Would give a 0 if I could. Got to front desk to check in, front desk women told us to wait while she checked to see if she had a clean room. Let me tell you, the room was anything but clean. Beds are very small. Person at front desk was unprofessional. Upon opening room, greeted with immediate, strong stench of unpleasant Indian odor such as curry. Blood found on curtain in room. Toenail found under bed. Condom wrapper found under bed. Cockroach found in bathroom. Spider found in kitchen. Bed bugs in room, laid in the bed for a few minutes. Have bug bites all over. Dirty sheets. Asked front desk lady for extra pillows before attempting to sleep, she said they do not have any. Informed front desk lady of everything listed above, and she still would not grant a refund, even tho I was leaving. Had to find another hotel to stay at at 1130 pm. Could not stay in this room any longer. DO NOT EVER STAY HERE, SLEEP IN YOUR CAR IF YOU HAVE TO!

Worst wifi ever. Customer service desk no help at all. Checking in was not a good experience. Berated by cashier about a $100 deposit that said very clearly online that it was waived but it took her an hour to stop being tired and new and her feet were hurting to just read the confirmation email. And then the wifi sucked!!! šŸ‘ŽšŸ¾šŸ‘ŽšŸ¾šŸ‘ŽšŸ¾I didn't even feel like complaining about the shower after that shower lol but it was broken šŸ™ƒ šŸ˜… šŸ˜• Someone also left a clipboard but I just put it on the fridge šŸ¤·šŸæā€ā™‚ļøšŸ¤¦šŸ¾ā€ā™‚ļø Overall not the best hotel or experience and very close to the worst šŸ˜…šŸ¤£šŸ˜‚

I'll start by saying that there are many things happening in the residential housing market šŸ˜ļø Because of this locations like Extended Stay America are and will, become increasingly popular. For example, this location according to Kay "frequently sells out." This may be quality for capital and strategy but it isn't necessarily good for the consumer. This is my rationale for three stars. Think long lines at check in like 9-15 people, of course it takes a long time and staff isn't added. The rooms are quality but they've been used, for example missing fixture(s) on the water faucet which isn't that big of a deal. But what is a bid deal is that the water itself never went beyond lukewarm or tepid, it wasn't cold but it most definitely wasn't hot either. Of course I could have complained and I'm confident there would have been an explanation and a line on top of this. So where does all of this lead? This is a popular location and it will be increasingly so going forward. This being said, I'd still recommend staying here but understand it is a heavily used facility and adjust your expectations accordingly. šŸŒ†

The hotel we booked, Extended Stay America, was probably one of the worst hotels we have ever booked through your site. When we arrived, not even a ā€œHelloā€, but weā€™re sold out and your reservation was cancelled. Then when she looked me up, they found my reservation. The hotel smelled like a public urinal, so did the room, but even stronger and worse. The room also smelled like mold and wet towels. The kitchen was broken, with no working refrigerator. No utensils. Nothing! The bed was damp and uncomfortable. The bathroom! Donā€™t even get me started. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting. The shower curtain rod fell off the wall completely. The bathroom tub was peeling and dirty. Honestly, if thatā€™s the quality hotels you list, then I would rather boom elsewhere. I want a refund!

I arrived at the hotel at 9:40 PM, already tired and just wanted to check in as soon as possible. Then the front desk told me I didn't have a reservation. I said I had an appointment and gave her my ID, but she didn't look and kept me waiting for about 15 minutes while another staff member checked my ID. Check me in! Check me in in another 30 minutes! I tried to sit down while I was waiting, but the sofa in the lobby was so dirty it looked like someone had thrown up food on it! When passing through other rooms, the hallway can smell very strong marijuana, and when entering the room, the floor is covered with dust, no shampoo, no hairdryer, and the lights are broken! After I went to bed, the front desk called me at 8am and asked if I lived here! 8:00 AM? ? Why not after 10 a.m.? Call me while I'm still asleep? In short, this physical examination makes me feel very unpleasant, will not recommend, will not come back!

