The room was clean and spacious. The staff were so nice! The views are absolutely amazing. The breakfast was very good. The thing I loved most was being able to walk right out to the beach. We had a wonderful stay and we will definitely be back. Thank you!!

Enjoyed my stay and will return! The room was spotless, cold and the ocean view was fantastic. Free breakfast was hot and filling. The smoke detector was beeping when I got into my room and when I called to let them know they sent maintenance right away. Easy peasy! You can enjoy a walk on the beach and stop for a beverage or shopping on the way back. Very convenient location! The parking garage area is great but shouldn't be an additional charge, that's my only complaint with this hotel, $10+ nightly to park is ridiculous when you're already paying for a room.

OK first off the pool looks nothing like the pictures. It is very small. I mean really small. Now you are on the beach so who needs a pool right. Limited parking and you have to pay to park. The rooms were nice and fairly clean. The free breakfast made up for paying to park.

Great location on the beach within walking distance to many pubs and restaurants. Very clean, but common areas (hallways) could use a little maintenance. Staff was super friendly and attentive. Would definitely stay here again but next time will get ocean front with balcony since street front was a bit noisy. Good value.

We were on the first floor. Had an oceanfront room with balcony. Beautiful views. The beds were comfortable and the room offered all the conveniences you'd need for a short stay. The staff was friendly and professional. Breakfast offered a decent selection and was delicious. My only complaint was our room had a leak either coming from the AC unit or off of the balcony. It was coming under the threshold and under the carpet and soaked the floors to the first bed. We didn't mind bc we wear sandals, but it did make the room feel and smell musty. We were only staying one night and alerted the staff to the issue upon checkout. Otherwise, lovely stay. Would stay again and would recommend.

I stay all over and love an included breakfast, but this place has raised the bar for the rest of the country. The breakfast was great, and for the small area, they made a big breakfast. For a Best Western, the place was bright and the rooms were clean and spacious. Also the staff was great. I'll stay here again! Then top it all off with a stay at the beach, and all the souvenir shops.

The best asset that this hotel has going for itself it by far the staff!! The ladies and gentleman here were above and beyond wonderful and made a hard trip so much more pleasant!! The room was always cleaned and supplied and the desk staff made you feel welcomed and appreciated. The hotel itself is clean and right on the beach which was gorgeous!! The $10 a day parking was disappointing but on par for the area from what I can tell. Be prepared... the parking area is SUPER tight. The area was SUPER loud at night but with the AC on high and the tightly closing shades to keep the light out I didn't hear much of anything after. There are nice shops in the area and plenty of spots to eat at with lots of different flavors. There are many larger shopping plazas nearby as well.

Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking your hotel. This website will compare countless booking websites and usually will have rates a lot cheaper than others! You're welcome :)! This place is one of my favorites in this area. I have been staying here for a very long time. If you stay for a few days you for sure will love it I'm sure! Very friendly staff, clean pool and within walking distance of the beach. Rooms are very comfortable and modern. The ocean front room is the way to go with a beautiful view of the Atlantic ocean from your balcony. Makes for a beautiful sunrise.

Was pleasantly surprised. Of my 5 hotels in Florida for a week long trip, this was the best one. Was worried about the age of the building but it’s obviously been updated. Was clean and my room was plenty big. I ended up on the street side so I did get a bit of noise but wasn’t too bad. Probably should have sprung more for a beach view to cut down on the noise but oh well. Great location by the pier as well. Tons of restaurants.

This particular hotel has very limited parking & it's $15 extra fee aside from your hotel stay & deposit. There's only a 7ft clearance into the parking area & our Toyota tundra was 1ft shy of that limit. No lift kit, all stock. The rest of our stay was comfortable. Would have been better view had there not been so much construction going on in all directions.

The view was amazing. The room was very nice and had a patio overlooking the beach. Definitely a party town of Friday night.. but was very quiet on Saturday night. Parking was tight. Free breakfast had lots of options. Lobby was tiny. The staff was not the best, they seemed to be outside smoking when ppl waited for them to return to the desk. The over night girl was amazing nice.

