Booked at Red Roof Inn for previous reputation, should have read the reviews. The surrounding area was completely booked or else I would have cancelled my reservation. Although the clerk was very courteous, it didn't make up for the stained sheets, towels and blankets, not to mention the random hairs. Supposed to be a smoke free room as well, but the cigarette smell was definitely pungent. Management continuity and cleaning services clearly did the bare minimum. Choose elsewhere.

Just like the review above, we wanted to leave 5 minutes after we arrived. Sheets stained, mattress pad was so stained, we thought it might be bed bugs. Comforter so nasty we look it off. Small spider under the pillow. The toilet seat is hanging on the by a thread, we have to very carefully sit and don't dare move. I could go on and on, but know the price is reasonable, but it's our last time here.

Comfortable bed and clean room. Could use some updating, but good for overnight sleep. Only hear the highway noise when the door is open. The big plus is that they allow my large dog. I've stayed here 6 times for overnight sleep and never had an issue.

Not fancy but perfect for a spot to get off the road and rest. Location is convenient. Has a Waffle House next door and fast food across street.

Much better than expected! Service was awesome and that made us feel safe staying there. I wasn't too sure about the location before we got there but everything was well lit and super quiet. The rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast was available in the morning and check in and out was super easy! Will definitely stay again if in the area.

The one star is because twice I made the mistake of asking the husband for a trash bag etc and twice that guy got up and looked at me like he's demon possessed and wanted to kill me. It was chilling, actually. He's a very angry person and puts you in flight or fight mode immediately. I've never paid someone 600 dollars for the week to be looked at and treated like scum. To make matters worse their small patch of lawn for the dogs is infested with fleas. I've had to bathe my dog twice. Wouldn't recommend.

0 stars. It was inexpensive. It was a late stop and the bathroom floor was filthy. Room light fixtures, everything was filthy. Do not stay there.

Front desk staff was nice and the lobby cute. Room was disgustingly dirty and poorly maintained.

Room was extremely dirty . Burn marks and stains on mattress , fitted and top sheets . DRIED UP BLOOD on the towels in the bathroom. When i brought up to the older lady working the front she had a attitude stating that she wasn’t going to look at the room and didn’t even want to review the pictures I took . Refuse to stay here again !!! Poor customer service and cleanliness!!!

Room, bedding, bathroom were all clean. There were NO BUGS!. We just stopped for the night and it was nice to not see any bugs or dirty linens. The mattress was a bit old but I was most concerned with a clean room.

Dear Lord. This place seriously needs to be replaced. The best thing about it was the bed was was comfy. We were passing through Jax and wanted to stay close to the interstate so we could get on the road quickly the next morning. Little did we know that we would want to leave about 5 minutes after we checked in. To be fair, we were NOT expecting the Marriott or even Holiday Inn Express. But we DID expect cleanliness. The first thing I noticed was dust on the bedside lamps. But I figured that sometimes dusting gets missed. I went in to take a shower. The towels were grey...but not colored grey. Grey like they don't know what bleach is. Then I started the shower and that's when I saw the HAIR in the little space where you put the soap. Gross. My hair is long. This was a short curly. 🤢 I showered anyway. Then after feeling like had at least gotten the travel and work we had done off of me, I sat on the bed and turned on the TV for a bit while I ate. Needing some salt, I went to the area where there is a coffee maker and, typically, an assortment of condiments. There were some coffee packets and wrapped spoon and fork packets. And an OPENED tea bag that look used. Despite all of these things, we decided to get some sleep and just leave early. When I awakened at 530 the next morning, that's when I noticed the painted over mold on the ceiling. We couldn't leave quickly enough. For $100 we could have stayed farther in and in A LOT nicer place. Clean, at least. This was more of a $45 a night or $10 per hour type place. We at least know where not to stop when we pass through again.

Very clean- could use some touch up caulking but I didn't see any bugs and I slept great, woke up to a nice complimentary breakfast. We had some real trouble checking in but that was through the third party we used to book online. It's definitely and step from some of the other RRI in town😊😊 it's à very well ran hotel and I recommend it

My son and I stayed here on our trip home for the holidays. Very quiet. Nice place. Lots of updated rooms. Traffic can be a lot but there is road construction going on right in front of the hotel. Located next to a large truck stop with multiple fast food choices within walking distance. Ask the desk clerk about other restaurant options in the area if you don't see what you want. Great place!

Good price and good location. Easily accessible and near major routes. Very decent continental breakfast for the size of motel. Also right next to a Waffle Hut. Room was decent size and clean. Bathroom tub was alittle gritty, but once you experience the absolutely wonderful water pressure, you forget about it. I always scrutinize towels that I use for stains and found none. Comfy bed with four pillows. Very friendly day and night staff. My only knock is the noise. You hear every car start up and a lot of highway traffic. The window and curtains to the outside don’t do much. Overall an excellent value for a quick nights rest.