If you see ANY good reviews on this place, ITS A LIE! This place is absolutely disgusting. First of all, itā€™s my fault for not doing more research about the hotels in Jacksonville because if I did I would have never in my life spent money at this place. Jaria was the sweetest employee. She was so nice and she was just a joy to talk to and do business with. But everything after her was DISASTROUS. Kay has the worst attitude and Tatiana the house keeper argued with my brother for no reason. Horrible staff. The room was trash, it smells horrible on every floor. Itā€™s just falling apart in there. Management is clearly not on duty when needed. Just DONT STAY HERE! Save your money and go to one of their competitors.

I checked in late but the lady who checked me in was So wonderful. Ms Kay made everything easy and smooth. I got a queen size bedroom suite which was perfect. The bed was just firm enough for me. And it was clean. When I checked out and Ms Kay was still up front she put a smile on my face. Thank you for everything.

Great stay for the price. Kay, Clarissa, Ozani, and Ebony were all very pleasant and helpful if there were any issues. To give a fair review, the rooms do need to be cleaned a little more thoroughly before moving in (behind furniture, under the bed, shower head/tub, etc.), the appliances could all use an upgrade (fridge did not stay very cold specifically), and there was a cockroach (or two) in the room (exterminator came and sprayedā€¦ did not see any more after that). I also knew this wasnā€™t the Four Seasonsā€¦ so everything considered (great location, helpful staff), I would stay here again, of course, for the right price.

Full disclosureā€” the only reason we accepted this room and hotel was because all nearby hotels were full and we had two children with us, so sleeping in the car was not feasible. Pull out couch broken. Hotel was full but we counted 12 exterior rooms with open curtains turned over and empty, they wouldnā€™t move us and told us the room we were given was the ONLY available room. They were still empty the next morning and we only had a one night stay. Room REEKED of pee, we had to buy our own cleaned and smell good supplies. Pubes in shower. Bathroom was dirty. Fridge didnā€™t work. Freezer didnā€™t work. The only reason we stayed is because no hotel in the area had space for the night. If my husband hadnā€™t have pulled the couch bed out himself we wouldnā€™t have had a couch or a 2nd bed for the kids. The continental breakfast that was promised was muffins and granolaā€” the only two reasons we CHOSE this place originally was for breakfast and the pool, so that was VERY disappointing and we didnā€™t even eat any. The pool was PACKED with a long term stay family throwing a party, we couldnā€™t even use the pool. So there again, both reasons we PAID MORE and CHOSE this hotel, we didnā€™t even get to utilize. There were mattresses and bed frames lining the hallā€” major hazard for people and children! Worst stay ever. We contacted customer service for demanding refund, never got called back, were given a run around every time we called inquiring about the statusā€” finally denied a refund because we accepted to stay in this nasty hole of a hotel. The management team handling our case was nothing but rude and accusing us of lying, despite numerous pictures as proof! This was absolutely the worst, most disgusting place to stay. Not to mention the corruption in management! The front desk staff did their best to help but their hands were tied. Worst hotel stay of my life. Would not recommend to my worst enemy. DO NOT STAY HERE!

On our way to Miami, Florida we arrived at Extended Stay America after 10 hours of driving to learned that the room we reserved and paid for was not available. The front desk lady was very rude. She did not acknowledge our concern at all. It was a busy weekend because of the Daytona 500 event. There were no hotels available. I called customer service and they hang up on me after they stated I will get my money back within 3 business day. We got to our destination after 8 more hs. without any sleep. I'm typing this review 8 days later while I was on hold so I can get MY MONEY BACK!

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Service is horrible. Checked in to room, waited over an hour for someone to come to the counter to even start the process. Get into the room, no lights in the room. Not one. All the lightbulbs were removed from the lamps and none of the fluorescent lights in the kitchen or bathroom worked. Tv didnā€™t work, didnā€™t even have the ability to plug in the cable because the adapter had been removed from the tv. Tried to call the front desk, phone didnā€™t work. No towels, shower was filthy. Had to go back to front counter and was told too bad by the housekeeper. Talk to the manager in the morning. Asked for a different room, was told to talk to the night manager, who apparently doesnā€™t work here. Place was disgusting, staff was rude and basically nonexistent. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I nor mally give every place the benefit of the doubt that maybe I was unlucky...so I do not usually write bad reviews. But I have to this time. DO NOT BELIEVE ANY of the FAKE reviews on this location being a good place to stay. Broken locks, FILTHY rooms, bad outlets, lights not working and it just smells bad.

