The room is gross, bed bugs, floor is about to clolapse, black mold in bathroom, I asked for 3 days about the WiFi and was told they would put us in another room but when I went back up I told her that and she said she wouldn’t move us only other option was a refund what a joke she was yelling at me before I even got a room. This place should be closed down and she has no business in customer service. I would call them the slum lords of hotels but that would give slumlords a bad name.

First let me say that this place deserves to be shut down. I'm definitely making a call to the health dept...and I wish I could post negative stars. I checked in 207 new years eve...smelled like mold and dirty carpet but was really made my skin crawl was the millions of roaches that were crawling around from the walls, ceilings, and from the door that connected to 208. At the same time me and my husband told them it's to many roaches the guests from 206 came to the office complaining about the same exact reasons. So they gave us and the other guests rooms beside each other in 325 and 326 which had roaches and smelt the same but it was late and it was convenient so I stayed the next day they moved me over to 208 which was the same but I came to do one more day when I left my service animal which was "barking" when I left to do errands. Just to see that they were tossing the room next door because of my initial complaint of the millions of roaches which has a door in-between which is why my dog was barking which he is a Chihuahua. They had the nerve to complain to me. Wasn't nobody even checked in so his barking didn't bother a soul. If anybody complained about my dog but not in infestation is insane but like I said there wasn't any. Don't waste your time here....drive away...and don't look back...garbage hotel and garbage management...and he wore the same clothes for 2 days. Which is why I'm not surprised the hotel is dirty.

Warning DUMP! Knights Inn Jacksonville at Dix Ellis Trail. I work late hrs and I have an hour commute back to the hotel. My first week at knights Inn wasn't bad but the second week my food was stolen out of the refrigerator??? My card stopped working the day after I paid. So I went down to the office and the guy in the office behind the glass went off saying that I was not letting room service come in and clean??? I had no idea what he was talking about ? He told me if I was going to continue to stay there I will let them come in and service my room at 9am I tryed to explain to him I don't get in until after 2 am . He didn't get it. I'll be posting some pictures and what the room already looks like when I first got it. They offered me $393 cash of course for 5 days .I ended up getting the room for 4 days for $200 cash. Don't stay here! Sleep in your car first. PS: The Internet never did work and the washer and dryer and pool we're out of order the whole time. 🤮

Please do not stay at this place too is filthy. My family didn't have a choice that night we had to sleep over in Jacksonville. I wish I could have slept in my car. The rooms stank, the carpet smells like mildew and the floors are damaged. I felt like I was going to fall into a hole. The tub was not clean at all. The beds felt uncomfortable something bit me and my sister. Please run they need to close this hotel down completely.

Great people once you get past the language barrier! Stayed for a week considered staying for longer. And I give them a four after careful consideration. It would have been a five if it wasn't for the bed bugs. I decided to leave because of my unwelcome guest in my room. But overall a very nice comfortable down to earth place to stay in Jacksonville Florida. If they get rid of the critters they'd be a perfect 10 in my book.

There were bed bugs biting us an we changed rooms until the 3rd one was finally bed bug free. When we told the staff he asked us if we had any pictures so we showed him all the bites we had just to get a room change. Instead of sending housekeeping in to tidy up our last room even though we only slept in 1 bed he just pulled the covers back and ushered the new guest in. I will never stay there again and wouldn't recommend it either.

Staff lies, changes what they tell you everyday. Owned by foreigners that do not speak good English. Make up things as they go along. They require you to allow house keeping in everyday, even when you are not home, and if you have a dog they make you put your dog in a crate in the room so they can come in ( again while your not home), but apparently that is only for certain people.. Not comfortable letting someone in my room with all my belongings there, makes you wonder why they demand housekeeping to have access to your room...??? I definitely do not recommend this place. Very sketchy and not very clean, considering they demand housekeeping everyday. refrigerator did not work either.

If I could give zero stars I would! Pool was decent, but after getting into the room and settling in, a HUGE roach crawled across the bed! I immediately asked for my money back! They had to check the room after making us move our bags out. While checking there were 2 roaches on the wall!!! The desk clerk said “it’s Florida, that’s normal” NO!!! They refunded one of 2 nights until I had to get belligerent! No way was I staying in a nasty, filthy, bug infested place even for a night!

Do not stay here. The rooms are dirty, the ac leaks and so do the sinks. The microwave if you use it beware, it emits a terrible smell. The lock on our door stopped working, staff said this did not constitute a room change even though you can easily pop the door open. Waited 2 days for maintenance, when they came claimed they fixed it but the problem persisted. The bathrooms have mold in them and on the shower curtain, and the toilets are unstable. This is a last resort hotel definitely.

The young lady @ the desk was awesome. The room was actually quiet given the proximity to the freeway. But the room was yucky, the door latch lock wouldn't work for security, bathroom had mold, All of the towels were way off white.

