BEWARE OF THIS PROPERTY!! THEY ARE UNETHICAL PEOPLE!! FRAUDELANT BUSINESS!! Please see the updates of my battle. Let me begin by saying that the pictures posted online are not even close to what the property looks like. There are several hotels around it that are much better. The room smelled musty and we could not get the light above the vanity to work properly. The toilet continued to run unless you jiggled the handle. Our group had about 15 rooms in that block and we all had the same experience. To top things off, when I made the reservations through the Bonvoy app, it somehow reserved two rooms for us (exactly one minute apart). I had no idea until a few days before our trip when I attempted to get clarification. They stated that since we were beyond our cancellation period that we had to pay for both rooms. When I got to the hotel, I tried to resolve it again but they didn't see a second reservation for me so I thought it might have been handled. About a week after the trip, I see a second charge on my credit card. I had to get my credit card company involved to since you cannot get anyone from Marriott corporate on the phone to handle everything (they defer you to the property). After a few months of communicating, Fairfield Inn states that we are responsible for the charges. Can't figure out how they feel we are responsible when at the property itself, they had no second reservation for me and when I went to check-out, I asked for a complete bill for all of my rooms and only one was produced for me. My battle is not done and I will continue until I get my refund. I will post again with updates. UPDATE: 7/28 Still battling with Marriott corporate and Fairfield Inn. They still can't see that no one at the hotel could find two reservations yet they want to charge me. Not done fighting. I have sent 2 more follow up emails and no response. UPDATE 9.13.2022 Received another response from the motel manager as I filed a complaint with the BBB. That was the only way to get Marriott to listen. Marriott had a very rude woman call and all she could do was read from a script. Unfortunately management only feels like quoting their cancellation policy and not actually look into what happened.

This place gets ZERO stars from me! My friend woke up to a bug crawling on his face! And it totally freaked me out! THEN we saw another bug, (because it does not look like a roach) in the AC unit, with some type of sac on it, possibly baby roaches or baby bugs, but it creeped us out to the point where we had to leave in the middle of the night. It's disappointing and overall disgusting to have such infestation in a hotel where you are supposed to find comfort and security. When we told front desk, the receptionist apologized and asked for video footage to be emailed to her. No accommodations to make up for this unforeseen horror, nor a refund. ZERO compassion. So I would not advise this hotel to anyone, just keep driving or stay across the street at the more cleaner hotels. There you can find solace in knowing that you will get a good night's sleep and not worry about bugs/roaches, hearing people through the walls as if they are in room with you, bigger beds, and BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!

I gave this hotel the benefit of two stars mostly because the staff was amazing. The front desk clerk and housekeeping crew were awesome! Also parking was free and they have a fairly decent continental breakfast. But the hotel rooms leave a lot to be desired. The dark rooms and the antiquated furniture in the rooms need to be updated. The room smelled like mildew. The dingy carpet was so sticky, presumably because of the humidity. The loud, blowing fan did not help as it stayed on all night. The bathroom was small and outdated (but the water was hot). I slept on top of the sheets on the bed because I did not trust its cleanliness; the pillows and sheets were very wrinkled and just looked "worn." I didn't observe any bugs but because the room felt so old and unclean I couldn't help but feel like bugs are crawling on me throughout the night. (Again I did NOT see any bugs.) Overall, I would probably not stay here again until the hotel undergoes some major room renovations. This is not a hotel that represents the best quality that Marriott has to offer.

This hotel is old, dirty and broken. First off it's August of 2022 and there are no CDC restrictions but they're still pretending that there's no housekeeping as a "safety" measure. The hotel reflects this, the rooms are disgusting. The toilets don't flush, sinks drain slow and smell awful, you'll find no trash bags in the cans, no toilet paper, no tissue. Wifi is active in the hallways and dies in the rooms, the ice machine on 2 of 3 floors is broken and though I made them aware theres been no move to fix and no "out of order" sign. They don't care about any of this. We booked a room with a crib and got here to find they have no cribs. We're the highest tier Diamond members and in the 40+ Fairfield Inns we've stayed in they've never not had cribs, more importantly they've never tricked us into coming KNOWING they don't have cribs which would be the most unprofessional thing I've ever seen were it not for what happened the night we checked in. The man behind the desk was the most aggressive, rude and unprofessional staff member ice seen and he has no business working in hospitality or customer service of any kind. That night, he spoke on the phone to an American Airlines Executive who's responsibility for booking all the hotel rooms for JAX employees and airport employees nation wide and she pulled this hotel off the roster. This Fairfield Inn will never see another long term business traveler from AA because of your staff's antisocial personality traits, poor training, and lack of human decency. We're checking out early, needless to say.