This review is for the Extended Stay located at 8801 Perimeter Park Blvd. The worst customer service at a hotel Iā€™ve ever experienced. Leave! Donā€™t walk in!. Got to the hotel at 10:30pm just to wait until nearly midnight for someone to come to the front desk. Once they arrived they gave me an attitude because I realized they charged me for rooms that were previously paid for , not the security deposit. After an hour at the desk I got my room just to see used towels and hair in the sink. Looks like one of the staff was using my room to color her hair and then gave me the room before cleaning it. When I asked for another room it took another hour to get one. This is aweful. FILTHY and DIRTY!

First the deposit is the same amount as the room total. Which is ridiculous since the room itself is disgusting. For a total of $187 for one Tuesday night, I couldā€™ve gone to a much better hotel. Second, the room was disgusting. I arrived after midnight so couldnā€™t complain but I got a room for 3, a queen size and pull out couch. When I tell you this pull out couch was thin, yellow, and stainedšŸ¤¢. They didnā€™t give provide the room with covers for the extra bedding which we paid for as I checked in 3 people. The bathroom smelled like feet. I think this specific room has many health code violations that need to be met. Nothing like what you see on extended days branch promotions. Also the ā€œfreeā€ breakfast is just wrapped muffins and packaged coffee bags. Staff was nice but Iā€™m rating the room.

Letā€™s see where to startā€¦ still have to pay $100 deposit even if you have a valid credit card and Iā€™m still waiting on that several days after I checked out, second vending machine took the money (2.10) off my card but my chips got stuck. I called the company they said they would call me back, no one ever did. Third-no hot breakfast. Forth, I wanted to extend my stay by one night. Kay (front desk) told me Iā€™d have to pay (mind you this is for the same room) a late check out fee of $50.00 for 11:00am to 2:00pm, another $100 deposit (for the same room I already paid a deposit on) and the cost (80.00 that night)for the room! What kinda!? I didnā€™t extend my stay so they lost money when they couldā€™ve jus extended the check out until the next day after confirmation of payment. Iā€™ve done this several times at other hotels. Smh.

This is BY FAR the worst hotel I have ever stayed in! No toilet paper, nothing works including the TV/remote, cabinet doors are missing, not clean at all, smells terrible, and room keys rarely work and need to be reprogrammed all the time. If I could give this place 0 stars I would! I booked for 4 nights, but will be finding a new place and canceling the rest of the days! This place is a certified DUMP! Do not book here!!!

Booked and paid for a few hours in advance. Long day in town and at the beach and more than ready to check in, clean up, and pass out! Alas, seemingly hidden deposit fee! šŸ„“ We don't have it. $100 deposit just to check in to our PREPAID room at 11pm. No pets, just 5 tired bodies. No waiver or exception. We also had to cancel through the third party booking for the refund which takes 3 to 10 business days. So, just under $100, no more hotel room, and can't go anywhere else. Thankfully, we only live 2 hours away, but now we have to drive 2 extra hours at midnight and end our mini vacation a day early. Icing? Stuck by a train on our way. šŸ˜© Thanksssss.

The outside of the building and lobby are nice. It looks modern and clean. But that's where it ends. My room was old and outdated. Several things were broken (electrical outlets, cabinets, safety lock on the door, etc.) The mattress was horrible and you can feel every spring in it. Worst of all, the shower was clogged and when I reported it to the front desk I was told they might be able to get to it. Imagine showering in ankle-high dirty standing water.

Unfortunately one star is the lowest I can go. This place is horrific!!!! So much so we couldnā€™t stay for our own welfare and they moved us THREE TIMES and each room was dirtier than the first. the hotel REFUSED to issue a refund since we ā€œstayedā€ the night even though we notified staff we wouldnā€™t be staying as it would be a health hazard. They even saw us leave and have proof on their cameras. We ended up checking out early and it was a HUGE fiasco. The ā€œteam leaderā€ started off helpful and then started to say she wasnā€™t going to go back and forth meanwhile continued to provide NO ANSWERS. I wouldnā€™t stay here again if my life depended on it. They donā€™t accept federal IDs, so if your military and donā€™t have your license or state identification with you donā€™t bother. Which doesnā€™t make sense seeing as how a FEDERAL ISSUED ID has more credibility than a state ID can be easily manufactured. Addition: they wouldā€™nt even let us in the room that weā€™ve now paid for to make sure we didnā€™t leave anything behind. Itā€™s not even check out yet!

