Spacious, organized, clean, and filled with options. The diversity of the salad bar is a dream for vegetarians and healthy food lovers. The staff was friendly, they accepted credit and debit cards, have a big parking area, and there are restrooms available for guests. Worth the visit!

I ordered a sub from this morning. Whomever made my sandwich did not make it how I ordered. Things added that I didn't ask for. Went way overboard with salt. I asked for oil and vinegar on the side and got it on my sub. It was overall soggy and not worth the price. Someone must have had a bad morning. Do better.

The past few times I've shopped here, both the salad bar and the sandwich station had terrible looking lettuces and tomatoes (shown in pictures). Today, i ran here to grab a quick sub around noon to eat for the first time today. A few hours past by and out of nowhere a pounding headache came on strong and i got super weak. Laid down to rest for an hour, then puked it all up and ive been in bed all day with head pounding hungry as can be with no energy.. thanks for the food poison 👎👎 i wont be shopping here any more. The only reason people pay publix outrageous prices is because the food supposed to be FRESHER AND BETTER than Walmart, but yaul just as trash

Clean. Well organized produce. An abundance of products. The staff is friendly and helpful; especially considerate at checkout. Aisles are too narrow to accommodate multiple shoppers pushing carts and carrying baskets with others scurrying to get through quickly. Publix Super Markets #LetsGuide Deerwood Lake Commons foodies

For the past few online orders, every single one was more than 15 minutes late. They keep serving the walk-ins at the deli even though we ordered our food in advance. So what's the point of ordering food in advance if they just keep serving the walk-ins first? Terrible service Edit: The guy making our subs just messily put it together in front of us 30 minutes after it was supposed to come out. Didn't even spread the mustard on the sandwich. Looks like his name is Alexander. Prioritizing walk-ins over an order we made almost an HOUR ago and sloppily making it 30 minutes after it's supposed to come out is just unacceptable.

My husband and I came to the deli to treat ourselves to a nice dinner out, but got general negligence and disregard instead. He ordered our subs at the counter and 3 times asked to have our subs on multigrain bread, but the person silently insisted and made both subs on white bread. I also went up to the hot counter and was greeted asking what I’d like. I asked to have a quick bites plate and with no further discussion of what it is I was ordering the guy made me whatever it was he felt like making, which was a plate of tenders, potato wedges, and a Hawaiian roll - again not ONCE asking to specify which options I’d like. There was a long line behind me so I took the plate he gave me, explained to the situation to the cashier as I paid for the rest of my items, and politely declined adding the quick bites to my receipt. We have never had any issues with the service here before and are happy to go out of our way to another location to avoid being given this kind of service again.

rudest Publix I've ever been to. Girl in the deli was beyond rude telling me I can't put my salad in a soup bowl. that is fine, but be nice about it. the deli manager was nice.

Publix is just great. Their personnel is always so nice and polite that you just want to go back. Prices are normal, some things chepaer, so.e orher a bit more expebsive, however, that quality is absolutely great

I've spent thousands on a monthly basis at this location. And it's sad to see where it's headed. The draw to publix has always been the bakery, the sushi, and the deli. It doesn't take a health inspector to see the deli is in a sad state of affairs, and I seriously doubt the food they're serving is safe for consumption at this time. The sushi is showing visible signs of decay in the mid-late afternoon. The only thing it still has going for it is the bakery, run by a couple of kind older women who will be impossible to replace when they retire. It would seem they've given up on building a quality team and instead have leaned on whomever shows up. But I digress, it's likely an issue with the area and theft likely makes this location near-unprofitable if I had to guess. They've got kids running the show at customer service since that's apparently the only people trustworthy enough to do it. It's not a good look for publix. Hopefully they can get it together because once the big spenders like lose sight of its value, we'll just drive a couple miles down the road to sprouts instead

I quit buying meat from here because I've had to return it several times after getting home and it smelling bad. And today is the 3rd time in the past couple months that I've come here for chilli to find the WHOLE salad bar and soup section closed and it's not even 5pm.. ridiculous

This is the closest publix to my home. I frequent it often but fit grocery shopping. Prices are way too high to me. However I may have a slight addiction to that chicken tender sub. Now that I will pay for. Pharmacy visits and cashing checks are usually the reason I'm there. Regardless it's always a pleasant experience.

I've always liked this Publix from the day it opened. The store has a huge, variety of imported and ethnic foods. Everything from the parking lot to the shopping area and the Mens rest room (I am a male) are very clean. The produce section is awesome. One of the most important things is how you're treated by staff, this Publix is head and shoulders above any Publix that I have been to. The competition should check out this store if they want to experience a truly pleasurable shopping experience. Awesome job to all of the staff.

The store overall was good. My only negative was I wanted some balloons, but didn't see any. I decided just to go check out and make my purchase. I waited in line and when I got to the cashier I asked about balloons. He told me I needed to go over by the flowers and ask for them. So I did. I get over there and no one is there. I wait and when I looked around the corner I saw the helium tank, which had a sign they were out of helium. I go back to the same cashier and mention it to him and he said, "Yeah we have been out of helium for like a year". WHAT? WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY THAT TO BEGIN WITH?? Instead I waited in his line just to get sent to an area that doesn't have what I need just to wait in line again at the register. Providing good information is always a good thing and he failed!

Some African American lady with long nails came up to me and my girlfriend with her child asking if we had the heart to pay for her medicine and was trying to show proof of how she got the medicine, we told her it wasn't an option and she disappeared. Very strange and hope you guys can look into it. Happened today.

