This hotel needs updating, painting, etc. For the amount I paid, I expected a nicer facility. I usually love the Marriott hotels and look for them first when I travel. But many things were lacking with this hotel. For example-hair from previous people in sink, dust on desk, door in serious need of paint, person cleaning next door allowed the door to slam about 10 times as she was going in and out-then had an attitude when we said something to her. I wasn't a fan of the price per day per car parking either. Landscape needs attention outside, water pressure not great in shower, etc.

Wonderful place to stay. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are comfortable. I got a balcony that looks out to the ocean and it was beautiful. The beach is just a few steps from the back patio and lovely. Well worth the longer drive from the airport. I look forward to staying on my next trip.

Everything was too expensive! After paying quite a lot for my room, the bar charged me almost $20 for a drink that wasn't even made correctly and didn't taste good. The next morning I spent nearly $30 at the Starbucks Bistro for 2 bagels, a coffee and a tea. There is a breakfast buffet, but apparently that is only for the Residence Inn guests and not for the Marriott Courtyard guests, even though it's all the same hotel. There were hardly ever any clean towels at the pool for guests to use. The hotel itself was nice but the prices for food and drinks that were not tasty makes the overall experience less than average.

The best thing about the hotel is the view, as long as you are not over the hotel's pool with your room as that can get loud at times below you. Be on the 4th floor or above as well for the best view. You are close enough to the beach you can keep the door open to the balcony all night and hear the sounds of the ocean if it is not too hot. The room itself is nothing fancy. The shower made very loud sounds with a very loud whistling sound. If you are sensitive to perfumes or chemicals the room had a lot of that smell in the beginning so don't book this hotel I would say. It got better after I aired the room out for a few hours. Forget getting food at the bar/restaurant I would say. Why? Well, I thought $42.00 for two smallish hamburgers, with two beers and a side salad was a bit much, but it was about to poor down rain so we went with it. The time to get the food was long but the server was good enough. Plenty of other restaurants nearby to pick from.

Great location! Love this hotel. The pool is wonderful. It's right on the beach and a safe place for a moonlight stroll or to watch the sunrise. Everyone was very nice and the room was clean! The only draw back is they don't have enough parking but they still charge $15 a night to park your car. We had to park further away in a lot across the street.

Amazing hotel, great and beautiful location, and the hotel staff made the stay perfect!! Jen at the front desk was very welcoming and I loved her customer service! She accommodated everything beautifully. Even the breakfast they have at the hotel was outstanding! Tori who works the breakfast, area was very pleasant. The second time we came to breakfast she already remembered our coffee orders, which was very surprising! Made us feel very special! I loved every minute at this hotel.

Wonderful hotel!!! Would have been a wonderful experience except for the room they put us in. Room 224. Charged the same for this room as all the others. Not the same experience. View of roof. All day noise from storage room. Noise and lights shining off air conditioning units on roof all night from fitness room. This should not be a guest room. Just wasn't fair. Managrment should spend a day and night in this room to see what a disappointment it is. I stood on a stool to see the sunrise. Beautiful thoughts of what this was going to be were crushed. Lots of money for an unequal experience as others. Go to the hotel but refuse room 224 or any close to it.

We really enjoyed our stay and the service at the bar was wonderful. We had great conversation with many of the guest at the bar and I loved sitting out at the fire pit later that evening. We had an beautiful ocean view and it was very quiet at night when we went to sleep. I will book again.

Was visiting and enjoying the pool and hot tub area. They had live music outside, till I thin 7 pm was nice. The best part of the experience was the Tiki Bar. The bartender, Kim was amazing! She was so personable, she turned all the Guests in to Friends. Was surprised to see how many people she knew from previous stays. Her service was top notch, Kim made my Wife's and I visit memorable. We will be back!

Spent a night here for my wife's birthday and I had put in a request for them to make it a little extra special for her. And they absolutely did! Disclaimer: I'm a Marriott loyalist and am currently hold the Ambassador status. Despite this, I feel the hotel staff and Marriott team went out of their way to make it special for my wife. They very sweetly kept a bottle of Champaign and a piece of cake in the room for us, with a birthday card specially for my wife. That was very sweet and I highly appreciate the hotel for doing this! We got upgraded to the Junior Executive suite and the view from the balcony was unbeatable! Absolutely magical! We also walked on the beach from the hotel to a pier and back, I highly recommend doing that! Will definitely try to visit here again!