Only 3 electrical plugs work in my hotel room. My keys NEVER work. Customer service is polite and helpful they work with what they have. People are hanging out in the parking lot all evening. The internet sucks. This place is more like a motel. The price isnā€™t worth it unless you are strictly sleeping here only. Not impressed and will most likely never come back to any Extended Stay Americas. I would never bring my kids here due to safety and full inconvenience. Sad waste of time & money.

Staff was rude. Bed was very uncomfortable and did not smell clean. The pull out sofa bed was thin and yellow. Could not get extra towels for my family. Was told I would be charged. Only got minimal dishes to use. Breakfast was only wrapped muffins. There are no ice machines. The shower in my room has mold in the grout and the shower curtain is dirty. The floor had burn marks. The hallways and elevator stunk terribly. I felt dirty staying here. I had to go out and buy towels and washcloths so everyone could shower. I also had to buy plastic cups, plates, bowls, and silverware. What is the point of staying at a hotel with a kitchenette if they wonā€™t provide dishes. Not worth the money to stay here. I was very disappointed. I was treated like I was going to steal a towel or saucepan by a lady who said she was a ā€˜managerā€™. I work in hospitality and I would NEVER treat my guests the way I was treated. There are other better hotels out there to stay at. Stay away from here!

posting my selfie of rejoycing when I first arrived outside of this particular Extended Stay, after being told that I could not check in on the night my flight got in due to flight delays; Everything goes downhill from there. I walk in the lobby, nobody was there, then the Manager Lutz ran out from the back, she chastised me about a sign that was in display which basically says - Staff are helping other guests thats why theres no one at the front desk, duh. I told her I did not touch the sign! She was not happy and then she disappeared didnot bother to check me in. Wow, what arrogance! Later on she tore up a list I wrote asking basically the items Extended Stay normally provides, ie pots, pans. cups, coffee makers, dish soaps, towels, which was none existent in the room, and the SOLE reason I choose to stay at the Extended Stay was totally defeated. I had to go beg for the expected kitchen ware. Very humiliating. Lutz then hid herself for 45 minutes after she told me that she'd go fetch the standard items for me. DRIP DRIP MY LIFE DRIPS AWAY. An hour of precious paid trip is wasted by frigging arrogant hotel manager, its unbelievable. Another lady finally came to my aide and gave me a coffee maker, also pans. I was so grateful I broke down in tears. However, the coffee maker is so tiny, see pic, not going to make enough coffee to wake a Flea, is it me or is it them? Asking a friend At this point, I want my vacation to be happy instead of being annoyed, thus... Tomorrow Im going to buy a KNIFE, BOWLS, DISH SOAP & damn Paper towels and would not let the arrogant manager ruin my precious time here in Jacksonville. Thank you for being a bad host.

This wasn't a pleasant experience. Even from the initial check in, the lobby is presented well but was a subtle smell that put me off and there was no warmth from the service desk when checking in. Not even a " hello, how are you"... She asked I was with a company and I said no. And then she asked where I worked which I didn't understand why. It's not as if I got a discount or anything Room smelled like someone had smoked in it and 10 point checklist for cleaning must have been missed on my room there was hair in the shower the toilet was dirty and the desk chair was stained af. The floor was scratched up, the TV was scratched up. Cabinets had a few dead bugs in them and the outside of them had greasy residue on them. They left only one bottle of shampoo one bar of soap two wash cloths and two hand towels, no towels to dry my body after the shower I had to dry off with hand towels. I was too tired to go to the front desk, actually did go down once but noone was there and I was only staying for one night. The drawer fronts were missing on two of the drawers. The bed was ok and properly made. Doors slamming all night and people walking down the hallways talking loudly could be heard clearly in your room (no fault of the hotel), and the ac worked but it was so loud I just shut it off. Even the fridge had a loud hum to it. Oh and breakfast that was advertised is non existent at 9:30 am I was able to grab a granola bar before they packed the rest of it up. I didn't want to leave this review but I was upset about the breakfast part. I checked out early in hopes of having it. The area surrounding is nice though and finding food in the morning wasn't far away. The granola bar held me off till I got breakfast. I gave a star because the shower was hot. My hotel was bundled on pricelinewith my flight and rental. so I didn't actually select it. It was my first time at an extended stay. Being jacksonville I understand why its this way as i watched customer service interact and deal with two guests before me. Photos back up my claims, rant over. With all that being said I felt very safe and didn't observe any questionable activity going on on the premises.