Not your typical Marriott property, in my opinion. The cleaning staff was very friendly. The issue that I did have was on my last day I have a emergent situation and needed a late checkout. I wasn't accommodated at all. I did understand it can depend on staffing, especially now, however status should have some leverage when it gets to this. The front desk wasn't willing to budge on this. 1hr was not enough time. So I just get her my things and left. I will not be returning to this property. You don't have to be a 5star property to give 5star service. That's the sad part about it If you give 5star service people will gladly return no matter the property. Never again.

I recently stayed here thinking it was a nice place. I was wrong. The room smelt awful, holes in the walls, and the mini fridge did not work on arrival. They ended up not giving me back my security deposit and charged me an addition 60 dollars for damages and stated I broke their mini fridge. They are liars and thieves. They are refusing to give me my security deposit back but I will be getting my money back. Avoid this place. It's a scam.

My husband and I booked this hotel for a funeral. The AC is as extremely loud. We tried different setting in hopes of calming the noise. Nothing helped! So we opted to turn it off. Not to mention the restroom. There is mold everywhere!! I went down to the front office. To make a complaint and was told that they could put us in another room but they wouldn’t be able to do so until checkout time. I didn’t want that asked for a refund and was told that I wasn’t getting a refund and that they’d give me free cancellation on the booking for the next night. Owner was very rude and the manger told me that it looked like built up dust to her. No it was painted over black mold. The carpet was ripped the elevated had a knocking noise and the the walls throughout the hallway had holes everyone. Not very clean at all..Do not waist your money on this place!

Had to cancel my room, tried calling but all day 'their systems were down' and was hung up on by Vivienne. So called back and spoke with Hannah, who apologized, canceled and claimed to refund me. However after I was still charged, I called back. Lisa the hotel manager somehow, hung up on me while I was explaining what happened then dodged my phone calls. Will not refund me. Awful Awful customer service and now I see why the employees hang up on you...why wouldn't they if the MANGER DOES.

The front guest attendant on Saturday was so rude and racist towards my husband that morning if any surrounding hotel would have had a room we would have left this place. I also left my contact info for a manager to reach out to me and no one has not called me yet. In addition when we pulled back the sheets off the bed we notice the sheets had not been changed or washed and no one was willing to make a change regarding that either worst weekend stay EVER

This hotel is horrible this is not a corporate Marriott property it’s a franchise and it’s not up to the Marriott standards. The hotel owner who acts like the manager cuts corners and it shows. I would not stay here and highly suggest nobody does my sheets dirty, carpet filthy, customer service horrible. I’m Titanium Elite Marriott level status and the manager Tina treated me very rudely when I brought my concerns to her about my room. Doshi is the company that franchise the hotel and I believe they are using sheets from the super 8 they own around the corner. Marriott needs to take the name from this property I will do my best to let the world know to avoid this location!!!

When we told them that our room smelled like a cigarette factory, they stated there were no more rooms available and we “had” to pay for an upgrade. The manager Nikki (could be Nicki or even Mickey, didn’t want to give us her name. Had to literally say “Your parents gave you a name when you were born. What is it?” in order for her to respond) came directly from the devil himself. When she responded to us about the complaint, she stated “Well, you did book the cheapest room.” So because we booked the cheapest room, we should have just dealt with the cigarette smoke? This front desk manager needs to be fired, and if you’re considering staying there, don’t. If they decide to respond to this review in a nice and professional manner, which is the way any business should handle disputes, think about the movie ‘Get Out’ or any movie where the people start off with smiles and offer you pie, and then you discover the pie is poisoned. Again, do not stay here, please.