The room was small. The bathroom was very small. I felt it was over-priced for what we got. However, it served its purpose. I was just looking for a place to lay my head, for a few hours, to break up a long drive. The bed was comfortable.

Wow! Red Roof Inn has improved so much. We were on the road, not sure how far we would get, so we didn't reserve a place ahead of time. We saw this Red Roof Inn and pulled in. I was a little unsure, as I had stayed in one years ago that left something to be desired. However, from the front desk on - I am a fan! The clerk at the desk was very friendly and efficient. The room has been refreshed and updated. The floors are LVP, a big upgrade from those questionable carpets. The furniture, including the beds and the upholstered chair, was practically brand new. Microwave oven, mini-fridge, large flat screen tv - all was unexpected and a delight. We will be back the next time through town!

I stayed here 5 nights and got woken up in the 5 o’clock hour every morning by barking dogs. I even left a night early that was already paid for so I wouldn’t have to deal with it. On top of that, the shower temperature only gets lukewarm. I talked to the front desk about both issues. They said they would take steps to help with the barking dogs. Those steps were not taken. A maintenance man told me he made the water temperature higher. Very nice guy. When I took a shower again, the water was hotter for about 30 seconds and then went right back to lukewarm. Someone besides me should suffer consequences for my disrupted sleep all week. So this hotel is getting a bad review. And to all you selfish and inconsiderate dog owners who stay at hotels like these and can’t keep your dogs from barking at 5 in the morning, I hope karma finds you.

Nice stay for the location... Service was good... I can understand other reviews but communication is key...See something just say something.... Breakfast was ok for a person that eats light in the morning considering that there is a waffle house literally next door. Small pool but ok for a quick dip. Remodeling (new floors, TV, beds, paint, and details) was being done and should be completed in a few months as for truckers that want a good night's sleep and some peace and quiet I would suggest this place, which is near two truck stops. Owner was very nice and allowed bobtail parking as long as you are out the way. House keeping was very nice and considerate of guest needs(again just ask).

I must say after reading the reviews I was very skeptical about staying here but needed somewhere to sleep for the night on our long drive.this place was right off the highway. The bad reviews were not a hoax. The man at the front desk was rude. We arrived in our room to it smelling so bad like weed to the point we smelled like weed after leaving. The walls were dirty as well as pillow cases. It looked as if they had begun to remodel but gave up. I wouldn’t shower here and felt so gross even sleeping in this place.

Cheap, convenient, and good customer service. It was good for one night, but wasn't very clean, so I wouldn't stay again.

I needed somewhere quick and convenient. So I decided to stay here. Upon arriving the owner was bit arrogant which didn’t phase me I brushed it off . However I finally checked into the room-the room was filthy, the bed had stains, the smell was horrible & the list goes on I don’t recommend staying here , I was so disgusted i didn’t even want to shower !!!

This is the worst hotel I've stayed at. There was yellow gunk on the walls, cobwebs on the ceiling. The floorboards, walls, doors, furniture was all beat up and dirty. I had a towel with black dirt stains all over it. Somebody's body hair was all over the bathroom and sink. After my shower, just the walk back to the bed got my feet dirty enough that I needed to go wash my feet again and lay towels down to walk back to bed. I always stay in the cheapest hotels, but this is the only one that disgusted me enough to leave a review. I would highly recommend not staying here, or at least not in room 132...

Was leaving Florida and had to stop for the night, the owner was a nice and friendly person if you look at my reviews on here I am picky about all the places I go to and leave a review for so the owner greeting me and being nice after having a bad day made all the difference, he said there was only one room left it was a smoking room I told him that wasn't a problem but he apologized for the inconvenience and gave me a few dollars off for it, he saw I had a uhaul with my vehicle towed by it and there was sign for no semis but said I could still park there and there was plenty of space despite all the other rooms being booked, when my wife and I entered the room it was clean and I have been to many hotels and motels in my travels this by far was cleaner than most the bigger hotels and I've worked as house keeping at a motel before so I knew what to look for I don't smoke cigarettes my nose is pretty good on picking up sents and smells I couldn't tell anyone smoked a cigarette in that room if I was to ever pass through for any reason and had to stop for the night I would definitely go back here and use the rewards program that the owner himself was nice enough to sign me up for and take him up on the offer for the free bottle of water you get for being a rewards member little hint you'll see one bottle of water in a display case go ahead and ask about it

Stopped for the night before continuing my road trip.. Clean room, linens and towels.. The young lady at the check in window was very nice and accommodating. However, the breakfast area was closed. Breakfast was to be served through the check-in window as to-go. I get it but... I'd stay again, though.