Geez, DO NOT GO HERE!!! I traveled from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania to Jacksonville probably 3-4 years ago to visit a friend of mine who was doing freight travel and needed a cheap hotel nearest his truck stop. Well, unfortunately this was the hotel he picked. The location is convenient being it is kinda close to the airport and is off a very busy highway full of side businesses; movie theaters, restaurants, gas stations, etc. and this hotel is conveniently tucked away down near a pretty big pond/lake where you will rarely ever see anyone walking around and enjoying the viewing, feeding the ducks, etc. The halls are mostly empty and weary and absolutely STINK of weed and mildew the whole way around the building. The rooms are very outdated and have pretty tight layouts considering the bed takes up a lot of room but is incredibly uncomfortable.. The bathrooms are small and often never cleaned. We switched rooms 3 different times and I was there for a total of 3 1/2 months but it felt like a lifetime! I never wanted to speak up and sound ungrateful but I was there almost 24/7 vs. my buddy working long strenuous hours, so he was just there to sleep and shower. I probably met a total of 2 good people in that place and they were mainly outside and complained and warned me about the place every single day for the first 2 weeks I was there. The breakfast options are trash, little kids run around the halls and will screw up the small laundry room for everyone and even their diapers would explode in the pool shutting it down for days! Staff seemed young and neglectful but always had good attitudes with me and my buddy because we were all around the same age range mainly.. I could go on and on about this place but I just came by to see if anything has changed in 3-4 years and it seems like it is damn near the same. I repeat, DO NOT GO HERE!! 0/10

The hotel I stayed in was Extended Stay America and suites in Deer wood. If I could give this place no stars, I would. The service I received from the general manager Luz (pronounced lose) is the reason I will never stay at this hotel again and she is the main cause of this review. She is undoubtedly disrespectful, unprofessional, conniving, and one of the worst managers I have ever encountered. My stay started off okay. The first issue was the claim to have a grab and go breakfast. Everyday I went downstairs between the hours of 6:30 am -9:30 am, there was no breakfast. They do have loads of coffee for you but don't be hungry because its no breakfast served. My next complaint was the room I paid for was supposed to be a one bedroom suite so that my children can watch television on the living room while I worked in the bedroom. The suite was not a one bedroom suite. The burners on the stove did not work properly and the bathroom sink was broken. The next issue I came across was on my reservation I plainly put 2 adults, 2 children, and 2 dogs. Luz claimed on my reservation I did not disclose my dogs and tried to charge me $250. I called the corporate office and they took care of that issue. The final straw for me was when I went to pay for an additional night Luz stated she did not charge me the correct rate and tried to charge me additional funds. I pulled up my bank statement to show her what she charged me. She proceeded to tell me that her computer shows something different and she tried to put the blame on another staff member when Luz is the one that took my payment not a different staff member. When I called her out on trying to get over on me, she threatened me with charging me another $250. She is the reason my stay was cut short and I decided to go with another hotel. She will singlehandedly be the reason this hotel will fall. If you plan on staying here, good luck and I hope your experience is better than mine. This experience has taught me that saving money is not always the way to go. My review has my maiden name but my name is Tamara Tatem. I forgot to add Jaria is the best employee there and she deserves a raise. Honestly she's the only reason I stayed as long as I did.

Worst hotel stay of my entire life!! And I have traveled quite a lot. Two different incidents of flooding on the same day. I get it that things happen beyond control. But how me and my wife were handled during this situation was unacceptable. We booked and handicap room as my wife is in a wheelchair. When the flooding happened we should have been moved immediately to another room. We were told there are no handicap rooms available. Cleanup was still going on. Left my contact info at front desk as they said the manager would be in contact. Went to dinner and came back to find our room open. All of our belongings were in there!!!! Went to the from desk as no one had called. Was told again no rooms available. No solution was offered at any time. It was late so all the sudden a king suite was available. But it is not a handicap room. Because it was late I accepted this and moved rooms to get some sleep as my wife was very tired. At no point through the next 4 days did anyone reach out to me to rectify. The front desk always said we donā€™t have rooms available. Come to find out later that a bunch of guests had been moved to another hotel. This would have solved the whole situation but was Never offered to us. Instead we had to stay in a hotel that was barely livable. The hallway was a wind tunnel due to all the fans and blowers drying everything out for days. Commercial fans and blowers are very noisy!! We tried to make the best of it. Breakfast was prepackaged muffins if you got down there early. They were not replaced once gone. Coffee was usually low and not remade when we got down there. The lack of communication is what made this situation way worse. No refund or reduced rate was offered either. So we got to pay full price to stay at a flooded hotel and listen to big fans going 24/7 with little to no amenities. I donā€™t think I will ever stay at another extended stay hotel ever again!!

