Mmmmmm.... best cake flavors in the area. You can just go into their bakery and pick out any amazing flavor. It's all so moist and delicious.

If you're looking for a delicious pie, Blue Cake Honey Pies at Bowman is the place to go. The coconut pie is my personal favorite, but they also have great strawberry and carrot cupcakes. However, I found the cupcakes to be a bit too sweet for my taste. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the store can be a bit confusing to navigate at first. But overall, it's a great place for sweet treats.

I gave this review a while back and I didn't want the owner or staff thinking I was attacking their product. So I removed the written review. My review is subjective, not defamatory. I don't think Blue Cake makes a bad product. For my taste, I find their icing to have way too much sugar and the sweetness drowned out the flavor of the cakes. Just a personal preference. I do think their cakes have a fantastic texture. The icing, for me, just tasted like sugar and overpowered everything else.

Excellent product and great service! The cakes are sweet, without causing a sugar coma. And the other items like pies and cookies are equally well-made. I’d recommend!

So did the Food Network recommendation, since being a visitor. Did assortment of pies. Didn't get to warm up, like Cobbler. So, Chocolate Peacan, Peach Cobbler & Cherry Crum were pretty good, not thrilled on Apple, bit overcooked. Will take home to warm up.

WOW!! We ordered a 10 inch round cake for our daughter’s birthday with chocolate sponge, cool whip filling, and Swiss meringue buttercream. It was easily one of the best cakes we’ve ever eaten in our lives. The decoration was perfect, the cake was moist, and the Swiss meringue buttercream wasn’t too sweet (exactly what we hoped for!). Even the fondant decorations were extremely tasty and were gobbled up! This cake was worth every penny and we enjoyed it for days. We will be ordering all our future celebration cakes from Blue Cake! Thank you for helping to make our kid’s birthday extra wonderful!

Ordered a cake from this location. It was beautifully designed and to my desired specifications. Have yet to taste it but I’ve had other cakes from Blue Cake so I’m sure it’ll be good. This was my first time actually seeing the inside of the Bowman location. They offer a variety of sweets. Wasn’t a fan of the banana pudding, but I’m really particular about banana pudding and few ever meet my expectations.

I procrastinated getting some form of dessert for my husbands birthday get together and decided to stop in at Blue Cake. I was immediately greeted by the sweetest employee, Terry! She was so incredibly helpful and friendly. She suggested I get some of their Petit Fours and I am so glad she did. They were a huge hit! They were all so delicious. I’ll be requesting some of these for my birthday later this year for sure!

Ryan helped me get an order together over the phone! It was my little sisters birthday today and I live a couple hours away from her.... Not much I can do.. After finding out that she had no plans and no one made any arrangements for her I decided she need some sweet treats and a cake! Ryan was very helpful and really helped add some extra excitement to the day! I told my little sis that there was something special for her at this address, when she came in Ryan had everything together for her already! All she had to do was walk out the door. When she got home I got a facetime call while she was eating some of her sweets! Customer service is 5 stars. Packing is 5 star and the baked goods are 5 stars! Sweet tooth heaven!!! Recently Honey Pies was acquired by Blue Cake, which is another of my favorite places in town. They have a great selection of fresh pies to choose from. Today I learned they do special orders too. I’ll defiantly be back to try a special order.

It was the most expensive and disappointing pie I've ever had. $31 for a key lime pie that was just mediocre. But if you like key lime pie that is not very sweet or tart with limes then this is your place, Also, I walked in and, while no other customers were in the store, workers kept looking at me and saying nothing. Finally after a minute or two, someone asked if I've been helped and I said no. Only at that point did the owner or manager come up to help me with my order that was placed over the phone. Literally took 20 seconds to get my pie once I was acknowledged. Her desk was right by the entrance but I must have been invisible or incredibly stealthy. EDIT: Owner said they were busy going into the weekend....This was a TUESDAY when I came in!

Blue Cake did such a great job with my husband’s birthday cake! Not only did it look perfect, exactly how I wanted, it tasted AMAZING & everyone loved it! Great customer service & great cake!

Wow! Found this place when we spent a couple of days in LR. We got a mini choc pecan and mini possum pie. They were both DELICIOUS! Loved it so much we went back the second night and got key lime and death by choc mini pies - and a sugar cookie. All were excellent! Super impressed.

I love their desserts. Plus they are always accommodating and consistent. I have been ordering from this Co. since 2010 and I definitely recommend you try them too. You won’t be disappointed.