When I tell you Carol who name I think have the letter E in it looked out for us!!!! Shout out to her!!! The rest of the staff was excellent too. The breakfast was great! The bed wasn't the best but the room was nice and clean though. The area was straight because everything was close by. We was there MLK weekend. They treated us as if they been knowing us for awhile.

This Best Western was top notch. The staff went above and beyond to give the best customer service. The rooms are clean and I had no concerns. I was treated like a queen during my stay. I definitely recommend this hotel.

First time staying here. The rooms were clean, breakfast was consistently good every morning. I stayed here during a record heat wave, so being on the beach was key. Access to beach was literally right behind hotel. So cooling off in ocean was nice! Thank God the AC was working good, i pretty much ran it the entire week without any issues whatsoever. It'd def stay here again. Compared to the cost of other hotel right on beach, this was a good bargain. The parking spots were a bit tight, I was driving Ford Explorer. But I honestly think that was the only thing I'd say was an issue, and it really wasn't that big of an issue. There is a pier we would go watch the sunrise from, it cost $2 per person which sucked. I've never been charged to walk a pier. It is not under the hotel's control. Ultimately it was cool to do once. But I could watch sunrise from beach next time. It is beautiful here, and the pier is worth doing once.

Beds were comfy and good location . It was being remodeled but the room didn’t look like it was cleaned well . Already water damage in bathroom on the door frame. Both rooms had a weird smell to them and carpet felt weird . Idk if they still had more to do In the room in between guests or not. It was noisy but we were able to sleep. Breakfast was good but dining area was small .

The room was immaculately clean and up-to-date. The location is awesome as it sits right on the beach. My room was on the third floor and faced the beach and boardwalk. The downside of this was that when I was sitting on my balcony, the smoke from the those below (on the ground of the hotel where smoking was permitted) drifted up to my balcony. Suffering from asthma, I had to return to my room and couldn't enjoy my balcony. For others, this may not be an issue. The room/hotel was quiet and great for me to get work done. The bed was so comfortable that I didn't want to get up in the morning. All-in-all, I recommend this hotel and will return when I'm back in Jax for business or pleasure.

My husband and I decided to meet up with my daughter in Jacksonville Beach, FL. So we can pick up our grandkids to spend time with us in Tennessee, and we were also celebrating our husband's birthday. I googled places in Jacksonville Beach, and WB had the best prices. I booked 1 night ocean front room and a day later decided to stay another night, but they didn't have an ocean front room available. I booked it anyway. We arrived at 4 am, was greeted by a wonderful front desk person her name was Q, she had a beautiful smile on her face, made us feel welcomed, I asked if she could try to let us stay in the same room for the second night, she said she will talk to her boss in the am, because the room was already booked for that day. She was so nice, she also told me we could stay in the room until our other room is ready, I didn't have to check out in the am. I went down in the morning. I spoke to Q, and she told me I did not have to move rooms. I could stay in the same room. We were so happy, she made our day. The room was so pretty and very clean. It had an awesome ocean front view. The balcony was spacious enough. My daughter was coming to visit and I asked about parking for her, I spoke to the manager Katie, another super sweet person, she took my info and told me she was welcome and could park no charge. The pool was not very big, but it was big enough for the kids to enjoy. They had free breakfast waffle maker, eggs, bacon, sausage, French toast, cereals, fruits, juice, and coffee. Everything was delicious, the area was very clean. They also had a bike/walking area about a mile long you can walk out to from the hotel. We have never been to Jacksonville Beach before. Now that we have visited, we are definitely coming back, and we fell in love with the area. I want to say thank you to Q and Katie for making our stay so nice. You guys are wonderful and are great at what you do. Keep up the good work.