The hotel staff is by far the best I have experienced in a very long time! Brandy and Ashanti at the front desk went above and beyond to assist me during my four day stay. Golden and Nya were always expedient and ready to assist in my food and drink requests. Highly recommend! Hats off to these ladies and thank you!

Great hotel! At 360 dollars a night you would think Marriott could afford complementary breakfast. Those days are gone. Really sad. It’s the small things that make a huge difference. Air B&B and VRBO is the future.

Nice place needs a little touch up here and there but still very nice and clean. Our balcony had been recovered a few times and still had some cracks I would not trust the rail and the light on the balcony was some weird red heat lap light you couldn't even see with it on it was useless. But the room was nice and clean.

My husband and I had an overnight stay here on the way home from the Cruise we took for our 22nd Anniversary. Charles at the front desk welcomed us, was super nice and helpful. At the lounge area, my husband enjoyed a couple of cocktails and everyone was friendly. The beach was so relaxing and beautiful. We stayed in one of their oceanfront rooms. The room was sparkling clean and spacious. It was so relaxing hearing the waves crash right outside the balcony door, that we left it opened for most of the evening. We felt safe and enjoyed our stay.

When a hotel says ocean front, you know you're staying at the best place that you can. This place was off the chain. Gorgeous wonderful ambiance was great. Customer service was great. Free breakfast. I recommend it highly and I stay in a lot of hotels. I travel quite a bit. I'm a pastor

Kindly upgraded me to an ocean view, and checked in early. Even on a rainy day, the fabulous hot tub / pool area made for a lovely stay. Tiki torches, ambient lighting, and fire pit for gathering.

This hotel is in the perfect location in Jacksonville. I was there to go to the Mayo Clinic, but I chose this hotel because I wanted to recover with a view. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was $22/day... When I originally booked I misread that breakfast was available, not included. I'm not a huge breakfast fan, so I found local places instead. The cafe with Starbucks coffee was great - and even had oatmilk. The room itself was nice, clean and had an amazing view. It seemed like a mix of the old Marriott and the new Marriott. They were in the process of remodeling, but there is still more to do in the rooms. The bed was mediocre and way too firm. The pull out mattress was a bag of springs. The desks were amazing and the office chair was very comfortable. The view was absolutely incredible. I was on the 5th floor and was able to look at the pool and the beach. I would definitely stay here again, but hopefully they make a few tweaks to freshen up. The staff and the view makes it even better!

Absolutely wonderful beautiful clean hotel. My fiancé and I went there for the comment of our engagement for the weekend. Christa was extremely helpful and courteous. Her service she provided was all about us and our experience over this special weekend. Thank you Christa you have just gained all of our business and word of mouth to others.

Maybe it's just me. But the service here is not great. I was kept waiting at breakfast for 10mins coz there isn't a staff there at 7am..little things spoon is not avail. They bring the coffee and no sugar or stirrer... chef at the egg counter will not be on duty and u have to wait 5min for the staff to stroll out. And she will put eggs on the stove and left... . Apart from there room is clean but a/c is kinda of loud at night. Location is kinda of far though u may like the view of the beach

The ladies at the desk were incredible, helping me all the time. that I was there. The hotel itself is very clean. right on the beach. It has a clean restaurant. Nice pool and cabana bar. I would definitely go back.

This new hotel is excellent. Beach front. Modern and excellent amenities. Excellent breakfast and Sandbar restaurant is good. Rooms are confortable. Housekeeping could improve. But overall experience was great. We will definitely return to book or beach vacations in this place.

As a commercial cleaning professional (who brought cleaning supplies) it was NOT dirty. Everyone is extremely nice, except for the bar tender (I didn’t interact with her my family did). They didn’t have a fan but it’s understandable. The air conditioner was not cooling the room.

Amazing! That is all! Service, rooms, location. Courtyard by Marriott never disappoints! Don't hesitate, book here now! I am going back and have already booked here again! Easy access to the beach. Views are amazing in the rooms. The bistro downstairs is a breath of fresh air on a beautiful tropical morning!

Been staying at Marriott properties for a long time for business and leisure and wanted to take the time to write a review, in regards tot he service that Jennifer provided during our stay. She was incredible, went above and beyond to make us all comfortable, to the point when my 3 children came down to the lobby on the days when she wasn't working were asking where she was, so they could talk to her, which has never happened before. The service was outstanding and accommodating, the kids want to come back as soon as possible. Thank you for that special touch to make the experience for our trip special.

