Pretty good place! Decided to give this place a try, and possibly the best choice I made for the day. Great sandwich selections! They also have a round table display of condiments and extra toppings to your picking (the jalapenos added a great touch the sammie). The customer service was also very friendly and informative with the menu. Overall, great atmosphere and healthy options for lunch.

My first time here and I tried the soup.. Probably not my best choice. The Bisque had a nice texture but I did not care for the pumpkin spice. The roast beef was nice for a fast food type operation. All in All I may try this place again. For a overall rating I say average but really nice staff at this location

Inexpensive ,pretty small portions but good quality

I love this place! Along with Jason's deli, this is one of my "go to" places if I am craving a good sandwich. The bread here is amazing to me. The have a really nice menu of salads, soups, pizzas and sandwiches. I recommend the Newks Q (pizza or sandwich) or the Pesto Chicken sandwich. The servings are nice sized, the food is good and fresh, and the service is always fast and friendly. Definitely a great place to stop for a meal.

Try the spicy shrimp pizza and lobster bisque! Yessssss,. . . ! And the potato soup is to die for.

I was looking for a new place to get a sandwich and happened here one day and was blown away. I ordered the Italian on wheat and fell in love with the first bite. The bread was fresh, the meat was delicious; the combination of ingredients was amazing. I've been back several times and this place NEVER disappoints. Sandwiches are made to order but they also have "Grab and Go" options that are fresh as well. Try it. You won't regret it!

I usually enjoy Newk’s Eatery at every location I’ve visited. Most of the staff is kind and polite, the food is always great and the wait time is never too bad. HOWEVER, one of the managers at the San Jose location (her name is Claire I think) had such a bad attitude! She was extremely unprofessional, careless and truly just seemed lost. I’m not sure how someone can be promoted to manager lacking so much effort, care AND skill but... I guess that’s just how this generation is. Very disappointed.

CAULIFLOWER CRUST VERDICT! I know there are a million reviews, but since the cauliflower pizza crust is new, I thought I'd share my thoughts with you. First of all, I love Newk's. Great food, pretty fast, and great people, too. Never had a bad experience there. But since my diabetes diagnosis, I've been pretty limited on menu options. Thank Heaven for the Black & Bleu Salad! My wife recently discovered that Newk's was doing a new cauliflower crust option for their pizzas, so I decided to try it. Important note: I DO NOT like cauliflower pizza crusts as a rule. They crumble when you bite into them, they don't cook properly, and they taste like, well, cauliflower. To get to the point: this is the best cauliflower crust I have ever eaten. It tasted great, had a pleasant crispiness to it, and it held up to my Rottweiler-esque bite force (this has not actually been scientifically verified as of this writing, but I'm confident in the statement). I got the Q, and it was delicious from start to finish. Kudos to Newk's! Keep those crusts warm for me.

The food here is pretty good! Unique pizzas and salads along with so simple options as well. My favorite salad is the ultimate salad. The portion is really generous and there is something on the menu everyone will like. I have picky eaters and they love going to newks.

Not sure what all the hype is about but I ate here for the first time last week and definitely not impressed. 25$ for 2 tiny sandwiches. they were good but nothing more than that. as for the cashier/server he had no smile looked like he hated life and was very dull. Definitely wont be back

Pretty decent food, but realize the food it not intended to make you fat and happy. Its reasonably healthy, I think. I have had the caesar salad many times and its good...but its not 3000 calorie-good. If you're looking for true, high-calorie comfort food, this is not the place, but if you want a decent lunch that doesn't blow your diet, this is the place. Soups are pretty good too. Sandwiches are good. No matter what you order, visit the "sides" table so you can doctor-up your food with cheese, croutons, crackers, spices, etc...and customize to your liking. Staff has been consistently nice and professional.