Kinda of scary! Walking to the room, the hallway was filled with dehumidifiers and blowers - seemed as if they had a flooding issue. Hallway carpet edges were removed! Would seem to me that the Hotel staff will advise clients! Next, the room was filthy! Kitchen Drawers were sticky with who knows what (see photo) water in the dishwasher (see photo) - appearance was akin to a fleabag hotel - dark and dank! Toilet seat was loose and unscrewed! It was obvious that no one prepared the room for the customer! Couch was filthy, chairs stained - just not at a level of other hotels! Finally, the advertised ā€œbreakfast includedā€ was nothing more than coffee and granola bars - no fruit, no milk, no eggs - just hot water for instant oatmeal! Very disappointing for the price paid. The only good aspect was a working TV and when we asked for utensils- they were given freely! Stayed only one night - thank goodness!

Dirty motel. Stinks as soon as you walk in the motel lobby. Had a plumbing leak that flooded almost the whole motel. All they did was get fans and dried the carpet. No fresh linens or towels. Gotta beg for toilet paper. They don't have enough dishes. They ran out of hot chocolate and it took them a month to get more. The staff isn't friendly at all. Sleeper sofa was busted for 2 weeks and instead of them replacing the sofa they sent a metal military cot up to the room. Based on my experiences and the experiences of my coworkers I will not be staying in a Stay America ever again.

I had to be moved to 3 different rooms to get one that was tolerable. My first room was filthy. Second room stove top had to be fixed and there was no drawer underneath the stove top, just a opening for one. After being in the room for a while, water started flooding the floor. I asked for another room and was told that there was no other room available. This prompted me to call the suppliers for a refund, and after being put on hold twice I was told that they could reach anyone in the office and asked if I could go to the office and let them talk on my phone, the person at the desk never acknowledged me, but called someone and proceeded to give me a key to the 3rd room without saying a word to acknowledge me. Worst experience ever.

The room was not what it pictured. The pull out sofa be was nasty!!!! Kids slept on the floor on blankets. The rug was dirty grandkids walked around with no socks on and there feet was black!!!! Had to ask for everything!!!! They did not have extra bedding for pull out in the room. Then asked and no pillows, was told over the phone that the dishes and pans were upon request if they had them. When I called to check was informed that there was a 100.00 deposit and they didnā€™t take cash. I would of never booked if I had known. Oh and room keys keep not working and they were not next to my phone , had it reset and went back to room and still didnā€™t work. We will never stay at this one again!!!! KAY is freaking awesome and the main reason why I decided to stay the length I did. She for sure went above and beyond all of her job duties as well as did the job of every other employee there. She was constantly running around helping residents and never did it without a smile on her face. Kay definitely needs a raise asap! She makes this hotel what it is and I'll most definitely staying here again..simply because of KAY!!!! Jake was a huge help too!! He had such a strong work ethic..I swear I never saw him not working the whole time he was on the clock!! He was always there to lend a helping hand!!!

I will never stay at another extended stay again. We arrived at 1203a, only because there was a wreck on I10 with fatalities, we attempted to call the office which nobody answered. When we arrived at the hotel someone was sitting at the desk an presided to tell us they couldn't check us in. but if you look at their policy it says you can check in after 3p there is nothing about they can't check in after a certain time. We had to find another hotel for the night, then they had the audacity to ask will be staying the rest of the night with them, the answer was NO!. The only reason why you got 1 star is because I can't give you 0 stars!!!!

Kay is an amazing front desk attendant. She exhibits the most professionalism and pleasant personality I have experienced ever in all the years of hotel stay 5 star experience.