This hotel is disgusting and that Indian women at the front desk is sassy mouth , rude , disrespectful. I am titanium elite when I checked in someone was making a complaint at the front desk How dirty their room is. My room had hair all in bathroom. My room was dirty I went out brought bleach to wipe down.then I took a bath 10 mins into my bath I heard knocking at the door . It was maintenance / front desk guy apparently the bath water in the tub was flooding the room downstairs.the Indian women at the front desk told me. I should have known not to take a bath because I see that the property is old the disrespectful front desk Indian women blamed me for the flood..despite me taking a proper bath not my fault pipes and drainage leaking within the wall.. also the furniture is very very very old dresser draws only stayed close by leaning the trash can against it ..The hardware within the rooms IE shower head , sprinkler heads are all rusty . When I had to take a shower the head was loose or broke so water sprayed everywhere , the carpet was DIRTY I wore white socks instantly my socks became dirty..the elevator needs to be inspected it makes disturbing noises..lamp in my room bulb flick flickered so I had to keep that lamp off .. my last night another guest were complaining to the front desk about their ventilation.. this hotel is absolutely positively the worst Marriott I have ever stayed ..and that Indian women needs a reprimand her mouth will surely get her into trouble I rate this property a negative zero .. this hotel so disgusting I have been a member of Marriott 8 years and this is my very first bad review and complaint to head quarters ..I’m so unproblematic Marriott gave me 50k points .DO NOT STAY HERE

Great hotel and great Value! The staff here is always accommodating and welcoming. Great breakfast with a variety included in the stay. The place is always kept clean and if you need anything they are accommodating.

Bathrooms are gross. Requested 2 o'clock priority late checkout as a gold elite member. Was told they were booked and could not accommodate. Looked up, and they had several rooms available. The lady at the counter then changed her story to another lie. Then they went to the room and harassed my son. No class.

The hotel was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The only negatives were the sink would not drain properly and the TV channels went out, and never came back on. Staff was fairly friendly and water pressure is great

Ryan works the front desk. He has excellent customer service skills. I will come and say hi next time 6come in town. Definitely underpaid for how amazing of an employee he is. They are lucky to have such a great employee!! Definitely 5 stars for this location!!

I always enjoy a Fairfield inn night. The place is clean, the attention to detail is great. Fred, at the front desk, was friendly and helpful. The man at the breakfast nook was extremely professional! He kept cleaning every drop, shining the hot plate to look beautiful while more people came in. He reminded the kids of their waffles before they burned, and kept an eye on every breakfast item not to miss. The gym was as expected. Although we had no opportunity to visit. The corridors could benefit from a more cheering colour of walls, and the elevator fixed not to clank but overall, the place was a great stop.

Good luck getting an accurate receipt. I requested one by email but it never got sent. So I called them and stayed on the line until I received it by email. Then I noticed they incorrectly applied state and local taxes, after the first thing I did was give them a lodging tax exemption form, so I had to call and get a partial refund. After liquidating my travel claim, I noticed an undocumented charge on my credit card, so I had to call about that. Apparently checking in with the app is not really checking in, so I received a no show charge since I arrived after midnight, so I had to call to get an additional receipt for that. The breakfast is terrible and the rooms are musty. Will not stay again.

Stayed here as a family of four with two young children. It’s a simple two-star hotel, fair value and the rooms are clean and basic. Breakfast included was a nice touch. Not a noisy hotel despite the urban location, would consider staying again.

I stayed in room 102 on Friday the first of December and checked out on Saturday morning December 2. When I got into the room, the people upstairs was making so much noise. I was up since two that morning did not get any sleep last night. Then I went into the bathroom hair was everywhere in the sink on the floor. It was just nasty. Then I died down and was ready to lay down for the night pull a sheet back black stuff in the bed. Dennis morning went into the bathroom to take a shower. The bathtub is filthy. The shower curtain look like it never was changed had mold on the shower curtain and the tub, nasty hair all in the tub. Then, at the end housekeeping come bam on the room door. SMH

Alisha and another new guy at the front desk are possibly the two rudest people I have ever encountered at a Marriott property. They both said they were new, would not help at all, and actually told me to go sit down like I was a three-year-old. They have no clue in customer service or how to operate a hotel. I was not allowed to speak to a manager so as a Bonvoy elite member, I called and made a report. Hopefully something is done about this sooner than later. This is the worst hotel Marriott I’ve ever stayed at.

