Great service and tasty food. It’s not that fancy but the service was great and we enjoyed the hibachi.

Lowkey one of the best restaurants in Jacksonville. The food is incredible and the staff are some of the friendliest people ever. They also have football on on Sundays!

What a gem of a place, so glad we gave them a try. I love Lil mom and pop shops like Hana Yori. Awesome service, Tanya our waitress was fabulous. Very attentive, helpful, and sweet. We were craving sushi, and they nailed it. We split 4 rolls and a scallops and shrimp hibachi dish..phenomenal! Great Japanese food, and at a good price.. The atmosphere is mellow and comfortable, casual dress type place, the place itself is kinda quaint but I really love how they decorate their walls. They are completely covered with little wood tiles, that the guest themselves decorate. Really cool, and entertaining to read while waiting for your food. I'm gonna have to go back just to decorate one, because they were out of the wood tiles when we dined in. All good,gives me a reason to go back and get some more sushi and hibachi. If your into Japanese food, don't miss this place...ask for Tanya.

Everything was good! Clear broth made with beef. Different. Cucumber salad was a beautiful tower, it was wonderful. Salad with ginger dressing was ice cold and awesome. I had beef and chicken teriyaki combo hubby had steak and scallops both light and excellent. Will be back! Disappointed that two of our Japanese favorites were not on the menu such as tonkatsu and negamaki.

Best Asian food in JAX. Freshest Sashmi, great Salmon Belly Sashimi and Hibachi Chicken are so tasty. Owners and service person are friendly and always remember our favorite meals.

Favorite sushi place all pros: fresh seafood and tasty hibachi steak/chicken. Steak is tender and great on hibachi. Lava fries are delicious. Sushi is all fresh. Customer service is always good.

Food is consistently good. Cooked to order. Great sushi variety. Portion sizes were great. Good seasoning without being over spicy. Definitely try the white fish.

This places is rated highly for a reason. The sushi is great. The restaurant is nice but I wouldn't say it's romantic but it is a great place to go with friends, family or that special someone to enjoy great sushi. I went 2 times in a week after discovering it on trip advisor. Enjoy!!

It's been a struggle trying to find a good sushi place in Jacksonville. Unfortunately this place fell short! Sushi seemed pre packaged, and not fresh. Well NOT order the sushi again. The hot sake had a weird taste---- and I love authentic sake. The thing that saved this place 🙌 and will bring me back as a customer, was the steak hibachi, it was perfect! Very flavorful and seasoned perfect. Service was decent 👌

We had a party of 14. First, we were placed in a small room with bare walls and 2 tv's. I think sitting in the main dining area would have been better. Secondly, with a big party like that you would think they would have 2 waitresses or waiters to take our orders. Our waitress did what she could. When we ordered apparently they left off one of our orders and the food didn't come out until we were almost done with the food. The food was good and filled the plate. Another thing I'd I wished they updated the prices for the menu that is on their website. Would I go back, maybe.

A friend took us there for the first time and we were thoroughly impressed. Seated in front of the chef’s hibachi grill it was a real treat for me (retired Executive Chef) to see Love and Skill at full display. Everything we had was superb- fresh and tastefully presented, can’t believe that we missed this gem of a restaurant. More details will follow after another visit. WG

The place is always packed so be prepared to wait around 20-40 minutes but the food never disappoints. If you love spicy sauce they can make custom ones ranging from 1-50 just ask for the number when ordering. It's a great pairing with any of the hibachi meals. Atmosphere here is great along with the overall aesthetics. Family safe environment and friendly service.

This sushi was incredible and so delicious! We had the Lava, Dragon, Russian Silk, and a Custom roll all in Soy Wraps. The Russian Silk was the best of the 3 house rolls. We also had the steamed dumplings (so tender!) and the soup. We loved everything! Our waitress was so pleasant and her timing was perfect! All of the staff told us bye when we were leaving and were genuinely happy to see us. You will not be disappointed!

Had a group reservation for 10 for a birthday party and they handled it wonderfully. No wait for the table, all the food was timely and fresh and the place had a great, friendly vibe. Shout out to the waitress, I think her name was Nicole? Didn't get overwhelmed by the group. Definitely worth a try for everyone who loves hibachi with friends

From the minute we walked in the door we had such a great experience. Really well taken care of by the wait staff, They were always checking up on us and even just gave a smile when they walked by. The sushi was amazing it's amazing the 2 of us split 3 rolls several single pieces and the steam dumplings. Everything had great flavors very eye appealing, Portion size were perfect. Definitely a place will be visiting often you need to get yourself there and check it out.

My family and I went here because it was highly recommended. We were so glad we did! Prices are great, portions are large, waitstaff was so kind and helpful, and we had a very short wait time even though this place was packed when we got there! The sushi was delightful, and My family loved their hibachi dishes! We will definitely be going here again!

Super welcoming environment, friendly staff, and an owner that truly cares and checks on his guests! Every roll I ordered was fantastic and well made with fresh ingredients. All of the raw fish was noticeably better than most sushi I’ve had here. We also ordered hibachi chicken that was delicious. This is our new go to sushi spot!

Excellent food at a great price paired nicely with a Friendly and Professional Staff! Every time that I go to Hana Yori I know that I will be having a great experience as the chef remembers you and asks about how you have been and is always happy to see you come back, the food which is phenomenal and very unique fill you up nicely, this is the go to Japanese restaurant in Jacksonville Florida. I am happy to say that I am a regular at Hana Yori.

Hana Yori is a not-well-kept secret. One of my favorite places to eat in Jacksonville ! If you can get in. It's usually slammed from open to close. Whenever I return for a visit this is always a must visit . The food is not only fresh, but well selected and well prepared. The owner pays great attention to the details of what he buys and serves and will occasionally take a moment away from the hibachi grill to chat with customers, not so much since covid tho , which is kind of a shame, but understandable. We usually start with hot saki and order the soup without scallions. Extra ginger dressing for the salad please. The dressing is made in-house and I have not been able to find anything even close to this flavor out of a bottle for much more money, so I have resorted to just buying as much as they will sell me, everytime I visit. Usually enough for a few salads. The shrimp are just amazing, grilled or fried. They just taste so fresh. Everything here tastes so fresh! Bon apetit !

My son brought me here, its aregulars ofor him.ll He has the sushi bar and he loves it, I had the teriyaki steak, very favorable and excellent. Plenty of vegetables and rice to go with, service was prompt and courteous. This will be a regular stop when I am on this side of town.

Very fair prices. Really great Sushi! Really nice service and people. Very clean place and a nice and relaxing ambiance. Enjoyed the entire experience from start to finish. Cali was a really great server! But the value and quality to price is really good.

I would have given this restaurant a 5 star in the past but our last two visits have not been at that rate. Last visit 5 days ago we were there and the service was sub par to what it use to be. We had to ask for things multiple times such as gluten free soy, utensils, they forgot my wife's chicken part of her entree. The server also was trying to take my plate of sushi before I was finished. To top it all off they charged me for my wife's salad that actually came with the meal. The visit we had at the beginning of November was a total disaster they brought out all of the food for myself and the couple we were having dinner with and totally forgot to put in my wife's order then they said she had to wait because they had to go orders ahead of her. Not Good. I always get sushi hard to mess that up. My wife gets steak and chicken and she said the quality was terrible. Both times she did not eat much of her meal. My wife after the second time of this happening asked that we don't come back. The only reason I gave them 3 stars and not 2 is because it use to be awesome.

A-Mazing filet mignon, it was seriously some of the most tender steak we’ve ever eaten! Local spot, love the atmosphere.