Love Publix, they now have a kid friendly cart offering free fruit that your little one can munch on while you shop in the store, which is so appreciated. The international sections are large and you can find pretty much everything you need.

That Publix is great nice and clean the deli is awesome. Got a great plate 10 beautiful big shrimps mac and cheese and onion rings I mean a lot under $9 tell me that's a good lunch and I'm telling you that was a great lunch. The people are really nice they give you everything you ask for great and don't forget the potato chips.

Honestly if I could give 0 stars I would. My husband and I get sandwiches here often and today Dany in the deli was extremely rude while I was ordering, I had asked for a very specific meat, and told her I’d like it thin, and she said we don’t do that, and said this is what we have. I didn’t argue and just said okay, but found that to be ridiculous since I never have had this issue before. Then everything I told her I wanted for my sandwich she did the opposite of. She was in such a rush that she ended up dropping the sandwich on the floor, and remaking it, no problem right? Well she literally just threw everything on it, like as sloppy as she could. Normally I don’t care but this just upset me because you can tell she was just trying to get rid of me. Did everything the opposite of what I asked again. Extremely rude experience, the fact that the other person next to her working had to apologize for her behavior when she walked away really says something. Not sure if I’ll be coming to this location again.

This Publix has to be one of the worst ones I’ve been to. Today was awful. I ordered online to the correct store and when my husband got there to pick up our dinner, they didn’t have my order in their system. Sure. My husband waited and of course they didn’t have the sauce I asked for. Not only that, they gave my family of four a handful of potato wedges. Not enough to feed everyone. Also no cornbread, only Hawaiian rolls. Honestly I could go on about my experiences here but this was the tipping point for me. I’m always disappointed when I go here!

This place is always well stocked, and I never have to wait to be checked out, there are cashiers on all checkouts. I am presently pleased. They even ask you do you need help taking the groceries to your car. Every interaction has been pleasent. I will continue shopping here.

This Publix deli is the only bad one I've come across. We called at 7:20 to place a wing order, because they rarely have any available when we get there, but we're told they're not going to make any more for the day. Last time when we tried to place an order at 5pm, they said we had to place the 20 wing order a day in advance...

I shop here on the daily. And even with some new faces, I'm certain that publix breeds these beautiful humans and injects them v with nothing but rainbows and butterfly. They are always so damn happy. I love it. But as every publix, they are expensive. Their meats and raw produce are the best than any other grocery I've ever shopped at. They also off great saving via the store app. And coupons as you walk in on display. Also, I'm that one that gets there super late, usually before closing, and even if I run over, they are never forceful to get me out. Always kind. Thank you, guys. Each and every one of you for making the most hated shopping experience that I have to do so regularly, such an enjoyed one.

Don't shop if you hungry. Has everything the heart desires and more. Very clean...everything fresh and well presented. Service is the best, friendly and professional. Just love these stores. Can find anything here.

This is the closest Publix to my Stepdad's house. He loves shopping there. He is 98. Store is clean and employees are helpful and patient with us when we shop. Good deli and bakery. There's a certain brand/type of lunch meat he likes that only Publix has stocked all the time.

Quality Customer service. I am in a wheelchair and they gave me a very nice employee that helped me shop. They also ate so very nice about me paying my JEA bill. Cashier was great. The people helping me bag the grocery were awesome!! Thanks to everyone!!

By far my favorite grocery store on the south side of jacksonville. It is incredibly convenient to get in and out of, the parking lot is always well lit and secured, the inside of the store is always impeccable, especially the deli and bakery areas. The employees are always cheerful and pleasant and helpful. It's just a great experience all around, every time I go..

Didn't really get any help on the floor so I wondered around until I found it. The cashier really pick up the slack by giving a compliment on my "God is dope shirt". She told me about a family member having cancer and how they overcame that and I also have a family member with the same cancer. She was nice to share her story to me and im thankful for that. I forgot her name but she's Awesome!!!

Great neighborhood store. Typically has everything in stock that you need. Easy to get to from Touchton Rd, from Southside or from a road off Gate Pkwy West called Deerwood Lake Pkwy right behind the car dealership. The only drawback is the crazy parking lot. Pedestrians and drivers please pay attention for your safety.

Clean and welcoming as normal. Staff seems to work hard and maybe not as attentive because of it. Managers always seem to be most friendly at this Publix, which of course Makes it a pleasure to shop... Needless to say but I Bought a sandwich and was about to be charged for a Footlong Sandwich with meat I didn't get. I was looking for calories when I noticed the sticker said footlong and ultimate, I had a six inch turkey sub. I still paid because I didn't want to go through any trouble. But watch out if you care.

I LOVE this location and have enjoyed shopping there since my move from NY!. However, my experience with the Deli today was horrible. Thank GOD the manager is AWESOME and they should move EVELYN to the stock room or out of the door. She does NOT represent the HIGH PUBLIX standards at all.

Good place to run in after work in the South point area. Good for kitty food to feed all the cat colonies nearby as well. Except PRICES. But there's no good cheap cat food anymore.

It’s Publix and it’s nearby. I love Publix stores. They remind me of a good quality British supermarket such as Marks and Spencer or Waitrose. They even have a small British section in their international Aisle. Bravo!!

Love this location! Donna in the meat department helped me out with some shrimp scampi when I called looking for it! She's amazing and all it took was a phone call to see if it was available.
