Magnificent original art that you can actually buy. Family owned business who makes you feel like family. Touring this place is an amazing experience. You know that you are among greatness. The family will happily educate you on anything you want to know. They are sincere and highly knowledgeable. Best experience I've ever had at a museum and as a buyer. Beyond pleased need more than 5 stars! Definitely the start of a lifelong relationship.

Have visited this gallery multiple times and look forward to visiting again. They have one of the finest collections in the country and an absolutely gorgeous gallery. I recommend anyone that is ever in the area and appreciates art in any form to take the time to stop by and visit. Not only to view the collection but to get to talk to the knowledgeable owners.

This is truly a wonderful experience. From the minute you enter the front door, you are treated like one of the family. Little did we know when we went shopping for a rug, that we would find a warm welcome to Jacksonville. The rug selection is extensive. The art work, probably one of the best private collections in the country. But the graciousness of the Mussalleum Family is unmatched anywhere. Enjoy!

Absolutely incredible place, a hidden gem if there ever was one. The guy who showed us around could not have been friendlier and more patient, you could tell he had a passion for the art and loved telling the stories behind it. Where else in Jax can you see a rug that belonged to the Shah of Iran, light fixtures from the Empire State Building, and original artwork from Duer, Van Gogh, Botticelli, Rembrandt, John Singer Sargent, and Michaelangelo. Feels like a different world and I can’t believe that I didn’t know about it sooner! So so impressive and a MUST see!

Went inside here today for the first time and to say the least it’s not going to be my last visit! James was super knowledgeable and sincere! You can tell how much the people here truly care about all of this and how passionate they are about it all which is so nice! Definitely recommend stopping in asap! This felt like a historic museum you have to pay to get into but instead it’s free and I’m just amazed by how big and crazy cool this place is!!

One of the best museums ive ever been to! Such an incredible amount of history all packed into a beautiful building. James was our tour guide and was incredibly kind and thorough. This place is beyond unique and well worth multiple visits and is completely free to walk through!

I can't recommend Mussallem's highly enough. Their selection of beautiful rugs, fine art, and other pieces is absolutely extraordinary. I can't believe we have a place like this in NE Florida - it surpasses any gallery I've ever visited in NYC, LA, DC, etc. It feels like you are stepping into a world-renowned museum. That said, Mussallem's has a variety of items in every price range - from $50 to much higher, so anyone who appreciates art and quality can find something. They will work with you to help you take home pieces that you love. Most of all, Mussallem's has incredible CUSTOMER SERVICE. Despite the phenomenal art, the best part of this place is their people. It's obvious that they love and appreciate their customers. They make you feel completely at home when you step in the door and help you with anything and everything. There is no sales pitch, just complete dedication to learning your wants and needs and helping you find something that will add that special touch to your home or business. You'll get an amazing education as they guide you through the gallery. Mussallem's is a total gem. Ask anyone who has ever purchased from them and I am confident you'll hear a ringing endorsement as well. I can't speak highly enough for this amazing place and the people that work there. Amazing art, amazing people, amazing service. Thank you, Mussallems!

I was excited to visit the Mussallem Galleries after reading the glowing reviews online. I brought my fiancé here to take a tour and possibly make a purchase. Some things looked expensive in the pictures, but the website insisted that with prices starting at $50 there was a piece for everyone. So, we made the 2 hour drive to check this place out. When we walked in, we were greeted with judgmental stares from the three men behind the counter. Sure, we’re young so we don’t look like we have money to spend, but the website made it seem like all were welcome. One of the men offered to “show us around” and proceeded to rush us around the lobby, skipping the details about the art and antiques and only emphasizing the price to make it clear that he believed we couldn’t afford it. He then handed us a brochure insisting that we should “try the virtual tour” and then promptly escorted us to the door. We were kicked out for not looking wealthy enough. This is not what was advertised on the website and it feels like we lived the shopping scene from “Pretty Woman.”

Unbelievable gallery. They have fine art and Persian rugs that can fit any price range. We were so happy with our customer service. There is nothing like this in Jacksonville and you would be hard pressed to find a better selection of rugs anywhere in the country. The family is wonderful and knowledgeable. Truly a 5 star experience.

I am so in love with my beautiful new rug, but more in love with the wonderful family that owns this amazing place. It is incredible how knowledgeable Alex Mussalem is about every single piece in the entire place. The passion he has for each rug, artifact and painting is amazing.

🫤 Had high hopes since it is centrally located in Jacksonville, surprised at the service (in a poor way).
