Food is amazing and the staff is super friendly. Always love coming here when I'm in town.

Our food was AMAZING!! We will be back again! It would have been five stars, but our waitress was working a double, so she had to cash out while we were there(her words.) But, everything else was definitely five stars!! The queso and tortilla chips is definitely the way to start your meal…our son is already planning our next lunch at Poes!! And you MUST VISIT the bathroom!!

One of the best burgers I have had in a quick minute! Not a shrimp person.. but...those Buffalo fried shrimp were unexpectedly good.

Great experience. Food was fast and hot. Burger was overcooked but was return quickly and correct. Outside seating . Very unique place. Burgers are very good. This is a must try place. Parking is terrible if you deal with that then awesome

Excellent food and atmosphere! Highly recommended! I love all the Edgar Allen Poe memorabilia. They even had the Tell Tale Heart playing in the bathroom.

Stopped in on Saturday 3/25 for a quick bite and wasn't disappointed. I had a chicken quesadilla with a side order of fries. The quesadilla was crunchy and crispy (which I love) and the guacamole was good too. The fries were crunchy and good needed a little salt which is fine with me I'd rather control what I put in. My wife had the "Tell-Tale Heart" burger which has a Fried Egg, Applewood Bacon & Cheddar Cheese on beef burger. She let me sample this and wasn't disappointed. Love the little bit of char and it was super tasty. Also note the bathroom was pretty cool too with all of Poe's work plastered all over the wall and someone reading his work over the speakers. Was pretty cool. Overall a pleasant experience and would come back again.

Excellent service, best burger in Jacksonville and the drinks were fire!! We had the Gold Bug Burger with Goat Cheese and Red Pepper, Fried Onions and a the Tell Tale Heart with Egg Over Easy and Bacon. Homemade fries to round it out and the burgers are flame roasted, Thick and Juicy and so so so good. Our waitress Delaney was super fast, helpful and have great suggestions. Just a skip away from the beach and the outdoor seating is beautiful and airy. We also love the subtle nods here and there to Edgar Allen Poe! Great restaurant! 100000 stars! We will be back!

It was a dark and dreary evening. The wind was blowing and the temperature was just right for chili. Both my wife and I decided on the side salad and bowl of chili and they were both amazing. The chili has just enough beef and beans with a slight kick. The flavor was amazing. The salads were all fresh and crisp. Our server was excellent and made sure he checked in on us occasionally that we had everything we needed. Definitely known for their burgers but we decided to change it up a bit and salad.

We had a great experience at Poe's. It was a very hot day and we had two dogs with us. The waitress brought out a water bowl for the dogs which was above and beyond. Additionally she told us that rain was headed our way and there was a table inside the doors for us just in case we need it (we did). Our food was delicious and our service was great. It has a smaller menu which I think is a good thing (quality > quantity). You can't go wrong here plus the portions are great.

I stopped by for a couple cocktails and really enjoyed them. The outdoor space was beautiful in the afternoon and I'd bet it feels pretty magical at night. I'd recommend the Rickshaw and Moscow Mule! I can't speak on the food, but I do love that they have lots of veggie burgers! Unfortunately many have dairy, but their Veggie Raven is vegan! I like that it's even listed in their FAQ page.

First visit and EVERYTHING was on point! Atmosphere and music was great. Food was fresh, hot and delicious. We sat bar side on patio and the bartender was super cool. We arrived about 2:30pm, so after lunch rush, and still had to circle a few times for parking. But was totally worth it and will visit again. I had the Beef Sleeper burger. The house blue cheese was the best I’ve ever had. Son had the Beef Rue Morgue and salted caramel cheesecake. We licked our plates clean!

The best burgers in Jax, big, juicy, cooked to order and tons of options! I had the Amontillado which had just the right amount of spicy kick. He has the Tell Tale Heart with a perfectly cooked egg on top. The fries were crispy and delicious and the blue cheese and bacon coleslaw was my favorites, definitely a unique flavor profile. Our server, Jeremy was attentive and friendly. He made great recommendations for us and made sure I had a refill of my cocktail, a spicy margarita, when I finished the first one. Great vibes, love the decor and plenty of space between the tables - you don't get crowded up against fellow diners. We can't wait to go back!

When ordering the good, we had no idea how large the portions were going to be! The food was fantastic and so was the atmosphere. It was an absolutely amazing place to enjoy some great food!

Their burgers are amazing! We came at around 5:30 and it was a bit busy, our server was very sweet and checked on us often. The atmosphere is very nice and they have really nice outdoor seating. Food didn’t take long and the Raven veggie burger was very good. We will definitely keep coming back.

Sorry for the partially eaten burger picture but I could wait to sink my teeth in it and forgot to take a before picture 🤷🏽 I’ve had burgers all over the country and this is hands down one of the best in the country and definitely THE BEST in Florida. The temperature was perfect, so so much flavor and huge! I only ate half and took the rest home! Oh and the fries, on 🔥 If you’re an Edgar Allen Poe fan you’ll love this place! The food has all name references from his stories and the decor was set up like an old tavern from hundreds of years ago. It’s an absolute must destination for all foodies!

Fun theme restaurant honoring Edgar Allen Poe. Fresh catch of the day, burgers, salads, tacos, sandwiches. Loved sitting outside in the "garage" (covered outdoor seating off to the side of restaurant). Large bar inside and many tables.

Excellent burgers and ambience. Seating indoors or outdoors. Edgar Allan Poe is read aloud in the John taking this Poe over the top, just like the very tasty burgers with generous servings. The service was solid and prices fair. The photo is a bunless burger.

I ALWAYS order the Amontillado burger and it is so amazing. The interior and exterior of the building are super cool and I've never been disappointed going here. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat.

I'd heard about these burgers for years, sad it took me so long to try them out! I had the black cat and it was AMAZING!! My husband wasn't thrilled with his Pit & Pendulum burger but I warned him that it looked like a boring one. His onion straws and burger came out cold but mine was fine... I'm not sure what happened there so that's the only downside. The side salad was huge, i have to find the vinegerett that came with it bcuz that was the best dressing I'd ever had. Definitely great place for beers too

This place is absolutely amazing. The theme of the restaurant is awesome and the food is outstanding, the chili was good, I got the gold bug burger it was amazing and my boss got the Rue morgue burger and you need to be super hungry to finish it. Definitely a must try.

Giving this place 5 stars purely on the burgers. The menu is limited but if you have a burger craving this is the place to go. The poe theme is present but honestly has no reflection in the menu which was slightly disappointing but the food made up for it.

Walking in with so welcoming. Gracie greeted us and our dog and was super friendly made the place just feel like home. Drinks were on point and came out quick. Gracie stop by and talk to us before leaving made us feel extra welcome and our server Jen did a great job today. Will most definitely be coming back

Food was great, I had the Buffalo Shrimp Tacos. My waitress was very nice and responsive, and quick to bring my order. Lots of families on vacation around lunchtime. There was a family sitting behind me, and a mother reading her daughter's text message very loudly (it was hilarious)! Overall, a great experience. Can't wait to try the other restaurants in the area.

Just found this place. So cool! The decor is really interesting, but the burgers and the drinks are killer!!!! If you laughed, then you got the pun! We got the bun less burger that sits atop a bunch of fries and is topped with chili. It was fabulous!

Between the nachos to the burgers all delicious and our server was amazing and informative. Can't recommend enough
