chose
to
eat
at
the
tables
each
night
with
the
booths
own
TVs
and
still
a
small
cafe
feel.
As
far
the
food,
the
bistro
had
pretty
decent
food.
I
was
homesick
one
day
and
got
the
chicken
noodle
soup
with
grilled
cheese.
With
some
modifications,
it
was
tolerable.
They
also
offer
brocolli
and
cheddar
but
those
two
soups
aren't
advertised
like
the
tomato
soup.
Highly
recommended:
The
loaded
tator
tots
added
chicken,
the
flatbread
with
pepperoni
and
bacon,
and
the
b.r.t.
The
hot
wings
were
decent,
very
inflated
pricing.
8
smaller
portioned
wings
cost
$14.
We
kept
asking
what
was
the
cash
value
of
our
wine
and
dine
package.
We
kept
getting
the
response
"one
entree
per
adult"
but
when
hubby
and
I
were
okay
with
spending
more
money
for
additional
entree
and
wine,
I
was
finally
given
a
limit
of
$50
per
night.
This
was
upsetting
because
I
ordered
food/drinks
later
on
as
the
night
went
on
but
had
to
pay
out
of
pocket.
Why
wasn't
it
comped
with
the
package?
That's
why
I
say
it
was
worth
it
for
us.
I
would
highly
recommend
the
regular
room
with
no
additional
package
such
as
the
breakfast
or
dinner
package.
Just
get
the
room
and
get
your
food
while
out
and
occasionally
grab
food
from
the
Bistro
when
you
don't
want
to
leave
the
hotel.
Last
note,
dont
take
long
hot
showers
or
your
vacation
will
be
interrupted.