When in town I usually stay with family but had to change plans last minute. I paid $450 through priceline and I was heading home for the thanksgiving holiday and I get off at 8pm. I packed my bags knowing it would be a late arrival. Itā€™s a long drive so I didnā€™t arrive until exactly 2:06am and Iā€™m completely tired. I tried to check in and was told it was too late and my reservation had been canceled. I called priceline to try to get a refund since I did not stay and I was told theyā€™ve tried multiple times and ESA will not agree to a refund. I called ESA and spoke with a manager and was told the opposite. Itā€™s been 2 weeks and I still do not have a refund.

FALSE ADVERTISING!!! The customer service is horrible. I am a Disabled Vet with a service animal. I drove 7hrs to get to this hotel to find out that they do mot have ā€œpet friendly rooms.ā€ Yet the website uses the ā€œpet friendlyā€ thing as a feature of their property. Truth is, only SOME rooms are pet friendly and there is no way to know if the room you booked is or isnā€™t. This is a horrible way to treat customers. Update: I gave them the benefit of doubt and stayed here again. This tome I was HARASSED about my service animal, which Iā€™ve had with me every stay. Even after offering my Service Animal info, I was asked for my personal medical info as well as asked to come perform how my service animal helps me. I refused, referenced to ADA Federal Laws, then offered my documents, again. Just before checking out, Kay told me I was going to be charged for a pet ā€œsince my service animal wasnā€™t with me at all times.ā€ I was just getting another key to get back in my room to get my service animal, who was eating breakfast while I ran my bags to the car. The told me I canā€™t stay at the hotel againā€¦WHY??? I didnā€™t make noise. My animal didnā€™t do anything!! COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I am a 100% disabled Veteran with a legit Service Animalā€¦ Itā€™s super sad to be treated this way.

I booked my vacation on Priceline, paying for 4 days. I knew I wouldn't meet at the 4pm check in time so I called the hotel to ask if it would be ok if I was a little late. The lady over the phone said that wasn't an issue and asked if I could check in at any time between 12am to 4am. I said that was perfect and she told me she would inform the hotel since she was someone from the company or something and not actually there. I arrived at 12:11 am where the doors were all locked. A woman came to the door and spoke to me through the glass and told me I could not check in, the systems were down at 12 and that my partner and I couldn't come in at all. I could not make a drive back home and would not be paying for a day I didn't even get, so I called to get a refund for the single day and thought a few hours of waiting till morning would be ok. I was offered a full refund instead of the single day since they couldn't 'find' the reservation I put, which is odd since I thought the system was down. I completely wasted my time here and came to a hotel about 10 minutes away who allowed us to check in around 1:00 am and had not been rude whatsoever. They accommodated the late notice and gave us a room for the time I needed. I don't understand what went so wrong here, but there was a communication error somewhere and I will not be returning.

Really nice place to stay. In a good area. No night life lingering around. Clean. And priced well if you are a member. Service lacked a bit of enthusiasm and punctuation. Waited A LONG time for certain things. Better off going to the front desk in person than calling. But over all the peace and quiet make up for it.

The location for the hotel is great, close to everything, quiet and the pool outback sure does look great for warmer weather! However, Iā€™m super disappointed with the rooms and what is typically standard at Stay America Hotels. I can tell you Iā€™ve stayed at many Stay America Hotels throughout the country, some good and some bad but Iā€™ve never seen one not provide at the very least things like dishwashing tablets, (a small) dish soap or paper towels. You actually expect your guest to bring it themselves. No toaster, coffee maker or hairdryer in the room either. For the amount spent on rates plus a $100 deposit I would expect for a hotel to be I would say, more accommodating. But again, itā€™s standard at every other Stay America Iā€™ve been to. I would get it if a guest was staying for a long period time or living there to not provide more than trial size stuff with the expectation itā€™s on them to get and purchase but for the guest staying just a few days seems absurd to not even offer that. The beds are not comfortable and the appliances are outdated. I think our room had the tiniest microwave Iā€™ve ever seen and didnā€™t seem to be very stable. The Florescent bulbs in the bathroom were exposed and apparently was missing itā€™s cover entirely. A long piece of the plastic corner siding/cover was placed into the closet to lean, someone decided to just place it in there and close the curtain to hide it. Cleanliness was another issue. Before I could bathe my child I noticed right off the bat red algae in the tub. An indicator that shows the tub hadnā€™t been properly cleaned or been done in awhile. Iā€™m not one to walk around with white gloves on inspecting but walking into the kitchen area the light above it happened to shine just right for me to notice the kitchen area that the cabinets were dirty too and needed to be wiped down. Work frequently brings us to the area but this will be our first and last stay at this hotel.

