The Atmosphere: The vibe in here is wonderful. As soon as I walked in I was relaxed. The service is good and the waitresses are friendly. The owner is the absolute best. He was so fun, warm and inviting, I felt like I was at a friend's house for dinner. The drinks: I had a ginger rum runner and my husband had an irie sun set. The drinks were great, my only complaint is that I was the designated driver so one drink limit for me. The food: outstanding, we had the loaded fries with jerk sauce as the appetizer. AMAZING. For dinner I had the jerk chicken and my husband had the Akee and salt fish. I loved my dish and he loved his. Price: We were FLOORED with how reasonable the prices are especially considering the location. Definitely worth every penny. Overall we LOVED this place and will be making it our new date night spot.

Fantastic diner with authentic carribean food. Homey decor. Clean establishment. Loved everything about it. Large portions and decent prices. Food was freshly made. Oxtail dish was a hit. The goat stew was good too. Plantains were delicious. Most of all, the service was amazing. The chef came out and delivered the dishes. The owner checked in. Friendly and hospitable. If we make it back to Florida, we'll be back.

Amazing food, amazing service!!!!!!!! I travel around the country and try different caribbean food. I am not easily impressed. I can't say enough about this place. I ordered a steam fish and it was absolutely delicious. That food had no chance. I asked for spicy, and i was warned about the level of hotness. Thanks to the waitress. The owner introduced himself, which was a rare thing to see if it is not a premium upscale restaurant. I was very impressed. It felt like i went to a family house for dinner. He was a very pleasant man. I sat right in the parking lot and put a post on my social media. The waitress was absolutely awesome. I can't wait to return and visit.

This was the perfect end to a delicious meal, a rum cake with ice cream... so good. The flavor of everything was amazing! Definitely making this a regular spot! Very friendly servers and the owner even took the time to thank us for coming. Definitely coming back!

An amazing lunch. We were in town for a wedding and wanted to try this place before having bland chicken and vegetables for dinner lol. Owner was very kind and friendly. Loved the whole fish!

Very nice and quaint , food was 💯 the music was chill but would have loved to hear a live band The food tops anything that one might feel is missing. The Snapper is snapping good!!! Lots of bones so be careful! Can’t talk and eat on that but delicious nonetheless.

Arrived after 5 on a Saturday and dining area was almost full, we decided to sit at the bar, a wonderful experience! Service was timely and friendly. Food was excellent! Had the jerk wings for appetizer, oxtail and curry chicken for our entrées. Oxtail was delicious - best here in Jax! Ordered the jerk chicken meal to go but I think the jerk wings were better. We will definitely be coming back. I would highly recommend stopping in here for Caribbean food. I’ve been to many of the Islands and this bares hommage to the wonderful flavors and passion for cooking.

The food was so amazing from the art to the taste is made you fall in love with it. My favorite is the brown stew fish my appetizer was a coconut shrimp. I can’t tell you the name of the sauce, but it was delicious. Customer care was above average on your next occasion. Try Irie Caribbean cuisine. You won’t be disappointed.
