i came all the way from New York to do a months work on hiking and site seeing in Arkansas this pass January & February and i thought this might make a good quick little stop after seeing the Fort Smith Site. BOY, WAS I WRONG! the is simply gorgeous. full of charm. i loved everything about it. i almost wish i lived here. but that wasn't it. i was in for another real treat. the ladies that work here are fabulous, wonderful, genuine, friendly, good people full of joy. happy to see me visiting their place. i must have been on 200 house tour over the pass 3 years and i got to be honest. these ladies are by far are my favorite. i can't say enough about them. i wish i could of stayed with them all day. i left there smiling on a rainy February day.

The house was great lots of info about what went in here. My friend and I ,both woman alone without our husbands, thought the tour guy touch you to much like on the back or put his arm around you.

I have been to all 50 states and this is the most interesting and unique visitor center I have ever been to. Beautifully restored home with a very interesting history. The guide was very knowledgeable about the history. Certainly was a welcome surprise on my visit to fort Smith. Well worth the stop.

I'm so glad to see Fort Smith embracing it's history with this visitor center

It's not a visitor center, it's a historic musuem. I love history but I needed a place with information about the area not a tour of a house. We left after a quick walk around. I think this would be Interesting if it was named properly so people know what to expect.

My visit was great 😊 The tour was so educational and interesting. The lady who gave me and my daughter the tour was very polite and respectful. We loved our tour and will be back again.

My husband & I took advantage of long weekend doing what we love: traveling! We landed in Fort Smith to close out 22 & welcome in the new. Trip Advisor recommends Miss Laura's Visitor Center as a must-see and we definitely understand and echo that sentiment. The center is rich with history, artfully adorned, historically preserved, and the tour is value added to any trip. Adding to the experience was the unexpected gift of a unique souvenir - no spoilers- get on over and visit!

This was an awesome look back in time, the stories behind this house of ill repute was really interesting. It's was owned and run by Belle Starrs daughter Pearl Starr in the late 1800's.

Mike, the tour guide, was a pleasure to talk to. Knowledgeable about the home and it’s history- with a really cool story of his own! Free admission, stickers and a “clean bill of health” as free souvenirs (make sure to sign the guestbook!) The history of the home is wild! Lovely, casual atmosphere inside. Lots of historic artifacts and details. Decor is stunning! Still very much so inhabited by a nice woman who seems to have never left the bordello… at least from what we could tell. Nice experience. Glad we stopped!

This place is absolutely stunning and steeped in amazing history! Our tour guide, Carol was the sweetest lady and we adored spending time with her! I highly recommend a guided tour!

My daughter and I had a tour guide all to ourselves! The history of this place was made very entertaining by our tour guide, Gayla. The place has been immaculately restored by the City of Fort Smith. The entire tour took about an hour. Thanks Fort Smith for saving this place!

Interesting piece of history, but sort of jumbled all together and no real visitor center type of atmosphere