Staff was great and really friendly so friendly that second shift walked in my room while I was sleeping. The next morning I was out front and another guest was taking on the phone telling someone that Staff walked in his around 2 am and the guest Almont shot them. Both incidents there was no knocking or announcement of is there anybody in here I'm coming in. They need to be not doing these things despite this being wrong to the guest it could also be hazardous and life-threatening to the staff members they need to be more careful. Other than that the room was acceptable that they finally gave me after the first room smelled like smoke.

This place is amazing and very accommodating. Very centrally located to the mall and many businesses. Ozani, Kay and Julissa are the sweetest and always willing to assist and accommodate any issues. The property is very clean and safe. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone thatā€™s in the area for business or pleasure. Robert

The worst experience. First, there was no one at the reception. Then when someone finally came, a lady called ā€œEbonyā€ told us that we can not accept payments and when I asked what I can do she said there is nothing I can do with an attitude. I have no problem telling me there is an issue with the systemā€¦. But the way that was said was degrading. Honestly never going to a extended stay America againā€¦ much rather pay the premium for better service.

My review is more geared to the hotel staff, more specifically, Kay who works the front desk. When we checked in initially we were not happy at all with the room because it had lots of issues, broken cabinets was just one of the issues. At first I accepted it but then after the second day I decided to complain especially since Iā€™m paying lots of money for my stay here(staying for over a month). I went to the front desk and explained my concerns with the unsatisfactory room and Kay, the same night moved us to a much better quality room. She was very caring for our needs and was truly appreciated by us. A big thanks to Kay for her quick actions and help.

Called them to tell them what time I was going to arrive and was told there 18 other people with reservations and if I got there to late my reservation would be given to someone else. Explaining the definition of reservation to the clerk only made her double down on giving the rooms away. She continually told me they would not hold the room if others arrived then hung up on me. When I arrived I was stunned to find there is a $100 incidental deposit just in case the room is messed up or smoking in the room. I even called customer service and they would not waive the fee. I explained to them that no where on the reservation agreement was there any mention of this fee and they said the third party has "different rules" as to what they tell the customer. Worst part is they say it takes 3-5 days to refund the money. Hidden fees, and giving away rooms that are reserved, are not how an honest business is run. Will not ever stay in one of their hotels again and would recommend no one else does either. 1 star rating is too high for this.

To be honest, I made a phone call only to inquire information for reservations. The young lady Kay was tremendously helpful and kind. She was very patient throughout my inquiries. Kay even went the extra mile to explain the process of booking to assure that all would be done correctly to help avoid any possible errors and headaches. Can't wait to come visit and stay, and possibly even meet Kay in person while at it. Thank you so much Kay. Jesus loves you! Kudos to extended stay for hiring her. God bless.

The location is good. Its mostly quiet. Pretty pond across the street with geese. Its nice. For the most part the staff is okay, for the most part. The room wasn't particularly clean . The floor mostly. This morning there was no hot water again. It's a time of day thing. They fixed a few little things after my arrival. There pet friendly to the tune of 250 down and 30 bucks a night. Theyre hung up on towels ! I went for towel replacement and she threatened me in that tone that if a towel wasn't able to get clean its 25 dollars per towel. I don't like it. Next week I have a permenant home so I guess I'll stick it out here a few moore days. I'm not used to being threatened. Other than that it really isn't that bad. I'd probably stay again.

The desk clerks were friendly and helpful. Check in was a bit slow and confusing but the desk clerks were still good natured. Once I got off the elevator heading to my room it was clear that one of my neighbors smoked heavily. Outside the door of my room the carpet needed vacuuming. Inside the room the floor was sticky and not all of the lights worked. In the bathroom there was a smell of smoke. The desk clerk came up to re-do the floor. Around midnight I awoke to something starting biting me. There were black bugs in the bed and my body was covered with bite marks. I was moved to a different room but my body is covered with bumps and whelps.