Our family of four had a good experience here. Child-friendly breakfasts and plenty of space for the kids to play in the room. Our room was clean, mattresses were comfy and the shower had good water pressure. The front desk helped us when we needed more bed linen and towels. Would recommend as a good value and conveniently out-located pit stop.

Do not stay here! Bed bugs and service is not what you expect from Marriott. Not even close. Huge mistake on our part staying here. Smelt old, elevator made noises and even other guest in the elevator commented on this with me. Sounded like it was going to brake. My husband and I both were eaten up with bed bugs. We are lifetime Marriott titanium members. We know what to expect from a Marriott property. You won't get it here.

I’m a federal employee and was recently in town on a business trip. I stayed in room 126, unfortunately I didn’t get any sleep due to how noisy the AC was(I recorded videos). I eventually had to go out and buy a set of earplugs because most hotels in the area was completely sold out and they couldn’t offer any resolution. I reported it to the front desk guy that morning and he said he would relay my issues to management. Well someone name Hannah called me from the hotel and told me unfortunately the maintenance guy couldn’t come in and the hotel is sold out so I can checkout…she went on to say and you must have your things out before noon. She said it with an attitude and showed no compassion. I over looked several things in the room and I was professional with her but it’s not so much what she said but how she said it to me. She is the epitome of unprofessional! In addition the room had mold on the bathroom wall/ceiling, it smelled of mildew, there was rust over just about all the appliances, the tub stopper was missing, candy wrapper was left on the floor, I found hair in the bed, bugs was crawling all over the lobby dining room table when I sat down for breakfast and even with all those discrepancies I only mentioned the AC! I will never utilize this property again and I won’t recommend that my colleagues use. This place is in serious need of renovations and customer service training! The location is great but this place is a real dump! Definitely a 1-2 star property. Marriott should be ashamed to associate their name with this specific property, they should hold these franchises to certain standards because it felt more like I was staying at a budget inn!

Service was terrible, rooms were disgusting(they don’t even use mattress protectors), had mold in first room, pee and pubs on toilet in second room. I took pictures of mold, stains all over the beds(because I strip them when I leave as a courtesy for housekeeping). I also asked for a late check out and was denied, and was told hotel was “sold out(funny because I had to be moved from my moldy room to another),” all the more reason to let some people stay late-housekeeping can’t strip all the rooms right at check out-especially when they have a sign saying there is no housekeeping services. Overall this location is filthy and I will never be back, especially not at $180 for one night.

Only reason I didn't give it all 5 is rooms could use new lighting/usb ports. I don't always carry my charger anymore as most rooms have usb ports. Location is excellent, restaurants, etc all close. Ryan at desk is very helpful, great recommendations for the area. All in all good experience

The service at this hotel was excellent, the rooms ok, and the breakfast fine, a little crazy with too many people at the breakfast room taking food like it was their last meal in life. Other wise was ok.

Do not accept a room beside the elevator!!! It pops and cracks every time it goes up and down. Had a very hard time sleeping last night. Ask them twice today to change my room and they told me both times that they were unable to. Breakfast doesn't start til 7AM. After I usually have to be out the door. Most Marriott hotels start breakfast at 6AM. This place smells old and musty.

Location was good for me. Not far from the hospital. Not too much traffic and road noise. The bed was very uncomfortable. Worst bed I have ever slept in. My back was fine yesterday, but it hurts today. I got very little sleep last night due to this worn out lumpy bed. Other than the awful bed, this could have been a great stay. Has a fridge and a microwave in room. Hair dryer in room. TV is mid size with decent channels. The bathroom is good, but the shower rod is loose and missing adjustment screws so the shower curtain keeps sliding down. There is a laundry room on the first floor with one washer and one dryer. A tiny box of All detergent is $2.50. Washer costs $2.50. Dryer costs $2.50. Had a good complimentary breakfast. No scrambled eggs, though.