This hotel is in a lovely position. We had a room with balcony overlooking the beach. I just feel it was a little overpriced for a Best Western hotel. I know it was because of the position but it is quite a small hotel and I feel doesn't really warrant the high price I paid but I would stay there again hopefully at a lower rate. Be aware of the fact that there are added fees such as having to pay $10.00 a day to park in the hotel parking lot, only one car per room so it leaves one vehicle searching for a place to park. When you find a parking spot it’s anywhere from $20.00 to $28.00 a day. Also the breakfast bar is somewhat underwhelming.

The hotel's location is great. The room itself was spacious with a big bed. The staff was always friendly. Tasty breakfast. Convenient parking ($10 per night). The only downside was the carpet in the room, it was a bit sticky like someone spilled a lot of soda and then it was vacuumed all over the place. Should be cleaned better (maybe we were just unlucky).

We had a great view. The room was on the small side with 2 queen beds. The fridge still had the prior tenants ice cream in the freezer. Housekeeping apologized and took it away immediately. No big deal. The hotel seems to be an older one but it was clean and the staff was very friendly and eager to please. The pool was nice, too.

For what you pay for you receive so much value in this hotel! Room was smaller but clean, modern, and had all we needed! The location can’t get better on the beautiful Jacksonville beach it’s just steps away. The service was good, we were surprised to have house keeping (many hotels have stoped doing this everyday) and the workers were not energetic but happy to do what ever you needed. With all this said - I hadn’t even mentioned the free breakfast which is decent with biscuits and gravy that is top notch! You got so much for your money here - we would definitely stay again.

Update: the lady "Q" as she goes by up front was so nice and helpful and made sure to let us know that we were welcome to sit outside the next night and security would not bother us. She was so nice every morning and night. we saw her. Because of her outstanding service I'm changing my review from 1 star to 4 star. "CAPTAIN BOONE" as he said was a very rude security officer working. Instead of him coming out and telling us we couldn't sit in the chairs around the pool after the pool closed he yelled at us. And asked it we couldn't read the sign. There is a way to talk to guest and treat them and he does not know the correct way. I will not ever stay here again. As long as this security guard on a power trip is employed here. The front desk lady apologized for his behavior. And when we spoke to her about it several other guest spoke up and complained about him being hateful and rude.

I had a wonderful weekend stay here with an amazing ocean view room. It was truly enjoyable to start my day by watching the sunrise from the balcony while sipping a delicious cup of coffee. The complimentary breakfast was quite good, and I particularly loved the coffee. To my delight, they also provided homemade chocolate chip cookies as part of the complimentary treats.

Parking is 10.00 per night. The cost of a King sized room was closer to 150.00 per night. Staff was great. However there was a stain in the middle of our sofa and some patch work needed to be done on the walls.

The staff here is absolutely amazing and so beyond sweet! Love them all! The rooms were amazing the beds were soft and the pillows were even softer! Everything was nice and clean and very up to date! Right on the beach many places to eat within walking distance! They have free cookies for guest that were absolutely delicious! They have drinks you can buy! And their breakfast was absolutely 💯 delicious! Literally in the top 3 best breakfasts I've had at a hotel and I've stayed at a lot over the years! Me and my husband will 100% stay here again and would definitely recommend staying here you will not be disappointed!

Jesse at the front desk was friendly and helped my entire family with any of our needs. Rooms where clean and everything was close to the beach. My daughters enjoyed the free breakfast. My room was cleaned daily. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Extremely clean lobby, hallways and especially the rooms (bathroom extra especially)! The free breakfast was very good and a good variety of choices. Loved the short walk to the beach

Perfect location right on the ocean. Easy walk to the beach and local restaurants and pubs. Rooms are adequate for your needs and clean. Staff left a bit to be desired regarding professionalism, but I was there for the beach. Pool was dirty and unheated upon arrival but cleaned later that evening.

