Thank you Mandarin Museum and Sandy Arpen for playing my documentary film - Cane Syrup: From Planting to Boiling with Alfred Geiger! Visiting the Museum with Al and his wife June was a beautiful experience as well. Also, loved playing my jaw harp at Music Under the Oaks! This is a great museum at a beautiful location!

This place was awesome. Rich history of the area is presented well. And has a nice little trail through a historic farmstead and a boardwalk along the river. And apparently the area was a place for Harriet Beecher Stowe to visit. When we were ther that had the Maple Leaf Divers talking about the wreck of the Maple Leaf and their excursion to find and raise artifacts from the ship. Definitely a great place for a day trip, it is pretty cool.

What a gem of a museum and park! The volunteers are so nice and knowledgeable. The museum has some hands on items for the kids and a beautiful walking trail. Plus this is where you buy the Mandarin frogs! We will absolutely be back.

Really cool little park, but for the life of me I can’t seem to find a sign that gives the museums open hours. But the gates are always open and haven’t seen one cop come through. Good place to go and watch the water at night along the river.

It was very interesting, museum about a local ship that sank in the St. John's River. The Maple Leaf. They had some things found on the Maple leaf. Two Civil War uniforms and a WW1 uniform from the family of a local soldier. They also had a model of the Maple Leaf. They have a local one room school, that had the old desk and writing implaments of the children that attended the school. I was nice for being small. My 5yr. old grandson enjoyed it.