I use to work housekeeping for 2 hotels and this is by far the nastiest hotel I have stayed in. First of all, they suspended housekeeping because of COVID, it's Nov 2022 and they are still NOT cleaning because of COVID. COVID should make you want to clean more to keep the germs at a minimum. They said we had to request housekeeping and when we did the housekeeper never came. She came the day before my check out date. Really? The room was stink, I had to buy my own cleaning products to clean the room. Curtains have stains and the shower curtain was really wet like someone just took a shower when we checked in. I don't know about anyone else, but when I stay in a hotel it should not feel like someone just packed up and left. The sheets had holes in them. The toilet seat was broken, mold in the bathroom and there was a rubber band behind the toilet when we checked in. This tells me that the bathrooms are not being cleaned properly. This hotel really need to step up with cleaning. Breakfast was okay and the front desk receptionist (Ryan) was really sweet, but overall the cleanliness. I give it a zero, very nasty. I have pictures of everything. This is not the Marriott stay I was hoping for, I will not be booking again. Can't even get my money back because it's non-refundable. If I knew housekeeping was suspended, I would have never booked the hotel because it felt like I was doing their job while I was on vacation. Never again!

Beware, this location is disgusting for a Marriott Hotel! I stayed for a night for peace of mind, and the room smelled like a dirty mop. My peace of mind went out the window 🪟 after staying for a day at this Property! Not to mention, I found a dirty washcloth in the Shower! It was so disgusting 🤮 I waited to take a Shower at home since I lived locally! I don’t recommend staying at this Hotel, even for my worst Enemy! Most importantly, I can't believe it's a Marriot Hotel. I have stayed at Econo Lodge Hotels for way cheaper and with less hassle, 100x better than this Hotel! BEWARE

My parents were treated with very little respect which is something I would never expect at a location caring the marriott brand. The staff need more education on the check in process and it needs to be made more consistent throughout Marriott properties so we can get even acceptable service. My family should be treated like family as well. Instead they felt unimportant.

Stayed here 10+ nights: I am a road warrior and live out of hotels, specifically with the Marriott brand. I take feedback seriously. This Fairfield is a solid 3, not better, some days worse. Overall good cleanliness and comfort in the room. >The bed was Marriott quality which allowed a good night sleep. The shower had good water pressure and the wifi was strong enough to stream anything without issue. The opportunities at this location are with hospitality and service. >The breakfast is almost entirely carbs day in and day out. Rarely you will find any protein to pick at. And when they do put out breakfast sandwiches with sausage and egg, they are first come, first served and are not always replenished. I missed out several times while enjoying coffee before attempting to eat. >They are short staffed and unless you ask to have your room serviced, they will skip you. You have to go to the desk daily to replenish things like shampoo and towels. Once the manager realized I was a Lifetime Titanium Elite, she offered to have my room serviced any day which was nice. >Hospitality is lacking with some of the associates. Being under-staffed creates extra work load and it shows. I would stay here again. It’s clean and comfortable and affordable. Just do not expect a wow in service and hospitality. If you are a low-carb person, think ahead about breakfast.

I stayed here for a business trip last week for two nights. The service at the front desk was always friendly and welcoming, and they even called my room when a Doordasher arrived with my dinner to be sure it was ok to send them up for my safety, which was greatly appreciated as a female traveling alone. The room was just ok...it could stand a renovation, particularly in the bathroom area, as it felt a bit outdated and poorly lit in the vanity area, which made it difficult to apply makeup and fix my hair. The room could have also felt a bit more clean...not that it was terrible but could have been better. They have suspended daily housekeeping because of Covid so this could be the problem. I didn't partake in the breakfast but coffee creamers were almost non-existent so definitely take your own if you like that sort of thing. Still giving it a solid 4 stars for the excellent service and overall experience for this hotel price point.