Linda and Sarai went above and beyond with our stay here at the courtyard. My sister had a hard travel and they were very thoughtful and kind when she arrived to the hotel. There's nothing better than outstanding customer service. The people that were working around the hotel, the custodial services, housekeeping, and the servers/bartenders all were very nice!!! Thank you all so much for your kindness. I gave the rooms a 4 ⭐ because the fan in the bathroom did not work, there should be a bathroom fan to help with some of the moisture, other than that it was a great location. There's some great restaurants to walk or a short car ride away, and you're on the beach 🙂

I had a blast visiting with My friend's family the last couple of days. All the staff was helpful and attentive. My friend's Dad was amazing to spend time with, His Dad was in the military, and afterwards, he joined one of the fire 🔥 departments in Massachusetts till his retirement, his story about being called #10 overseas was hilarious 😂. I am hopeful that everyone who visits here will have just as good if not better then Our fond memories to take back home with them!!

We had a stay cation. We live 28 minutes away. We love Jacksonville Beach, and our three nights ocean front, pool view at the Court Yard Marriott was amazing. We will definitely stay again soon. We also enjoyed the food and drinks.

Loved it! They have a restaurant and bar which was great after a day on the road. The bartender, who was also our server, was so nice! It is just a short walk down to the beach. The firepit area was awesome, and we got to sit around a fire and meet some really cool people from other places! The room was clean and everything was comfortable!

Jennifer was so very kind and welcoming when I arrived. The maintenance man took time to help me get the luggage cart in the elevator. Beautiful view of ocean and pool from our room. Very clean. Highly recommend.

Great location and view. Nice bar and market in the lobby. Staff is very courteous and attentive. The pool are and hot tub is very nice and spacious. We enjoyed spending time by the fire pit and on the balcony overlooking the Atlantic. We’ll absolutely return for another stay!

One of the best hotels to stay if you are looking to stay at beachfront on Jacksonville beach. Giving one star less because the outdoor pool heating equipment was not working which was one of the two main reasons for us to choose this hotel in February (other is beachfront of course). Everyone from front desk to house keeping were really courteous. The rooms were decent sized and clean as you expect from Marriott brand. I would definitely visit again if outdoor pool heating is fixed

Best room ever, balcony view, two minutes to the beach, breakfast buffet was awesome, don't know the lady's name that made our omelettes but she did a delicious job. Location of hotel to surrounding area ... very good and walkable if you feel like walking.

I love staying at the Courtyard! It's by far one of the best and most affordable hotel chains out there. Their restaurant is really good! They have an outside bar, where Kim & Tracie took AMAZING care of us! Pool & hottub are off the chain til 11 PM. Most hotels I've stayed at close by 9 or 10 PM. This hotel service was great up until we got locked out of our room because of some Karen. I feel like the hotel should've handled this differently. All in all, a great place to stay though!

Second time here and still great. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Ate at the Bisto every morning and enjoyed our breakfast and the very friendly waitress. Also enjoyed the pool bar, amazing bourbon milk shakes. If you want to relax and enjoy the beach it is well worth the stay!

The railing on the balconies were made of PVC pipe and were somewhat flimsy — we didn’t feel this was safe, especially at a hotel with so many children. The food was good but the drinks weren’t great. For the price, you can probably do better. The staff was very friendly, especially the manager. It’s in a more private part of the strip, so if you’re looking for things to do, it’ll be a further walk.

Enjoyed this beautiful setting. Nice room overlooking the ocean. Can't beat the view! Pool area and beach access are good. Restaurant is OK. This is a great home base for exploring the area. Staffing is a real mixed bag. Parking was tight on the weekend, but much easier on the weekdays. Beach rentals were easy and reasonably priced.

Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any room. This web site will compare countless booking web sites and normally will have rooms much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This resort is the best rated in the area. I've been coming here for years. If you stay for a few days you won't regret it. Amazing location. The Atlantic is pouring into your room. It's worth upgrading. The sunrise today was amazing. Perfect front desk service and a very good breakfast with handmade omelettes. Special thanks to Ashton from the front desk she just was amazing and committed to our stay. Thank you for a nice stay, views and weather. Perfect five.

Overall we had a wonderful time at the hotel. The hospitality is amazing, my son got sick the first night & threw up in the room in the middle of the night housekeeping came & cleaned everything. Front desk staff were super nice & helpful. The staff the bar were also nice. The oceanfront room is amazing. The rooms could definitely use an update & you can hear your neighbors but my children & I had a great experience. Can’t wait to return! Thanks!