The lady at the desk was so very friendly. The check-in took less than 10 minutes (I did have a reservation). The place is a little outdated but for the money it really wasn’t a bad deal. The beds were the most comfortable motel beds I’ve ever slept in. The tv was really big screen and worked great. Plenty of hot water all the time. The only draw backs are that you have to pay with a card that has a chip. Mine didn’t but luckily I had the cash. Next the floor has many areas that actually felt like it was weak and could break thru. And last which I know that nothing can be done but the bathroom was was incredibly too small. But the positives outweigh the negatives. Came down from North Carolina to see the Jaguars. If I ever come back I won’t hesitate to stay here again. I would recommend if on a tight budget.

The service was horrible. The room smelled like cat piss and the AC did not work in the room blood on the wall in the bathroom and the price was 150 for one night. I would not recommend this place

Staff and house keeping are excellent, they keep the rooms clean, the place is quiet at night with no funny stuff going on, it even has a nice pool which most do not.

Been staying here for months. Only issue I've had was a lizard that snuck in while was bringing stuff in or out. Great staff, clean room, and close to work.

Been staying here on and off for over a month now, while I'm transitioning, and couldn't be happier with this place. Super quiet, all one level so no noisy people above or stomping up and down stairs all night! I stayed at the Studio 6 across the street which was more expensive and absolutely infested with roaches! Barely got through the night and came here the next day and haven't seen one bug the entire time I've been here. Super friendly and very patient staff, and an excellent value for a super affordable price!

Great location. Fabulous staff. Extremely friendly & helpful. But I woke up covered in bed bug bites. Thank God my handicapped son didn't get any. It's all me. All 15 bites. Ouch. Itchy. Scarring my arms & legs. No. Just NO

Here a roach there a roach, roach paradise, roaches will literally crawl on you in the bed, they fear nothing,if you love roaches this is the place for you,i was going to take some pics but the roaches did not evade,so I refrained because of the boldness of these critters and began to study the roach activity, you can do a roach thesis because their plenty of participants, roach inn,no knights and far from royal.

It is just right off of I-95... Being that we got to Jax too early to start our job and had a dog with us. They accept pets... Make sure your pet has proper flea preventative just in case. I couldn't even relax to sleep. The room was heavily sprayed with some kind deodorizer, that was trying to mask the strong aroma of weed. The place is need of an overhaul. Or should just tear it down and rebuild. It's very dated with a lot of issues. I didn't take my shoes off. I'm glad I showered before I left the house. There was no way I was going to shower there. Probably safer to just jump in the pool. The parking lot was lit up well. And the lady at desk was nice just super "by the book". I would recommend calling ahead and do research, trust majority of the reviews you read. This was a last minute thing for us. I will not ever stay there again.

My first room reeked of weed. My second the floor was uneven there was water damage to the wall and tub floor. The water was clear but water smelled faintly of sewage. It was not drinkable.

This hotel has large rooms a beautiful swimming very friendly staff the only problem is the rooms are outdated and need remodeling. And the location is awesome for all sporting events and close to i-95 and all the stores in shopping is very close as well.

The worst place I have ever stayed. It was a mistake I made. This place should shut down, literally nothing works, even the hot water is not hot. I should have stated in my car instead of that shady room. Please don’t stay here and put your comfort to the trash. -10 this is what they deserve.

They lady that work the night desk was very rude she judge me before even allowing me to get a room. She was been very racist towards me as a black woman with dreads. I gave her my ID and she would not rent me no room. My cousin was with me and was not staying but she going tell me i need two IDs. I need two beds when i get rooms for a health issuse and she refuse to give me a room and was being nasty. Talking to me from across the room and when i told her i could not hear her she would not came near me to talk to me. She act like she was scared of me as a black woman with dreads. Please if you are black do not rent from this hotel.

First they won't honor our reservation we already paid for, so they charged us double what we originally paid up check in and the place is an utter dump. I ask the to desk clerk for corporates number. She says there is no corporate. I call Red Lion corporate they see my reservation, but can't do anything to help if she won't check us in. If anyone wants to sue this place reach out to me and I'll join in. Plenty of other cheap motels to book in this area. Pick ANY other one

The company i work for booked me here , it was the worst place I've ever been , rooms were smelly ( mold mostly that you can see around ducts !) Towels were stained , the lady at front she is always barefoot ! I am still recovering from that night as my lungs are full of whatever was there , big NO

Didn't get a room. What's the point staying at a place that they can randomly search for no reason. Then tell me how I can stay there. Glad I hadn't spent money yet. This isn't prison. 😂

The place smelled so bad. Killed many cockroaches and small ant looking bugs. The rug was filthy and felt great. The floor was crumbling under your feet. SO NOT STAY THERE. Sleep in your car

I was driving all night to make it to an appointment for my father who has stage 4 cancer. I pulled in at 5:20 am and just wanted a couple of hours of sleep - front desk said they stop giving out rooms at 4:00am. The lot was empty, so they didn’t want to give me a room for 4 hours? Went next door and got a room. Based on the other reviews, I’m glad I didn’t stay. But come on! Sounds like the night clerk didn’t want to do any work. I just needed a few hours of sleep and a shower so I’d be presentable for my dads doctor appointment.