    1) Room is decent 2) Location is great 3) Staff are Cool and Vigilant Let me explain and I sure hope Corporate sees this because it is a major safety issue that thankfully was suppressed by the vigilant staff but could be negated completely by installing key card readers on the elevator. My gf is in the hotel room for work alone while I am at the local plant for work. A strange man knocks on her room door with a clipboard so she anwsers thinking its maintence or a BW employee. He starts asking her questions and try to enter the room as best western staff are yelling at the man to leave and that the police are on the way. After a short dispute, the man ended up leaving, thankfully the staff were hot on his tail on being suspicious. Initially my thought was to never book best western again, but thanks to the staff and all they did, I feel great knowing they are watching for our safety and being on top of any situation that may pop up.

Just spent 4 nights here and this place is a gem. It is right off the beach. Reasonably priced and super friendly staff. Everyone from the night shift attendant Marla to all the ladies on daylight including housekeeping was very helpful. We are looking forward to coming back.

My wife and I stayed there two weeks ago as we brought our child back to college in jacksonville. We checked in around 6pm, went up to our room and noticed the AC wasn't working properly and the room smelled like a dirty armpit. At approximately 6:30 p.m. we went back downstairs to the front desk and explained to the female at the desk we were leaving and we would not be back until around midnight. I explained to her the problem with the ac. She stated to me she would go upstairs and check the AC and let it run for about a half hour of and if it's not working we will accommodate you. I said okay and we left. When we returned to the front desk at midnight the female I had talked to was gone and the female who was there had no idea what I was talking about. Nonetheless, we went up to the room and the room was hot and it smelled so the wife and I sucked it up and at 7:00 a.m. with not too much sleep I went back down and spoke to the front desk person. I informed them of what I was told by the front desk person the night before. I informed her the AC was still not working properly. She immediately called for her maintenance man to check it out and a new AC unit was put in that morning. I believe the situation could have been handled the day before and the night of being hot and not sleeping much could have been avoided. We've stayed there in the past and had no issues. Now they charge $10.75 a day for parking which is not good when I saw numerous cars parked in the garage that appeared to have belonged to the local patrons out at the bars. One night I had to park on the street but still paid the $10 parking fee. My child is graduating and I have a large family that will be attending the graduation and we are up in the air regarding booking four to six rooms at the Best Western oceanfront. We are going to do our research whereas prior to this most recent stay I would have booked it.

The front desk workers are friendly and very helpful. My husband forgot his toothbrush and they gave him one. Our room was clean and the oceanfront view was beautiful! We will have to stay here every year!!!

Overall, we were satisfied with our stay at the BW. For the price, the oceanfront view was great. The front desk people were always friendly and helpful. Negatives: That being said, I'm not sure if it was something with just our room (319) but the walls seemed very thin. One night of our stay, we needed to call the front desk and have them talk to the room next door because they were making a lot of noise and sounded like they were almost in the room with us. This is not the front desk fault but it seems like the walls were very thin. Several of the built in plugs were very loose like you would plug your device in and the plug would fall out. The phone receiver did not work. When trying to call the front desk, we found they could hear us but we could not hear them. In fairness, the front desk said they would have someone check the phone. Lastly, my wife found one live cockroach in the room and we had to kill it. I realize bugs happen but it needed to be mentioned. Positives: Staff was friendly Distance to the beach was very convenient View was great Room was spacious Ev charging worked

I love this hotel! Katie was there when we checked in and she was awesome! The bed was very clean and super comfortable !!! The beach view was nice! Bars and food within walking distance just check the reviews. Parking is $10 and it’s a small lot under the hotel.

This is in the top 5 of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Everyone was so professional and friendly, from check in to check out. The rooms were clean and fresh, the beds were comfortable, and the room was DARK, no annoying parking lot lights. Even the water pressure in the shower was great! Access to the beach was quick and easy, as was shopping and restaurants. We stayed 5 nights, we ate breakfast every morning in the hotel, selection of food was great and fresh. Will absolutely stay here again when we come down.
